Chapter 15 The Final Fight Part 1
Hannah couldn't see anything as she was dragged through a dark space unknowing of where she was going. After being in darkness for a bit Hannah soon had her senses come back to her. "Ugh! Oh my head, w-where am I?" Hannah asked as she rubbed her head.
"Oh no where, just a little familiar place to me," Adrienne answered.
Hannah looked back and saw Adrienne standing over her with a smug smile plastered on her face. "Adrienne! Where have you taken me NOW!!" Hannah questioned.
"Like I said, I've taken you to a very familiar place to me. Or in other words, My Kingdom's ARENA!!! HIT THE LIGHTS" Adrienne commanded.
As soon as those words left her mouth, lights flashed on all around, showing Hannah the arena. Hannah looked around and saw the arena was white with a black line in the center, separating her and Adirenne. Looking up she saw a number of people and shadow creatures sitting on bleachers that were piled up around eleven levels. All of them roared out cheers and praises, all of them directed towards Adrienne. Meanwhile somewhere booing or outright insulting her, while encouraging Adrienne to take her out.
"W-What is this?! What is even going on here?!" Hannah asked, scared and confused.
"This is just a little something, I asked my father to set up," Adrienne informed. Lights flashed to Hannahs left, she looked and spotted Lucifer sitting on a throne in his own private room, away from everyone else.
"Why hello there Red Squad, it's nice to finally meet you. My daughter has told me so much about you," Lucifer said with a smug smile.
"L-Lucifer?! Y-Your awake!?" Hannah stuttered out scared after seeing him.
"Why yes I am. Unfortunately for me I haven't been able to invade your earth just yet, but I'm getting stronger," Lucifer stated.
Hannah brows furrowed and she clutched her teeth tightly, she whipped around facing Adrienne head on. "What is this all about?! Why did you bring me here Adrienne?!" Hannah interrogated.
"Hehe, just a little challenge I wanted to have after completing my mission," Adrienne answered.
"And what kind of a challenge is this then?" Hannah asked.
"You and I will battle and whichever one of us gives up is the loser," Adrienne informed.
"Okay, and what are the rules for this fight?" Hannah asked.
"Oh they're very simple, the two of us will use magic of any kind and any spells we want. Whoever wins will submit whatever conditions to the loser! HAHAHA!" Adrienne laughed maniacally.
"Really? That's what you dragged me here to do?" Hannah asked.
"Why yes of course, oh and My condition for winning is that I will personally execute you in front of everyone!" Adrienne declared.
Hannah froze up when she heard that; her heart began to thump against her chest as fear gripped her entire being. If she lost then Adrienne would kill her and let everyone here watch. She didn't even want to think of how Adrienne would tell her friends and family about what she did. However the memory of what she did to Paris and how she felt no remorse for her actions filled her with desire. She desired to get revenge, make Adrienne pay for her actions, making her and her father pay for their crimes.
"Okay Adrienne even though there are high stakes with this, I'll accept your challenge," Hannah declared.
"Hehehe, I hoped you would, so what are your conditions if you win?" Adrienne asked.
"If I win then you and your father will pay for all the evil things you two have done, to me, my friends, and all of Iris's people!" Hannah stated.
Adrienne hummed for a moment scratching her chin for a moment before she spoke "Alright I agree, now let's get started."
Hannah nodded and the two got into a fighting pose, glaring at each other like two animals fighting for dominance. They remained like that for a solid five seconds until Lucifer rang a loud bell, indicating the fight could begin. Hannah quickly summoned her sword and Adrienne summoned her scythe. The two clashed their weapons against each other pushing as hard as they could. Adrienne quickly pulled her Scythe off Hannah's sword and teleported right behind Hannah. She swung her scythe at Hannah attempting to harm her, but Hannah ducked down, turning to Adrienne she kicked her as hard as she could in the stomach. Adrienne stumbled back, holding her stomach as she groaned out furious.
