Several days have passed and now Daniel was coming out of a local shop, it was after school so he got some snacks with his pocket money. Now he was about to head home when he felt someone tapping him on the shoulder. When he turned he saw Rowdy standing not too far away from him, his human disguise was on so he didn't stand out. As soon as Daniel saw Rowdy his face heated up intensely and his heart punching his ribcage.

"U-Um... hey Rowdy what brings you into the city?" Daniel asked nervously.

Rowdy started writing something down on a sheet of paper, once he was done he showed the note to Daniel. It said "I came to find the Rainbow Squads as Iris isnt well and she could use some emotional support form her friends."

After reading it Daniel felt a little disappointed that Rowdy wasn't there for him but for his sister and her friends. Daniel felt his heart ache at this, but he didn't fully understand why he was feeling that way. However he shook the feeling away as Iris was unwell and wanted her friends so he decided to think about the feeling later.

So he said "Alright just follow me and I'll take you to my place."

Rowdy nodded and the two boys headed to Daniel's place to chat with Hannah and hopefully her friends. It took them a while but they soon arrived at the house, Daniel walked up to the door and opened it and let Rowdy go first. Rowdy smiled and walked past Daniel, Daniel smiled back at this before heading inside himself.

However when the two boys went in, they saw that Hannah wasn't inside the house. The house only heald Daniel's mom, but not his younger sisters or dad. Thankfully Dan knew that his dad was just out at work, but he wondered where his little sisters were.

"Hey mom!" Daniel called out to his mother.

His mom looked over to her son from the kitchen, as she was washing dishes. "Oh hey Dan, whos your friend here?" His mom asked as she noticed Rowdy standing next to Daniel.

"Oh um, this is Rowdy, he's a friend of Iris who's in town for a bit!" Daniel blurted out, making up an excuse.

Rowdy nodded agreeing with the explanation, he also smiled and waved at Dan's mother. "Well then, hello Rowdy, I'm Scarlet, it's nice to meet you." Scarlet greeted, with a warm smile.

Rowdy returned the smile and signed, *It's nice to meet you as well.*

Scarlet looked confused as to her Rowdy was just moving his hands in a strange way, as she didn't understand sign language herself.

"Oh, Rowdy can't talk, he's mute so he uses sign language to communicate." Daniel explained.

"Ah, okay well, I hope whatever you said was nothing but kind." Scarlet explained.

"I'm sure it was, but mom, where's Hannah and Lily?" Daniel asked.

"Your sisters? Their both at a friends place, Hannah's at Jakes, and Lily's at her friend Clover I believe?" Scarlet explained, trying to remember where her daughters were.

"Thanks mom, I'll see you around." Daniel said before leaving the house with Rowdy in tow.

Thankfully they didn't have to go far as Jake just lived about two or three houses down from theirs. So they just walked for about a minute or so before reaching the light green painted house with a black insulate roof to keep the heat in during the cold months.

Daniel knocked on the door lightly, he then heard a muffled voice he couldn't make out say, "come in!"

So he cautiously opened the door, as he didn't want to be jumped by Jake's younger brothers. Thankfully all he saw was just Jake, Hannah, and all their friends in the living room playing a game on the TV. There were two pizza boxes and other kinds of junk food on the table and a bit on the floor.

"Oh hey bro, what brought you here, with Rowdy?" Hannah asked, confused when she saw that Rowdy was with her brother.

"Um, Rowdy told me he needed to speak to you all." Daniel explained.

"What about?" Lila asked with a bit of pizza hanging out of her mouth.

"He told me it was about Iris." Daniel explained.

When the Squads all heard that, they got worried about their friend, as they had noticed something was off.

"We were wondering about her, she hadn't been in school for the last few days." Jane explained.

"Well from what Rowdy had told me it makes sense why she wouldn't be in school right now." Daniel explained while looking at Rowdy.

