The following day Lila was outside of the house with her grandma knitting a scarf for Lollie.

"Oh Lila you're doing so well," Grandma said.

"Hehe thanks Granny," Lila said while rubbing the back of her head.

"You know you should tell your friends about your little hobby and try to teach them how to knit if they want to learn," Grandma suggested.

"Oh um I don't know about that," Lila said nervously.

"Oh Lila don't tell me you're still paranoid about what your friends would say about this are you?" Grandma asked.

"I'm sorry it's just that after what happened at my old school I don't know what they'll say. Josh doesn't mind what hobbies I have as long as they're not harmful to me... well that and he's my twin brother," Lila explained.

"I understand but they are your friends and true friends never judge one another for their interests and your friends are indeed true friends," Grandma explained.

"Okay well I'll think about it hmm I'm gonna take a break and head into town for a bit," Lila said.

"Okay. Oh and bring your friends along as tomorrow you all will be going back into the city," Grandma reminded her.

"Okay Grandma, I'll go talk to them," Lila said then went inside the house.

When she got in there she saw Jake, Hannah, and Iris playing video games. Her brother was watching a movie with Erick sleeping right next to him and Jane was reading a horror novel. As for the animals, Paccia was sitting near the window, Umang was enjoying some dog food, while Apollo was sitting on the couch resting.

"Hey guys wanna go into town for a bit?" Lila asked.

"Sure sis, Mom said that I did have to walk Umang everyday if I wanna keep him," Josh explained.

The rest of the group agreed to go with her to the town as they were bored in the house.

"Hey Mom, Dad, Lollie, we're going out to the town for a bit, see you all later!" Lila called out.

"Okay but don't be too long considering the recent events happening over the past two days. I don't want you kids being out for too long!" Lollie exclaimed.

"Don't worry Lollie, we'll be careful," Iris said.

The group then went outside and headed to town to explore the place.

"Hey Lila, what were you doing out there with your grandma?" Jane asked.

"Oh Um, just enjoying the fresh air," Lila said.

Iris gave Lila a look and said, "Lila I know that face Light made it when he had a surprise for me or was embarrassed about something. So what were you doing?"

"I... was knitting with my grandma," Lil said, then put her head in her hand.

"Oh Lila, why are you embarrassed about it? And why did you lie?... Do you still have trust issues?" Iris asked.

"Kinda yeah, but you don't understand Iris. I got made fun of for liking anime back at my old school and when they found out I liked knitting it got worse," Lila explained.

"But Lila I'm your friend and so are the others. You can trust us to like you for you and not make fun of you. After all you tell Josh everything so why can't you do the same with us?" Iris asked.

"Because Iris you just don't get it and I tell Josh everything because he's my twin brother I shared everything with him even our mom's womb. But still I keep some secrets from him as well. I just don't want to experience that kind of pain again," Lila confided sadly.

"Ohh Lila, you don't need to worry. We're friends and those other people weren't your friends. If they were, then they would've never made fun of you for the things you liked. So try to open up more and embrace what you love, don't hide it from everyone," Iris added encouragingly.

"...I'll think about it. I better go get some angel cake for aunt Lolie and some knitting supplies for Grandma," Lila said.

"Ohh Lila, why don't we make an angel cake for her ourselves! My dad taught me how to make it so I have a great recipe for it and it'll be even better for her that way!" Jenny exclaimed.

"Ohh okay that's a good idea and just so you know don't put nuts in the cake. Lolie is allergic to nuts," Lila explained.

"Okay, are there any other food allergies I need to know about?" Jenny asked.

"I can tell you while we're shopping for them," Josh suggested.

"Oh that's a good idea, thanks," Jenny said.

"I'll come as well. I want to get some souvenirs for my parents and Catherine when we go home tomorrow," Ed added.

"Yeah I kinda want to get some things for my folks too," Jake included.

"Hey why don't we all go and get some things for our families!" Iris suggested.

"Great idea. You coming sis?" Josh asked.

"I just gotta pick up something from another store so I'll catch up with you guys," Lila said.

"Okay. Be safe Lila and let us know if there's an attack," Iris suggested.

"Don't worry guys, I will see you all later," Lila said then headed off to the fabric store. When she got there she looked through the items she needed along with some knitting stuff for herself and her grandma.

"Hmm. Oh this fabric looks and feels good. Hey miss how much does this cost?" Lila asked the cashier.

"About 5.99 per half yard," the cashier answered.

"Okay then I'll take it a full yard," Lila said.

After paying for them she left the store to go meet up with her friends. However when she stepped outside she saw a group of kids messing around with something. When she heard meowing that's when she realized that the kids were messing around with a cat.

"HEY! Stop that!" Lila screamed then ran up to the kids.

"AHH a monster!" one of the kids screamed before running away.

The rest of the kids ran with him and Lila didn't chase them; she just stopped to see if the kitty was alright. She put her bag down and got on her knees to get a better look at the cat. However when she got a better look at it she saw that it was light blue like her ring. The cat then opened its eyes and looked at Lila. It then saw a glimmer out of the corner of its eye and looked to see Lila's ring.

