The next day, Hannah was in her room sulking since she didn't have school that day due to spring break. She didn't feel like going out because losing her amulet had taken a toll on her. She felt like without her powers she wouldn't be able to be a Rainbow Squad any more. While Amanda tried reassuring her that she was still a squad no matter what, she wasn't convinced.

Meanwhile Daniel was in the kitchen making himself a sandwich when he heard a knock on the door. Daniel got up from his seat to go see who was at the door. He walked up to the door and looked through the peephole and saw Hannah's friends and their pets standing on the stairway. Daniel smiled upon seeing them as he saw his little sister was pretty sad from losing her necklace so he hoped her friends could help her feel better. So he unlocked the door and opened it up; he greeted her friends with a bright smile on his face.

"Hey there, how are you all doing?" Daniel asked.

"We're doing alright, just wanted to see how Hannah's doing," Jake explained.

"She's doing somewhat alright, although she's still sad about losing her necklace yesterday," Daniel explained.

"We know and that's why we're here to try and help her feel better!" Iris explained.

"Thanks guys she's still in her room so you all head up there and help her out," Daniel said.

"Thanks Dan, we really appreciate your help." Jane said.

The Squads all went up to Hannah's room while Daniel went back to making his sandwich and chips. Meanwhile Hannah was still in her room with the curtains drawn, looking up at the ceiling all sad. "Okay Hannah you need to get up. You haven't even changed clothes or washed your face!" Amanda exclaimed worriedly.

"I don't feel like getting up today Amanda," Hannah said sadly.

"Hey listen I know you're upset about your amulet getting stolen but you still need to take care of yourself!" Amanda explained.

"Yeah Hannah you can't just stop taking care of yourself just because your amulet is gone," Hannah heard Jenny say.

Hannah sat up and looked towards her door and saw her friends coming into her room. "Guys, what are you all doing here?" Hannah asked.

"We were worried about you so we wanted to come to see how you were doing," Jake explained.

"Guys, I'm fine, alright, you all don't need to worry about me," Hannah replied, trying to reassure her friends.

"Hannah, we know you're not. You're saying the same thing my little sister does when she tries keeping how she feels away from our parents," Erick explained.

"Guys I swear I'm fine alright?" Hannah asked.

"Hannah you might say you're fine but we all know you're not. I know you're upset over losing your amulet, but don't worry we're going to get it back," Iris tried reassuring Hannah.

"But we don't know what Shade has done with it and we don't know if either he or Adrienne had destroyed it yet," Hannah explained with worry in her voice.

"Don't worry Hannah, your amulet can't be destroyed; it has a very powerful magical barrier protecting it," Iris explained.

"Okay well that helps me feel better a little bit, but that's not the only thing I'm upset about," Hannah said.

"Really? What else are you upset about? I'm sure whatever it is we can help you out with it," Lila said.

"Well last night when I came back up here from watching Transformers Prime and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles I saw that the science project Miss Celine entrusted me with was missing from its container," Hannah explained.

"WHAT!? OH NO! That isn't good!" Ed exclaimed.

"Wow Ed I'm sure it's around here somewhere, after all it's some sorta liquid jelly looking thing. It's not like it grew legs and walked away," Josh said, trying to reassure them.

"But I looked everywhere around my room and I couldn't find it! If I don't give it back to Miss Celine then I'm going to be in a lot of trouble," Hannah explained.

"Hey, hey Hannah it won't help you if you constantly worry about it. Why don't we watch some shows? When you mentioned Transformers Prime and TMNT I instantly wanted to watch both shows," Josh explained.

"Yeah I love those shows as well, they're awesome!" Jake said.

"Um guys can I ask something?" Iris asked.

"Sure what is it?" Josh asked.

"What is TMNT and Transformers Prime?" Iris asked.

When Josh heard that he ran up to Iris, grabbed her by the arms and screamed, "WHAT? HOW COULD YOU NOT KNOW ABOUT TWO OF THE MOST AMAZING SHOWS MADE IN HISTORY!"

"Hey Josh! I don't mind if you're visiting my daughter but please be quiet. I had a long day at work yesterday and I'm tired so please be quiet!" everyone heard Hannah's dad call out.

"Sorry! I'll be more quiet!" Josh apologized feeling embarrassed that he woke Hannah's dad up.

"Anyway Hannah, do you have the shows recorded?" Josh asked.

"Yeah I do, my brother and little sister also like to watch the shows as well," Hannah explained.

"Good! Come on Iris we're going to show you the greatest animated shows of all time!" Josh said then grabbed Iris's hand and took her down stairs.

"Wow! Okay, Josh seemed very serious about this even more so than school," Hannah said.

