"I-I didn't think my past would come back like this, Oh dad I wish you were here. I wanted my children to have a normal childhood on earth." Charles said as he ran back home with the bags of groceries he went out to get in his hands. He hoped that when his children and wife got home he'd be able to act normal despite the information he had just learned.

Two weeks passed and it was about two more days before Halloween the Squads and Daniel were at the store getting their costumes.

"I think I'm going to be Bumblebee from Transformers!" Josh said as he decided on his costume.

"Cool, I think I'm going to be a witch." Jane said.

"Awesome! I think I'll be a Vampire like what my favorite Rock band dresses up as." Erick explained.

"Ohh sounds cool Erick, who are they?" Iris asked.

"I will when we're done here." Erick said.

Iris smiled at that and looked around for her own costume. She wanted to be something cute instead of scary. Iris came across an adorable bunny costume, so she decided to go for that. Lila went for a sailor Mercury costume as she was her favorite character from the anime. Ed went for Albert Einstein Jenny went for a pink fairy, Jake went for Mario, and Hannah went for Princess Peach.

Marry didn't know what she wanted to be for Halloween as this was her first time celebrating this holiday. She looked around and saw a costume of a superhero that she saw in a movie she caught Lila and Josh watching.

'Hmm I guess I'll go for this.' Marry thought to herself.

After everyone got their costumes they went up to the register to pay for their items. After all their items were scanned everyone paid their part of the bill and left the store.

"Hey Daniel, what are you going to be? I wasn't able to see what you picked out so I want to know." Jenny explained.

"Oh I decided to be Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas." Daniel explained.

"Oh what's that?" Iris asked curiously.

"It's a movie, I'll show it to you when you all come over to our place tomorrow." Daniel said.

Iris nodded, she then took Marry's hand and the two went back home before it got too dark. The rest of the Squads all returned home as the sun was now starting to set and dinner would be ready soon. After a while Hannah and Daniel arrived at their house and when they entered the house they saw their mother cooking and their father on the couch. They saw that their dad seemed rather tense and anxious about something. Worried Hannah went up to her father to ask if everything was alright. Daniel went to put his costume in his room for later and then come back down to help his mom out with the cooking.

"Hey Dad are you alright?" Hannah asked while tapping her dad on the shoulder.

Charles looked up and saw his daughter looking at him with worry. "I-I'm fine, I've just been having a rough time at work. It's nothing to worry about and it'll clear up, it's just the busy season for our company that's all." Charles explained.

"Okay, just take some time off if you get too overwhelmed." Hannah advised.

She then went up to her room to put her costume away and take off her jacket as it was pretty warm in the house. After Hannah left Charles looked back down anxiously, his thoughts racing through his head. Hannah meanwhile placed her costume down on her bed and went up to her desk. On their was a cage where Amanda was kept in as her parents thought she was a regular pet. Hannah opened the cage and took Amanda out, then placed her on her shoulder.

"Hey Red, how was the shop?" Amanda asked.

"It was nice, and me and Jake are going for couples costumes. He's gonna be Mario and I'll be Princess Peach! We got wigs, make up, and everything we'll need." Hannah explained.

"Awesome! I can't wait! Halloween sounds like a lot of fun! And I can only imagine what it'll be like!" Amanda exclaimed.

"It'll be a lot of fun! Oh and Jenny's dad is gonna make a delicious cinnamon apple galette which is so good!" Hanna exclaimed.

"Ohh! That does sound tasty!" Amanda exclaimed.

"Yeah he's making lots of Halloween themed treats! And asked us if we'd like to come over to his restaurant tomorrow to taste them!" Hanna exclaimed excitedly.

"Really! Oh my word! I'd love to try what he makes! Mr. Smith's Candy is already good as I can taste the love and care he puts into it! So I wonder how a family man like Jenny's dad makes food." Amanda explained.

"Well only one way to find out! Now come on, Moms making chicken wings and potato chips for dinner and I want to have some!" Hannah exclaimed as she skipped excitedly out of the room.

