Where we last left off, you had participated in your first ever training lesson at Rift Academy. Not only that, but you had made a new friend in the process.

A day has passed, and it was now time to start the day yet again. You had woken up roughly half an hour earlier than yesterday and had decided to go outside for a breath of fresh air.

Outside

You were currently standing on the roof of the school, watching the sun come up. As it slowly began to rise into the sky, you wondered how Goku, Vegeta, and all of the others back in your Universe were doing.

Y/N: *Sigh*...how did this happen...?

???: What are you doing up so early, L/N?

Hearing a female voice behind you, you turned around to see one of your new classmates standing a few feet away.

She had crimson red hair, and bright blue eyes that complimented it. You had seen her a few times during class and training, but you hadn't actually spoken with her.

Y/N: I uh...what?

???: L/N. That's your name, right?

Y/N: Yeah...it's just weird hearing someone call me by my last name. You can just call me Y/N if that's cool with you. I don't think I caught your name.

???: I'm Rias Gremory. You might have seen a few of my servants fighting during training yesterday.

Y/N: Huh...? "Servants...?"

Rias: I assure you it's not what you think. They may technically be servants, but I see them more as my family than anything else.

Y/N: Uhh...Alright then. This girl's weird...

She then walked over and stood next to you, watching the sunrise as well. It wasn't long before she spoke again.

Rias: So...could you not sleep?

Y/N: O-Oh! No, it's not that I didn't sleep, I just woke up a little earlier than usual. I'm still processing this whole...situation.

Rias: I see. I actually wanted to ask you something.

Y/N: Shoot.

Rias: Professor Nikadai seems to like you a lot. And if what I saw was right, then you were the first out of all of us to appear here. Am I wrong?

Y/N: You're right.

Rias: So do you know what's going on? Why he's gathered us here? I fail to see what The Professor would gain out of this...training people from different worlds...

Y/N: To be honest, No. I showed up here because I was blasted here by my mentors. We were fighting in some training of our own and we might have taken it a little too far. I ended up landing here and shortly after, The Professor showed up. Then he summoned all of you.

Rias: So you weren't originally supposed to be here.

Y/N: I don't think so.

At this point, the sun had come all the way up, and now it was time to head to the Cafeteria for breakfast. Rias began to walk away as you kept looking into the distance.

Rias: Well, Thank You for the chat.

Y/N: No problem...I guess...that was weird.

Time Skip: Unknown Location

After eating a hearty breakfast that consisted of 30 dishes, Professor Nikadai had gathered the students and brought them out into the forest.

Everyone stood towards the end of a cliffside as Professor Nikadai proceeded to explain what would be happening.

Professor Nikadai: I hope you all had your fill on Breakfast, because now it's time for your initiation.

Kirishima: Huh...? I thought yesterday's training was our initiation...

Y/N: I think he's about to explain...

Professor Nikadai: Now...down in that Forest lurks dangerous entities that some of you may be familiar with. Your task will be to survive in the Forest until sunrise tomorrow.

Ruby: This is kinda like what we did back at Beacon...WAIT DID YOU SAY SURVIVE THE NIGHT?!

Midoriya: Sir, with all due respect, it's only the second day! I don't think we're ready for whatever is down there...!

Issei: He's right! We've barely even adjusted and now you want us to do this?!

Professor Nikadai: Now Now, calm down. Your lives are not in danger. I will be observing the entire thing. While you're down there, you will form teams of 2-4 with the first people you come into contact with. That being said, this isn't only a matter of survival, but you also must face other teams in combat if you should encounter each other.

Y/N: So you want us to form teams...then fight other teams...plus whatever else is down there...and we have to last until tomorrow morning...

Professor Nikadai: Precisely, Y/N. Your training begins now.

With that snap of his fingers, every student had been warped into the Forest at random. Everyone was gone in an instant.

Professor Nikadai: Good luck, Students. You might need it.

Meanwhile

You had just been warped in a random part of the Forest. Looking around and checking your surroundings, there were obviously nothing but trees as far as the eye could see.

Y/N: Man...I just wish we could be on the same page...

Not wasting any time, you then proceeded to traverse through the wilderness. Hoping you would run into a few allies.

You jumped and skipped past dozens of trees but you hadn't seen a trace of any of your classmates. You were beginning to wonder how far you were from each other.

Eventually you heard the sounds of leaves moving around more than usual. Something was here. You stopped in your tracks and looked towards the direction where the noise came from.

Y/N: Who's there?! Friend of Foe?!

Emerging from the bush came a large bear like creature that was over three times your size. What you assumed was its fur was pitch black, and it had bone like appendages all over its body.

Y/N: Oh man...what in the world are you...?!

Without hesitation, the hulking creature flexed its claw and swung at you. You quickly sidestepped and dodged the attack. You were currently more interested in observing the creature rather than fighting it.

Y/N: I've never seen a creature like you before! For a wild animal you sure look scary...

The creature then swiped at you again. This time you blocked the attack with your forearm. Then you pushed its claw away with the same arm, causing the creature to stagger back.

You were about to finish the creature off when suddenly a large black claw appeared out of nowhere and slashed the creature.

This sudden attack caused it to roll over, exposing its stomach area. It was wide open.

Taking advantage of this, you leaped into the air and came right back down with your foot raised up. Landing a heavy hammer kick to the creature's abdomen.

The kick was powerful enough to create cracks in the ground underneath the beast as it then evaporated into black smoke.

You then looked to your right to see what you hopped to be an ally. A boy with the head of a bird stood before you. He wore a black cloak and along with him was a shadowy creature that seemed to be attached to him.

???: It looks like we've found our first ally.

Y/N: Hey, Thanks for the assist!

???: Don't mention it. I believe this makes us teammates. My name is Fumikage Tokoyami.

Y/N: Y/N L/N. Nice to meet you. Let's get a move on.

Tokoyami merely nodded his head as the two of you were about to move forward, however before you could you both heard an explosion go off nearby.

You and Tokoyami looked at each other before you spoke.

Y/N: You wanna check it out?

Tokoyami merely nodded his head before the two of you pressed on. Eventually you saw another one of those bear like creatures in the distance.

You were about to attack it when a massive bolt of lightning zapped it out of nowhere, a large explosion followed.

At this point the creature was obviously dead. You and Tokoyami then watched as a girl slowly descended from the sky. She had long black hair and purple eyes, with an...unusual look on her face.

Tokoyami: Akeno Himejima of Kuoh Academy.

Akeno: So you know me? You're Tokoyami right? Quite a pleasure to be meeting you.

She then looked at you, the strange look on her face not changing as she peered into your eyes.

Akeno: And you're Y/N. I remember you, how could I not? Your performance yesterday was very impressive~

Y/N: Thanks! But maybe we should save the introductions for when we're somewhere a little safer.

Tokoyami: Look.

You and Akeno heading Tokoyami's word, looked into the distance to see a large amount of those creatures. However one of them resembled bears.

The entire horde began to charge towards all of you with malicious intent. Yellow Sparks began to surge from Akeno's hand and two large claws popped out from Tokoyami's back upon seeing this.

Tokoyami: This could be troublesome.

You then stepped forward with a serious look on your face. A white aura erupting out of your body as both Tokoyami and Akeno were both shocked at the sight.

Y/N: Let's go!
