Spring break soon arrived and now the squads were waiting outside the twin's house as Iris still hadn't arrived yet. Just then the twin's mother and step father came outside bringing their things with them.

"Hey twin's mom," Hannah said, greeting the twins' mom.

"Please dear just call me Abmel and my husband here Jason," Abmel said kindly.

"OK Abmel, it's nice to meet you," Hannah said.

"It's nice to meet you as well. I'm also so happy that you all are coming with us to meet my sister as well," Abmel said.

"Yeah well my mom said that it'd be good for me to get some fresh air as I play too many video games," Jake said.

"Well yeah, you kinda do," Jane said.

"Hey I wonder where Iris is? She should've been here by now." Jenny said.

"Oh she's over there," Ed said while pointing at the end of the sidewalk.

The rest of the group looked and saw Iris running towards them with a suitcase in hand. "Hey guys... pant... sorry... pant... that I'm late. I just wanted to pack some nice things as I want to make a good impression on Aunt Lollie," Iris explained while trying to catch her breath from running.

"Hey it's ok and you didn't need to do that. Aunt Lollie doesn't care what you wear," Lila explained.

"Well that's good to know," Iris said happily.

"Oh hello you must be Iris, I'm Lila and Josh's mother, Abmel," Abmel introduced herself.

"It's nice to meet you Abmel." Iris said.

"Hey honey, the car's ready. So all of you should start getting in and then we're off to the cherry farm," Jason called out from the van window.

"Alright honey we're on our way. Come on kids let's go. I'm sure Lollie has prepared a delicious pie for all of you along with ice cream," Abmel said cheerfully.

"Ok. Come on, let's go! I want pie and ice cream!" Josh exclaimed before running to the van.

"I CALL SHOTGUN!" Erick shouted before running up to the front of the car and being stopped by Abmel.

"Sorry Erick but the shotgun is for me and Jason," Abmel explained calmly.

Erick groaned a bit before heading into the seat behind Abmel. The rest of the group all got in the car after putting their stuff in any space they could find and Jason started the van and drove off.

Abmel then put in a disk that had an audiobook of the holy Bible. This made Erick put on his headphones and began playing heavy metal music as he wasn't interested in hearing anything off the disk. Jane also put on her headphones and put on an audio book as she's more interested in murder mystery stuff than what was in the holy Bible.

"Hey Um what's with Erick and Jane?" Iris asked Lila.

"Oh Erick's an atheist so he's not interested in what's in the holy Bible, and Jane just prefers murder mysteries or horror novels. She's basically into anything that's dark," Lila explained.

"Oh well, I don't know what an atheist is so mind explaining it to me?" Iris asked.

"It basically means Erick doesn't believe in god so he gets bored when we talk about it really fast," Lila explained.

"Oh well thanks for explaining that to me Lila," Iris said before leaning back into her seat.

Meanwhile in the Shadow realm Shade was outside standing on the pedestal of the old castle. He was clutching onto something inside his shirt. Just then Adrienne came out and she was holding on to a black spear that was made of black mist.

"Shade, what are you doing?" Adrienne asked.

Just then Shade whipped around and Adrienne saw that his eyes were turning green again and his hair was going from black to white.

"Iris! Where is she? WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER!?" Light asked while screaming as he was waking up from the darkness.

This made Adrienne react quickly as he was about to attack her. So she grabbed him by the arm and plunged the dark spear into his heart. The spear then evaporated and the darkness spread all over Light again and he returned to being Shade. His eyes were now red again and his hair went black again.

Adrienne sighed, crossed her arms and said, "I'm gonna need a stronger force of darkness if I don't want this happening again before Lucifer wakes up from his slumber that he went into after he weakened himself from conquering that now dead Kingdom of those positive and colorful fools!"

Shade lifted his head up and then teleported away to go destroy the rainbow squads.

"Hmm well looks like he's back to being Shade and soon all other humans will join us and serve my master," Adrienne said before laughing maniacally.

