One Week Later, January 24th 2036, Somewhere on the Alaskan Outskirts.

In Alaska it's bone-chilling weather and flaky snow made it irritable for the teenaged Alexandria Ferris. A grim look washed over her dull face as she waited patiently in her room. She and about two hundred mutant kids were placed under this training program. When Mr. Magnum said he could help, Alexandria didn't expect any of this at all. She wondered what her new life living under a training program for however long she needed to-

-to be safe and know how to survive. Right now, Professor Xander is out looking for her, but Alexandria was told that they won't be able to find her and anyone else here for sometime. The only way that you'll be found by Xander was if you let him know you're here. That's why this building has many stories underground. Secretly built by a secret government. Alexandria wasn't able to know what that secret government was; so she was left clueless and she didn't like having any unkown information being left out. She was playing with her hair as she paced around and waited for whomever was supposed to come get her.

Her mother was able to get employees as a marketing manager for a nearby toy store. Alexandria was glad that she was able to do something instead of constant tests and studies. She was accepted into the program, but she didn't feel welcomed. All she knew we're numbers and statastical calculations made by scientists in this building. She hasn't met anyone genuinely nice yet and it felt so long since she had talked to someone around her age for a change.

However, it did feel strange that she hadn't had any action for a week. This week went by so fast; she couldn't believe how fast this week had gone. It felt like flying on a jet plane from Ohio to Alaska. On a normal plane it would take a day or two, but Mr. Magnum's Her Plane, took them a few hours to reach Alaska; and they didn't have to worry about any government interference as they traveled. So it was a good flight, but tiring nonetheless. Alexandria doesn't really enjoy heights. She's afraid of them to be honest.

Then the unexpected, knocks came. Alexandria answered her door as she stopped pacing and pulled her finger out of her hair. A blonde haired woman at around fifty or so, she had some wrinkles that burrow into her face and wore a red highly advanced athletic suit with white pin stripes on the side. Her green emerald eyes glared through Alex's.

"Are you Alexandria, Alexandria Ferris?" She asked the teen. Alex nodded; she wasn't so sure what to do. They've only been doing so many tests on her; she wondered if she was going to have to do more testing. She hated the needles to, she didn't like the way they stung; a pain so sharp it felt like you've poked yourself with the end of a knife, but these needles can draw blood, fast too.

"You're pretty quiet. Perhaps you might make it on my whitelist for good behavior." The woman said. There was no name tag, but she also had a strawberry smoothie in her hand and a clipboard in the other.

"My name is Ms. Gordon. I am going to teach you how to use your mutated powers for defense. The basics and what you need to know about how to survive in any and I mean any kind of situation. So without further ado; how 'bout we go have some lunch before we train. A wifflesnapper like you will need some food especially when you'll be going through a long afternoon of training that'll probably make you want to die from the inside out." Gordon smiled, and not just any smile; it was more of a smirk. She led Alexandria down a hallway and stayed close to her, but not too close.

I already don't like this. Thought Alexandria.

"And maybe the first few training sessions will be sprints. Who knows?"

Hope you guys enjoy this chapter. Sorry that it had taken me so long to post. I need some help on character description and character development (backstories mostly, especially through X-Men/Marvel). I've been reading up on superpowers and enjoy the shows, it takes a lot of behind the scenes work to make that perfectly well crafted character with flaws throughout its story!
