As far Marco knew it, he was just a plain average boy. Trying to stay outta trouble ( though in most cases he kinda caused it) Until this girl from another dimension came into his life, but the only reason HE was chose is because he had been labeled as "the safe kid" which he was totally not, just because he did all his classwork didn't make him safe. I'm getting off track, This girl now named Star, made Marco's life a WHOLE lot better and I'll tell you mostly how.

  Well first off he was sitting in boring classes and then he was traveling from dimension to dimension,fighting monsters and going on adventures. Marco at the time thought he wasn't gonna get along with Star. Because when he first seen her, she was chewing on the water fountain like a loony, and also when he went home with her, she kinda messed up his day.

After Marco's bad day, a portal formed out of nowhere. It glistened with color before allowing monsters to be free in the human world. It just had to get worse, hadn't it? He thought. He was already supposed to be living with Star and now a few monsters show up. "We are the Mewmen Monsters and our master, Ludo requests that wand. If you don't hand it over, we'll have to take it ourselves." They announced clearly. Ludo sat on a throne and smirked at Marco devilishly. Shit... Marco thought, but not soon after, Star showed up.

Marco formed a vicious combat plan. Star would distract the minions while he targeted Ludo. Then, Star's friend, Ponyhead would come down and save them if the fight got too rough so they could send guards out for the monsters. Star was fast and loud. She easily distracted and attacked each monster. Marco, on the other hand was having a harder time fighting Ludo. Ludo was swift and agile while Marco was less fast and more rusted. Ludo held a sword to the neck of Marco and brought it closer with each minute that ticked by. 

But in the end Marco pulled of a move that he himself couldn't even understand, He stole the short dagger and slashed ludo across the eyes, Blinding him Marco then kicked Ludo in the shins and then (and with his height that shit hurt like hell) Kicked him across the face knocking Ludo out . Star looked over, standing upon a pile of defeated monsters and the two finally made up.

 Then after the battle. Star's other best friend named Ponyhead came and took Star and Marco who she called "earth turd" on a party night which almost got Marco killed. But that night only lasted in Ponyhead being took away in a muzzle. And more adventures like that came,like the time Marco broke his arm and almost killed a child. But for some reason Marco felt that he had a strange attachment to the tentacle arm....

It was a day before the blood moon. Marco and Star had school in two hours. However, this bothered him for no more than one reason; they needed at least two and a half hours to get ready. Star was an indecisive being, while Marco was impulsive and had no patience for her. Every morning it was a battle between ponytail or pigtails. Star was still asleep and Marco was not ready to wait.While Marco then started thinking about leaving Star. BUT he also thought that if he didn't wanna get a narwhal blast to the face, he might as well wake her up.

Marco crept up the stairs carefully, shielding his eyes. What if she's indecent!? He thought to himself. He didn't want to seem perverted, especially not to her. If he was being honest with himself, he'd grown to having somewhat of a crush on her. He knocked on the door but there was no answer. She must be sleeping. He figured. He walked in carefully, not to disturb the girl. It pained him to wake her up as she was adorable when she slept but he had to do it.

Marco tapped Star's shoulder, gently. "Star, wake up." He cooed. Star rolled over in her bed with an annoyed groan. "Go away, Marco." Her words dragged as she spoke. He laughed quietly. "Come on, Star. We have school." He spoke softly. She turned back towards him with an annoyed look on her face. 

"Come on, I'll make you star-shaped pancakes." He said with a chuckle. She jumped out of bed and ran towards the on-suite bathroom. "Star-shaped pancakes!" she yelled excitedly. He smiled to himself as he walked downstairs to start on the pancakes.

Star leaped outta bed, changed into her iconic teal sleeveless short dress with four colorful stripes on the chest,with a white bear face on the left side towards the bottom and light sea green and pale green striped leggings, also two silver bracelets with spikes. 

After making a breakfast of Star shaped pancakes the duo ate, talked until It was time to got to school but before that Star had to fix her hair one last time.

"MARCO I'm ready!" Star yelled, sliding down the stair-case railing.

"alright Lets go." Marco Said but for some reason he could feel a headache coming on....

But before this I wanna tell you what Marco is wearing. You may think that he's wearing his usual light gray shirt with a red hoodie and dark gray skinny jeans, he's not. 

