It was finally the end of the year. I felt upset as I realised I wouldn't be seeing Lyssa and Naddie for the holidays cause of my dad. I, by the way, was gonna grit the information outta him. What was his plan???!! I was going mad already and still had one day left!

"Zo? You in there?" Lyssa called. "I... I'm here, come in." I said quietly. They entered and slammed the door shut. "What happened?! Why weren't you at lunch Zo?!" Nadia said indignantly. I... Lost it.

"IT'S CAUSE MY DAD WON'T ALLOW ME TO VISIT YOU AND THEN I'LL MISS OUT ON THE FUN Y'ALL HAVE AND I'LL MISS YOU!! GOT IT NADIA? HAPPY NOW? HUH?!"

"No." Nadia whispered. "That doesn't make me happy." Alyssa was the second most hot headed one (I was first cause I tended to loose it at times) and said, "ZOEY CARANDIS! HOW THE-" She was muffled by Nadia. "Quiet!" I sat down. Alyssa smacked me. I turned to glare at her. "Snap out of it!" She ordered. "Huh?" I realized what I had said, and my eyes widened.

"Oh my gods, I'm so, so sor-" "Zoey. It's okay. I'm fine." Naddie said softly. I couldn't help it. I felt so guilty. "It's not okay! I'm... I'm a horrible friend!" I ran out, tears clouding my vision. I was so stupid! Suddenly I banged into someone. "Ow!" I yelped, my voice an octave higher. "Sorry! Are you okay... Carandis??!"

I looked up in surprise. "Alex Frendel?" He offered me his hand. I took it and he pulled me up. "Thanks." I mumbled. "What was that?" He teased. "Thanks!" I yelled. He stepped back. I smirked. "Um. You're crying, are you..." "Of course I am, I'm just crying for fun! Because crying and getting a headache is so much fun." I said sarcastically. You know what I meant." Came his response. "I fuc-" "LANGUAGE!" Alex yelled, causing me to roll my eyes. "I messed up good."

"Ohh. Friend trouble." He said knowingly. "Yeah." "WELL WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE? GO BACK TO YOUR FRIENDS!" He yelled. I laughed and walked forward. Before I left, I turned to Alex and said, "I owe you one Frendel." "You better remember it for the rest of your life." He said, winking.

I went back to the dorm. I entered quietly and saw Naddie and Lyssa. Naddie was crying while Lyssa tried to comfort her, but had tears rolling down her cheeks too. "Er... Guys?" I said. They looked up. There was a quiet silence. Then Naddie spoke. "Is this you or a boggart?" Which caused me to look at her quizzically. She burst out laughing. "It's Zoey!"

Lyssa just stood up and slapped me. I glared at her. "You deserved that." She replied, to which I sighed, "Yeah, I guess I did." And smiled at her. She grinned back and squished me and Naddie in a huge hug. "Never do that again Zo!" Naddie whispered. "Never. I promise." I whispered back to my best friends.
