Chapter 10: A Husk

Y/N: It's been quite some time, Zalion. I haven't seen you since the battle against Ark.

Zalion: I know. I just haven't been able to see you since I've been training.

You were now face to face with your older brother. The first thing you noticed about him was that he looked very different in comparison to the last time you saw him.

Y/N: So what gives? Over six years pass by and you decide to show your face now. Something must be up.

Zalion: Obviously. You managed to access our home world. All of the Celestials have been coming home ever since you broke the seal between this Realm and the others.

Y/N: Yeah. That explains how you managed to get here.

Zalion. So you know that any Celestial can freely enter or exit this realm once the seal is broken by the king.

Y/N: Yeah. It was kinda sudden. Anyway, how's Dad?

Zalion: He's alright. Teigri has been keeping him very busy. Speaking of Teigri, I figured you should know that...well...she's not our actual mother.

Y/N: I'm aware.

Zalion: I know it may be a lot to take in but—wait...what?! you're aware...? How...?

Y/N: It's a long story, but our Mother in a way saved my life. And she apparently gifted me with the ability to resist erasure.

Zalion: *Sigh*...of course she did...

Y/N: Actually...while you're here, can I ask you to do me a favour?

Zalion: Depends on what it is.

Y/N: Recently there's been something on my mind. Something I want to check out. I was hoping you would be able to watch over this place while I'm gone?

Zalion: Hm. Sure. That's simple enough. But don't take too long.

Y/N: Sure thing.

With that you walked off and leaped into the sky. Disappearing in a flash of light in an instant. Zalion simply sighed as he barely got to talk with you before you simply ran off.

Time Skip: First Reality

You were now just arriving in The First Reality. In fact, it was a familiar area of The First Reality as well. It was currently nighttime, no lights in sight, not a sound to be heard besides the sounds you made. It was also very cold.

What lied before you was an academy. But not just any academy, the very first one that you went into even before you knew that "The Professor" was actually The Grand Priest.

It was believed to be destroyed at the hands of Majin Buu with Jiren Absorbed. There wasn't much left of it, but you were under the assumption that it was blasted to smithereens.

Apparently that was not the case. A solid quarter of the building remained. However with the condition that it was in, it was probably better off as a pile of rubble like the rest of it.

All of the windows were broken, grass and other forms of plant life had grown and spilled over the fences and sidewalks. You could barely even see the concrete anymore.

Y/N: Is this seriously the same place...?

With that you decided to check out what was left of The Academy. Luckily there was an opened door in that part of the academy, allowing you to simply walk in.

Y/N: Wow...despite this whole place being in ruins, I can still feel our younger selves' essences echoing through the halls...

As you advanced further into the Academy, you passed by the room you spent the most time in during your stay here. The Ballroom.

You could barely believe it. After all this time, after everything that's happened, The Ballroom had survived the test of time.

However The Ballroom obviously didn't look the same. It was much darker due to the lack of electricity. There was still a huge hole in the wall from the time you knocked both Issei and Vali outside when they challenged you to a battle.

A few sleeping bags were still on the floor. Some of them were soaked, some were torn up. However there was one sleeping bag out of the bunch that remained untouched, and due to what was on top of it, you knew who it belonged to.

Resting on top of the sleeping bag was a notebook. However the Notebook wasn't exactly in as good of a condition than the sleeping bag.

Y/N: It's one of Deku's note books...he told me that Bakugo burned up one of them before we met. This must be it.

Opening up the notebook, you were surprised to see that you could read through a vast majority of Deku's notes. He had studied a bunch of heroes that you had never even seen before.

"Death Arms", "Kamui Woods", "Mt. Lady", all of them were in here. A few of these heroes you had heard were mentioned by some of the UA students, but you had never actually seen them in person before.

You decided to keep it on you since you wanted to give it back to him the next time you saw him. This whole place despite carrying a special place in your heart, gave you the creeps.

Y/N: I guess Buu wasn't that good at blowing things up after all.

With that you left The Ballroom and decided to explode a little bit more before you went back to the Celestial Realm.

Eye-Catch

Eye-Catch

Looking outside through one of the many holes in the walls, you also spotted something that instantly grabbed your attention.

It was a tree in the Center of what little was left of the courtyard. It used to be a beautiful Sakura Tree, but now it was dead and leafless. But there was something special about this tree. It was apart of one of your most treasured me memories.

Y/N: This is where Koneko and Blake confessed to me all those years ago...

Placing your hand upon the tree, you looked at the ground with a wee bit of sorrow dwelling in your heart.

Y/N: Here. Let me make you beautiful again.

With that you slowly closed your eyes. Sharing a tiny bit of your celestial energy and feeding it to the dead tree.

Slowly, The Tree started to grow tall once again, leaves blossoming in the branches. However unlike before where the cherry blossoms were pink, now they were glowing a majestic shade of blue, the tree flowing with Celestial Power that gifted it new life.

Y/N: Here's to a fresh start for you. Thanks for the memories...

Shortly enough, all of the grass and other plants within the Academy's radius also started to turn blue like the tree. It was no longer a Sakura Tree. You had transformed it into a Celestial Tree.

You learned about Celestial trees and how to create them during your time at The Celestial Temple. Celestial Trees provide an Infinite amount of energy that it can share with whatever comes in contact with it. It becomes somewhat of a resting place for all types of creatures.

It's basically a recharging station, but for organic life forms. And this whole area was now overflowing with the energy you had graciously shared.

Now this place had a whole new feel to it. After everything that has happened, this place could finally live on in peace again.

Animals will be able to populate the area once more, travellers will be safe here to rest, and it will be a terrific place to bring the family here for a visit again someday.

Just thinking about your family here was causing some good memories to come flowing back to you. The mental images of Blake and Koneko flashed into your mind as a smile slowly spread across your face.

Blake...

Koneko...

Y/N: I hope you know that I do remember that day, and I'll never forget it...

With that you looked around at your surroundings. Satisfied at the result, it was now time to go. As much as you wanted to stay some more, your brother was waiting for you back in The Celestial Realm, and you didn't want to keep him waiting any longer.

With that you started hovering in the air, eventually warping to the next realm in a flash of light. Hopefully the wildlife and any people left on that planet come across the new landmark you had just created one day.

Time Skip: Celestial Realm

Zalion was still waiting, and his patience was wavering. However he didn't have to wait any longer, because he then noticed a flash of light in the sky. Looking up to see you descending towards him.

Zalion: Took you long enough. Did you have fun?

Y/N: Yeah...Yeah actually...

Zalion: Good. So I assume I'm good to take my leave?

Y/N: Yeah. You can go now. Thanks for watching over the place while I was gone.

Zalion: Hey. You may be a pain in my ass sometimes, but you're still my little brother. See you around.

With that Zalion flew off into the sky as you waved him off. He must've made himself comfortable somewhere in The Celestial Realm because he didn't fly away.

You now only had one day left until The Submissions would be completed. Tomorrow you could invite everyone over at HOH and get settled in.

With what you did today, you could rest knowing you did a good thing. Slowly going back to your meditation as you smiled and hummed in peaceful bliss.

Y/N: This way, I can remember everything in a good condition...
