Two days had passed and now the Rainbow Squads were on their last day out before they had to go home. That was because the next day would be their first day of the new school year. While they were sad that school would be starting up again, it did feel good to be returning home.

"Man was this adventure something, just one more kingdom and then we head back after warning them," Josh said as he packed his things back in his backpack.

"Yeah bro, this adventure was something, but it's going to be nice to go home," Lila said while holding Faith and scratching her head.

"Well I'm looking forward to being able to get some rest before having to go to school tomorrow," Jake explained.

"Me to man, I just wanna unwind and blast my music into my ears before school," Erick said.

"Well let's get going guys as all we have left is to warn the trolls about the invasion, after them we can all go home," Iris explained.

"Yeah! I haven't seen them in a while so it'll be nice to see them again!" Dillon exclaimed.

"Yeah, that kingdom is filled with so much fun and amazing activities! I'm glad you decided to come with us Freya, you don't leave your kingdom often," Oberon explained as he looked over to Freya.

After the invasion with Jack and John, Freya wanted to come along and help out. She also hoped to see them again in the hopes of teaching them a lesson for messing with her younger sisters.

"Hey If I get the chance to teach those boys another lesson for messing with my family then I'll take it!" Freya explained.

"Well let's go then! I got the key ready! So we can go to the troll's kingdom!" Iris explained happily.

Everyone grabbed their bags and waited for Iris to open the portal to the Troll's kingdom.

Back in the Shadow Realm the Shadow shifter was sneaking out of the castle with the mirror and a dimensional key hidden away in a black cloak they were wearing. Today was the day they would escape from this world and go to earth. Again they wished they could feel emotions so they could understand how it felt to be both excited and nervous. No Shadow shifter had ever tried to defy the kingdom as those who tried were swiftly executed. So they hoped that with Adrienne being sick and all the shadow generals occupied with the invasion on the Troll kingdom they could escape.

'Alright! All I gotta do is get out of the castle walls and hide in the forest. Once I'm there I can go to earth and be free at last, of course I will need to find the Squads in their school and ask for help. Thankfully with my shapeshifting abilities I can blend in well with other humans,' the Shadow shifter thought to themselves.

The Shadow shifter soon made their way outside of the castle, now all that was left was to get out of the walls and they'd be home free.

"HEY! WHERE DO YOU THINK YOUR GOING!" the Shadow shifter heard a loud booming voice yell out to them.

They turned around and when they saw the person who yelled at them, if they had blood it would be frozen. The person looked down at them with a blood bolling angry glare. The shadow shifter stood there frozen to the spot as the person looked at them.

"I um, I was requested to get medicine for Adrienne," the Shadow shifter quickly explained.

"Oh really? Even if you were the one who poisoned her!" the person asked angrily.

"W-What are you talking about?!" the Shadow shifter asked.

"Don't play dumb with me! I searched through that secret room of yours and found your plans! You poisoned Adrienne in order to make her weak to the point where she couldn't use her magic," the person explained angrily. When the shadow shifter heard that they knew they had to leave right away.

If they didn't then they'd be executed for sure, they didn't want to die just yet, so they turned around and made a run for it.

"NO YOU DON'T! GUARDS! EXECUTE THAT SHADOW SHIFTER!" the person commanded the guards.

The guards bursted out of the castle and chased after the Shadow shifter. They realized that they'd never make it to the forest, so they pulled out the dimensional key and used it to open a portal. The portal led to earth and the Shadow shifter jumped through the portal and went to earth.

When the portal closed the guards all stopped, none of them were able to get to the portal before it closed so now they waited for their next orders. The person who commanded them to attack slammed their fists on the window frame angrily as the now traitor had escaped.

"Ugh! Guards! I want you all to find that traitor and when you do! Kill him for what he's done to our Princess!" the Person commanded.

The guards all bowed and went back into the castle and used their keys to go to earth to find the traitor. The Person meanwhile, decided to check up on some things, and after that pay a visit to Adrienne as they felt like she would like to see them again.

Meanwhile in the Troll kingdom, the King, Queen, and their son, were all checking in on the preparations on their kingdom's six hundredth anniversary. The family wanted everything to go well, and nothing to stop the preparations.