Amanda was also pretty excited for the next day, as she wanted to know how much love and care Jenny's dad puts into the foods he makes. Especially since he has lots of love and care for his wife and all twelve of his children.

Meanwhile in the shadow realm, Lucifer was in Adrienne's room making sure she was back to her full strength. After examining her with a doctor, the doc said that she'd just need to rest for one more night and she'd be back on the field. Lucifer thanked the doc for his help, before rudely telling him to get out of the room. The doc obeyed as he knew better than to comment on his king's tone towards him.

"Adrienne, you hear that? You'll be up and at it tomorrow. I'm glad to hear that, as it means you can find that Shadow shifter and get some revenge on it for poisoning you." Lucifer explained.

"I know father, and I intend to teach him the highest price for what happens when you meddle with the Royal family." Adrienne explained.

Lucifer smiled, got up off the bed, and left Adrienne's room to allow her to sleep peacefully. When he left the room he locked the door and turned around to see one of his servants standing behind him.

"Ah you're here, I'm assuming that Shade and Samuel are ready to meet me in my throne room?" Lucifer asked.

"Yes they are my king, shall I take you there?" The Servant asked.

"No you shall have two guards stand out of all the entrances of Adrienne's room. After that traitor poisoned her I don't want to take any risks of a possible assassination attempt. Everyone knows she's my only heir to the throne, so if something bad were to happen to her, our kingdom would have no future." Lucifer explained.

The servant nodded and left to go get the guards, once the servant was gone Lucifer went to the throne room to talk with Shade and Samuel. When he arrived he saw the two were sitting on one knee in front of his throne. Lucifer smiled upon seeing this as he enjoyed it when others knew their place within his kingdom. He went up to his throne and sat down on it, then got into a comfortable position before speaking.

"Ah Shade Samuel, so kind of you two to come to meet me. If you two were wondering where I was, then I was with Adrienne making sure she's alright." Lucifer explained.

"Understood your highness, we would've waited for you all night if we had to." Shade said.

"Yes we'd never be late on anything for you. When you tell us to be in a certain place at a certain time then we'll be there! We'll stay for as long as you desire your highness!" Samuel exclaimed.

After hearing this Lucifer smirked, it brought him so much pleasure that these two were once Iris's loved ones. Now they are his obedient servants who will do anything he asks as long as they are under his control.

"Alright, what I want you two to do is to collect negative emotions from earth and bring them to me. I need half of it to restore my own energy and the other half to make something. As the Rainbow Squads have been able to use their rainbow Collision to destroy the Night orbs we'll need to up our game. So I want you two to collect as many negative emotions from humans as you can." Lucifer explained.

"Will do your highness! We'll get right to it first thing in the morning!" Samuel stated.

"Good, now leave and go to your quarters. I expect you two to be up at 6 AM and get to work immediately." Lucifer explained.

"Of course your highness! We will!" Shade said.

The two men then got up and left the room, leaving Lucifer alone. The king got up out of his throne and left the room for the dungeon of the castle. When he arrived there he saw a statue that was made of a black rock in the center of the room. He smiled evilly and went up to the statue and looked at it with a sinister look on his face. The statue itself was the former king of the Kingdom of Positivity AKA Iris's father. Lucifer had used his dark powers to turn the king into stone, but he was still alive and was aware of everything.

"Well long time no see huh? You know, your wife was taken out of here by a traitor shadow sifter that poisoned my daughter. How do you feel about that huh? Does the idea that your wife being safe at the cost of my daughter falling ill for weeks bring you joy? Honestly you all think that positivity is good, that it'll be great that you all be free, but what if that came at the coast of us huh? If you think that's alright, then I'm doing everyone a favor by trying to destroy the Rainbow Crystal heart. Oh and if you even think She'll be able to defeat me, hehe, you have another thing coming. She will never be as powerful as me! After all she hasn't spent as much time with magic as I have and my hate is far stronger than her magic." Lucifer mocked the now stone king.