Marco's actually wearing a leather jacket with his red sweater under it, He's also wearing black ripped jeans, and open black gloves, just like the picture above.He also, like Jackie had streaks of color in his hair, but he has dark red on the tips of his hair. 

(I told you I'm making him as bad as possible)

When the duo got in front of school

"Hey Marco why are you walking so slow and holding you're head so much?" Star asked turning around to see a very much in pain Marco.

"Sorry Star. it's just that I'm having a awful headache today" Marco said still holding his head, and for a minute it felt that her was hearing something OTHER than Star "Oh yea a headache is a earth term for when you head hurts a lot" Marco then said explaining

"Well are you sure you wanna come to school today?" Star said starting to become worried for her best friend "You can get pretty upset or pissed off when this type off stuff happens, Like that time you got mad at me for trying to get rid off your monster arm"

"Star. I'll be fine, I've had more headaches than you can count. and could we not talk about the monster arm? I already had a nightmare on what he said last time" Marco said smiling.

Star loved Marco's smile, It was so comforting Just like Marco himself. She was also blushing a tad, then quickly realized what she was thinking of, and quickly shook of the blush.  "Y-yea M-marco let's just go hurry to school or we'll be late" 

Inside Ms.Trolls class bc I'm lazy >_<

Marco walked toward his desk, only to be met with a leg sticking out. This leg came from no other than Brittney Wong, Marco grimaced. She and her boyfriend, Lars were the main problem to him being such a bullied loser last year. 

They we're also the reason he couldn't ask out Jackie, His since elementary crush. Marco vowed over the summer that things weren't gonna be like last year, he already handed Lars his ass when he had his monster arm, so this was gonna be a new start.

"hey puke boy. Don't think because you got a new style that you can stare at me" Brittney said with her signature eye roll, and then looked Marco up and down." also why is your hair red at the tips?"

"can you move you're foot? and stop calling me puke boy" Marco asked ignoring her second question, he was already having a bad day...he didn't need anymore stress.

"I could move my foot and stop calling you puke boy, but where's the fun in that? how bout this? I'll move my foot if you get on you're knees and beg me. " Brittney said smiling like the asshole she was.

Brittney was bitch, the whole school knew it. She had shitty grades, and made smart people do her work for her. How did she get away with this you ask? For two reasons actually, one was her boyfriend Lars, and he would knock anyone into next week if they refused "his queen" as he said it. oh and her parents were rich assholes.

Marco fucking hated that girl with a burning passion. She thought she could doing anything because she had Lars, and her parents money. Lars was also the biggest bully in the school, So if  Marco wanted to slap the shit outta Brittney because of the way she treated everyone, he would have to go through him. But then he calmed down because He already had a headache,and Marco didn't wanna getting yelled at today,or sued for that matter.

So after him looking  into Brittney's 7 layered makeup eyes, he  jumped over her leg and gave her a glare as cold as ice. As he got into his seat, Marco started wondering why he was having a headache. He barely got them, and he could swear he could hear a deep voice in his head saying "remember............. remember..............".

Maybe he was going insane.......He also wasn't as enthusiastic in class as he normally was, and Ms.Skullnick picked up on that real fast. It's was like she had some special teacher power or something. But Marco just didn't care, even when Skullnick gave out questions only HE knew and the other kids were actually waiting and mouthing for Marco to say the answer.

The only reason they're class wasn't being constantly yelled at was because of Marco. Because he supposedly loved answering the teacher's questions that nobody else could, and because Marco didn't answer any questions, Ms.Skullnick started picking randomly around the room, Making almost all the kids in class upset at Marco, especially Lars...

(come on at least ONE of you're teachers have done this -_-)

But since Ms.Skullnick was tired off getting shoulder shrugs, and "I don't know" from all the other students. She picked on Marco (even though he didn't have his hand up) and Started saying "Mr.Diaz I have a question for you. The Battle of Austerlitz took place during which war?" 

Marco knew that this was a insanely hard question,and he knew the answer. The rest of his classmates we're now smiling and they're worries were washing away, they now had no reason to worry because they thought that Marco could and him being the "Safe Kid" would never refuse a question from a teacher, they also thought he probably knew the answer too.

But to they're demise all Marco said was "I dunno. Maybe in the roman wars" Marco said with his head down on the table, seemingly not caring. Not only was this not the right answer, THIS WASN'T EVEN THE SAME SUBJECT.