Rowdy then began to sign *Yeah, Iris has come down with a case of color Pox, so Apollo asked me to tell you all so you could come and give her support. Don't worry it's not contagious so none of you will get sick, it's just an illness that happens to a member of the royal family when they've reached a certain age. Apollo says that it's a sign that Iris is going thru Rainbowitey so she's gonna catch this once a year till she's an adult.* While Rowdy was signing Ed was translating so everyone knew what he was saying.

"Huh? Rainbowitey, we've got something similar to that on earth, but it's different for humans, especially woman." Jane groaned out as she thought about what they got and how it affected women.

"Well let's get going, and see how Iris is doing." Lila declared, as she both wanted to see her friend and secretly wanted to see Marry again.

The others all agreed, so they got up, passed the game and turned the TV off, and cleaned up the mess they made on the floor. Once everything was cleaned up they left and went to Iris's place to cheek up on her.

Meanwhile in the shadow realm John and Jack were in John's room making more creations for their fight with the rainbow Squads. As Jack was working a magazine he collected from earth caught his attention. He decided to take a break and look through the magazine.

So he put down a puppet he was working on and picked up the magazine, then started looking through it. As he did he noticed something in it that caught his attention. It was a gay couple hugging one another in an advertisement showing a new pride brand. When Jack saw this he felt disgusted by it as he could never understand how humans could have feelings for those whose gender was the same.

"Ugh! Brother I can't understand humans at times." Jack commented.

"Why do you say that?" John was curious by his brother's sudden comment.

"Well there's this photo in this magazine where two men are embracing. I can't understand how two humans of the same gender can fall in love." Jack explained.

"Oh, I can't understand that either. Hmm, hey you wanna go to earth and have some 'fun'?" John asked.

"Sure why not? I'm board here and I want to have some fun!" Jack exclaimed.

"Alright, let's collect our things and get going! I'm ready to have some fun and practice with my new hate bullets!" John declared.

Jack smiled and collected his puppets so he could test them out as well. He also put a little hate inside of them as well, he hoped that this would increase their abilities. He was excited to see what they could do with the hate he put inside of them. The two brothers collected all their things and now they were ready to head to earth and make their presence known. They also hoped that they could take out the Rainbow Squads this time. While they haven't been successful, they hoped that with the help of their powered up items they'll be the ones who will be victorious in battle.

Back on earth, at Iris's place, The Rainbow Squads had arrived at Iris's place and were checking up on everyone before they went to Iris's room.

"Hey Melody, how have you been?" Josh asked, his new girlfriend.

"I've been doing great! But I have missed you Josh! I never knew how much fun I could have till i meet you!" Melody explained cheerfully, showing how happy she was to be with Josh.

"hehe, thanks I do love to make others happy, it's my passion to entertain others!" Josh declared with a bright smile on his face.

Melody smiled back and gave Josh a big hug, to which he greatly returned right back.

"Aww, I love it when love birds are being all lovey dovey." Oberon explained.

"Hey Oberon, how have you been?" Jake asked.

"Not too well, I can't fly as much as I could in this weather," Oberon explained.

"Really? How come, why can't you fly in the cold?" Jenny asked curious as to why Oberon can't fly.

"Well if I do, then my wings could freeze and break. If that were to happen then I'd be unable to fly ever again." Oberon explained.

"That makes sense as your wings do look sensitive so I believe the cold weather won't be too nice to them if you were to expose them to the cold." Ed explained.

"Yes, that's exactly it! So that's why I'll be returning to the fairy kingdom as soon as it starts snowing here! I think snow is pretty, but I can't fly in it so I'll be going home so I can enjoy flying all I want." Oberon explained.

"Yeah I can understand where Oberon is coming from, I don't like to run in cold weather myself. But I will also be returning home for the holidays, but I'll still come to help when you all need it." Cen explained.

"Thanks Cen, we need all the help we can get if we want to have a chance at stopping Lucifer and Adrienne." Jane explained.