"Yeah when it comes to these shows he takes things seriously, he really does love them," Lila said.

"Hey, maybe we should all watch them. I think it'll help you feel a bit better, and we can also help you find the experiment later," Jane said.

"... Okay I think it'll help me out a bit, just let me change into something more appropriate than just a nightgown," Hannah said.

"Alright but be down stairs otherwise we'll start without you," Eirck said jokingly.

Hannah smiled and her friends along with their animal guides all left her room allowing her to change in peace. Hannah then got up, closed her bedroom door, asked Amanda to look away as she didn't like anyone to watch her change, whether they are a girl or a boy, if they were here she didn't want them to watch her change.

So Amanda turned around and waited for Hannah to change into her regular clothes. After Hannah got her normal clothes on she got her hoodie off of the chair and put it on. However when she put it on she felt something strange in the back; she felt something cold and had the consistency of jelly. So she took her hoodie off and looked inside, but she didn't see anything. She shrugged it off thinking it was nothing and just put her hoodie back on. She then put Amanda on her shoulder and went downstairs to watch some TV with her friends.

Meanwhile in the Shadow realm, Adrienne was watching over a mining operation with a smile on her face. The mines were full of dark crystals that she and her father use to create their weapons as well as fuel their workers and slaves.

Adrienne looked down at some of the Shadow slaves that were in view and saw them working tirelessly away in the mines. She smiled as the slaves were once citizens of Iris's kingdom and now they lost all positive emotions and were slaves to her and her father.

"Hey Adrienne, you wanted to see me?" Adrienne heard Melanie ask.

"Yes I did, I want you to go to earth and find the escaped experiment and bring it to me," Adrienne explained.

"Oh really?... Um well I'm not sure about that," Melanie said with a bit of fear in her voice.

"And why not? Do you have a problem? Then I would greatly love to hear it," Adrienne said in a fake sweet tone.

"Well um... doesn't it represent fear and can make someone hallucinate their worst fear, I'm not so sure about retrieving it," Melanie explained.

"That is the exact reason we need it! It will give us the advantage over the Rainbow Squads!" Adrienne explained.

"I know but still it might be unstable if it was able to break out of its containment unit," Melanie explained.

"And I don't care! It will obey me and you will go to earth and you WILL go get it NOW!" Adrienne demanded angrily.

The tone in Adrienne's voice told Melanie that she shouldn't test her patience any longer unless she wanted to be turned into one of the Shadow slaves herself. So Melanie left for earth without another word and with fear coursing through her of both Adrienne and the experiment she was sent to collect.

Meanwhile back on Earth, The Squads were all watching the first season of Transformers Prime as they had just finished the first season of TMNT. Iris was fascinated by how well both animated shows were. Normally back in her kingdom Iris's people would use their magic to play a show like this. However on earth things were much more complicated as humans had to use other methods to make shows. Her kingdom also didn't have technology so it was also very fascinating to her.

However there was one thing that had Iris quite stumped. It was the character Starscream. She was confused as to whether or not he was a boy or a girl as his body looked like a woman's but the other characters were using he/him pronouns when referring to him. "Um Josh I'm kinda confused on Starscream, are they a boy or a girl? Their body is making it difficult for me to tell," Iris explained.

"Stars is a dude and I understand why you're confused. I thought he was a girl the first time I watched the show, along with other fans on the internet," Josh explained.

"Oh okay that's good to know, thanks for explaining it to me," Iris said.

"Well the way entertainment is made here on earth is quite fascinating. Jake has many forms of entertainment in his room back at his place!" Paccia exclaimed.

"I agree but Jane'sss form of entertainment is pretty sssimilar to what we had back home, asss ssshe readsss a lot," Kate explained.

"Well I quite like Erick's form of entertainment. He plays, as he says it, hard core rock music!" Akira explained.

"Fascinating! Ed here has many forms of entertainment. I'm assuming that it's because his parents have a large sum of money," Amara explained.

"Yeah my parents do what they can to keep me from getting bored, but they still give me what I need the most, they give me love and attention," Ed explained. Just then Ed's phone started ringing and when he looked he saw that it was Catherine calling him. He picked up and put her on speaker phone so that everyone else could hear her.

"Hey Ed, is anyone else in the room with you?" Catherine asked.

"We're in Hannah's house right now, her parents are sleeping in as they worked late, her brother is in his room, and her little sister is sleeping in as well," Ed explained.

"Okay well I called because I needed to tell you that a new shadow has appeared in the Springfield wildlife center!" Catherine explained quickly.

"Wait, how do you know that?!" Ed asked.

"I came here with your father as he was called here for the grand opening. However, before he could cut the ribbon, one of the shadow generals showed up and used a Night orb on one of the guests who started complaining about spilling their ice cream!" Catherine explained.

