Y'all I got a question. When you're reading a book/story. What do you look for the most??

Are you looking for a good plot?

Are you looking for drama?

Are you looking for to be heartbroken or to be overclouded with love and the wholesome parts.

When does it become to much over drama?

Are you looking for the sappy lines? Like "You were the only one I have looked at since I've met you." Idk something like that.

What about character development?

What about character personality?

Do you think there should always be a lesson you learn or a villain so there's some sort of conflict?

What is it that you look forward to in a book?

When does it go to far?

Do you need to connect on a personal level with the main character or the side character that always end up dying?

What catches your eye? Cover? Title? Summary? Book Lines? Names?