"Oh my, are you the lightblue squad?" the cat asked.

"Um... yes I am, my name is Lila," Lila said, a bit surprised.

"That's great news. I'm Faith and I'm your new animal guide," Faith explained.

"Oh you are well it's nice to meet you Faith. Hey, why don't we meet up with my brother and friends so you can meet them and see your old friends again?" Lila suggested.

"I would like that very much and thank you for chasing those naughty children away," Faith said gratefully.

"Hey I just don't like it when kids pick on others or animals," Lila explained.

"That's good to know. So shall we meet up with your friends then?" Faith asked.

"Yeah, let's do that. I think Iris will be very happy to see you," Lila said.

"And I will be very happy to see her again. It has been quite some time since I last saw her," Faith said then jumped into Lila's arms.

"Wow okay next time give me a heads up before you do something like that. Or just ask if I can carry you," Lila suggested.

"Very well I'm sorry if I had started you. it's just that I'm very tired as I have been walking for several hours," Faith explained.

"It's cool and I don't mind holding you. You're warm and fluffy, I like that," Lila explained.

"Thanks Lila and you know, I missed being held by another human," Faith explained.

"Hmm I guess that it felt good for you," Lila said while picking up her stuff.

"I always enjoyed the feeling," Faith said.

Lila smiled and started walking towards the shop that her friends went to, so she could introduce them to Faith.

Meanwhile in the shadow realm, Adrienne was looking in her crystal ball again to find out which squad's powers were getting weaker.

"Now Crystalball shows me which squad's powers are the weakest right now." Adrienne commanded sternly. The Crystal Ball then showed Lila and Faith walking alone.

"Hmm... perfect them alone... that'll make them easier to eliminate," Adrienne said out loud to herself.

Just then Melanie came into the room and Adrienne noticed something was off about her.

"I'll go to earth and eliminate her," Melanie declared her intentions.

"Hmm... Okay, but I need to do something with you first." Adrienne then quickly got a shadow spear and plunged it into Melanie's heart.

"AGH! W-why did you?" Melanie stuttered out.

"Your darkness is fading can't have that happen when you're in the middle of a battle. Hph and you apparently do love Lila, I'll need to fix that cause apparently even in this state your love still manages to peak through and it dampens the darkness. Lucifer won't be happy about that and you know that." Adrienne explained.

"Ugh... yes I do understand," Melanie said then got back on her feet with her eyes glowing bright red.

Adrienne smiled at seeing this and she was now sure that Melanie's love for Lila won't get in her way.

Back on earth, Lila was walking alongside Faith. As they were walking Faith couldn't help but sense that something was off with Lila. So she decided to look into her memories and what she saw wasn't good. She saw an eight year old Lila backed into a wall by a bunch of other kids.

"Haha you like knitting, what are you eighty? HA!" one of the boys laughed.

"P-please stop or i'll-" Lila said before one of the girls interrupted her by saying, "Or what you'll hit us with your cane grandma?"

"HEY STOP IT LEAVE MY SISTER ALONE!" Josh screamed.

The kids then turned to him and they all seemed very mad at him, "Or what noodle arms, you'll go tell your mommy?" One of the boys asked mockingly.

"HEY YOU KIDS KNOCK IT OFF!" A teacher screamed and came running up to them.

The bullies then ran away and the teacher stopped to see if Lila was okay.

"Hey Lila are you alright?" the teacher asked.

"Sniff... Yeah I am," Lila said while wiping her tears off her face.

"Okay good, and ignore what those kids said, knitting is something you love and if they can't accept that then it's not worth your time to listen to them." the teacher explained.

"I know but I wish they'd stop bullying me about it," Lila cried.

"Hey sis you wanna join me at the snack table?" Josh asked.

Lila nodded and the teacher led them to the snack table to make sure the other kids wouldn't hurt them. Faith then stopped looking into Lila's memories as she didn't want to see if they got bullied again that day.

'So that's why Lilla's aura is weak; she's suffering trust issues from the past,' Faith thought to herself.

"Lila, can I ask you something?" Faith asked.

"Sure, what is it Faith?" Lila asked.

"Why do you not trust your current friends enough to tell them about your hobbies?" Faith asked.

When Lila heard that she went quiet as she tried to think of a way to explain it. However before she could say anything the two heard a crash and people screaming. Lila started running to the area, she heard the crash and when they got there they saw a shadow alligator.

"Ohh crap I hate alligator's," Lila said, feeling her stomach drop.

"Ohh why hello there Lila, it's nice to see you again. I've missed you so much," Melanie spoke mockingly.

"Melanie or Merry as Iris told me," Lila said.

"Ugh that's not my name any more. It was the name of a child and I'm not a child any more. I'm a fifteen year old teenager," Melanie denied.

