Regis's POV

Phe had something on her mind. I gently touched her hands.

: babe, you okay?"

Phe: just thinking"

: about?"

Phe: Lady Night"

Dreku: did she talk to you?"

Phe: yes, she told me that Zane is betraying us, he is trying to get to the Night realm, he is working for my father"

Her charm started to glow. Phe touched it

No One's POV

Phe stood up and ran out of the house, Regis, Draku, Sakura followed her, Neal saw Phe.

Neal: Phe, is everyone okay?"

Phe: listen, only a few people can be here, Regis, Sakura, Draku, Saber, Koru, and Cheyenne please follow me"

The portal lit up and the small group walked in the portal.

Regis's POV

I saw a huge castle, Phe ran in the castle and yelled at someone. Me and other others followed her

Phe: Zane, get away from the amulet now! My father will never get it!*The amulet went to Phe and her eyes changed colors. Her memories came back* Zane leave now!!"

Zane: no"

Phe summoned a light spell circle under her, a light staff appeared near her

Phe grabbed the staff and casted a spell to trap Zane in the Ruin realm. Sakura looked at Phe. a portal opened.

??: come on hurry!"

I walked over to Phe and gently grabbed her hand. We walked out of the portal, what we saw was nothing of Vineless.

Sakura: thank you, who are you?"

??: my name is Mercy, welcome back to Vineless"

: what happened to Vineless?"

Mercy: you have been gone for 5 years"

Saber: five years?! We have only been in there for 5 minutes"

Mercy: the night realm is different, lord Neal wants to see you guys"

??: Mercy, you did it"

Mercy: thanks* she falls back, the guy with the mask caught her* I used too much energy, you guys need to go Neal's house"

??: I will take her to her house"

Sakura: let's go"

We went to Neal's house. Neal started crying and hugged all of us.

We hugged him back,

Neal: I missed you so much"

No One's POV

Everyone( in the group): we missed you too"

Sakura: what happened to Vineless?"

Neal: while you guys were gone, a lot of things happened, Leon is now our head farmer, I'm married and I have two girls Moon and Sun"

Saber: that's awesome, sir what else has changed?"

Neal: we an area for trading shops open, we have plans to rebuilding the guard station in two weeks, Saber you are the new head in command of the guards, we have six new guards, I will take you to them, Sun sweetie, can you take the girls to Cadenza please"

Sun: okay daddy"

Phe, Sakura, Cheyenna followed Sun to Cadenza's house, Saber, Regis, Draku, and Koru followed Neal to the guard station. As the girl walked into Cadenza's house, she looked at the girl and hugged them. They hugged her back.

Cadenza: you have been gone for 5 years, I was starting to get worried about you guys"

Phe: sorry, we did not know what happened to the outside world when we walked in the portal"

Mercy's POV

I woke up and saw the masked man standing near my bed.

??: how are you feeling?"

: better, thank you"

??: you're welcome, do you need anything?"

I tried to move but my leg was hurting, the masked man walked over to me and gently touched my leg. He took his mask off and wrapped it around my leg. I could see his eyes, his dark brown eyes, he looked at me. For 4 years he has been hiding his eyes from anyone.

: dark brown eyes"

??: until I get mad, yes"

: may I ask, what happens when you get mad"

??: I can show, I promise I hurt you but I need you to say something bad about me"

: I don't like how you don't tell people your name"

??'s eyes changed to blood red. I gently touched his cheek. He calmed down.

??: ...."

: can you stay with me?"

??: of course, I can"

I moved a little on my bed. My leg still hurts, ?? laid down next to me

: I think I will call you Mask since I don't know what your name is"

Mask: I like it"

I felt Mask gently wrap his arms around me. I gently cuddled Mask. Mask started to blushes. I could feel Mask's heart beep.

The next day Phe's POV

I was making breakfast for me and Regis. I felt someone gently touch my ears. I started to blush.

: p...please s...stop"

Regis: I will my love"

Regis kissed my cheek. I kissed his cheek back.

Regis: whatcha cookin my love?"

: my mother's favorite sunflower pancakes"

Regis: do you remember everything?"

: yes, I remember that my mother use to play with me and we would go to a house in the plains, there lived a lady called Frida"

Regis smiled after eating we were helping Saber and the other guards with the cleanup, the building team was making new plans. I looked at the plans.

: what if you put Saber's room near his office, here* I pointed at an extra spot near the office* that why Saber could be close to his room and office"

Saber: I like that idea Phe"

: thanks"

Garrorth, Vlad, Laurence, and Gene were helping. Regis walked over to me. I looked at Regis and smiled. He smiled at me. Sakura ran into the station.

