Where we last left off, your evening had been spent talking with some new friends. What you didn't know however was that a certain Red Dragon intended to challenge you to a fight. If he wanted a fight, he was definitely going to get one today.

It was now the next day. Around 10:00 AM. Most people were still eating in the cafeteria, yourself included.

You were currently ravaging a series of plates of numerous breakfast foods. Eggs, Bacon, Pancakes, Ham, you name it. You were like a rampaging tornado that couldn't be stopped.

Sitting with you were Kirishima, Yang, and Ruby. All three of them watched you tear through your breakfast like a buzzsaw as they tried to eat their own food.

It was Saturday meaning that there was no school today. You didn't quite know what you were going to do with your day yet.

Kirishima: So, any idea what you guys are gonna do today?

Yang: I wanna get some training in. I typically like to workout on my free time.

Ruby: I'm probably gonna relax for most of the day. I'm in the mood for some video games, assuming our scrolls work here. What about you, Y/N?

Y/N: *Gulp*...I'm not sure. I might follow your lead and kick back for the day. There's not much to do around here for me personally.

Kirishima: I get that.

Yang: If you're not busy, why not hit the Gym with me? You like to train, right?

Y/N: Hm...Yeah, I haven't checked the Gym out yet. Sure! Let's do it!

However your plans for today would be changed when you felt a something tap your shoulder. Everyone looking to see who it was.

You turned around and locked eyes with Issei Hyoudou. You noticed that there was a drop of sweat going down the side of his head, implying that he was nervous about something.

Y/N: Oh hey. You're Issei, right? Need something?

Issei: Uh...Yeah...I wanted to ask...

He hesitated to ask his question as he watched you gobble down an apple in one bite. Clenching his fist, he manned up and spoke.

Issei: Will you please fight me?!

Everyone around the table including you went completely wide eyed upon hearing his request. Seeing the look in his eyes, it was clear he wanted more than simple sparring. He wanted a genuine fight from you.

Y/N: You wanna fight with me...?! Why?

Issei: From what we've seen during the past few days, it's obvious that you're an amazing fighter, and a powerful one too...I need to get stronger, and my Master told me that you were my best chance at doing that...so please, will you fight me, Y/N...?

He took a quick bow and put his hands together while doing so. You looked at everyone else around the table, there were nothing but looks of shock all around.

Y/N: Sure, man. Like I said before, I could never turn down a challenge! Meet me outside in an hour!

Issei: Alright!

He then walked away as everyone around you remained silent. Kirishima couldn't help but get a little excited. He heard that Issei had some sort of mysterious power.

Kirishima: Dude, did he just challenge you to a real fight?!

Y/N: I think he did!

Yang: Aw man...and here I was hoping for a new gym partner...

Y/N: I mean, we can still do that later.

You then for up from your seat and stretched a little before speaking again, a few of your bones could be heard cracking as you did so.

Y/N: Well...better get ready for this fight...I really wasn't expecting this today.

With that you walked away as Ruby leaned over to her sister and whispered to her.

Ruby: We've gotta tell everyone...! This'll be fun to watch...!!

Time Skip

After some warming up, you were now outside by the front of the school, and surely enough, Issei was out there waiting for you.

You slowly walked over to him and stood roughly 15 feet away from him. The two of you staring each other down as students began to gather around in the distance.

The word had quickly spread that You and Issei were going to fight. Everybody had heard rumors of Issei's unique power, and they had already seen first hand that you were an exceptionally talented fighter.

Y/N: Hope I didn't keep you waiting for too long.

Issei: Heh...I was a little nervous at first, but seeing all these people here...it's getting me pumped up!

Suddenly Issei's hand began to glow, appearing on said hand was a red gauntlet with green gems imbedded into it. With one green shine, you heard a masculine voice shout.

BOOST!

Y/N: A Gauntlet? I'm gonna assume that's your weapon.

Issei: I guess it is in a way...you ready for this?

Y/N: Heh! Ready when you are!

As the two of you prepared for battle, the other students watching began to discuss their bets. Not many had seen what Issei was truly capable of, but then again, they hadn't seen what you were truly capable of either.

Midoriya: Y/N and Issei in a head to head battle...we all saw that Y/N is a skilled martial artist, and he has the raw strength to go with it. According to Kacchan, he can also use blast attacks...

Ruby: I partnered up with him back in the Forest. He can Boost his own power and use it to fight. We didn't run into that many Grimm though, so we didn't fight too much.

Rias: Not a bad summary, but he can do more than just boost his power. Issei can also store that stacked power and transfer it to others. But in a one on one fight like this, he's best off using whatever power he stores up for himself. It's called The Boosted Gear.

BOOST!

Hearing Issei's Gauntlet shout again, you figured it was time to begin. Getting into a battle stance and smiled. Issei returning the gesture and bracing himself for a fierce battle.

Y/N: Come on!

Issei: Heh! Here I come!!

BOOST!

As Issei began running towards you, you noticed that every time his Gauntlet would "Boost", his battle power would increase. Almost like it was stacking.

Issei then threw a punch that you could predict from a mile away. Quickly responding by blocking the blow with your forearm.

He then went for another punch to which you swiped it away and knocked him back with a palm attack. Similar to how you did to Kirishima when you sparred with him.

Only Issei didn't recover as well as Kirishima did. Stumbling over and falling on his bottom.

BOOST!

Y/N: I can already tell that your fighting style needs work. I can easily predict your attacks.

Issei: Ugh...should've known...those moves you were showing the other day were freakin' nuts...

Y/N: Like I told Kirishima, turning your entire body with your punches makes them a lot more powerful and easier to manage.

Issei then got up from the ground and clenched his fist again. Looking at his Gauntlet. It was clear that in terms of fighting skill, he was greatly outmatched.