Hannah stood back up and swung her sword at Adrienned but Adrienne blocked the attack with her scythe, kicking Hannah in the stomach much harder sending Hannah flying to the other side of the arena. Hannah groaned in pain as she attempted to recover from the attack. "Ugh! That one hurt, Adrienne must've worked out for a very long time," Hannah commented under her breath.
Adrienne stood up straight and began chanting a spell in a language Hannah couldn't understand. Suddenly black spots appeared right under Hannah, and began to glow red. Upon instinct Hannah opened her wings and flew off the ground as black spikes shot up at her. Thankfully for her the attack missed as Hannah had flown up fast enough to avoid it. However Hannah felt she was suddenly grabbed by someone and was thrown hard to the ground. Moaning out in pain Hannah pushed herself off her back and onto her chest. Adrienne laughed as she used her telekinesis to force Hannah on the ground again, approaching her with her weapon in her hand.
Hannah pushed herself up with all her might despite how strong the force was on her. She glared up to her arch nemesis, all the memories of her awful deeds once again took hold on her mind. Hannah growled harshly as she lifted her hand and summoned a rose, blasting a large amount of magic. Adrienne spotted the magic beam and dodged the attack, making her lose focus on Hannah. Now free Hannah summoned her sword again and charged at Adrienne attempting to swing it at her.
Adrienne smirked upon seeing this, and as soon as she saw Hannah was about to swing her sword she attacked. Adrienne swung her scythe at Hannah, managing to injure her this time around, she smirked at her own handy work.
Hannah didn't hear anything, not the crowd's cheers, not her sword clashing on the ground, nothing but ringing in her ears as the pain shot through her body. Hannah let out a scream as her right arm fell to the floor and she held the area it once was as the pain shot through her entire body. She stumbled back in as the pain forced tears to come out of her eyes.
"Ahh! Ugh! OW!! WHAT ON EARTH IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?!" Hannah screamed angrily as tears streamed from her eyes.
"Oh my bad, but hey the rules don't state that we're not allowed to have some collateral damage," Adrienne mocked with a smile on her face.
"Collateral damage?! YOU SLICED OFF MY ARM!!" Hannah screamed angrily.
"Hehe, well I don't really care, it's not my arm. Now let's get back to fighting!" Adrienne declared, instantly jumping at Hannah.
Hannah jumped back as Adrienne swang her scythe at her; madness plastered all over her face. Hannah opened her wings again and flew up in order to think of a plan on what to do. She felt something sharp grip on her left leg, it was so tight that Hannah cried out in utter agony as she felt it break. Hannah was thrown to the ground at the other side of the arena she screamed out in agony. She looked down to her legs and was horrified to see that her left leg was now gone much like her arm. Looking up Hannah saw that scorpion creature that Adrienne had brought along all this time.
"W-What the heck!? Y-You said that we could only use any type of magic, you didn't say anything about whatever that is!" Hannah reminded, holding the stump where her leg used to be.
"Hehe, oh Red, poor naive Red, I said we could use anytype of magic, and the rules state that familiars are a part of that," Adrienne informed.
"W-What!? F-Familiar?! What is that?" Hannah asked, while still cringing in pain.
"It's a creature or spirit you can make a contract with," Adrienne explained.
"Ugh, well that isn't even fair!! I dont have one so why do you get to use yours?!" Hannah questioned.
"That's just because the rules state that anyone with a familiar could use theirs, no matter if their opponent has one or not," Adrienne informed.
"What?! T-That's not fair!!" Hannah exclaimed.
"I don't really care, you pathetic earthlings are always whining about what is or isn't fair. But guess what little missy!" Adrienne exclaimed, grabbing Hannah by the throat, choking her, "Fairness does not exist here, this is my kingdom, and here my father and I make the rules here. And I feel like that with you having lost two of your limbs, that means I win. You know what that means right?" Adrienne asked.
