All of the students participating in the G.W.E were all currently standing in the Center of the stadium. Welcomed by audience that cheered most loudly.

Nora: Wow!! There's even more people than last time!!

Kasai: From what I heard, the G.W.E grows in popularity every year. But I didn't think it would be by this much!

Intercom: Students and guardians of HOH, may I hav your attention please! Tonight's groups have been decided!

Weiss: So how exactly does this game work...?

Ruby: Weiss!! We've been over this!!

Y/N: Just listen. I think they're gonna cover it anyway.

Intercom: As you know, our first game is Minecraft! All of you will be divided into groups of five. Your objective is to simply survive a single night since we'd be here all week if the goal was actually finish the game.

Y/N: Alright, seems easy enough.

Intercom: The groups will now be called!

Your Group:
- Y/N
- Pyrrha
- Sato
- Sona
- Amanda

Sato: Oh wow! I have dialogue—

Y/N: Well! I guess we should get to work! You mind getting things set up, person behind the intercom?

Intercom: Of course!

With that you and your group were warped in a flash of a bright light.

Time Skip

You along with the four others in your group had all just appeared in your own Minecraft world. No other players occupying it.

Pyrrha: So this is the game Ruby likes playing? If I'm honest it doesn't really surprise me.

Y/N: Can't blame her. This game is so much more fun when playing with friends.

Sona: It seems like such an innocent game.

Y/N: Trust me, it is until it's not.

Sato: So what's our first goal?

Y/N: We've gotta build a house to take shelter in and make some torches so that mobs won't spawn in that house.

Amanda: "Mobs"...?

Y/N: Basically this game's word for Monsters. You got your basics like Zombies and Skeletons. Then there's spiders and creepers. Along with a bunch of others. Avoid creepers out of them all though.

Amanda: Man, but fighting a bunch of monsters at night sounds like fun!

Y/N: Well we at least need to make a house first. Important stuff first, fun later.

Amanda: Fine...

Y/N: I can't believe I just said that...I really have changed.

Pyrrha: I played a little bit of this with Ruby. We need wood, right?

Y/N: Yup. That's really all you need for a basic house.

Amanda: And where are we gonna get wood?

Y/N: You really gotta ask that...?

You then started looking and gesturing at all of the trees in the surrounding area. Amanda went silent and blushed in embarrassment as everybody went to do their own things.

Sato went off not to grab some wood, but cobblestone instead for whatever reason. You were the one taking the wood from the trees and leaving the leaves to float in the air.

Amanda joined you in harvesting wood from the trees. Whereas Pyrrha and Sona simply picked flowers because they felt like it.

Later

After lots of wood and stone collecting, you had crafted all of the materials into proper blocks to build the house with.

For a Minecraft house, it was pretty good. As to how you were able to build it before the sun went down not even you knew.

The house mostly consisted of wooden planks, but Sato had agreed to let you use his cobblestone to add it to it's structure. Pyrrha and Sona simply decorated the house with the flowers and other plants they picked.

Y/N: Who got the lanterns...?

Sato: I did. I found them in a chest.

Y/N: Was there anything else?

Sato: Nah, that's it.

Y/N: ...*Eyes Narrow*...are you sure...?

Sato: Y-Yeah! I swear that's all there was!!

Y/N: ...Ok.

Sato was telling the truth, but you thought that he was hiding food. Which he wasn't. But speaking of food, your in-game hunger was very low. Almost to the point where it would start hurting you.

It didn't help that you were actually hungry as well.

Y/N: Please tell me that somebody grabbed some meat or something...?

There was a long silence after that. That was until the silence was broken when Amanda flashed red for a split second. She grunted in pain for she was taking damage from hunger.

Y/N: Guess that's a no...

Amanda: Wait!! I got apples!!

Y/N: Oh thank god...

Turns out Amanda had harvested all of the leaves from the trees you mined. It just didn't look right to her so she had to do something about. In the process she got nearly 30 apples.

She handed around several to each player as you held the pixelated apple in the palm of your hand. You had never thought that you would be tasting Minecraft food at some point in your life.

You quickly ate the whole apple in a matter of seconds as your hunger gauge started to go back up.

Amanda: How's it taste?

Y/N: Mm...There's literally no flavour at all...

Amanda: ...Well that's boring.

Sona: Hold on, Y/N. Are you able to use your powers here...?

Y/N: Hm. I don't know. Let me check.

With that you then aimed your palm towards a tree. You attempted to fire a beam of Ki but instead simply fired a basic Ki blast. It was small and only broke a single block of the tree.