Sometimes Lucifer wished he could see the look that man would be pulling whenever he would mock him like this. Lucifer yawned and went to his room to sleep and prepare for the next day as he'd have lots of work that day.

The next day on earth Dillon woke up to a wonderful smell entering his nose. He stood up on Jenny's bed and sniffed at the air for the wonderful smell.

"Jenny! Jenny, what's that smell!" Dillion whispered to Jenny while shaking her.

"Hmm what Dillon? Why are you waking me up? It's a rare day where all my other siblings are quiet in the morning so I can sleep in." Jenny explained tiredly.

"What's that smell?! It smells like cinnamon and Apples! Ah it's the most wonderful smell I've ever sniffed!" Dillon exclaimed happily.

"It's a cinnamon apple galette. It's a treat my dad bakes every year close to Halloween for the Halloween bake sale. My friends and our friends are going to be taste testing some later today." Jenny explained tiredly.

"Wow! I can't wait! If the galette smells this good! I can't wait to see what else he'll make!" Dillon exclaimed excitedly.

Jenny did not respond and just went back to sleep as she wanted to take the chance to sleep in as her siblings were quiet.

Later that day The Squads were all at the restaurant that Jenny's dad owned. They were in the kitchen where the foods were being made so they could have a taste of them once they were done.

"Alright kids, I hope you all have brought a big case of the munchies with you. Cause I'm making lots of foods this year, both pastries and main course dishes. You all will get some small samples, as I don't want you all eating too much." Jenny's dad explained.

"Aw yeah! I can't wait to see what you'll make!" Josh exclaimed.

"Yeah, your cooking is so good! I love your food!" Jake exclaimed.

"Yeah it is! My dad always brings me here instead of some fancy expensive restaurant as he thinks the food is so much better then what some five star expensive restaurant could offer." Ed explained.

"Aww thanks, you all are so kind." Jenny's father said while blushing a bit.

He loved it whenever someone said kind things about his restaurant, as he put much hard work into it. He worked a lot and learned how to cook many different dishes from many different cultures. He learned how to make Japanese, French, Indian, Russian, and many other dishes. He wanted the people of the city to enjoy a wide range of foods when coming to his restaurant so he worked hard. So hearing such compliments made his heart sore as it always told him that his hard work was worth it. He then pulled out the galette and placed it on the table where the Squads were sitting.

"Alright, here's the first dish, my apple cinnamon galette. I'll cut it up and give you all a sample of it." Jenny's dad explained.

He then grabbed a knife and cut it up into sample size pieces, to which he handed out to each squad. When the Squads ate their samples it was so delicious with the apple and the cinnamon mixed together.

"Mmh! So good!" Josh said with his mouth full.

Dillon, wanting some to, jumped off of Jenny's lap and onto the table. He went up to Jenny's dad and gave him the cute bunny eyes, as his way to try and ask for some as well.

"Aww Dillon, Okay you can have some too." Jenny's dad said then gave Dillon a small slice.

The dark blue bunny nibbled at the galette and he enjoyed it very much as it wasn't like anything he's ever had. The other squads also shared some pieces of the galette with their animal guides. Akira slurped the piece Erick gave him with his lizard tongue, Josh threw his and Umang caught it in his mouth, Katie just swallowed hers hole, Amanda nibbled at the small piece she had, Paccia pecked at hers, and Amara just ate hers like a normal parrot would with their food.

"Thanks Riyan, that was delicious." Jake said.

"Anything for my daughters friends, now onto the next one! My pumpkin butterscotch pie!" Riyan exclaimed excitedly and went back to the counter to start prepping the pie.

The squads all sat at the table waiting for the pie to be done, as they were waiting Iris got a magical call on her scepter. She looked up at everyone and decided to go into the other room to take the call. After going into the room Iris picked up and saw Marry on the other side. Marry stayed back at the house as she wanted to make some adjustments to her costume, as she used to sew back before the invasion of their kingdom.

"Hey Marry what's going on?" Iris asked.

