Lexi pov
I walked with terry when a cat like lady came out. I didn't see terry anywhere and someone grabbed me. "All right! Come and the little lady doesn't get shredded!" Yelled the cat lady. Literally she was a cat. "I don't think so tigress." Said. Batman?! "Put her down and I will let you go." He said. I looked down and saw I was at the top of a building. "Not a chance, batman!" And she let me go. I screamed and waited for the floor and a big crack but it never came. I felt arms around me and I looked up to see batman. I held onto him until we landed on a building. I looked and saw he managed to take down tigress. I looked back at him. He looked different from the other one. "Thanks for saving my life." I said. "Your welcome." He said. Then I thought about terry. "I gotta find terry! He might've gotten hurt!" I said and was about to run and help him but batman stopped me. "He's fine. He's the one who told me." He said. I nodded and walked down. But when I looked back up to say something he was gone. "Lexi!" I heard a yell. "Terry?" He then ran to me, hugging me! "Are you okay?" He asked. "Y-yah." I said. "Did you know of the new batman?" I asked. He nodded. We walked and a girl came to us. "Terry!" She yelled. "Dana. This is Lexi snow." He said. "Hi Dana Tan." She said as she shook my hand. I nodded and walked to a near by news. I'm pretty good in news. "Thinking about going to main news?" Asked Dana. "Yah, I like to do the news." I said. "Come on!" She said and dragged me in. We walked by the news coworkers. Some said hi. Some saw who I was. We then walked into the bosses office. "Hey Mrs. Hannah! Someone wants to be in the news business." Said Dana. I looked to see Mrs Hannah. "Alright. She's in." She said. "Really???" I asked. "Well, if you can get a picture and something about the new batman." She said. "I will!" I said. She nodded and handed me some stuff. A techno pad. Everything I needed. "Well, get going." She said. I nodded and ran out. I saw terry and he looked at me. "What did you do?" He asked. "I got a job!" I yelled. "Wow! In like a day since you got here? What's the job?" He said. "News! And my first assignment is to take a picture of the new batman and find something about him." I said. Then I saw him getting a nervous look. "Are you okay?" I asked. "Yah, just why batman?" He asked. "He's the new batman from the old one. I'll finally get to see him again." I said. "Wait! You like batman?" Asked terry. "Well, kinda. He's like you." I said. He was about to say something but didn't. "What?" I asked. "Well, maybe he's going to be at the docks?" He said. "Are you like friends or something?" I joked. "Hey, I can hear. But wasn't there someone else you liked?" He asked. "Yah, but I don't think he'll like me back." I said. "Who?" He asked. "Can't tell." I said.
Terry pov
Oh my...... I think it's me she's talking about. "Well, I'll see you around." I said then slipped away. I looked around and changed into my uniform. "Are you really trying to impress her?" I heard Bruce ask. "Well yah. I'm a male. She's a female. Males try to impress the female. So that's what I'm doing." I said. Soon I heard him sigh. "Fine, but I'm not watching." He said and turned the com off. I flew to the docks and found her there. Her hair was flowing from the wind. I saw her look around but she just shook her head. "Maybe terry didn't tell me right." She said and was about to leave. I was going to just appear but then some guys saw her. "We for a live one boys." Said the leader. She looked back and ran. They grabbed her and pinned her down. "Hasn't been taken. She's fresh." Said the boss. I then dropped down. "I would let the lady go." I said. "And what will you do bats?" Asked the boss. Then all his goons came at me. I easly took them down. And went after the boss. I grabbed Lexi and we got out of there. They were about to use her. If I didn't show up. "T-thanks Batman." She said. "Welcome, so why are you out here?" I asked. I obviously knew the answer. "I needed to get one thing about you but I guess that was shown." She said. I smiled and walked over to the edge. "Take care now." I said and dove into my jet. I saved her two times today. I think I'm earning her trust.
Lexi pov
After I turned in the info. I just needed to keep on going to his fights. To get how honored he is of his job. Then the TV turned my story on.
Batman! A new hero who acts like the batman from over 50 years ago. Lexi snow has been through a fight when she was almost raped. Now she is sleeping safely because of the batman. Is he going beyond the batman of 50 years ago? Or is he doing this for honor? Lexi snow will show you that this so called vigilante is actually a hero.
I smiled as I saw the picture of batman. Maybe I do like batman.
Terry pov
I saw the news and dropped the remote. Lexi is changing the image of the batman. She's getting them to like the batman. She's making him a hero. I smiled and turned off the TV. I went into my room and thought of Lexi. If I'm the batman then she loves me. If I'm plain old terry she likes me. What if she knew I was both?