Hannah's eyes widened in horror as her stomach dropped after hearing Adrienne say that. "Yes, that means I get the honor to finally execute you at last! HahahaHAHAHA!" Adrienne laughed maniacally pulling out her scythe.
Hannah closed her eyes as she waited for her imminent demise at the hands of her arch nemesis. However Adrienne squeezed her hand around Hannah's throat harder, forcing her to open her eyes. Adrienne smirked when she saw Hannah's eyes open. The people cheered at Adrienne encouraging her to do it, and Lucifer leaned on his throne watching with joy at what his daughter was about to do.
"This was fun but now, it's time for you t-AHH!" Adrienne was saying till a white fist came out of nowhere, punching Adrienne so hard she went flying into the wall.
The force caused Adrienne to let go of Hannah, allowing her to regain her breath and she collapsed to the floor. White arms grabbed onto Hannah and hoisted her up away from the floor gently. Everyone present gasped upon seeing this and Lucifer's face turned to anger when he saw his daughter being assaulted. Hannah groaned in pain as her wounds stung harder after getting tossed around.
"Hannah! Are you okay?!" A familiar voice asked.
Hannah opened her eyes and saw the thing that was holding her, was made of light with two yellow eyes. "W-Who are you?" Hannah asked.
"You don't recognize me?... well I guess you wouldn't with my new look. It's me, the little light who followed you through dimensions! It's also me! Paris!" The light, apparently Pairs, explained.
When Hannah heard that her eyes widened and she examined all of their features to the best of her abilities. She saw that they took on the same resting shape Paris did and their voice sounded just like theirs. "P-Paris! Y-Your, a-alive?!?!" Hannah asked in shock.
"Yes I am! While I don't know how or what I am now, I'm here and I won't be hiding from Adrienne or Lucifer anymore!" Paris declared, standing strong as Adrienne got up.
She shot the two a glare so sharp it could've sliced them into mini pisces. "UGH!! NOT YOU AGAIN!! I THOUGHT I DESTROYED YOU!!" Adrienne screamed.
"You thought wrong Adrienne! I'm alive, well, and I won't allow you to harm Hannah any longer! She's my friend and she was fighting so hard to avenge me when she thought I was gone!" Paris exclaimed.
"Agh! YOU BASTARD! FIRST YOU POISON ME AND NOW YOU'VE HUMILIATED ME IN FRONT OF EVERYONE HERE!!" Adrienne screamed.
"Yes I did, and I'm also saying that this fight is over! Hannah and I will be returning to earth and you better be prepared for a rematch Adrienne!" Paris declared as the showed a dimensional key.
Adrienne's eyes widened as she checked her dress pocket and realized that the key she stole was gone. "UGH!!! GET THEM NOW!! I WANT THEM BROUGHT IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE KINGDOM AND EXECUTED IMMEDIATELY!!!" Adrienne commanded furiously.
At that moment shadow guards bursted out of the darkness and charged right at Paris and Hannah. Acting fast Paris used the key to create a door, shoving it in the lock they unlocked it and yanked it right open. Paris pulled the key out of the lock and ran with Hannah in their arms thru the portal. The door closed behind the two and disappeared in an instant; the guards all screeched to a stop when the door closed. They all looked back at Adrienne, waiting for her next set of orders; however, Adrienne's face had the most anger anyone has ever seen her. She let out a monserious scream of anger so loud that everyone present covered their ears from the sound.
Back on earth, Paris and Hannah flew through the portal, crashing to the grassy ground. Paris groaned as they got up and looked at Hannah, they saw that her eyes were closed and her breathing was now shallow. Terrified Paris put their hand over Hannah's chest to cheek her pulse, and thankfully they could still hear and feel it beating. Relieved, Paris lifted up their heads and looked up only to see the remaining Rainbow Squads.
"HANNAH! OH LORD WHAT HAPPENED TO HER?!" Jake screamed as he ran up to his girlfriend.
