A week later-

Bebe& shweta have gone to a satsang& insisted avni to come as well but she wasnt interested much& hence refused
Shweta& bebe also didnt pressurise her& left her while saying that they ll not return b4 evening

Its afternoon &Avni is busy in the kitchen, preparing lunch for neil when suddenly she felt a lil dizzy

Neil arrived home early to give avni a surprise
He plans to tip-toes in the kitchen &hold avni by her waist to surprise her but gets shocked after seeing her holding her head &loose conciousness
Neil(screams)- AVNI!!!
He reaches out to her in nick of tym& holds her by her waist, switches the gas knobs off, picks avni up in bridal style& immediately heads towards their room

In their room-

N- avni wake up!avni plz utho im worried! avni ye achaanak se kya hogya!
Left wid no option, he finally sprinkles few drops of water on her face& she slowly gains conciousness

Avni(in low tone)- neil tumm..tumm kab aye? Aur men toh kitchen men lunch prepare krri thi toh yaha kese ayi-she said, in a low, weak tone while lil surprised as well
N(angrily)- Bilkul khayaal nhi rakh sakti na tum apna? Pata h abhi kya hua? Behosh ho gyi thi tum kitchen men! Men kitna pareshan hogya tha idea h?Tumhe kuch hojata toh?

A(overwhelmed​ by his concern for her)- awww!
N- what aww huh?😒😒😒
A- im sorry plz muje maaf krdo?
N cudnt stay anngry at her puppy face& melted down
He scolded her again& then they shared a tight hug after which neil cooked lunch (he strictly prohibited her to enter d kitchn& just relax& she followed his orders lyk an obidient student)😄😃😆
After lunch they slept off in eachother embrace for 4-5hrs

Later neil woke up& saw d tym-it was 7:30& got shocked for d duration they slept off but instantly forgot everything by one glance@his wifey's face-she was still asleep with her head on his left hand
He smiled seeing her innocent face& that she was sleeping like a baby

Later at night-

Bebe& shweta had returned from satsang &so did prakash from office
They had their dinner wid Normal chit chatting

(AvNeil had decided not to tell anyone the incident in d afternoon so that they didnt take unnecessary stress)
Soon they all went to their rooms& slept off

AvNeil had a romantic chat& then slept off- avnis head rested on neils chest while his left arm was wrapped around her waist

Next morning-

A similar incident took place in AvNeil's room early in morning when neil was off to station& avni was at home
She again felt a lil dizzy& suddenly fell/sat on the bed in a thud but assumed it to be just lil weakness& ignored it
Rest of the day was the usual& so was the night but after dinner as AvNeil reached their room, avni ran into the loo& puked which shocked neil& he ran after her& slowly patted her back while she continued
After a while she washed her face& dried it wid a towel& assured neil that she was ok& after alot of consoling he finally calmed down- tho he was still lil worried but ultimately ignored it

This went on for another 2-3days& didnt go unnoticed by bebe, prakash& shweta
In d evening they informed neil& teased AvNeil of being it the signs of a good news awaiting them which left AvNeil's faces dark pink by blushing

Ignoring everything, he immediately booked an appointment at their known gynaecologist's clinic for next day afternoon which surprised avni
Avni-neil iski koi zrurat nhi h,im absolutely fine
Neil-haa, wo toh dikh hi raha h k how fine u are
N(in firm tone)-we r goint to dr xyz tom afternoon
Avni gave a puppy face but it didnt affect him
Neil-i want no arguments-koi bahana nahi chlega. We r going& its final
Bebe, shweta& prakash agreed& avni finally gave up

Next morning-

It all went fine-everyone had breakfast together &then left for work

In afternoon-

Neil reached home& picked avni, tho she still didnt wanna go but finally gave in& they left for d clinic

At d clinic-
The doc listened to AvNeil carefully& then took avni to a separate room to get few samples by the assistance of her nurse& asked a few personal questions

Soon they came back
Neil- doc i hope theres nothing to worry abt
Doc- not yet& mrs khanna's reports ll be ready by evening & they can come in d evening to collect the same

Neil heived a sigh of relief while avni said-
A- dekha?
Theres nothing serious aur tum khamakha tension lere the- lil did they know what was awaiting them

They reached home& informed everyone abt d same& had d luch wid normal chit chatting

In evening-

Neil went to get the reports which the doc handed over to him with low expressions

