1 week later, Koru's POV

I was reading a trader's paper. Mr. Neal has been more protective of the village lately.

: do you have any weapons on you?"

Trader: no sir"

: you may go in, the lord is at his place"

The trader walked away from me. Saber walked over to me.

Saber: you can take a break"

: I'm good"

Saber helped me watch the main area.

Phe's POV

Regis was staying near my side. I was happy to have someone near me during this time. Sakura and her dragons have been helping me train with my werewolf side, Draku is kinda scary and cool. Sakura is super cool with her dragon powers. Regis blue flames are awesome, Saber was the other dragon magic as Sakura, Koru has another power is still awesome. Neal allows me to hang out with him when he needs help. He was not over the death of his friend, I was looking at a map of the ocean. There was no island big enough for a house. Regis handed me another map but this time I saw something. I hugged Regis and felt tears running down my face. Regis hugged me back, he gently rubbed my back.

Regis: did you see something?"

: there is a house ruin on a huge part of the land, maybe that's the house I'm looking for"

Regis: that's good"

I gently placed my head on his chest, he gently moved his fingers through my hair. I purred, Regis smiled and gently kissed my forehead I looked at Regis. Regis looked at me. His eyes showed safety and kindness. I gently touched his cheek. Regis smiled and gently booped my nose, I sneezed

Regis: bless you"

: thank you, Regis, can I ask you something"

Before Regis could answer Koru walked into my house.

Koru: lord Neal wants a group meeting at his place about the next action he wants to take"

We went to the lord's house.

Neal: Now that everyone is here, I want to talk about the new plan I made. Koru, Saber, Captain Zane we are getting two new guards, Koru do you remember the trader you checked today?* Koru nodded yes* well he is my father's old friend, I have asked him to help us set up 4 farms, he has a daughter and I want you all to give her respect, Phe I want you to show her around please* I smiled and nodded yes* Regis, Sakura I would like you too to find a spot for a fishing dock, any questions?"

We all nodded no and went to work, I went to the building site of the house and saw a girl sitting on the stairs watching her father plan the fences.

: hi"

??: h-hi"

: I'm Phe and you are?"

??; Faith"

: hi Faith, do you want a tour of the village?"

Faith: yes please, dad I'm going to go look around"

??: be back by sunset and no later!!"

Me and Faith started to walk around the village of Vineless. She was really shy.

: hey, are you okay?"

Faith: can we talk somewhere more private?"

: sure, we can go to my place*We went to my place and I made her a drink* what do you want to talk about?"

Faith: my father has been way overprotective of me, ever since I was little, he won't let me do anything without asking him. I wanted to see the lord today but no, he won't let me"

: maybe your father has a reason"

Faith: maybe... I heard the lord is super nice"

: he is"

Faith: is there any way I can meet him?"

: I can take you to his place if you want to"

Faith's POV

Me and Phe went to the lord's house. Phe knocked on the door, the Lord opened the door and we went in.

The lord: Is everything okay?"

Phe: yea, Neal, this is Faith she wanted to meet you"

Neal: Hello Miss Faith* he gently kissed my hand* how are you liking Vineless?"

: I love it"

Phe left the house.

Neal: I know something is wrong, do you want to talk about it?"

: my father has been way overprotective of me, ever since I was little, he won't let me do anything without asking him. I wanted to see the lord today but no, he won't let me, he told me to be back at the house by Sunset, he has been like this since I was little, don't get me wrong I love my dad but he needs to trust me"

Neal: father will do anything to keep their kids safe. I lost my father when I was little, my mother was the only family I had left until she died of old age"

: I'm so sorry about your loss, I lose my mom when I was young too"

Neal: Thanks, I'm sorry for your loss. Do you remember anything about your mom?"

: only her last few words"

Neal: same"

We spent the whole day talking, I walked home, the sun started to set. I made it home just in time. My father was resting in his room. I started making dinner. My father's health has been getting worse every day. When we left our old house he promised me I would be safe here in Vineless. I placed a plate on the table and waited for my father to wake up. My father walked downstairs and sat at the table and started to eat. I smiled and made me something to eat. We were low on food, I had to think of something.

My father: Faith, what are you thinking?"

: I was thinking about getting us more food, we are low on food"

My father: no, I will get the food"

: but dad, you need to rest, I'm going to send a letter to my older brother"

My father: NO!"

My father started coughing, I ran over to my room and started crying. I felt someone hug me. I looked up and saw Neal hugging me. I cried in his chest. He gently rubbed my back. 20 minutes later I looked at Neal and hugged him, he hugged me back.

: how did you find me?"

Neal: I have really good hearing* he showed his wolf ears and tail*"

: you're a werewolf"

Neal: yep, do you want to stay at my house tonight?"

: please"

Neal gently picked me up and teleported us to his house. He placed me on his bed.

Neal: you stay in here, I can stay in the guest room"

: can you stay with me please"

Neal's face turned deep red

Neal: s-s-s-sure"

Neal shifted into his wolf form and laid near me. I gently pet him. I heard a low happy growl come from Neal.The next day I woke up and saw Neal was gone. I heard voices from the living room. I went downstairs. Phe and other people were talking to Neal about something. Neal looked at me and smiled.

Phe: my lord, we have word that a new group of thieves heading to Vineless"

Neal: Saber, Regis, Koru, and Zane get ready for any fighting that might be needed, Phe, Sakura I need you if a battle is needed. To please protect anyone who can't fight"

: what can I do?"

Regis: aren't you the daughter of the farm owner?"

: I'm"

Regis: there is a guy waiting outside"

I went outside and saw my older brother Leon standing against the house.

: Leon?"

Leon: it's me, sis*I tacked Leon to the ground while crying. Leon hugged me* I see someone missed me"

: I missed you so much, brother"

Leon: I missed you too little sis, how is dad?"

:*I sat up* he is getting worse, he won't let me do anything without having a be home died line, when I said I was going to send a letter to you he yelled at me, I told him we were low on food and he said he was getting to get food for me and him"

Leon *sighs* I will talk to him, right now I want you to go check on the farm please"

: I will"

I went to the farms. They are all done. I started to replant the crops for each of the 4 farms. My older brother was talking to my dad. I can tell he has grown. I saw something in him when I tacked him to the ground. I looked at Leon

Leon: if you are wondering if something is different with me. I'm a Ruin knight now"

: is that why Father dislikes hearing your name?"

Leon: yes"

: What did you say to father?'

Leon: I told him, I'm staying here with you"

: thank you Leon"

Leon: you're welcome sis"

We went inside. My father was sitting at the table. I went to the kitchen and started making him something to eat. Leon was helping me I smiled.

: brother can I ask you something"

Leon: sure"

: if you meet a werewolf what would you do?"

Leon: I would talk to the werewolf and see if he/she is good or bad. Why do you ask sis?"

: the lord of Vineless is a werewolf"