"Your majesty's, I have something to inform you!" one of their guards called out as they ran up to the family.

"Hey hey, Ken explain to us what's going on," the king said.

"Sire princess Iris, has been spotted coming to our kingdom, and she's not alone. She's also with the other royal children, and about eight human children who all have the Rainbow Amulets," Ken explained.

"What? But why are they coming? And why has Princess Iris come back after all this time?" the queen asked.

"I Don't know, should I send out a squadron to bring them here?" Ken asked.

"Yes, I'm curious to see what Iris and the other Royal children are doing here. I also want to know why human children have the Rainbow Amulets," the king explained.

"Understood sire, I'll have a squadron go out there at once and see to bring them to you all," Ken said.

He left in order to send a Squadron to the group and bring them to the kingdom. When Ken left, the Prince tugged on his mother's dress, getting her attention.

"Hmm? Yes Rowdy, what do you need?" The Queen asked her son.

Rowdy then started signing to his mother, as he suffers from no voice syndrome. In other words he was born without a voice so he uses other means to speak to others.

He signed, "Mom, what do you think happened to Iris and her family? They hadn't been in contact with us in two years."

Rowdy's mother said, "I'm unsure but I hope Iris will have an explanation as to what had happened to her and her family."

Rowdy felt a little better, but he still worried as to what had happened to Iris and her family.

Meanwhile the Group were walking towards the Troll kingdom in order to inform them about the invasion. However they all keep on getting side tracked by the beautiful scenery as this kingdom was so colorful. The trees grew in twists and turns, and were a variety of colors, the leaves were also very big and just as colorful. To the Squads it was beautiful as they had never seen such amazing plants. The flowers were also different shapes and colors, which was also very beautiful.

"Wow Iris, this kingdom is so beautiful!" Jenny exclaimed happily.

"Yeah it is... it reminds me of what my home used to be like," Iris said sadly as she remembered her home.

The group all gave Iris a sadden look as she peered up at the sky, deep in her thoughts. Hannah walked up to her and gave her a warm hug; this took Iris by surprise as she wasn't expecting to be hugged without warning. However she didn't object to it and returned the hug that Hannah gave to her. The others all joined in and comforted Iris as they felt bad that she lost her home and still hadn't got it back. However they hoped that they'd be able to restore it to its former glory and reunite Iris with her loved ones.

"Ahh, thanks guys I needed this," Iris said.

"Anything for a friend Iris, and don't worry we'll save your kingdom, and loved ones before you know it," Jenny said reassuringly.

Iris smiled even more and hugged everyone tighter. They stayed like that for a moment before separating from each other. The group then continued on their way to the Troll kingdom as they needed to get there before the Shadows did. Unfortunately as they were walking they heard a very loud explosion and heard screams coming from the direction of the kingdom.

"What in the world?! I thought We'd have more time!" Ed screamed, with worry present in his voice.

"I thought so too! Why are screams and explosions coming from the kingdom?!" Josh asked, equally as worried as Ed.

"Hehehe! Maybe because we decided to change the game!" the group heard someone say.

They looked up and saw Jack floating above them. They groaned when they saw him as he gave them all the creeps.

"Oh god not you again!" Lila exclaimed angrily.

"Yes indeed! I'm so pleased that none of you have forgotten me!" Jack said while hugging himself.

"Who wouldn't forget a creep like you?" Jane asked sarcastically.

"Yeah what she said, you're impossible to forget," Erick said, agreeing with Jane.

"Hehe! Well true, but still I'm so glad you all are here! We've already captured the royal Troll Family and claimed their kingdom's artifact. Now we have annoying brats here, so all that's left is to capture you all and we'll be successful!" Jack explained with a creepy grin on his face.

"WHAT! NO NOT THE TROLLS! I CAN'T HAVE SOMEONE ELSE GOING THROUGH WHAT I DID!" Iris cried out in a panic when she heard what Jack had said.

"IRIS! DON'T LOSE IT! After all! This battle hasn't really started yet! No matter what, we'll never allow them to bring darkness to this world! No other kingdom will face what yours did iris! Come on guys! Let's go and fight!" Hannah exclaimed, with a fighting spirit present in her voice.