"Mr.Diaz I'm positive that's not the right answer and I'm sure you know that as well, because we studied this last week and you got the highest score in class. So I'm gonna ask again...The Battle of Austerlitz took place during which war?... and please give me a honest answer" Ms.Skullnick said, getting a little annoyed by Marco's lack of care.

"No"Marco said without anymore words

The students gasped.Marco Diaz? the safe kid said "No" to A TEACHER?? 

Star grimaced, it was already happening..........

"WHAT WAS THAT MR.DIAZ?" In a blink of an eye Ms.Skullnick was in Marco's face screaming her head off

"You heard me I said no" Marco said putting a little more anger into that last "no"

"SO HOW WOULD YOU LIKE A TRIP TO THE principal's office"Skullnick said, putting every bit of venom she had on that last part.

"it surely beats being in here with this bunch and why can't you ask somebody else? some kids HAVE their hands up." Marco said with a look seemingly saying "I can't be bothered"

Lars had enough at this point, got up from his desk and started screaming "YO DIAZ WHAT THE FUCK IS YOU'RE PROBLEM? JUST ANSWER THE DAMN QUESTION."Lars then sat down with a anger expression

"Ms.Skullnick I'm fine with going to the principal's office, So can I go by myself?" Marco asked,seemingly ignoring what Lars said.

"I DON"T CARE WHERE YOU GO. JUST GET OUTTA MY CLASSROOM" Skullnick yelled for the second time, you gotta wonder how does she never lose her voice?

Marco got up. Held on to his head, grabbed his stuff and got the fuck up outta there, the Students now we're looking through the window watching Marco leave. Star wanted to go get him and reason with him,but that might make him yell at her... or worse make them have a fight.

but before he left he flipped his middle finger to the whole class.He then went to the office

As Marco got to the principal's office, he knocked and opened the door. Then he seen his principal munching on 12 different flavors of ice cream, 3 cones in each hand. Principal Skeeves almost dropped his ice cream right then and there,Why was Marco in his office? he always seemed like a good kid, he shouldn't have be in his office in a million no a BILLION years.

"Hello Marco. may I ask why and how are you in my office?" Principal Skeeves asked putting all his ice cream down.

"Mr.Skeeves I got kicked outta class because I didn't want to answer a question. And because you asked how am I in you're office, I walked here" Marco said slumping in a chair, leaning his head back. As he tried to shake off his painful headache, Marco then found himself going into a deep,deep sleep.

In Marco's mind

Marco was confused, he'd never seen this place before. he thought that this headache may have messed with his mind. All around him was darkness, but weird enough he felt safe in that moment. 

"remember,.............remember................REMEMBER!!!!" The voice shouted.

Marco had to put his hands over his ears, if not they might have been burst. 'How can a voice sound so far but be so loud??" Marco thought in confusion, but just then he was hit with a searing pain to the head. Like needles to the skin, Marco then saw what seemed to be a movie playing in his head, 

* Discarded Flashback*

This man in dark knight armor. rushed into battle. He was facing another man with a more light colored armor, to Marco it seemed like a war was going on. He wanted to try and help, but this war while looking like Mewni, Didn't seem like it was in the same area of Star's castle.

Also most important, Marco Didn't know if this war had just started or had already been won,or lost..The scene changed, He was now in the POV of a baby. This baby's mother was hiding in a seemingly closet?, the baby then started to cry. This lady looked stressed out of all, It must have been hard to be apart of this war.

 That said lady started whispering. "Its gonna be okay, You're fine. Nothing bad will happen, You're father is gonna come back any minute now."

Marco guessed that this women was the baby's mother. Just as that child started to sleep, there was a bang coming from a very boarded up door. The worried woman quickly put the child down and went to the door, conforming that it was her husband and this child's father she let him in.

"Did you win Arthur? are we still the king in queen of this castle?" the Women asked the now named king and the child's father Arthur

There was a long pause before Arthur responded. "......I'm afraid not Alexandra.. our army is gone...The enemy is still pushing forward, He will find us. I'm afraid if we want to keep our bloodline going, we need to send the child away...."

Alexandra's eyes widened at the fact of letting her baby boy go. She then started to cry heavily "No anything but that... don't do this to me Arthur...Is there NO OTHER WAY??" Alexandra shouted with all the tears she could muster. She really loved her child she never wanted to be away for him for to long. but if she did this, she would never see her child again...

