It's only been a few weeks since the gang got back from space but man were they enjoying it. They're spending there time away from danger to bond with each other. The Kraang where nowhere to be found, they even went on occasional runs to TCRI. It also appeared that the other mutants and Shredder had gone into hiding. Boy, where they thankful. They needed a brake.

"It's great to be back." Raph said for the millionth time. They all wore that sentence out. "Yeah," Mikey added. "I can't wait to re-binge Karoge Nare!" They all rolled their eyes smiling. They were happy their old life was back. It had been gone for so long. April even started school again.

"My sons, I am very happy you have returned from your confusing, but successful trip." Master Splinter said, from across the living room they were all sitting in.  They were just hanging out and talking, enjoying their official time together. "It's kinda weird how there's two of us now," April commented.

"I try to forget about that," Casey said looking at the TV. "Besides there's only room for one Casey Jones in New York!"

"I can barely handle one much less two." Donnie muttered to himself. He was on the floor working on an invention. "Whatcha working on D?" Mikey inspected. Donnie smiled. It had been months since he's worked on something, much less explain it. "Well," Donnie said standing, with a laid back face, but was as eager as a kid in a toy store. "Its a device used to detect Kraang and mutated DNA around the CSRA. In case they come around. I'm almost done." He sat back down to finish.

"Well since it's that important we'll leave you be." Leo said returning to the television.

I woke up in an old ally way of New York. I knew this because I'd been here my whole life. Though I haven't been myself. I can hardly remember the last couple of months. What i did remember was my name and other stuff. I rehearsed it in my mind so I wouldn't forget.

My name: Karai/Miwa Yoshi
Status: Kunoichi
I am Hamato Yoshi's daughter, but I can not go home to him due to my past with the foot clan and mind control. I've recently been mutated but it seems to have worn off for now. I lost my Mom to Shredder in a fire.

That's pretty much the just. I just now started to remember my past. I got mutated as a serpent and at some point I lost my mind. Or my humanity, but now it's back. I wanted to go back to the guys, the turtles. Master Splinter. I was running on rooftops to clear my head. But I can't go back. They won't believe that I want to be a good guy now. The right side. Because of my past I wish I could forget.

My senses kicked in and I realized it was raining. My face was wet and cold. I jumped across another gap in between the buildings. I was just in the moment and noticed a water tower on the building. I just stood their and stared at it as I thought. I guess the sadness of everything that I thought about just, bared down on me. I guess there was a force of habit and I had my sword in hand. But I dropped it. And fell to my knees. I just started crying. Without stop. I couldn't help it. It just need to come out. My emotions that is. All I felt was the rain and my hot tears streaming down my face.

------ TO THE LAIR!!

"There finished!" Donnie exclaimed jumping off the floor. The others huddled around him to look at it. It then started beeping. "What is it D? A mutant? Shredder? Kraang." Mikey said the last one with less enthusiasm.

"We just got back." Raphael complained. "It says there's mutant DNA around 5th." Donnie informed. "Let's go." Leo said drawing his sword as the brothers ran out.

The bros reached the rooftop were, barely, they saw a figure hunched over. The brothers looked confused. It didn't look like a mutant. Was this another one of Donnie's crack ups. "Proceed with caution. It doesn't look threatening but you never know." Leo whispered to the turtles. They nodded. When Leo approached he noticed that it was a girl. A girl they had seen before, but hadn't seen this face in a very long time. "Karai?" He questioned.

The masked others looked puzzled. "How do we know it the real her?" Raphael said looking rather shocked. "My name is Miwa Yoshi." She whispered and The others looked back at Raph. Now they had proof. "And go away." She hissed. Leo put his hand on her shoulder. "Come with us Karai. It will be ok."

"How are you sure?" She cried looking up. They had never seen her in this bad of shape. Her make-up was running and tears mixed with rain were all over her face. "We can help you." Leo continued, "Donnie made a retro mutagen." She looked up at Donnie hoping.  He nodded confirming his brothers words. Karai stood up and nodded, for she was in no mood to talk. On the way to the shell raiser she used the heavy rain to wipe off most of her runny make-up. She hopped things would get better from here.
