~Two~
A pic of Jayde Austin ^^^
It was already a few minutes past nine and the Airborne Wrestling Center was already packed. The cheers of the fans rang through the building. A camera man who was stationed outside the arena had the camera on the truck as Jayde pulled up into the parking lot. The fans who were watching it through the titration were confused as to who was driving a Semi Truck into the Airborne Wrestling Center parking lot.
Jayde had a smirk on her face as she cut off the engine of the truck and climbed out. As soon as the fans saw her coming out of the truck, their cheers rang through the building. With that cocky smirk still on her face she walked into the building with the camera man following her every move until she walked through the double doors of the arena. As soon as she was out of the camera man's sight Jayde couldn't help the goofy smile that appeared on her face. She walked down the long hall way, passing by some staffs and a few wrestlers. Everyone she passed by either gave her friendly smiles or waves, to which she responded with a bright smile. Everyone here was just so friendly and welcoming.
Jayde had been inside the arena a few times before to see the Chairman so she knew her way around. She walked down the long, wide hallway to the brown oak door at the very end with the words 'Micheal Conway, Chairman's Office' imprinted onto it and knocked a few times. She heard a muffled voice on the other side of the door telling her to come in. She twisted the door knob and pushed the door open to reveal the Chairman of PCW Ultra himself sitting on a black leather chair behind an oak desk. A smile graced his face as he watched her walk into the office and closed the door behind her.
"Jayde Austin, a pleasure to meet you again. Please take a seat." He gestured to one of the leather chairs in front of him. Jayde nodded as she took a seat on one of the chairs.
"First of all Mr Conway, thank you so much for inviting me to PCW Ultra to have my very first match. It's a big honour for me. But you didn't tell me who my opponent for tonight is." Jayde said. Jayde knew she was having a match tonight but she didn't know who she was up against. And she really wanted to know just who her opponent was. She wanted to know what to expect.
"First of all, just call me Michael, I'm not that old," His statement making them both chuckle. Michael Conway looked to be in his early forties with dark brown hair and a few white streaks growing here and there. He was fairly tall and had a strong build. He wore a light grey suit that hugged his features. His light blue eyes held curiosity and kindness. He just had this calming aura around him that would make anyone feel comfortable with him. Anyone could tell he was a good man, "Now I wanted to wait till just before your match to tell you but I guess I have to ruin the surprise." He said, making Jayde smile.
"Your opponent for tonight is the PCW Ultra Women's Champion, Tessa Blanchard." Jayde's eyes widened. Tessa Blanchard? As in The Undeniable, Tessa Blanchard. A third generation wrestler. The daughter of Tully Blanchard, an icon, and the step daughter of Magnum T.A. Tessa Blanchard has been on a 105 day winning streak since beating Chelsea Green for the PCW Ultra Women's Championship. And Jayde was having her first match against her. Jayde Austin versus Tessa Blanchard. Two household names. Jayde couldn't be more shocked. Jayde imagined that they would clash at one point in her career but she didn't imagine it this early.
"I know you weren't expecting it but it's a fair challenge right? Think of it this way, if you were to get a win or even a good showing against Tessa, that would be a great launching path this early in your career, don't you think? And plus, this match could bring in more fans with just the names involved. Think about it." He did make a valid point. This match would bring in more fans with just the names involved. Austin and Blanchard. And having a win over someone like Tessa Blanchard would be great way to start off her career. She needed all the opportunities she could get this early in her career. And Tessa was born into this business just like Jayde, and so she knows exactly how to sell a match perfectly. Jayde had watched most of Tessa's matches here and there and to say she was impressed by this woman would be an understatement. There aren't many people in the wrestling world that have the kind of talent when it comes to this business that Tessa has. She knows how to sell matches, she knows the right moves to make and she knows how to make an opponent look good. Wrestling runs in her blood, she lives and breaths this business. And so, having Tessa Blanchard as her opponent this early in her career would be great for her.
"You know what, you're right. Tessa Blanchard has been in this business longer than I have, hell this is my first match. And so, I agree that having Tessa Blanchard as my opponent this early in my career would be great for me." Jayde stated in agreement. Micheal smiled before replying.
"Exactly. Now your match starts in a few minutes, and you haven't even done your makeup yet." Jayde chuckled as Micheal stood to his feet. Micheal led her out of his office and down the hallway, until they stood in front of a brown mahogany door that had the words 'make up and hairdressing' imprint on it. Micheal knocked on the door before pushing it open to reveal a black tiled room with pastel white walls. A rectangular shaped wooden table was placed in the center of the room with four leather chairs surrounding it's corners. The table was covered in make up tools; eyeshadows, eyeliners, blush, lipstick, lipgloss, mascara, moisturizer, you name it. And a big wooden cabinet which was pushed up against the wall, was filled with hairbrushes, hair combs, tweezers, hair clips, hair pins, hair dryers, hair straighteners, you name it. The room was fully stocked with the necessary tools.
A door in the far corner of the room was suddenly pulled up, as a woman walked out. The woman looked to be in her early thirties with long, light blonde hair which was pulled into a low ponytail, bright hazel eyes, smooth light tanned skin, a cute heart shaped face and a tall, curvy physic. She had a straight nose and light pink thin lips. She looked stylish in a red kimono jacket and a black fitted jumpsuit with some combat boots.
"Let me guess, Jayde Austin?" She asked with an expectant smile. Jayde couldn't help the smile that graced her lips, she didn't know she was getting popular already. With a nod of her head, the woman's smile grew wider.
"I am such a big fan of your Dad. I'm Diana Washington." The two shook hands, "Good luck on your match tonight."
"Thanks." Jayde nodded.
"Well Diana, she needs her makeup done for her match tonight." Micheal spoke with an amused smile.
"Say no more, come sit down Jayde." Diana ushers Jayde to sit down on one of the leather chairs, and Jayde did as told. Micheal had walked out of the room at some point as Diana got to work. She first started with the makeup. She used as minimal makeup as possible, as she first started with the face powder in order to bring out the glow of Jayde's milky skin. Then the mascara in order to make her eyelashes a little bit longer. Then the eyeliner in order to make her brown eyes pop. Then a light coat of pink lipgloss, and then finally a light shade of blush on her cheeks.
"And done. What do you think?" Diana said excitedly, as she gave Jayde a mirror. A smile tugged at Jayde's lips as she nodded in approval.
"I love it, you should do my makeup more often." Jayde replied, making Diana chuckle. Diana then got started on her hair, as she ran a hair brush through her soft dark brown hair and finally straightened it out with a hair straightener.
Jayde just couldn't seem to keep that smile off her face. Her first ever match would start in just a few minutes, who wouldn't be excited? She could finally have a chance to carve out her own path, and be her own person. Their couldn't be a better feeling than this.