"Oh no, how can we stop the shadow without Hannah's help!" Jenny asked and unintentionally made Hannah a bit upset.

"We're just going to have to do our best at stopping it!" Jake explained.

"Yeah Jake's right we might be down a squad but we're still the Rainbow Squads! We have a job to do and we're going to do it!" Jane explained giving the others motivation.

"Yeah, let's do this and try to stop the shadow!" Josh exclaimed.

"Hey I'm coming as well! I might not have my magic anymore but I'm still a part of this team!" Hannah said.

"Are you sure about that? I mean I don't mind you being there but you can't define yourself without your magic Hannah," Jake explained.

"I know but I'm not going to just sit around while my friends are out there fighting for the sake of our city and home!" Hannah explained.

"Okay but don't get involved in the fight please! The last thing we need is you getting hurt," Jake explained letting Hannah know he was worried about her safety.

"Okay I won't but I'll still be there as I'm worried about all of you as well," Hannah explained.

They all smiled at that and then left the house to get to the wildlife center to stop the shadow. Meanwhile Daniel was in his room playing video games, when he saw his little sister and her friends leaving the house. "That's odd, I wonder where they're going?" Daniel asked himself.

"Hey dude what's up?" Daniel heard one of his friends ask in the chat.

"Oh nothing, my little sister and her friends just left the house, and I was just curious on where they were going, that's all," Daniel explained.

"Eh I'm sure it's nothing my dude," Daniel's friend explained.

"I know... but ever since we moved here I've noticed that Hannah's been acting kinda strange, she's been more secretive than she's normally been," Daniel explained.

"I'm sure it's nothing, your sis might just be going out with her friends to have a good time in the city. After all there's a lot of things to do there, more so than here in the countryside," Daniel's friend explained.

"I know but I just have this brotherly gut feeling that there's something she's not telling me. As her big brother it's my job to protect my younger siblings when my parents can't, so I can't help but feel like Hannah's hiding something from us," Daniel explained.

"Well you're not hiding from me HA!" Daniel's friend said and then killed him in the game.

"What the! Agh! So it was you the whole time! You were the killer!" Daniel exclaimed annoyed with his friend for killing him.

"Ah Yes I was!" his friend said triumphantly in his victory.

"Hmm.. Well then let's go for another round and I'll be victorious this time!" Daniel said confidently.

"Ha that's what you said the last five rounds and yet you always died to me!" Daniel's friend explained.

"Well then like they say, sixth time the charm," Daniel said then started another round of the game.

Meanwhile the Squad arrived at the wildlife center thanks to the help of a taxi that Lila was able to hail down. They all got out of the taxi and Ed gave the driver the payment before they went into the center. They saw a big shadow bear tearing the place up but thankfully they didn't see anyone in the area.

"Okay let's stop this shadow!" Jake said.

"RAINBOW POWER ACTION!" The Squads, minus Hannah, shouted transformed into their Rainbow Squad forms.

Hannah however stayed out of sight of the shadow, a prerequisite of Jake, but she felt awful that there wasn't anything she could do to help them.

"Oh why hello there Squads. It's so nice to see you all again, especially you Light Blue!" Melanie said.

"Cut the crap Melanie! Why did you stop the mayor from officially opening up the center?!" Erick asked demandingly.

"Yeah this center is going to help out a lot of unfortunate animals who need it dearly!" Jenny exclaimed.

"Yeah do you know how many animals on earth are indeed of help! I've seen lots of news about animals needing help when Jenny's parents have the TV on!" Dillon explained.

"Hmm well last time I checked, I don't care about the animals! HA!" Melanie exclaimed mockingly.

"But Marry you love animals! Don't you remember when we were seven you saw a little baby bunny in need of help getting back to its momma?" Iris asked sadly after hearing her friend say that.

When Melanie heard that the memory started resurfacing along with positive emotions. However the night orb that Adrienne put in her heart stopped them before they could come back fully and they were once again suppressed back down. "I don't know what you're talking about! Now Shadow DESTROY THEM!" Melanie commanded.

The Shadow bear roared and went after them. Jake summoned his shield and used it to protect himself from the shadow paw that tried to attack him. Jenny meanwhile summoned her bow and arrows and tried to shoot the shadow with an arrow. However the shadow saw it coming and used its paws to swat the arrow away like it was an annoying fly. Just then a purple blast hit the side of the shadow. It looked over to see Erick with his guitar out and playing it. Another blast came out of the guitar and it hit the shadow in the face. Josh summoned his gun and fired a few shots at the shadow making it weaker. Lila then used her fabrics and hair to hold the shadow down and keep it immobilized.