The other squads all nodded, agreeing with her as they also felt like they needed as much help as they could get. "Well I'm already starting to pack up my stuff as the holidays where I'm from start earlier in my world. And they have many phases so they last for a bit longer then yours. So by next week I'll be back to my home kingdom, just so you all know ahead of time." Freya explained.

"Thanks for the heads up Freya, it's very kind of you to let us know ahead of time." Hannah said. Freya smiled and nodded before she left the main room to go back to her own room.

"Hey where's Paris? I just noticed their not here." Erick said.

"Yeah where are they?" Dillion asked.

"They're in Iris's room. I'm pretty sure their feeling concerned for her. They did say something in them was different since Erick helped them out." Cen explained.

"That's good! Means that they can indeed feel emotions, even if Shadow shifters are not made to feel at all." Paccia said happy about the progress Paris has made.

"I'm glad to hear that they are able to experience what it's like to feel emotions." Erick said feeling proud of himself.

"Me too, I'm proud that you helped them out with that Erick." Akira said.

Erick smiled at that, the Squads then went into Iris's room to see how she was doing. When they entered her room they saw Iris laying on her cloud bed, looking very sick and had rainbow colored spots all over her body.

"Hey Iris, you alright?" Hannah asked gently, getting Iris's attention. Iris looked up and saw The Squads all standing in her room, she smiled to see her friends.

"Hey guys... *cough-cough*... I'm mostly well, aside from being sick." Iris explained.

"Well, Rowdy told us what's happening so we came here to check up on you." Jane explained.

"Yeah we also wanted to give you some emotional support." Jake said as he sat down at the end of Iris's bed.

"T-Thanks guys ACHO! I'm glad to have such good friends." Iris said weakly while sneezing.

The Squads all smiled and they started chatting with Iris, however Lila soon noticed that Marry wasn't anywhere to be seen. She was curious to see where Marry was so she decided to ask Iris about where she was.

"Hey Iris, where's Marry?" Lila asked.

"O-Oh she's out in the garden." Iris said.

"Alright, thanks, I'll be right back." Lila said before leaving the room.

She headed to the back door that led out to the garden, and when she got there she saw Marry, pacing back and forth anxiously around the garden. Lila was curious as to what Marry was seemingly nervous about so she walked up to her and she overheard Marry muttering something to herself.

"Okay Okay, so Lila and her friends are coming over, that's not a big deal! But why am I so anxious about it?! I mean yeah Lila is pretty, but why am I always so nervous around her?!" Marry muttered to herself quietly.

When Lila heard what Marry had said about her she got flustered a little. She wasn't sure how Marry felt about her before when she was corrupted as she had shown to somewhat have affections for her even when she was brainwashed. However Lila wasn't sure if these feelings would carry on when she was freed from that state. Now that Marry was back to normal and with what Lila heard she was certain that Marry must like her. So Lila was happy about it as she believes she also liked Marry, so if that was the case then she would like to talk to Marry and be steady about it.

So Lila got up and walked up to Marry, whose back was facing her so she didn't know that Lila was walking up to her. When Lila got to Marry she tapped on her shoulder lightly, this inturn startled Marry and she whipped around and when she saw Lila, she relaxed a little.

"Oh, Lila, it's you... what are you doing here? Well you're obviously here because of Iris, so that's why you're here and... yeah just... never mind." Marry awkwardly said with her face turning bright red. Marry turned away from Lila as she felt too embarrassed and nervous to talk or even look her in the eye.

"Hey Mary it's alright, and I also came because I wanted to see you. That's why I came out here, I wanted to find you and have a little chat." Lila explained.

When Marry heard that she got even more flustered, as she didn't think Lila would want to talk to her while Iris was sick. She opened her mouth and was about to say something, unfortunately before she could even get a single sound in Ed came bursting thru the door. He had a panicked expression on his face and told the two girls that it meant something bad.

"Lila! We gotta go! Catherine called and told me that Jack and John were causing trouble in the downtown district!" Ed blurted out quickly.