"No Merry is your name and I'm going to do what I can to wake you up from that darkness," Lila then put her stuff and Faith on the ground before calling out, 'Rainbow Power Action!'

After transforming Lila used her fabric of trust; however, when it wrapped around the shadow alligator it tore apart almost instantly.

"W-what, why wasn't it strong enough?" Lila asked.

"That's because you don't trust your friends or yourself enough and it's affecting your powers because of that," Faith explained.

"Ugh you dumb cat, why trust anyone at all? I don't trust anyone," Melanie said.

"Well that's sad how come you don't trust anyone?" Lila asked.

"Oh says you, since you don't even trust your own friends to tell them about some dumb hobby," Melanie said.

This caused Lila to start thinking about what she said and if it was true.

"LILA LOOK OUT!" Faith screamed.

Lila looked up and saw that the shadow was about to stomp on her so she jumped out of the way.

"Ahg what can I do to fix my powers?" Lila asked.

"You need to forget about what happened in the past with your fake friends Lila and know that your new friends are real friends so they'll accept you for who you are!" Faith exclaimed.

"Oh please, what kind of hobby do you have that you're so ashamed of?" Melanie asked angrily.

"Knitting," Lila said quietly.

"What did you say?" Melanie asked, angry.

"I like knitting and I'm not ashamed of it! Why should I be? And why was I so afraid to tell my friends? They are real true friends so I should trust them not to make fun of me. It's my hobby and I'm not ashamed of it any more!" Lila exclaimed and her ring glowed bright blue.

"Lila! Congratulations you've gotten over your trust issues and now you've unlocked a new kind of power!" Faith exclaimed.

"Oh yeah, let's see what I can do now!" Lila exclaimed.

"Oh I don't have time for this! Shadow destroy her!" Melanie exclaimed.

The shadow then opened its mouth and tried to bite Lila but the big bow on her dress along with her hair started moving and they pulled her out of harm's way.

"Wow, I can use my ribbons and hair as tentacles now!" Lila exclaimed.

"Yes you can now destroy the crystal ball!" Faith exclaimed.

Lila nodded her head and leaped towards Melanie and used her ribbon to hold Melanie in place. Melanie tried to move out of the way but Lila's ribbon was faster than her and she got tied up. Lila then grabbed the crystal ball out of Melanie's hand but she didn't stop herself from falling and the two ended up crashing to the ground.

When Melanie opened her eyes she blushed as she saw that she and Lila were kissing. Melanie's eye's then flashed back to yellow for a moment before flashing back to red and she kicked Lila off of her.

"Agh don't do that to me again!" Melanie exclaimed.

"Ohh well sorry but that wasn't my intention. I just needed to get this crystal ball," Lila said then threw it up into the air and used her hair to smash it into nothingness. The positive emotions that were in the crystal ball then went back into the shadow and it changed back into a woman.

"Agh you stupid Rainbow Squad, first you kiss me, then destroy my SHADOW! I'll get you for this I swear!" Melanie declared furiously and teleported away causing Lila's ribbons to unravel from her form and return to their normal length.

"Yeah we'll see Merry. I'll help Iris do what it takes to not only save you but your home as well." Lila said.

"SIS ARE YOU OKAY!?" Josh questioned from behind as soon as he arrived.

Lila looked back and saw the group heading towards her.

"I'm okay and look who I found," Lila then pointed over to Faith who was checking on the woman to see if she was alright.

"FAITH!" Iris exclaimed and ran over to the cat and hugged her faster than The Flash.

"Iris it's wonderful to see you again, same to you Apollo, Paccia, and Umang," Faith said.

"It's good to see you as well, Faith," Apollo said.

"Yeah it is I missed you my feline friend," Umang said.

"Yeah I missed playing with you," Picca said.

"Yes and I helped Lila here with the trust issues she still had and now she has unlocked a new power," Faith explained.

"Oh really? Well that's good to know," Josh said happily knowing that his sister had new powers.

"Yeah and um, I feel like telling you guys this now, but me and grandma were knitting earlier before we left and I like doing it, a lot," Lila said.

"Oh really? That's cool, that's a cool skill. You know I can't learn how to do that," Erick said.

"You guys don't mind me liking it?" Lila asked.

"Why should we? It's something you love Lila and we're friends so if it's something you like to do then we dont mind," Hannah explained.

"Yeah after all, we all have our own hobbies and we shouldn't make fun of each other because of that," Jane added.

Lila smiled brightly at what her friends said as it made her feel a lot better as she felt like a weight was taken off her shoulders. Just then her ring started glowing again and Lila took a look at it. When she raised it a beam of light pointed to an antique store and a light blue gem in the store started glowing.

"HEY IT'S THE LIGHT BLUE SHARD OF THE HEART!" Iris exclaimed excitedly.

"Let's get it and go back to the house so I can make Lolie the cake!" Jenny exclaimed.

The friends did just that and Iris was so happy to have the next shard to the heart and to be one step closer to getting the whole heart back.
