"Boss, hurry up! There's no time to waste!" Mek shouted as he saw that Boss was loading the suitcases pretty slowly. There were five or six cars waiting in the parking in front of the engineering faculty guilding and Mek couldn't help but look at the watch nervously, fifteen minutes... ten minutes... 

"Ok, we're ready!" Boss said as he got off one of the car and came to talk to Mek

"Are you sure?" 

"Well, we're just waiting for Bohn and King, but at this point I don't even know if they're going to come with us or not. Bohn said that Duen promised him to protect him if some of the freshmen try to attack him... but I don't know what's going on with King and Ram... I mean... it is pretty obvious that he likes him but..." Boss got interrupted by Mek who yelled full of anger

"Are you serious!? We are in the middle of a riot, we aren't safe here and we're waiting for our friends and you just keep talking about some cheesy stuff!" 

"I'm trying to think about something else! Is it that terrible?! I don't want to spend all my time thinking about how someone could try to attack me... or worse... I thought you were supposed to help me! To make me feel better... but what are you doing now? Why should this matter? We are waiting... so why shouldn't we talk about something that isn't grave and tragic like what we have around us?" Boss said as his eyes started watering

"Boss... I didn't mean... I just thought that you wasn't taking this seriously..." Mek said much calmer this time

"You should be thankful that you didn't see what I saw... when we were out... I saw how the soldiers were burning the corpses... I saw a woman... with her little child... she was alone... in the darkness... I felt it... I felt like I was alone too... like the happy life I used to have was gone forever... I don't want to feel like that again... but that scene just keep playing in my mind... it never stops... I try to look at you... it worked at first but now... you just keep yelling at me... forcing me to see... all this..." 

Mek hugged Boss and kissed his head

"I'm sorry... but why didn't you tell me that before?"

"You shouldn't even ask... we used to keep our feelings secret... I think that it is something that I can do quite well, am I right?" Boss said smiling, Mek nodded. 

"Guys! Come here! We have to move now." King said as he arrived running

"The peace is already over?" Mek asked terrified

"No, but we have a chance, we don't have to leave the campus anymore... and we just have to thank Duen for this. The supplies are on the cars right?" King asked

"yes... what do you want us to do then?" Boss asked confused

"Listen here, we can leave the cars in the basement of the medical center, it was supposed to be used by teachers but since they aren't going to use it we will be able to occupy it with our goods. Duen and Ram will take care of the rest. Now go there... hurry up!"