Meanwhile back on earth at the Cherry farm, Lolie was preparing the table set for when her sister, niece, nephew, and their friends arrived.

"Hey Lollie dear, are you excited to see everyone again?" Grandma asked.

"Why yes of course I am, mother. It's been almost a year since I've seen them. Not to mention that Lila and Josh now have two new friends, so I'm excited to meet them," Lollie said cheerfully as she went back inside to see if the pie was ready.

Just then the van came up into the driveway and parked. Everyone got out of the van and Grandma smiled when she saw that it was her second daughter, her family, and the kids.

"Hi Grandma!" both Lila and Josh exclaimed as they ran up to their grandma and hugged her.

"Hello Josh and Lila. You two have gotten so much older since the last time I saw you both, oh and are the others here your friends?" Grandma asked.

"Yeah they are and our two new friends are Hannah and Iris here." Josh said while walking behind Hannah and Iris and putting his arms around them.

"Oh well it's nice to meet you two. Lollie's inside checking up on the pie so she'll be out here soon," Grandma said.

As if on cue Lollie came outside with a hot pie in her hands. "Oh Lila, Josh, Abmel, and Jason it's nice to see you all again as well," Lollie said as she put the pie on the table.

"And It's also nice to see your friends as well. I hope you all have a great time here," Lollie said with a smile on her face.

"It's nice to see you again, Lollie. How have things been here?" Lila asked.

"Things have been great here. It's so peaceful here and I like it that way," Lollie said while looking up to the sky.

"Yeah I bet it has been my sister, although things in the city have been strange," Abmel said while rubbing her arms.

Lollie then looked back to her sister and said, "Yeah I've heard. Strange shadow creatures have been showing up out of the blue along with eight heroes. That's very strange, very strange indeed," Lollie said.

"Well hey, let's not focus on that. Ok, let's just enjoy some cherry pie because I'm hungry!" Josh exclaimed while taking a seat.

Lollie smiled and took a seat as well along with everyone else and they all got even slices of pie and ticked in.

Later on Jake was out in the cherry farm enjoying the fresh air as it was nice out and it was a peaceful place. He sat there for a while till he heard something like a girl's voice calling out to him. He stood up and looked around and saw nothing till he looked up. There was a portal opening up and saw a green dove falling out of it and she hit him right in the face. Jake then fell to the ground due to the impact. When his vision cleared he saw that the dove was standing on his face. She then started flying and looked at Jake up and down. When she saw his glove she did somersaults and landed on Jake again and hugged his neck with her wings.

"It's you I found you!" she exclaimed.

"Um, What?! Who are you?!" Jake asked, confused.

"Oh right my name is Paccia and I'm your animal guide. Once you've activated your Rainbow Squad power I made it my mission to find a way to earth to help guide you and unlock more of your powers," Paccia explained.

"Wait what? Iris nor Apollo ever said anything about animal guides," Jake said, still confused.

"Wait IRIS AND APOLLO ARE HERE!... Gasp... THAT MEANS THAT OTHERS DID SURVIVE! I KNEW IT! THERE'S NO WAY THAT THE WHOLE KINGDOM WOULD GO DOWN SO EASILY!" Paccia screamed in delight.

"HEY! Calm down ok, I'm kinda confused about you so in order for me to relax, I need you to relax, alright?" Jake asked while holding Paccia who nodded.

"Sorry it's just been two years and I almost lost hope that Iris was still alive, but then myself and the others all sense the Rainbow amulets being activated so it gave us hope that there was still a chance that Lucifer would be defeated," Paccia explained while looking at Jake.

"Wait others?" Jake asked, confused.

"Oh right I forgot there are seven more spirit animals and they're all still in the kingdom, trying to find a way here," Piccia explained.

"Really? I thought that Iris' mother destroyed all the ways here," Jake said, confused.

"Well she did destroy the ways in the portal room in the castle, but there's still other ways that Iris wasn't told about as she was too young," Piccia explained.