"Okay now let's end this once and for all!" Jake exclaimed.

"Um... Jake, how can we end it?" Jane asked.

"Rainbow collision that's how!" Jake declared.

"Good idea but um one problem with that! We can't do it without Hannah's help!" Jane explained.

Jake then remembered that Hannah didn't have her powers anymore and that meant they couldn't do Rainbow Collision.

"HAHAHAH! Looks like you all aren't so useful without your leader to help you! She's pretty useless without her amulet or powers! HAHAHA!' Melanie mocked.

Just then the shadow got out of Lila's bounds and started attacking them again. When Hannah heard what Melanie said and saw her friends getting attacked she felt so awful that there wasn't anything she could do to help. "What can I do? I don't have my powers anymore! I can't help them out!" Hannah said feeling a large amount of despair and fear for her friends.

"I can help you out with this," Hannah heard someone whisper into her ear. Before Hannah could look around to see who had whispered in her ear a pink mass came out of her jacket and then started covering her whole body. Hannah tried to scream when she felt the cold jelly like mass cover her body but the mass covered her face muffling her screams. Meanwhile her friends all got cornered by the Shadow, which was currently standing over them.

"OH CRUD OH CRUD OH CRUD WHAT DO WE DO?!" Josh asked in a panic.

"I don't know we can't destroy the shadow without Rainbow Collision!" Jake said unsure of what to do.

The shadow then raised its paw indicating that it was going in for the kill.

"AHH If this is the end TELL KATELYN I LOVE HER!" Josh exclaimed in a panic.

"How can we do that?" Erick asked.

"Um... I don't know AHHH!" Josh screamed as the shadow paws came down at them.

They all closed their eyes in fear and waited for the oncoming impact. However it didn't come, they opened their eyes and saw that a pink rope was holding it back.

"Not so fast the Rainbow Squads aren't going out that easily!" the group heard Hannah declare.

They looked behind the shadow and saw her holding it back, but what was strange was that her whole body was covered in a pink mass that shaped itself into a suit. The belt was made into a pattern of hearts and roses, a big dark pink heart was formed on the chest, her full head mask of her hair formed into looking like a rose and the eyes were in the shape of a heart. The boots also had a heart pattern going up to the top, and her gloves had hearts on the palm.

"What the heck?! Hannah is that you?!" Lila asked.

"Yes it is! Now you all just sit back and watch me work my new powers!" Hannah exclaimed then pulled the shadow away from her friends.

She threw the rope to fling the shadow up into the air before jumping into the air herself, two angel wings burst out of her back and she flew right up to the shadow. Hannah slammed kicked the shadow in the stomach as hard as she could, sending it flying right back to the ground. The shadow hit the ground and was knocked out unconscious.

Hannah's hand transformed into a pink spear and she took aim right at its heart and threw the spear. The spear penetrated the night orb and Hannah pulled it back tearing the orb right out of the shadow's heart.

Cracks started appearing all over the shadow's body and it broke apart like a chick hatching from its egg. The little girl who was the shadow immediately sat up holding her chest as she felt like she was poked really hard there and looked around the place.

"Where am I!? And where's my momma?!" the little girl asked, scared and confused.

"Oh don't worry I can take you to her!" Iris said, trying to calm the little girl down.

"Really? Thank you, miss," the girl said, before grabbing Iris's hand.

Iris started leading the little girl outside while also looking back at Hannah, not knowing why, but feeling rather anxious about what her new found powers.

Hannah meanwhile was loving it as she once again had powers and could help out her friends on their mission to protect earth. She looked around for Melanie but couldn't find her anywhere so she assumed that Melanie must have made a break for it. "Hmm, smart move otherwise I would have shown her a bad time," Hannah said to herself.

"Wow! Hannah, that was Epic!" Hannah heard Erick say.

Hannah looked back and saw her friends all running up to her and they all seemed amazed at what she had just done. She floated down and smiled at what her friends had said. "I know right and this is apparently the science experiment I thought lost!" Hannah explained.

"Wait what? The experiment is this?!" Ed asked, surprised and confused.

"Yeah it is! Oh wait till Miss Celine hears about this! She'll be so happy to hear that she discovered a living creature!" Hannah exclaimed excitedly.

Josh however had an anxious look on his face that didn't go unnoticed by his sister.

"Hey Bro you good?" LIila asked.

"I'm fine, just anxious about this thing. I don't know why but I feel like something is seriously wrong here," Josh explained.

"Well I think it looks cool and hey it's pink and cute, that's good right?" Lila asked.

"Yeah It's cute but I just have that gut feeling that something is not right with that thing... like this feeling of fear crawling up my back," Josh explained as he felt shivers going up his back.
