Hogwarts. I had never imagined I would be here, to walk down its corridors, to just be here! I was extremely excited.

Well, then I found out Daniel was coming, too.

We had met over the summer. My family was all muggles, they didn't believe in magic. They thought I was off at some boarding school. Daniel, he came from a pureblood family. My parents just thought they were strange. Crazy people.

They told me about how wizards and witches were real. That I possessed the same power.
Of course, at first I thought it all was bullshit.

Until I stole Daniel's wand, and tried the Leviosa trick.

I believe them now, that's for sure.

Anyway, they paid for all my books, cauldron, broom, everything.

It was time to be sorted, and we walked into the Great Hall.

I saw two girls who looked like great friends.

I was at the back of the line to be sorted, so I introduced myself.

"Hi. I'm Anastasia." I said.

We chatted a little. Me being from a muggle family, I had no idea what Quidditch was. They explained it to me, as well as how the sorting works.

I was a little concerned.

My name was called.

"Anastasia Redmond!"

I walked up to the Sorting Hat. It was placed on my head. It asked me what house I wanted to be in.

I don't care. As long as I make real friends.

"GRYFFINDOR!" It shouted.

I blinked. Okay....

I went over to the Gryffindor table.

"Daniel Barren!"

Daniel walked up. The Sorting Hat was placed on his head.

"GRYFFINDOR!"

Shit. Daniel, grinning, came over and sat next to me.

"Looks like you get to put up with me throughout all of Hogwarts!" He jeered.

I groaned.

It was morning. I shot up out of bed, and went down to the Great Hall to eat.

At my table, I stacked my plate as high as humanly possible. I walked over to where Zoey and Nadia were talking.

"Hi!" I said. Daniel sat down near me.

"You can't be here!" He said.

"Um, then why am I?" I responded before shoving pancakes down my throat.

He opened his mouth, then closed it.

"Anyway, I introduced myself already. This is Daniel." I said.

Daniel forced a grin.

"C'mon, Anya, let's go."

"You're just jealous that I have friends!"

Daniel's eye twitched.

"No. I'm not. We can't be here, let's go!"

I rolled my eyes.

"No. You can go. I'm staying here."

Daniel left, and it was just me and my two new friends.

Okay, I'm sorry this sucks. It's my first time doing Harry Potter, and I kinda forget the storyline. I actually forgot the ships! What's wrong with me?!