"Oh crap! That's not good! Lets go!" Lila exclaimed and ran into the house to leave with her friends.

When Marry heard that she wanted to help, but she was also scared of getting brainwashed again. However she did want to watch Lila in action and see how her and the other Squads fought together. So Marry decided to follow them and stay out of sight in order to see Lila in action.

The Squads all left the house and ran downtown in-order to stop the two brothers. When they got their they saw dark puppets completely covered in a black mass along. They saw the two brothers hovering in the sky laughing like maniacs as the puppet attacked everything it saw and made people scream and run in terror.

"HEY JERKS! FACE US!" Lila screamed.

The two brothers looked back and smiled when they saw the Rainbow Squads. "AH, Squads, so nice to see you all here!" Jack exclaimed while smiling and cracking his neck like a puppet.

"God! Could you please be less creepy! For all things holy! It's bad enough that I hate clowns! And your not making it any better!" Jake screamed making his discomfort known.

"Aww, why would I? I love being this way!" Jack explained in a high pitched and creepy tone.

"Whatever! Why are you two here!" Hannah demanded to know.

"Just to entertain ourselves! And hey we decided to combine our powers this time, so now our creation is much stronger than before!" John declared with pride in his voice.

"Yes! Now creation! Destroy the Squads for us! However, make sure their hearts stay! I'm sure Craindre would love them!" Jack commanded their creation.

The puppet turned its head with a creek and when it saw the Rainbow Squads, it charged in to go through with its orders.

As soon as the Squads all saw the puppet charging in at them they Screamed at once "RAINBOW! POWER! ACTION!" And transformed into their Rainbow Squad forms. After they all had transformed they called out together "Shining Bright in the darkest night! Here Come The Rainbow Squads!"

The Puppet then got to them and it raised its hand up in the air and formed it into a mallet. It then slammed said mallet on the ground, thankfully the Squads were able to jump out of the way. Lila used her ribbons and wrapped them around the puppets arms. She yanked on her ribbons hard causing the puppet to be thrown off balance.

Josh then got out his enthusiasm gun and began shooting it. The puppet staggered a bit at the attack, so it tried to smash Josh with its mallet. However Jake got in the way and used his shield to block the attack and protect his best friend.

The puppet then felt Lila yanking on it again, it turned to her and saw she was pulling as hard as she could. It then did something that took the squads off guard, black appendages emerged out of the tar like substance on its body and they attacked each squad. The Squads at once became focused on deafening themselves from the appendages that were attacking them.

Meanwhile in the shadows Marry was watching the battle and was amazed by how elegant Lila was when she fought. Marry felt her heart sore as she watched Lila fight against the puppet's extra limbs. However her admiration had instantly turned to fear from what happened next in the fight.

Another appendage secretly emerged out of its body and it wrapped around Lila's ankle, she only took notice of this when it was too late. The tentacle flipped Lila onto her back and the other appendage grabbed onto her. It then tried to bring Lila closer to its body in order to keep a good hold on her.

However a yellow ribbon was suddenly wrapped around Lila's ankle and it was pulled in the opposite direction. Jack and John looked to see who was doing that, at first they assumed it was one of the other Squads who was trying to save her.

They were mistaken however as instead they saw Marry having used the yellow ribbon on her dress, alongside her own magic to grab onto Lila in an attempt to save her.

"Well Melanie, so nice to see you again." John stated in a mocking way.

"THAT'S NOT MY NAME!" Marry screamed in anger and with a bit of struggle.

"Oh? Then why did you say it was your name for two years?" Jack asked while turning upside down.

"I WASN'T ME! MELANIE ISN'T WHO I AM! I"M MARRY AND THIS IS THE REAL ME!" Marry declared with fury.

She then gave one final yank and this is what allowed her to pull Lila free from the puppets grasp. Unfortunately Marry didn't prepare to catch her so the two ended up crashing right into each other. The two quickly scrambled onto their feet and once they were up both of them looked like tomatoes as they blushed.