"Yeah She's right! They haven't won at all! We won't allow them to win ever! Let's go!" Jake exclaimed with the same amount of spirit Hannah had.

The whole team nodded and the Squads all shouted, "RAINBOW POWER ACTION!"

They all transformed into their Rainbow Squad forms. This time their outfits took on a more fun having appeal, they were much more brightly colored with funny patterns on them. The girls' hair even took on cute styles, styles such as, Jane getting a french braid, Lila's hair getting turned into a tornado pigtail, Jenny's bun taking on the look of a heart, and Hannah's hair turned into a dutch braid.

"Wow! We look amazing! And look at our hair! It's so cute!" Lila exclaimed excitedly as she admired her hair.

"Yeah, my hair looks amazing too!" Jane said as she admired her hair as well.

"Wow! You all look so cool! And Josh, your outfit is so cute!" Melody said as she admired Josh.

The compliment made him blush a little and he lightly thanked her but was secretly screaming for joy on the inside.

"Ugh! You all look ridiculous! Honestly, why do those amulets dress you all in such awful outfits?" Jack asked angrily.

"Hey Like your outfits, any better man!" Erick exclaimed angrily.

"Ugh whatever! At least I have class and style! Now SHADOWS, BROTHER, AND YOU THREE! ATTACK!" Jack called out.

Just then Shadow monsters, John, Shade, Melanie, and Samuel all appeared from behind the tree line and attacked. The group all fought back, because of how fast they were attacked none of them thought of a plan. So they just stuck with fighting back and not getting captured.

As they were fighting Hannah managed to catch a glimpse of a cage, and someone in it. She looked and saw what she believed to be the royal troll family in a cage. She assumed that they weren't transformed yet as Adrienne wanted to do so herself. So she decided to help them out by letting them out of the cage and she hoped they could help them out a bit as well. So she ran past the shadows and used her sword to slice through any shadow that tried to get in her way.

However before she even reached the cage she was tackled by John from behind. She felt the barrel of his gun on the back of her head which made her freeze up.

"Hey Squads! Royal brats! Listen up! I got something to show you all!" John called out.

Everyone stopped fighting when they heard John calling out to them. When Hannah's friends all saw her on the ground with John holding his gun to her head.

"Now you all will surrender to us and I won't hurt her," John explained, he smiled at this wondering what Hannah's friends would choose.

"HANNAH! YOU CAN'T DO THAT TO HER!" Jake screamed.

"Oh I can! Now what will it be, kids? Will you surrender? Or will you all lose your precious friend?" John asked.

"Hehe Oh I can't wait to see what you all will say! Honestly you all will decide to save her life. After all that is what love makes you do. It's why I don't have love for anyone! It makes you weak and because of that if you have love for others it'll allow your enemies to take advantage of it. Therefore I dont have love for anyone! All I have is hate! And hate is all me and my brother need! After all! Iris's love for her family and friend's is why she won't fight them!" Jack explained.

"NO! YOUR WRONG ABOUT IT! LOVE ISN'T A WEAKNESS! IT'S A STRENGTH! MY STRENGTH!" Hannah shouted.

"Hey! Shut up kid! You're in no position to fight back!" John yelled.

"Yes I AM! I'M A RAINBOW SQUAD, THE SQUAD OF LOVE! LOVE GIVES ME MY POWER! I FIGHT FOR LOVE! AND I'LL FIGHT TILL THE VERY END!" Hannah screamed.

"Yeah! She's right! Love is what makes you strong! You might think it makes others weak but you couldn't be more wrong!" Jane declared.

"Yeah if I couldn't feel love then I'd be pretty miserable! Because I'd be missing out on all the amazing things it can give you!" Erick declared.

"Like the fuzzy feeling you get when your mom gives you cookies and milk on a cold winter day!" Jenny said.

"Or that feeling you get when you make your whole family laugh on game night!" Josh explained.

"That feeling you have when you receive a special gift from your best friend!" Lila said.

"When you share the wealth you have with those in need!" Ed explained.

"The feeling you have when you know your friends always have your back!" Iris declared.

"When you congratulate a friend for winning a race!" Cen explained.

"When you play with your younger sisters!" Freya said.

