Your POV

Something was wrong. Walking around Hogwarts, things were brighter than they should be. Especially for the time of day. Humming as I look for someone, anyone I shake my head.

"Hello?"

My voice echos through the halls as I lean out one of the windows to see if I can spot anyone. No one, even the ghosts were gone.

Turning back the way I was originally headed. I stop in my tracks as I spot a small girl. Furrowing my brows slightly as I kneel down.

"Where are your parents, sweetie?"

She turns around and beams at me as she throws her hands up and hugs me. "Mommy!'

Hugging her slightly as she looks at me, smiling as big as she can her two front teeth missing. I smile gently as I watch her. My nose, Severus dark eyes, my hair.

"Minnie?"

She giggles and nods. "Hi, mommy!".

Covering my mouth slightly I gasp. She grabs my hand for a moment as she looks at me, worriedly.

"Why are you crying, mommy?"

I shake my head. "I'm just really happy to see you."

She smiles and hugs me again. "let's go see Daddy."

Nodding she takes my hand and pulls me along. She leads me to the East Wing, to the Dark Arts class. Picking her up, she giggles as she points to where we're going.

Heading up the steps as I hold her, I smile to myself. What does it mean that Severus is here and so is Minnie? What's going on? Am I dead?

Turning the corner I look up as Minnie yells. "Daddy!"

Watching Severus turn with a smile, his black hair having a few grey strands now. How long has it been?

"Looks like you found, Mommy."

Putting Minnie down she runs over to Severus, he picks her up and kisses her cheek as she giggles.

"Severus, what's going on?"

He looks at me again before he puts her down, pushing her gently to go play.

"Go play, love. But please leave the Boggart alone."

She giggles as she runs off and plays with a few toys. Severus stands and looks at me. A small smile on his face as he relaxes, grabbing my hand he pulls me to him. Wrapping an arm around my waist he spins us slightly.

"I've missed you."

Looking at him I cup his face as he looks down at me. He kisses my forehead. "How long has it been?"

"It's been about 2 years. You're missing our girl, she needs you. I" he pauses as he swallows. "I need you, I need you to wake up love."

Looking at him I kiss him gently. "I don't know how, I don't know why I'm here."

"After your parents showed at Hogwarts you had a placental abruption. Minnie was born not long after and Poppy told me you would be in a coma until you had enough blood. Then you'd wake up, but the process is slow."

"Can't she do something?"

"She tried, none of her potions will work, the spell I used to save Draco in the bathroom won't either. I tried that until I couldn't hold my wand anymore."

"What about the muggle blood? Can't we get something like that."

"We thought about it, but we would have to get more than we could explain if we got caught. I wanted to try anyway but Minerva couldn't risk me being thrown in Muggle prison."

Sighing I nod gently. Leaning into him as we listen to our daughter play behind us. Closing my eyes I smile gently as I sway with him. His chin resting against my head as he holds onto me tightly.

"I love you"

Looking up at him i smile gently. "I love you most."

"You need to come back, please."

I sigh gently. "Severus love I don't know how."

"You only need to try and wake up."

I look at him sadly as he looks down at me. The years have given him more lines to his face.

"Just try, if not for me than for her."

Looking over to our daughter as she plays still, oblivious to our conversation I nod. Blinking as I turn back to Severus, only for him to be gone. Crossing my arms around my body I sigh gently.

The brightness was dimmer now. Leaving the room and heading back down the stairs as I wander to the ground floor. My ears perking up as I hear a voice. Stopping in my tracks as I listen to the voice.

"(Y/n) you need to wake up. We miss you, Severus is barely holding it together. Little Minnie has been crying for you and nothing soothes her."

Realizing it was Minerva I follow it. "Minerva! Tell me what to do!"

"I don't even know if you can hear me, but we miss you, everyone does."

Getting to the end of a hallway, a door that isn't supposed to be there in my way. Putting my hand out to it slowly I grab the cold doorknob and turn it. Surprised that it isn't locked in open the door and I'm met with a bright light.

Snape's POV

"Oh my goodness! Severus get over here!"

Hearing Minerva I take my hand from the isolette and make my way over to her quickly. Stopping as I get around the corner, almost falling to my knees as I see her eyes.

Minerva looks over to me as she wipes her face. "she's awake."

Walking over without a word, I fall to my knees at the edge of the bed, looking at her. My eyes water as I look at her relieved she's back.

She looks at me as her hand comes over to rub her knuckles on my cheek gently. Grabbing her hand I hold it tightly as I lean into her touch.

"I've missed you."

"Tell me it hasn't been two years."

"Two years? What are you talking about? It's been maybe only two days."

Looking to Minerva I nod gently. "When I was asleep I was here in Hogwarts, only it was empty. I saw Minnie but she was 2 or so. You actually had some grey in your hair Severus."

Chuckling gently I kiss her cheek as she looks at me again.

"Sounds like a dream."

She hums gently as she looks at me.

"The only thing that's a dream is you and our daughter."

Raising a brow I hum. "that's what I'm supposed to say."

She smiles gently. Poppy comes over not long afterward and makes sure she's okay. At least as much as she can be. Getting her to sit up in the bed insist behind her and let her lean on me. Putting my head on her shoulder I smile as Poppy brings over the baby.

"Is that?"

"It is love, it's our beautiful daughter you made."

She laughs as she nudges me. "you helped remember?"

Shaking my head as I dismiss her words. Poppy puts our baby in her arms. Watching her melt and fall in love all over with her as I had the first time I held her. Reaching my arm around I, put my hand over (y/n)'s.

"She's perfect."

"She still has a bit growing to do, but it should be easier now that you're awake and she knows you're here."

She nods as Poppy leaves to take care of something. Minerva opens the curtains for everyone else as we sit there. They relax when they see her awake and holding Minnie.

Smiling to herself the look at her. "We haven't been able to see her yet, Severus wouldn't let us.'

Glancing to Hagrid he nods gently. Looking back at the baby as she makes a noise I smile as my heart swells a bit more. Kissing (y/n)'s shoulder she sighs gently.