"Oh ok." Jake said before setting Piccia down and looking to the sky with a sad look on his face.

"Hey what's wrong?" Piccia asked.

"Well with everything that happened I haven't been able to relax at all," Jake said.

"Oh really?" Piccia asked.

"Yeah I mean I'm a superhero now I have to fight bad guys that are trying to destroy all positive emotions and us. I've been trying to drown it all out with video games but it wasn't helping. So when Lila and Josh said they would come here for spring break I thought it'd help me be at peace with myself. However, no such luck, as I'm worried that we might fail and let Iris and everyone else down. It's a lot to carry on my shoulders. I didn't say anything to my friends as I don't want them to worry," Jake explained letting all his feelings out.

Paccia sat next to Jake for a moment before speaking, "I think you should tell your friends how you're feeling after all it's their job to worry about you as you all are friends. Not to mention that it might help you feel better when you talk about how you're feeling to those who will take the time to listen. It's better to let your feelings out then keep them bottled up inside."

Jake looked at Paccia and thought about what she said and if he should actually go for it. Before Jake could say anything the two heard screaming from the nearby town. Jake shot up and ran as fast as he could to the sound of the screams and Paccia followed him. When the two got there they were shocked to see another shadow monster that took the form of a snake. It was attacking everything it saw and creating absolute chaos.

"Oh crap I hate snakes," Jake said unnerved.

"Well I can agree with you but we need to stop it. Remember Jake it's not a real snake it's a person who was turned into that against their will," Paccia said, trying to calm him down.

"OK I know Paccia and thanks. Now RAINBOW POWER ACTION!" Jake screamed then transformed.

Shade saw this and smiled when he saw it was only one of the squads.

"Hmm hello there Greenie, long time no see huh?" Shade said mockingly.

"Yeah but not enough time Shade." Jake said while glaring at Shade.

Shade just laughed and said "well then if that's the case then allow me to make sure we never have to see each other ever again. Shadow DESTROY HIM!"

The snake then attacked Jake and he managed to dodge the attack. He then attempted to summon his shield to protect himself till his friends arrived, but for some reason it wasn't working.

"What the? Why aren't my powers working?" Jake asked as he looked at his hands confused.

"You're not at peace with yourself. In order for your powers to work you need to calm down and put your mind at ease!" Paccia exclaimed.

Before Jake could say or do anything else the Shadow snake wrapped itself around Jake and started squeezing him. Jake was now panicking as he didnt know if his friends were coming and if they were they wouldn't be here in time to save him.

"JAKE YOU NEED TO CALM DOWN! I know it's hard but the more stressed you are the weaker your powers get. Think about who you're fighting for! It might help you out!" Paccia exclaimed, worried for Jake.

Jake then thought of his family and his friends, but more importantly he thought of Hannah as she was the main reason he was fighting and in this. 'Hannah she means more to men than just a friend. I love her and I'm going to FIGHT FOR HER!' Jake thought to himself.

He then managed to calm himself down and felt more at peace with himself. His amulet then glowed bright green and Paccia smiled at this as Jake had now unlocked a new power.

"Jake you have a new power now, all you need to do is think about where in this area you want to be in," Paccia explained.

When Jake did so he then turned into leaves, which surprised Shade. The leaves then blew to a nearby building's roof and they reformed into Jake again.

"Oh I see you have a new power now, But It won't help you SHADOW!" Shade exclaimed then pointed at Jake and it launched at him.

When Jake saw this he used his shield of Peace and jumped onto the snake's head. He then ran down its body and when he was close to Shade he jumped in for an attack.

Shade panicked and tried to block Jake with his arms, but this allowed Jake to use his shield to slap the orb out of Shade's hands and smash it to the ground. The impact caused the orb to break and all the positive emotions were released, went back into the shadow and transformed back into a man who had a sleeveless shirt on and conveniently a snake tattoo on his right arm.