"Um well, Iris Apollo said he felt the presence of Adrienne, which most likely means that she's back to full strength. He told me to warn you and the others that she's on her way to you all!" Marry explained.

"What?! Okay I'll tell the others! Stay safe Marry and make sure the shadow Shifter stays safe as we know what will happen to them if she finds them!" Iris explained worried about their new ally.

"Alright I will! Good luck to you all!" Marry exclaimed.

The two friends ended the call and Iris went back into the kitchen to warn her friends about Adrienne. She went up to the table and started whispering the solution to Ed, who was sitting next to her. After explaining everything Ed passed it on and all the Squads told each other. Once they all knew they were worried about when Adrienne would show up to disrupt them.

However, that was soon answered when they all heard a crashing sound coming from the dining area. The parents who brought their kids ran out to the dinning area to investigate and saw a huge shadow pig eating at the sample desserts and main courses.

"What in the world?!" Riyan exclaimed as he saw the shadow eating away at his sample's.

"Why in the world is there some shadow hog in the restaurant! I thought that animals were meant to stay outside in that animal pin you have?!" Ericks dad asked, confused.

Catherine then opened the emergency exit and said "Everyone lets go! It's not safe here!"

The adults all looked at her surprised by her sudden appearance in the emergency exit.

"Wait, what about our kids?!" Jake's mom asked worried about her son and friends.

"Don't worry about their safety! I already got them to safety! Now come on, the Rainbow Squads will arrive soon so let's get out of the area!" Catherine exclaimed.

The adults all looked back into the kitchen and saw that it was empty so they believed that their children were indeed alright. So they ran out of the restaurant and Catherien slammed the door closed so the shadow wouldn't try to get out.

Meanwhile the Rainbow Squads were watching this from behind the table where their parents couldn't see them. Once they saw that their parents had left they knew it'd be safe to them to go in and fight the shadow. Their animal guides all went outside to pose as them so if their parents started looking for them they wouldn't get worried. They went out into the dining area and saw that the shadow was now eating the shelf that once had the samples on it.

"What in the world?! Why is that Shadow eating everything in sight?!" Josh asked.

"Rainbow Squads, so nice to see you all again." The Squads heard Adrienne say.

They looked up and saw Adrienne eating one of the samples that was on the shelf.

"Hey Adrienne! Why are you here!" Jane asked.

"Yeah! We were enjoying the treats my Dad was making for Halloween!" Jenny exclaimed angrily as she didn't like that Adrienne interrupted her dad's cooking.

"Ugh, really? Well tell your dad that he needs work on his cooking, cause this is grossed." Adrienne stated as he dropped the sample on the ground.

"HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT ABOUT MY DADS HARD WORKED COOKING!" Jenny screamed angrily at Adrienne.

"Let's kick her but!" Erick declared.

The Rainbow Squads all shouted "RAINBOW POWER ACTION!" and transformed into their Rainbow Squad forms. After transforming they got into their fighting stance, the Shadow looked at them and opened its mouth then spat a black ball of goo at them. Jake summoned his shield and used it to block the impact from the shadow.

"Ew! What's that?! And how does it do that?!" Lila asked, grossed out by the shadows' attack.

"Oh this shadow of mine can turn whatever it eats into projectiles. I feel like it does a favor for the customers at this restaurant, if there are any customers at all." Adrienne mocked.

"Hey! Don't you dare talk like that about my dads restaurant! He worked incredibly hard on his cooking to make this place what it is!" Jenney yelled angrily.

"Oh really? Well I feel like it went to waste as the food isn't good at all." Adrienne stated, she then smelled the air and caught a swift at what was left of the galette that was in the kitchen.

"Shadow! Get what's in the kitchen!" Adrienne commanded.

The shadow snorted and threw itself through the wall causing it to be destroyed.

"Oh dear, your dad's gonna be mad about that." Ed said.

"Yeah he is! He just had the walls repainted not even two days ago!" Jenny exclaimed.