Sakura: Saber, Phe, Regis, it's Neal's daughter Moon she fall off* I ran out of the station and went to Moon*"

I saw her laying in her mother's arms. I placed my hand on her chest and started to heal her. Faith looked at me and I could see she was going to lose it. I keep healing her. Moon slowly opened her eyes, I smiled and heard people yelling out my name.

Faith's POV

Regis caught Phe and kept her close to him. I looked at Moon and smiled

Moon: mommy is lady Phe okay?"

: I don't know sweetie"

Regis: Phe?!... babe, please wake up"

Cheyenne placed her head on Phe's chest.

Cheyenne: she is alive, just overdid her new magic"

Regis looked at Phe and smiled, he stood up and went to Phe's house. I could tell that Regis is the perfect match for Phe. Mercy ran over to me.

Mercy: Lady Faith is everyone okay?"

: yes, Phe healed Moon, then out of nowhere is passed out"

??: she must overdid her power"

Mercy: can I check on Moon to make sure she is okay?"

Faith: please"

Mercy gently touched Moon's head.

Mercy: she is okay to be okay, Phe did an amazing job healing Moon"

Mercy's POV

Moon hugged me. I hugged her back, Mask smiled and gently touched her head.

Faith: hey, you are the masked man, that my husband was talking about"

Mask: that's me"

Moon: my daddy says you would make a good guard"

Mask: I don't know about being a guard, I don't think the other guards like me"

Garroth: are you kidding me, the others know about your acts are kindness"

Mask looked away. I could tell something was wrong. Before I could say anything Mask ran into the woods.

Mask's POV

I stopped by a tree and sat under it. I took my mask off and started to think of my past actions

-flashback-

I was reading a book when my son ran into the house.

My son: daddy, lookie what the nice man gave me"

I looked at my son and saw he was holding a necklace. The necklace started to glow. I dropped my book and ran over to my son, he fell to the ground. I looked outside and saw everyone was laying on the ground. I heard laughing. I ran outside and saw a guy wearing a mask. I growled and changed into my wolf form. I ran at the guy and attacked him. He pulled out a sword and knocked me out cold. I woke up a week later, my people died. My own son died. I went to my old house and grabbed my son's scarf. I packed a small bag and left my old home. The village of Metalkins.

I tighten my grip on my mask. My son I swear I will get revenge for who killed you. I felt someone hugging me. I looked at Mercy and saw her hugging me. I gently placed my head on her chest.

Mercy: I'm here if you want to talk about it"

: thank you, Mercy"

Mercy: you're welcome Mask"

Her hands felt warm and safe. Why do I feel safe with her?

: can I stay with you tonight?'

Mercy: yes, you can stay with me as long as you like"

: thank you"

Mercy: you're welcome"

I felt something hit my head. I looked up at the sky and saw rain. I pulled Mercy close to me and we were under the tree. Mercy looked at me. I blushed and looked away. I felt Mercy place her head on my chest.

: tried?"

Mercy: a little"

: wanna go back to your house?"

Mercy: in the rain?*I shifted into my wolf form* you're a wolf?!"

: yep, I kinda hid it from you and the others, you can get on me* Mercy got on my back* hang on tight"

I started to run. Mercy was holding on tight. She was holding on to my son's scarf aka my mask. We made it back to her house.

Mercy's POV

We walked in my house, I got off Mask and he shifted back to his normal form. No ears or tail. I pouted

Mask: is something wrong?"

: your ears and tail are gone"

Mask: I hide them"

: please show them"

Mask showed his ears and tail. They were black with grey tips.

Mask: better?"

I hugged Mask. Mask was shocked at first but then he hugged me back

Phe's POV

I slowly opened my eyes and saw Regis sitting near my bed.

: babe?"

Regis looked at me and hugged me. I hugged him back

Regis: I was worried sick about you"

Saber: Regis, is Phe awake?"

Regis: yes, I will tell Neal"

Regis left and Saber walked in my room. I sat up in bed and looked at Saber. I could tell he had been crying.

: Saber, please come here"

Saber walked over to me. I hugged Saber. Saber hugged me back.

Saber: I was so worried about you"

: I'm sorry, I made you worry about me. I wanted to help Moon out"

Saber: it's okay. Neal wants to throw a party in your honor"

: a party for me?!"

Saber: yes, he said you have done more than just saving his daughter, you helped with the guards with the new station"

: I like helping"

Saber: we need to get you to Cadenza"

I stood up from the bed, I felt a little dizzy but I could fight it. We went to Cadenza's house. Sakura helped me to the basement.