"You stupid Squad! I'll get you eventually! YOU HEAR ME!" Shade screamed before teleporting away.

Jake sat down on the ground exhausted as the fight was intense and he almost had the air squeezed out of him.

"Great job Jake, I'm so proud of you!' Paccia exclaimed.

"Really? Thanks Paccia, but you helped me out so you deserve some of the glory too," Jake said.

Just then the rest of the squads and Lollie all came running into the town.

"JAKE WHAT HAPPENED? WE ALL HEARD SCREAMING AND WE GOT HERE AS FAST AS WE COULD! ARE YOU OK?!" Lollie asked in a panic.

"I'm ok Lollie everything's fine," Jake reassured Lollie.

"Oh hey Lollie," the man with the tattoo greeted when he saw Lollie.

"Mason, how are you?" Lollie asked.

"I'm doing great. I just stopped by to see my mother and to give you this as I know it's Fern's birthday and I thought you'd like to put this on his altar to honor him," Mason said while handing Lollie a bag.

When she looked in she saw a tea cake in it, this made her smile as Fern loved tea cakes.

"Thank you Mason, if Fern were here he'd appreciate you getting this for him," Lollie thanked while smiling.

"Well I know how hard things have been for you ever since he passed away so I thought this would help you feel better," Mason explained.

"Thank you again Mason, hey why don't you and your mother come by for some pie later?" Lollie asked.

"Thank's Lollie, we'll be there, you all have a great day," Mason said before waving goodbye and leaving. Lollie waved back then told the kids that they should head back now. They all agreed and followed her back to the house and once they were back Iris decided to ask Jake something.

"Hey Jake can I talk to you for a moment?" Iris asked while pulling Jake to the side.

"Jake, you found Paccia?" Iris asked.

"Um yeah I did wait, where is she?" Jake asked, noticing she wasn't with him.

"Look at your vest." Iris said.

Jake then took off his vest and saw the outline of a dove on the shoulder part of his vest. It then started moving and then Paccia jumped out and became three dimensional again.

"Sorry that I didn't mean to disappear on you like that but when Lollie and your friends came by it scared me so I imprinted myself on your vest," Paccia explained.

"Oh hey Apollo does the same thing with Iris," Jake siad.

"Oh right Apollo are you here?" Paccia asked.

"Yes I am," Apollo answered and leaped off Iris's dress.

"It's good to see you again Paccia," Apollo said then hugged Paccia who hugged him back.

"Yeah you too and hey good news, the others are ok as well. They're just finding the other gateways here to earth," Paccia explained.

"Wait, I didn't know there were other gateways here aside from the ones in the portal room," Iris said surprised.

"Well there are Iris, you just haven't been told about them yet because you weren't old enough at the time," Paccia explained.

"Well I'm glad you're here," Iris said, happy to have one of her friends back.

"Same here and I'm glad that I was able to help Jake here unlock a new power," Paccia then flew up to Jake and hugged his neck.

"Thanks Paccia and hey you helped me be at more peace with myself. I feel more calm now thanks to you," Jake said and hugged Paccia back.

Iris and Apollo smiled at this, then Jake's amulet started glowing and a green light came out of it and it pointed to a nearby bush that was a few feet away from the house. The four looked at each other before following the light and taking a look in the bush. When they pushed some of the leaves back they were shocked to see the green shard in it. Iris then grabbed a hold of it and jumped for joy.

"We found a shard! We found a shard!" Iris exclaimed happily.

"Yes this means that we're closer to getting our home back!" Apollo exclaimed equally as happy.

"Wow I wonder how that happened?" Jake asked.

"Well I think it's because you're more at peace with yourself and it allowed your amulet to lead us to the shard," Paccia suggested.

"Hmm well I'm glad about that and Iris I hope we'll be able to save your home soon," Jake said while putting a hand on her shoulder.

She then hugged him and told him that she hoped so as well. Jake hugged her back and then they went back inside to tell the rest of the squads the good news.