However that wasn't going to stop him from giving it his all.

BOOST!

Issei: Alright, thanks for the tip!

As the battle went on, Issei's energy kept rising. Roughly every ten seconds or so. As he leaped into the air, you noticed that he was a little faster than before.

A small orb of red energy then formed in front of Issei's hand, as he clenched his fist once again, he punched the small orb, resulting in a small beam of red energy to be shot at you at alarming speeds.

Issei: Have some of this! DRAGON SHOT!

With widened eyes, you raised your forearm again and deflected the blast with it. The beam bounced off of your arm and created an explosion in the distance as everyone else watched in awe.

As Issei landed back on the ground, he was surprised that you were able to deflect his Dragon Shot that easily.

BOOST!

Issei: You're freaking kidding me...!! Just how tough is this guy...?!

Y/N: Not bad! I honestly wasn't expecting an energy blast like that!

Issei: I appreciate the compliment, but I can tell that you're still taking it easy on me...don't hold back! I can't get stronger if you're not taking this seriously!

Y/N: This guy's really hellbent on getting stronger...I guess I can relate. Looks like we're alike in that way.

Issei: I want you to fight me as if you're fighting a threat! Because I'm not gonna hold back on you!

BOOST!

You looked at your hand as you balled it up into a fist. You saw a lot of yourself in this guy. Both of you wanted to become stronger, and you remembered the feeling of wanting Goku and Vegeta to take you seriously. Albeit with slight hesitation, you complied with his request.

Y/N: ...Alright, but just remember that you asked for this.

Issei: Hm!

All of a sudden you dashed towards Issei at speeds he could barely process, he then received a right hook straight into his face as you sent him flying into the distance.

A white aura bursted from your body as you raced after him. Eventually passing him and grabbing him by the arm.

You began to go higher into the air as you spun Issei around like a ragdoll. Eventually letting him go and throwing him towards the ground.

Everyone watched as Issei's body smashed into the ground with heavy force. Creating a small crater as he lied still in the middle of it.

BOOST!

Y/N: Get ready for this, Issei!!

As Issei slowly picked himself up from the ground, he looked up to see you charging up a large attack. It was the same technique you attempted to use against Bakugo and Pyrrha before being interrupted by The Professor

Y/N: KA...ME...HA...ME...

BOOST!

As you kept charging up, Bakugo and Pyrrha were too familiar with the stance you had taken. Bakugo growing angry just by seeing it.

Bakugo: Tch...that move again...

While they've seen you charge it up, they hadn't actually seen you fire the attack, but that was about to change as you threw your cupped hands forward and fired.

Y/N: HAAAAA!!!

Upon thrusting your palms forward, you unleashed a massive wave of blue energy that was now headed straight for Issei.

Everyone looked with shock upon the display of your attack. Issei, covered in scratches and bruises, prepared another Dragon Shot. Creating a slightly bigger orb of red energy and launching it towards you.

Issei: HAAAA!!!

This beam was much bigger than his last one, and definitely more powerful. In the blink of an eye, a Beam Struggle would quickly commence.

The wind pressure created from the 2 attacks colliding nearly blew the other students away. Meanwhile on the roof of the Academy, Professor Nikadai watched the entire thing go down with his arms crossed.

Professor Nikadai: Hm...as a Teacher...I should be stopping this...but I'm simply too curious to see how this plays out. The Humble Saiyan Warrior and The Red Dragon Emperor...who will come out on top?

As the Beam Struggle carried on, the other students could barely believe their eyes. It was very rare that most of them got to see a fight of this scale.

Midoriya: What's happening?!

Akeno: Those two might blow away the academy at this rate!

Rias: Maybe so...but an experience like this is just what Issei needs to push past his limits.

As they kept watching, it was blatantly clear that Issei was struggling more than you. Your Kamehameha Wave slowly overtaking his Dragon Shot.

The sheer pressure being out on Issei was enough to start physically pushing him back. His feet beginning to burrow into the dirt as you pushed him further.

Issei: He's every bit of strong that I expected him to be...!! But I have to keep fighting! I won't stop here!! Red Dragon...if you can hear me...lend me your power...!!

At that moment, Issei's Gauntlet began to glow once again. His entire body gaining a bright red aura as the voice in his Gauntlet spoke once again.

WELSH DRAGON: OVER-BOOSTER!!

All of a sudden, Issei's entire body was equipped with a strange Red Armor that was the same Crimson shade of red as Blood itself. A Great Power was beginning to emerge from deep within.

BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST!

Y/N: Huh?!

A massive spike in power had erupted in Issei, seemingly from out of nowhere. His beam suddenly quickly overtaking yours as you found yourself being overwhelmed.

Y/N: Shit...!! I didn't think I would have to use this...

As you began to power up, a fierce red aura suddenly bursted from your body. Undergoing a power up of your own, you then shouted at the top of your lungs.

Y/N: KAIOKEN!!!

At this point the two beams were constantly going back and forth at a rapid rate. Eventually resulting in both blasts combusting in a massive explosion that blinded everyone.

Kirishima: HOLY CRAP...!!

Midoriya: THAT'S SOME CRAZY POWER...!!

Eventually the explosion had settled, and amongst the dust and smoke, the two of you stood. Facing each other after kicking things into a higher gear.

You were now getting a good look at this new Armor that Issei had summoned, and Issei was getting a good look at the red aura that swirled around your entire body.

Y/N: That's it! Let's keep going! Now I'll show you the Kaioken!!

Issei: Agreed! Now you'll see what The Balance Breaker can do!!

As both of you got into your fighting stances, everyone else watched in pure awe as the two of you leaped and lunged towards one another. It was time for a rumble between two sacred crimson powers.