"the last time this almost happened was when one of those queens broke gravity, and We almost lost him when that happened. I don't want to go through that again" Alexandra continued 

As Marco watched this, he wondered why Alexandra said queens like that. Almost if this kingdom didn't like queens from other castles, or maybe something bad happened...

Arthur could see where his wife was coming from. When that happened it did cause a lot of trouble, for the other kingdoms and his royal family.

Arthur, no matter how hard he acted, he always put his family first. He always thought of his child like a tiny version of him. The kid basically had all of his features, brown hair, caramel skin, and of course, his star mole right on the cheek.

Marco literally almost fell to the floor, 1 because of the sad scene and because he had another thought about the memory in front of him. They couldn't be talking about him could they? 'No they couldn't be I'm a loser. That comes from a middle class family. besides their's thousands of kids in the world with the same mole' Marco then reassured himself that couldn't be him.

Arthur had to pull himself together and remind his wife that this was for the best. It wouldn't be good if the whole bloodline got whipped out. 

He then took his child,  and placed his head against his son's Arthur then thought. 'son I really hope you find this. I will send you to a safe planet, hopefully  Blade will fill you in on what happened to the castle but until then be a good kid'  

Arthur smiled at the confused child. he gave the child to Alexandra so she could say her last words and got the dimensional scissors ready.

"Goodbye......*Sniff* my little star, be good. don't do anything we wouldn't do, and remember to listen to Blade he's the only person that can teach you. I want you to settle down somewhere and find a girl, who loves you" Alexandra said through quick sad sniffles.

The child was put in a small basket with a note.there was a tearing in the sky,and Arthur while tearing up, he put His beloved son through the portal. But just before the portal closed the words "goodbye Marco" were heard from this baby's mother Alexandra.

After that a couple that looked just liked Marco's parents came up and took in the now named baby Marco in, treating him like their own. 

*End of flashback*

Marco was in shock,He couldn't believe the people he called family weren't ACTUALLY his family.  Marco wanted to think this was some messed up dream, but he couldn't, it was like his body refused to believe this was fake. He wanted to scream, scream at his "parents" and scream at himself for not realizing sooner.

Sure Marco and his "parents" looked alike. In skin color, language, and hair. It would be hard to notice the small parts, like how when Marco asked for baby pictures of himself, His "parents" would always change the subject, or come up with excuse of some sort.

There was that one time Marco grew crescent moons on his cheeks, that he couldn't wash off for some reason but after a few hours of waiting they went away on their own

And that one time Marco got his "father" very upset and Rafael (that's the name of Marco's father) started to say " You know sometimes I wish we had lef-"

 Rafael!!! Shut you're mouth" Marco's Mother seriously said from the kitchen as she was making dinner. If she would have let his father keep talking, Marco may not have liked what he heard.

Those two times alone were too weird for Marco to ignore. He would have to ask his parents when the got back from they're business trip.

Now Marco had to worry about getting out of this dark space,until he felt somebody faintly saying "Marco? Marco wake up...........MARCOOOOOOOOOO WAKE UP"

Marco shot up, in a panic. He was sweating, he heard a voice say "I'll see you soon"

Marco looked up at the person who woke him up,it was of course Star. And Marco must have been out for a while, because the whole school day was over.

"Marco? you good I've tried to wake you up for the past hour," Star said while biting her wand which by now has a few dents in it. Really makes you wonder why Ludo STILL wants it.

As the duo left school,Marco had a lot to process. If he was that child from that memory, Marco believed he needed to ask Star about any wars or kingdoms that had been destroyed on Mewni. 

Marco then thought 'what if Star gets suspicious of me asking about her history. I can't just tell her I'm from a kingdom that was probably at war., she would never believe me'

Marco really had to think about this. Maybe he could lie and say he needs to know to understand her better. yea that's what he'll do.

"Hey star?" Marco hesitantly started "What would you say if I told you I might be a prince from Mewni?"

Star went into a bust out laugh, "What? Marco why would you think that?"

"I don't think that I'm just speaking hypothetically, Wouldn't it be so cool if I was a prince or king or a castle" Marco said composing himself

"But speaking of Mewni. Star I don't know much about that place, can you tell me about any wars that happened?"

"well I could but we might wanna wait until we get home"