"Ugh! Why are you two blushing? Do you like each other?" John asked disgustedly.

"If so then gross! I don't understand how two people of the same gender could ever have feelings for each other! It shouldn't be possible! It's disgusting that two people of the same gender can be together! It's wrong!" Jack was also disgusted.

"YOUR WRONG!" Lila screamed angrily.

She faced the two brothers, her face now red with anger on their words about same gender relationships.

"Listen here you disgusting creeps! I want to let you both know that same gender relationships aren't disgusting! Two people of the same gender are allowed to be together if they so desire! So you're wrong! So what if me and Marry like each other! It's perfectly fine! As long as the two of us and all other gays, lesbians, and all other sexualities are with the person they love regardless of gender or identity, and are happy! Then let them! I'll be with the girl who I love and who will love me back! So mock me and other gays all you two want! Cause guess what! You two can't change anything about us! I'm a lesbian! And I'M A PROUD LESBIAN!" Lila declared with all her heart as she told the two off and showed her colors off with pride.

A light blue glow then emitted off of Lila and she then gained her own angel wings. Showing that she had now leveled up in her magical training and abilities. When the two brothers saw this they both cringed as they didn't expect Lila to level up by just defending same gender relationships.

They shook it off instantly and commanded loudly at the same time "PUPPET DESTROY HER!"

The puppet obeyed and went after Lila, however she used her new strength and magic to summon a light blue Morning Glory flower. A bright light blue blast was then shot out of the flower and it blasted the puppet. The blast melted away the tar like goo and transformed the puppet back into its harmless state as an ordinary wooden puppet.

When the two brothers saw this they decided to retreat and come up with a new plan on how to stop the Rainbow Squads. After they left the Squads all took a moment to relax as they felt pretty tired from the whole ordeal.

"Wow Okay I'm beat. I regret staying up so late listening to music." Erick said.

"And yet somehow you managed to get away during school." Ed commented jokingly.

"Hey we had classes that were having us do not so tiring work alright. With the holidays just around the corner schools are cooling down with assignments and classes so steady everyone into the break" Erick explained in defense.

"Hehe, you're the opposite of Josh, Erick. He'll fall asleep anytime of the day if he stays up too late." Lila said, roasting her brother and making everyone snicker.

"Hehe, Um... Lila, uh I-I um." Marry tried to say something but struggled to find the words.

"Yeah Marry? If you want to say something, then don't be afraid. Say what's on your mind and in your heart." Lila said.

"... well um... I-I know that when we first m-met things weren't so good, as I-I was brainwashed. It didn't help that I had said some hurtful things to you." Marry explained while stuttering nervously.

"Hey, it's all cool now, you're back to the real you so it's water under the bridge now." Lila explained reassuring Marry.

"G-Good, and um... I-I kinda wanted t-to tell you something before. I-I wasn't sure about it before, b-but after hearing that speech you gave to those two brothers and saying you're a lesbian with pride I-I feel like I can say it now." Marry explained, still stuttering totally filled with nerves.

"Let me guess, you like me and want to ask me out right?" Lila asked with a smile on her face.

"UGh! Was it that obvious?" Marry asked.

Lila and the others giggled at her words and Lila replied "Yeah it was."

Marry's face then turned red and she buried her head in her hands totally embarrassed by how obvious she was.

"Don't be embarrassed Marry, I like you to. And I'd love to go out with you." Lila said while giving Marry her hand.

Marry's face had even more bush covering her face, but she swallowed and gently took Lila's hand. "Why do I feel so awkward?" Marry asked nervously.

"Don't worry! This is normal! Ed and I went through the same thing when we started dating!" Jenny reassured Marry.

She smiled at this and the two girls were happy to now start displaying their feelings with pride. Even if some out there might object to this kind of relationship they wouldn't care, as long as they were happy then those people could go suck an egg and stay out of it. Marry was happy that Lila liked her back and she swore to herself that she'll be the girlfriend Lila deserves.