"When you have someone there to cheer you up in times of need!" Oberon said.

"And most importantly, when you find that special someone! That someone who you will feel that spark with and know you'll be with them, always!" Melody explained while holding her hands to her heart.

"UGH! All this talk about these feelings is making me sick! WHY DON'T YOU ALL SHUT UP!" Jack screamed.

He tried to attack them, but was stopped by a beam of red light. He looked and saw a rose had appeared and blasted a magical beam at him. He looked down and saw a red aura glowing around Hannah and she soon pushed John off of her. Her eyes were glowing rose red and she looked at Jack with an angry glare.

She jumped on the cage and before Jack could react she let the royal Troll family out. Once they were out the parents tried to get Rowdy to safety. However Rowdy ran up to Jack quickly and punched him in the face. This distracted Jack long enough that he was able to grab a pair of golden gauntlets with red gems in the knuckles that they had stolen. The gauntlets had the ability to increase the wearer's strength greatly, so Rowdy decided to use them to help in the fight.

"Ugh! Shadows get that prince!" Shade commanded.

"And don't forget about the king and queen!" Samuel commanded.

"Yes We need them too! King Lucifer and Princess Adrienne will be very pleased if we bring them all to them!" Melanie explained.

Then shadows all charged at Rowdy, but he put on the gloves and used their magic to catch all the shadows. With his now increased strength he would be able to throw them away so they would leave his home alone. They signed for Hannah to blast at them again to end the fight. While Hannah didn't know sign language she knew what Rowdy was trying to tell her. She summoned a rose again and blasted the pile of Shadows. This caused them to disappear as people hadn't been used to make them.

Her back glowed and a pair of big angel wings appeared, much to everyone's shock and Iris's and the animal guides' joy. She flew up and sent another blast in the direction of Jack and the other shadow generals. However Jack teleported out of the range of the blast and next to his brother. Shade and Samuel also dodged the blast; however, Melanie wasn't able to react on time and she was hit by the powerful blast.

She screamed as she was engulfed by the blast, the darkness and negativity around her heart started to crack. It broke away which as a result changed Melanie back into Marry, and she passed out. Lila saw this and reacted to it quickly by catching her, and holding her bridal style.

"Ugh! We need to leave! She's reached the next phase of her Rainbow Squad powers and what we have is no match for it!" Jack exclaimed.

"Your right brother! Remaining shadows, and you two! Fall back! Tactical retreat! I repeat! Tactical retreat!" John shouted.

Everyone then teleported back to the Shadow kingdom, and once they were gone, Hannah passed out. Hannah fell to the ground but was thankfully caught by Jake. She groaned as she rubbed her head and collected herself.

"Ugh my head... Did we win?" Hannah asks.

"Yes we did love, and it's all thanks to you!" Jake explained.

"Really?" Hannah asked, confused.

"YEAH! AND YOU WERE AWESOME!" Josh screamed.

"And you got wings now! That's epic!" Oberon exclaimed.

"Wait I do?" Hannah asked, confused. She looked at her back and was shocked to see a pair of angel wings that were indeed on her back.

"Wow, okay that's awesome!" Hannah exclaimed.

"It is! And it's great news! It means you've reached the next phase of your Rainbow Squad powers!" Amanda exclaimed.

"Wait, does that mean the rest of us will get wings?" Jane asked.

"Yes, once you all reach the next phase of your powers," Akira explained.

"Amazing! I can't wait to be able to fly with wings!" Josh exclaimed.

"Me too bro! I wonder how I'll look with wings?" Lila asked.

"I think you all would look great with wings," the troll queen said.

The group then looked over and saw the king and queen coming up to them.

"Thank you all, you all have saved us and our kingdom. While there was still some damage done you all had managed to save our lives, and lives are irreplaceable," the king explained.

"Hmm, w-what happened?" Marry asked as she came to.

Iris looked over and when she saw that Marry was back to normal she almost erupted into tears.

"Huh? I-Iris? O-Oh my god! I remember everything! I'm so sorry! I-I hurt you! I-I said so many awful things to you! I-" Marry was saying as she got out of Lila's arms and walked up to her friend. However Iris cut her off and gave her friend the biggest hug ever as she cried into her shoulder.

