Closets

2017 would be a good year for Jack McLoughlin. After what felt like hundreds of applications, he had finally gotten a job at a small rural school in Ohio. At first he was scared of moving so far just for a teaching job, but after meeting the staff, he knew it was right for him.
His first day was more than amazing. He woke up early that morning considering that he had barely slept the night before. After a small breakfast of toast and eggs, he hopped in the shower. Completing his morning routine and gathering all his things, he stepped out the front door, ready to face the day.
Finding his classroom wasn't a difficult take for the Irishman. The plaque next to the door read 'BAND ROOM' in large black letters. Pulling out his keys, he heard someone approaching behind him.
"You must be the new band teacher," the stranger said, his voice deep and soothing. Jack finished unlocking the door, then turned around to face the figure behind him.
The man wasn't a giant, but he was significantly taller than Jack by at least a few inches. His hair was dark and messy, yet the floof piled atop his head seemed intentional. His eyes were a chocolate brown and slightly slanted, something that Jack had only seen a few times in real life.
"Yup!" Jack put his hand out as a kind gesture. The man did the same, shaking his hand with a comfortable grip. "Today's my first day actually," he said, looking up at the stranger above him.
"Well Jack, it's nice to meet you. I'm Mr. Fischbach, but you can call me Mark," he said, staring deeply into Jack's azure eyes.
Little did Jack know, that handshake would become the beginning of the the rest of his life.

Three months later

"M-Mark," Jack whispered, hoping to gain the attention of the man who was currently sucking at his collarbone. "The bell's about to ring."
Mark detached his lips from his boyfriend. He sighed and started buttoning up his shirt. "Well then, I guess we're going to have to pick this up when we get home."
Jack blushed and began straightening himself up. As soon as he finished retying his tie, the bell rang. He opened the closet door slowly, making sure no students were around. When he coast was clear, he stepped out into the hallway, Mark following close behind him.
"I love you," he said, pecking Mark's cheek gently.
"Love you too, baby boy," he replied. After their goodbyes, the two males headed off to their individual classes.
Jack walked into his classroom, shutting the large door behind him. His students already sat in their seats, assembling their instruments.
"Mr. McLoughlin?" a student said, looking up at the Irishman.
"Yes Felix?" he replied to the Swedish exchange student.
"Is that a hickey?"
