Chapter Four
{Kisa's POV}
I feel so numb....
Light rays fell over my face, waking me. My eyes slipped open and I moved to sit up, cringing when pain shot through my abdomen. "Ow..." I grunted, placing a hand over the sore spot.
Glancing down at myself, I froze.
A blanket was covering me from my hips down. But I was only clad in a very large, long sleeve shirt and my undergarments. I narrowed my eyes and tossed the blanket off of me while swinging my legs over the side of the bed.
There was pain, but I did my best to ignore it.
Pushing myself to a standing, I swayed for a minute, then continued to look for my clothes, or at best, some pants.
I faintly heard a door open and I glanced behind me, wincing when the pain magnified. A very familiar man stood in the doorway, arms crossed over his chest. He had black hair pulled back into a low ponytail, his bangs falling over his green eyes.
"What are you doing?" He asked, frowning. "You should be resting, your wound hasn't fully healed." He pushed himself away from the door frame and started toward me. I stood up fully, a small whine escaping my lips as a hard shot of pain went through me.
My legs gave out beneath me, but before I could hit the floor, strong arms surrounded me. My fingers found their way to his shirt, clutching at the material as he sat on the bed and placed me beside him, but leaning so that there was hardly any pain.
"Shh, princess, take a deep breath," his voice was low and soothing, coaxing me to follow his instructions. "That's it, good girl." One of his hands smoothed over my hair, his fingers running through the long, pulled down strands.
"I-I'm okay now." I breathed, pushing myself away from the man. "Where am I?" I asked, glancing up and into his eyes. "And who are you?"
"Save your questions for later, sweetheart, we need to get moving." He stood and went over to the dresser I had been rummaging around in. "The men that attacked you are still looking for you. We need to get out of the village and take you somewhere safe." He said, opening a bag on the top of the dresser and pulling out a pair of pants.
"Konoha." I blurted out. "We can go to Konoha. It's safe there." The man stopped in his movements to look at me with a raised eyebrow. "I-I know people there."
"Unfortunately, right now, we're a few days away at best. And with you injured, it would take longer to reach Konoha. Are you sure?" He asked, holding the pants in his hands as he slipped them onto my legs.
"Positive." Helping me stand, he pulled them all the way up and I frowned. "Can I at least have one question now?"
He chuckled, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. "Alright, but only one for now. You can ask more later."
"What's your name." I asked.
"Ichiro." He answered simply. His hands, which had settled on my hips for a second, dropped to his sides.
"Oh..." I breathed.
Ichiro turned and grabbed the bag, slinging it over his shoulder. Then, he crouched down in front of me. "Come on, princess, time to go." I leaned over him, just as he stood, his hands slipping beneath my legs to keep me up.
He left the room, which apparently was a room in an inn, and started down the streets of whatever village we were in.
"Hey, Ichiro," I rested my chin on his shoulder as he carried me.
"What is it, princess?" He responded.
"Wh-" I stopped myself and sighed. "How old are you?" I amended, eyes closing.
"Nineteen."
I hummed, slowly drifting to sleep, suddenly feeling tired.

{In Konoha}
Minato cringed as he entered the Hokage office, following his uncle, Sasuke, who remained impassive. "Sasuke," the blonde Hokage frowned, only spotting one of his children. "Where's Kisa, did she go home?"
"Naruto." Sasuke sighed, running a hand down his face. "Kisa was kidnapped." He forced out, making the Hokage's eyes widen, then narrow. "We searched everywhere in the surrounding forests, but there wasn't a trace of her, though we found the kidnapper dead."
"Shiori's going to kill me," Naruto muttered as he stood. "Sasuke, get Kakashi. We're going to track her down. I'm going to kill whoever took my daughter." His fists clenched and he glared at the floor.
"I know." Sasuke smirked, seeing an old fire he hadn't seen in awhile. He understood though, mainly because he had a daughter of his own. Suki was his pride and joy, and he would do anything for her.
"Dad-"
"Minato, I need you to go find Shikamaru, Kiba, Sai, Hinata and Shino. We need all the trackers we can get." The blonde teen nodded.
With their instructions clear, the two left the Hokage alone to think of a plan.