"That doesn't matter! You weren't yourself! It was that negativity in your heat that made you like that! I forgive you Marry! And all I care about is that you're back!" Iris explained as she sobbed, happy to have her best friend at last.

Marry started crying as well and she hugged her best friend back. Most of all she was happy to finally be free from her prison that she was stuck in for so long.

"I'm glad that you're back as well, Marry," everyone heard Apollo say.

They all looked and saw that Apollo had just come through a portal, and he wasn't alone as there was a Shadow shifter behind him.

"WHAT THE! APOLLO THERE'S A SHADOW SHIFTER BEHIND YOU!" Erick screamed as he and the others all got into a fighting position.

"I know, there's no need to fight, they're not like the others. They want to be good and be able to feel emotions. They had also brought a little something. I think you'll like Iris," Apollo explained.

"Wait they did?" Iris asked.

"Yes, but right now I think it's time for the Rainbow Squad leader to be selected," Apollo said.

Everyone looked at each other before looking back at Apollo, and waited for what he had to say.

"Over the last two weeks I have received updates about how you all act in battle, and now I'm confident that I know who's ready to become the leader," Apollo then walked up to Hannah and took on his human form.

"Hannah, you have shown excellent leadership over the last two weeks, and with that I proudly announce you as the new leader of the Rainbow Squads!" Apollo declared.

Hannah was quiet for a moment before saying, "Thank you Apollo! I won't let any of you down and I'll do my best as a leader, and as a friend."

Apollo smiled at that and everyone gave her a round of applause.

Rowdy then signed "Hey, why don't you all join us for our kingdom's anniversary? We can also turn it into a celebration."

"Sorry Rowdy but due to the damage, the celebration will have to be moved to a different date as we'll need to fix up our kingdom," The queen explained to her son.

"Yes and the Squads will have to return back to earth, I think they've spent enough time away from their world," Apollo explained.

Rowdy sighed before signing "Can I at least go with them to earth? After what just happened I want to help out as I feel like this fight is far from over."

"Hmm, of course son, you can go with them. We'll let you know when the celebration will take place," The king said.

Rowdy jumped for joy at this and sighed for everyone to wait for him as he collected his things, before running off to the castle. After Rowdy left, Marry looked up at the sky sadly, and Iris took notice of this.

"Hey Marry you alright?" Iris asked.

"It's just that... will we ever see our home again?" Marry asked.

Iris was quiet for a moment before saying, "Yes we will, we have the Rainbow Squads by our side now, and we'll save everyone."

Marry smiled and felt a lot better at that, she hoped that her friend's words were true and they would indeed see their home again.

Back in the Shadow kingdom, Adrienne was just informed about what happened and was furious that one of her generals was changed back. The Shadows who informed her left her room as she raged about the news and failure.

"UGH! USELESS! USELESS! USELESS! I CAN'T BELIEVE THOSE IDIOTS HAD FAILED ME! Ugh!... Cough Cough Cough... If I wasn't so sick I'd destroy something!" Adrienne said angrily.

She heard the creek of her bedroom doors opening and shot up angrily. She was going to yell at the one who dared come into her room when she was angry, and didn't bother to knock first. However that stopped when she saw who it was, and she did not expect to see them so soon.

"My dear Adrienne, you shouldn't waste your energy, just yet. After all, my heir to the throne must be at her strongest when she's ready for the battle," Lucifer explained as he came into his daughter's room.

"D-Dad!? You're finally awake?! After all this time?!" Adirenne asked shocked to see her father.

"Yes I am, and don't worry my child, we shall crush the Rainbow Squads, and destroy all positive emotions. But for now, you get your rest, you'll need it if you want to get better," Lucifer explained as he laid Adrienne back down into her bed.

She complied and fell asleep to rest and recover her powers and energy. Lucifer smiled as he tucked his daughter into bed and allowed her to sleep. He then looked at you, the reader and smiled evilly at you.

"You readers be prepared, as I have plans for the Rainbow Squads. You all will soon say goodbye to your favorite heroes and your dearly beloved emotions," Lucifer said to you. He left Adrienne's Room and went to plan out his next move on the Rainbow Squads and destroy them once and for all.