Y/N: Just as I thought. Like last time our powers are temporarily nerfed. Probably varying on what game we're playing.

Sato: Hey look! The sun is starting to go down!

Y/N: Well either get ready or get inside. Mobs will start spawning before it's completely dark.

Amanda: Finally! Some action. Lemme at em!

Sato: I'm gonna go inside. We don't have any sugar here so I can't really use my quirk.

Pyrrha: I'll stay out here and fight too. Sounds like fun!

Sona: I'd rather not fight—

All of a sudden an arrow zoomed past Sona's face and hit the house. Sona going wide eyed and running into the house with Sato as you prepared yourself for a battle.

Skeletons and Zombies started to emerge from the looming darkness as Amanda readied her wand. Pyrrha pulling out her spear as you simply cracked your knuckles.

Amanda: Let's rock!!

You were going to join the fight but after seeing how much Amanda wanted to fight. You simply sat back and let them take care things.

Zombies and Skeletons were coming from all directions. Pyrrha had a much easier time fighting these things than Amanda did.

Amanda mostly relied on her magic whereas Pyrrha used her own skill and abilities to her advantage. However both of them made short work of the mobs in no time at all. Amanda only got hit once by a Skeleton arrow.

Y/N: Good job so far, guys!

Amanda: Thanks!!

Suddenly you noticed something creeping up from behind Amanda. You acted fast and leaped to her direction as she celebrated.

However before you could reach her, Pyrrha's spear suddenly hit the mob attempting to sneak up on her. It was there when you got a good look at the mob. At least for a second before it blew up in the distance.

Amanda: Huh?! What was that?!

Y/N: Creeper...

You then felt a presence suddenly warp behind you as you went wide eyed and turned around while gritting your teeth.

Y/N: The fuck-

It was none other than an enderman. Both you and the tall creature staring each other down as the Enderman's eyes started to narrow.

Y/N: Ah shit!

Amanda and Pyrrha watched as you and the Enderman suddenly started warping all over the place before hitting each other and skidding away from each other.

Amanda: What the hell is that thing?!

Y/N: It's an Enderman...stay back. Imma crush this thing with my bare hands!

You suddenly slipped behind it and punched it with a balled up fist. Followed by a series of little Ki blasts to daze it a little.

The Enderman responded by roaring at you and grabbing you by the neck. Throwing you into a tree as you instantly recovered and bolted towards it.

Y/N: Since when can these things actually fight?!

Getting right up into it's face, you then smashed your fist into it's chin with a fierce uppercut, sending the Enderman into the air as you grabbed it by it's leg and started slamming it around Puny God-style.

The Enderman then teleported out of your grasp and appeared behind you as you were surprised that it was still alive at this point. The creature grabbed you by your face and started dragging you through the dirt.

You were able to free yourself from it's grasp by powering up with a base aura as you started rushing it with a powerful barrage of punches and kicks.

However a single roar was all it took for you to be blown away by several shockwaves as you skidded across the ground on your feet.

This surprised you more than anything else. Even if it was skilled enough to fight, Endermen aren't typically this strong.

Y/N: Something's not right here...

You were about 10 feet away from the Enderman so you tried to anticipate it's next move. However something you weren't expecting was for it's arm to stretch out and grab you by your face again.

The next thing you knew you were being slammed into the ground over and over again as eventually you got a good grip on it's arm and once the time was right, you managed to stop it.

Y/N: My turn!

You suddenly threw it into the air and appeared below it before smashing your balled up fists into it's head with a double axe attack.

The Enderman hit the ground and bounced a few times before you warped in front of it and smashed your fist into it's torso as you flashed with a large base aura.

Letting out a quick scream, you flashed into Super Saiyan for a split second and finished the battle by punching right through the Enderman's body and tearing it in half.

An Ender Pearl then fell onto the ground as you landed on your feet and returned to base form.

Amanda: Y/N! That was awesome!!

Y/N: Yeah...I don't know what happened. Endermen aren't usually that hard to deal with.

You then noticed how the sun was starting to rise again. And that concluded your time in the Minecraft world for you did what you were supposed to do. Survive the night.

All five of you were suddenly warped back to the stadium as the crowd cheered and the intercom spoke.

Intercom: Wow! What a fight! You kept the crowd at the edges of their seats with that one!

Y/N: Eh. That was nothing.

Intercom: Be prepared for tomorrow's game, Garry's Mod!
