Day 2
A loud alarm goes off blaring into my ears I wake up with my husband aside me.
"Hey, it's morning."
"Oh.. hey mornin' sweetie" he smiles.
"I think we should tell her, you know.. if she is awake."
"I bet you a thousand dollars she is already awake." He says with sarcasm.
"It's not time to be joking , as a matter of fact it's not time to be betting either, this is serious Henry."
"I know dear, I know.." he said as he patted my hand.
We walk downstairs together, holding hands. We find our daughter sitting on the coach watching TV. She looks so happy, a sudden panic runs down my spine as we approach her, but I force it away.
"Hey mom, hey dad, what's up?" Phoebe asks in delight.
"We have to tell you something."

The image in my head disappears, I was confused as to what I had just dreamed. As I sit up I look toward the other bed in the room for Emily. I find her peacefully sleeping under the covers of the bed unbothered. I had decided not to wake her up as I passed her to go through the door. As I walked down the creaky hallway to the old banged up kitchen I open the door to the fridge, that was now filled up with a dead squirrel and a few freshly picked raspberries. I grab the raspberries and decide to cook the squirrel later. Before my fingers touch the wet raspberries, I realize I need a bowl to hold them in. "There might be a bowl somewhere in these cabinets, at least one." I say with slight hope. I look in each cabinet except one above the non existing stove, as I reach up to pull the handle to open the cabinet the door falls off and hits my foot. As the cabinet door hits the knuckle of my toes I let out a loud screech.
"Shit shit shit shit!!!" I scream, realizing I might've woken up Emily. Sucking in the pain I lean around the corner toward the hallway and look for any sign of Emily being awake. Luckily my screech and fowl language didn't wake her up. I attempt to sit on the floor to look at me feet and in that attempt I fall hard on my butt and barely land perfectly. I had landed lopsided and off balance, while also protecting my door from anymore damage I had tried to keep my balance as I was falling onto my side. It didn't work, I fell onto my. I needed to get back up crisscross in order to look at my food, and so I wouldn't be on my side like a moron. My hand reaches under my side and I push my body up not only did I put up, but I flung my head up as well hitting the top of the old rusty sink.
"FUCK!" I shouted realizing that I was loud again also while swearing. I stay quiet for three total seconds to hear any movement from the hallway, luckily again, there was nothing. I look at the injured toe as it starts to bleed and swell up. "Shit," I try to whisper. "Fuck'n aye, what the fuck do I gotta do to get food." I roll my eyes and proceed on with getting off of the floor. I stand up carefully well aware of the injury to my toe and the rusty sink behind me. Not only did that cabinet have nothing useful for food in there it also had like a gazillion spiders. "Great.. just effn' great.." I say with an annoyed sigh. I decide to grab the raspberries anyways in handfuls and proceed to eat them one by one, as I limp to the coach in the rickety living room I find myself in more pain then ever. My head is aching and my toe feels like it fell off, I need to do something for my toe and for my head.
"Those raspberries were good for being out in the woods for how ever long." I say calmly. I had wondered if my sister was still asleep and maybe I could look for some more food and maybe even some health supplies. I had been going on these trips ever since we left the house, every morning for the last 2 days I'd go out when Emily's sound asleep and get some food. My knife was good for gutting rabbits and squirrels, so I make sure I always have that and my flashlight when I leave. I put Ansley cloth around my foot to stop the bleeding and or a shoe over my feet. It hurts like hell but I suck in the pain and proceed to quietly leave the ranch. As I get to an easy hunting area I trap one squirrel and lose 3 rabbits. I decide to not take any bunnies or "cute" animals like chipmunks so Emily doesn't get upset and not eat.
Before I can stand up I hear a twig snap, I freeze in place making sure it wasn't me and Incase I hear it again. I make a complete 180 looking around for a squirrel or any other animal that I could kill, nothing. I loosened my shoulders and knees and stood up straight, as I lifted my bad foot in attempt to limp another twig breaks. This time I look around again for another animal, there is nothing around and I begin to become paranoid. I had began to think that there is a person near, either a homeless person or someone that would be willing to harm me. My body became tense and prepared myself for any sort of attack on me from a person. As my head turned my body turned with it and there was nothing to be seen around me. My shoulders and knees release the tension, I by accident add to much weight to my bad foot and I let out a gasp of pain.
"Ow.. oh god.. ow." I start panting as if I had just ran a marathon the pain of my foot creates warmth going up my leg through my stomach and to my heard that begins pounding. I begin to cry as the pain in my foot builds and builds. "Did I just break it even more?" My voice cracks while I choke back tears. "I.. gotta.. mmm" I pause because of the pain. "Get b-back home, ohmygod" I slur together, the pain is to much for me to even speak. I realize I have to take my shoe off of my foot, the moment I think about pulling the shoe off I will get waves of relief toward the pain or I'll either get waves of pain. I decided to take my shoe off anyways and begin to untie slowly. "S-lowly, ever-r so sllooowlly, ughhh." The pain of untying my shoe is bad but after getting my shoe of the pain can't not possibly be as bad as when it is on." Before I can get to the last lace I hear a scream farther in the woods behind me, it sounded like a girl and luckily it was in a different direction then the ranch. But before I can even turn my head back toward my shoe I hear another scream piled on top of two more. Before I can react to the third one my instinct was ahead of my eyes, I had stood up and started limp running away. A huge unnatural noise had followed the last two screams and it encouraged my feet to run faster.
Millions of twigs breaking people running behind me getting closer, I don't even bother looking at them, I assume they are running from the same thing as me, he booms get louder. All of a sudden a whistle in the air right above me and two other people gets closer and louder every few steps and then, I blacked out.