He went thru d report after reading which d floor just swept off his feet, the report fell from his hands &he fell to the ground with a thud with silent tears rolling down his eyes

Neil- are u sure doc?
Doc-yes mr khanna
Neil (in a trembling tone)- men ye news avni ko kese dunga? Jab men khud itna bikhar gaya hu toh wo toh buri tarah s toot jayegi

Doc- mr khanna i can totally u/d the turmoil u r going thru& i dont wanna give u any false hopes but just to inform u that these arent the final results- we yet have to recheck on everything as we arent 💯% sure &the final report ll be given to u by next week only- which ll confirm that how much reliable this report was
U ll have to wait for7 days
Saying this she left her cabin, to check on other patients- leaving neil broken& shattered AF

Only he knew how much effort it took for him to compose himself& go back home
He picked d report& left for khanna house

Back@ khanna house-

Everyone waited wid excitement for neil to disclose the result
While bebe& shweta were expecting it to be the news of another neilansh/pilli, avni was worried abt their expectations turning into reality as she wasnt ready for all this

Bebe-puttar bata na kya likha h report men?
This statement of bebe brought a lost neil out of his trance as he was standing there like a lifeless statue

Finally he spoke up-
Bebe aap jesa sochre h vesa kuch nahi h-doc ne kaha h ye sab stress ki wajah s hua h(chutali marrying neil, kasaka drama, kamini plotting against avni) etc-all these thots roamed in avni's mind

Bebe& shweta- oho!
Par koi nahi-shayad ye bhagvan ka ishara h k ab tumhe neilansh k liye ek behen ka arrangement krna chahiye
Hearing this avni turned crimson red while shweta& bebe left, teasing them

Tho avni acted as if she was affected by shweta& Bebe's demands all this while, yet neil's lost& upset face didnt go unnoticed by avni

A-kya hua huh?
N-nahi kuch nahi bas tumhari health ko leke tensed hu(tho he never wanted to, but he had to hide such a big truth from her)& he avoided an eye contact which was enuf to signal avni that something is very much fishy& she decided to get the truth out of neil,no matter what
A-muje pata h k tum jhoot bolre ho/mujse kuch chupa rhe ho
N-nahi toh
A-toh phir muje wo report dekhne do
As soon as avni tried to get hold of d file,neil picked it up& refused to give it to her& made stupid excuses
All this made her doubt evenmore firm& she decided to snatch d file from neil when he suddenly screamed out-
N-enough avni! Stop behaving like a child
This reaction of neil left her shocked
They did have such types of screaming earlier as well but this tym it wasnt just anger/argument- it was way beyond

A(politely)- kya hua h neil? Tum kyu itne gussa ho& muje report bhi nahi padne dere ho?
Kya bebe& mummyji ka doubt sach h?
Am i pregnant?
These words instantly alamed neil& he cudnt hold himself anymore
He hugged her tightly & broke down into unlimited stream of tears which left avni surprised
A-sshhh calm down neil& batao muje
Kya men pregnant hu?
Agar tum ready nahi ho toh its absolutely ok
Humne recently decide kiA tha na-hum dusra baccha tab tak plan nhi krenge jabtak dono ready na ho
Neil moved his face up& looked into her eyes thinking that how ll he break the news to him while she was still confused& was asking him questions

Finally neil locked their room from inside& spoke up-

N(in a broken tone)- avni,ab jo men tume btane wala hu usse tum toot jaogi jese men toot gya tha report padne k baad
A(worried)- aisa kya likha h report men neil?
N(stammering& blabbering)- avni report k acc tumhe...tumhe..
A-muje kya neil?
N- tumhe lung cancer h

The news fell on avni like a nuclear bomb& broke her inside-out
She wasnt in the state to move when suddenly neil kept his hand on her shoulder& she had tears on her eyelashes who were on the verge of spilling down her eyes which happened& she hugged neil tightly in her embrace while both were sobbing unconsolably

A-humare saath hi aisa kyu hota h neil? itni mushkil s sabkuch normal hua tha&ab ye sab?
she again started crying
He took her in a bone crushing hug, expecting that she might feel a lil better

They kept their hug intact when neil said-
N- doc also states that these arent the final results& that they still have to recheck on all the results as they arent sure of it really being breast cancer or not which ll take another week

So this one went wayyy too long hence ive decided to divide the story in another part- part3