Jake lifed Hannah up into his arms and examined her carefully, horrified to see two of her limbs gone. He tried using his healing magic to help her but it was useless. "Guys! Listen Hannah needs a doctor right now!! She's low on blood and I can't heal her fast enough!" Jake cried out.
"ON IT! Josh do you- Okay he passed out GREAT!" Lila exclaime annoyed. "I got it!" Ed reassured, as he was already on the line with 911.
While Ed was on the line Jake tended to Hannah, making sure they wouldn't possibly lose her to blood loss. As he was caring for her he looked at the strange creature unsure of what to say. "W-Who are you?" Jake asked.
"It's me Paris! I'll explain later but right now Hannah's our main priority!" Paris informed.
Jake stared at them in shock, but nodded as Hannah was indeed the main priority. Several hours later at the hospital, Hannah woke up, she was still in pain but this time it was more mild. Sitting up Hannah was able to see that she was in a hospital room laying in a bed. She checked her injuries and saw that she had bandages wrapped tightly around them; there was also an IV drip attached to her arm providing her body with fluids.
"Oh miss Hannah, you're awake," A warm sweet voice said.
She looked and saw a nurse standing at the other side of her bed with a clipboard. "Hello, um how did I get here?" Hannah asked.
"Your friends called and told us that you were in a severe accident," the nurse informed.
"Okay, um, are they here?" Hannah asked.
"Yes, your friends and family are outside right now. I can go get them if you want to see them," the nurse suggested.
"S-Sure I'd love to see them," Hannah said.
"Alright I'll bring them inside," the nurse replied and left the room.
Hannah leaned back in her hospital bed, thinking over what happened, her arm and leg where now gone leaving crippeled. She had no idea what she could do now or how she could even fight back against the shadows. Hannah turned towards the window, and saw her vivid reflection in it staring back at her. Looking at herself she saw the red streaks in her hair had become even more gray than before. She grabbed a tuft of her hair and looked to see it and indeed the red had mostly turned gray.
"What on earth?! What is going on with my hair?" Hannah asked out loud.
"I can explain that for you," Iris's voice answered.
Hannah looked and saw Iris, her friends, and family all standing near the entrance. Her family all ran over towards her and gave her a big warm hug. "Oh Hannah!! I was so worried about you!!" Charlie cried out.
"Me too, I thought we'd never see you again!" Hannah's mother exclaimed.
"Owow! Y-Yeah I bet, b-but I'm still in lots of pain! So can you all please let go!!" Hannah demanded, making her family let go.
"Sorry, i-it's just that, y-you were gone for three weeks!!" David informed.
Shocked, Hannah stuttered out, "I-I was gone for three weeks!!"
"Yeah, but your animal guide Amanda took your place until you returned. But your friends had informed me and Lily about everything the day you disappeared. So I know about the magic and well everything that had been going on," Hannah's mom informed.
"O-Oh you do, w-well I guess that'll make things easier," Hannah commented.
"How are you feeling H?" Josh asked.
"My body aches, and my mind is just spinning," Hannah answered.
"I bet you've gone through a dangerous ordeal," Jane said.
"I did, and Iris, you said you could explain something to me, about my hair?" Hannah asked.
"I can, but considering what happened, I could explain when you're dismissed from the hospital," Iris suggested.
"Y-Yeah that's a good idea," Hannah replied.
A doctor then came into the room and informed everyone that visiting time was almost over. So they all needed to quickly wrap up and leave so the patients could rest up. "I'll see you all later," Hannah said as her family and friends began to leave.
"See you, Hannah, get well soon!" Jake called out as he left.
Everyone else all wished her well before they left the room. Once again alone Hannah flopped back down on the bed and wondered what she could do now.
"How am I going to get through life like this? I'm only fifteen and now I've lost my arm and leg! C-Can I even be the leader of the Rainbow Squads now?" Hannah asked as she drifted off into a deep sleep.