The shadow then grabbed the galette before the Squads could react and brought it over to Adrienne. Adrienne took it out of its hand and looked at the pastry in her hands with a disgusted look.

"Ugh! What is this?!" Adrienne asked, disgusted by the galette.

"That's a galette! And it's good!" Hannah stated.

"Yeah we all had samples and Jenny's dad did a great job!" Jane declared.

"Hmm, I think your taste buds are broken! I haven't even tasted it yet and I can already tell that it's grosse!" Adrienne declared.

She then tried to feed the galette to the shadow to turn it into a projectile. However she was stopped when a dark Blue Arrow hit her dress's sleeve and she was thrown to the wall. The arrow pinned Adrienne to the wall and she dropped the galette, which was thankfully caught by Jane with her super speed. Adrienne looked over to Jenny and saw her bow and arrows were out and she was glaring at her.

"I'm done with you!" Jenny declared.

"How come? Cause I speak the truth?! Ha! Your father doesn't know anything about taste!" Adrienne declared.

"SHUT UP! YOUR WRONG! MY DAD IS A GREAT COOK!" Jenny screamed.

"Yeah, his cooking always brings a tear to my eyes!" Josh exclaimed.

"It does and I can taste the love he puts into it!" Lila stated.

"I've loved to eat here as it's the best food I've ever tasted!" Erick declared.

"It is indeed and this place is special as it's the first place that Erick took me out on a date!" Jane stated.

"And Jake also took me out on a date here, and I had a great time here, the food made it even better!" Hannah exclaimed.

"It did and If you say that it's bad! Then you must have broken taste buds as Riyan is an amazing cook!" Jake exclaimed.

"It is and while my dad could afford a five star expensive restaurant but goes here as the food is amazing!" Ed explained.

"Yeah! So shut up about my dads cooking being bad! It isn't bad! It's the best! And I'm going to take over this place one day when I'm an adult!" Jenny declared.

"Ugh! All of you shut up! Shadow! DESTROY THEM!" Adrienne commanded.

The Shadow snorted again and charged at them with the intent to use more projectiles to attack them. Jenny's eyes then started glowing dark blue and her whole body was surrounded by a dark blue light. Jenney then sent out an air wave towards the shadow, and it was pushed back onto the ground.

Adrienne looked down to her shadow in shock and then looked up to Jenny and saw that Jenney now had angel wings. She knew that meant that Jenny had advanced up in her magical development. Jenny then summoned a big dark blue periwinkle and sent out a blast to the shadow. The Shadow shrieked and then turned back into a waiter who works at the restaurant. The waiter passed out and Jenny looked up at Adrienne angerly and aimed her flower blaster at her.

Adrienne's eyes widened and she teleported away back home so she wouldn't be weakened by Jenny's attack. After Adrienne left Jenny's flower blaster disappeared and she looked at her friends who stared at her in awe.

"Wow! Jenny Look at you! You've got wings now too!" Josh exclaimed.

"Yeah I do! That means I've also advanced in my magic! Jenny exclaimed happily.

"Congrats Jenny!" Hannah exclaimed as she went up to her friend and hugged her.

"Alright now um... What do we do about the wall?" Erick asked as he looked towards the damaged wall.

"Don't worry I got this, with my speed." Jane said.

She then used her super speed and in the blink of an eye the wall was all fixed up.

"OMG! Thank you so much Jane!" Jenny thanked, grateful towards Jane for fixing the wall.

"Anything for a friend." Jane stated.

"Let's go outside now before Iris or the other animal guides get worried about us." Jake said.

"Yeah or before one of them accidentally blows cover as Faith did tell me they can only be in certain shapes for so long." Lila stated.

"Yeah Amara also said that the forms they have are just smaller ones of their true forms." Ed stated.

"Huh? I wonder what they truly look like?" Josh asked.

"I guess only time will tell, now let's go before Josh and Lila's mom throws a hissy fit as I don't want to see her do that again." Erick stated showing actual concern.

The others all nodded agreeing with Erick also showing concern about the twins mother and certain things she does when she panics.
