Scarlet was eating the dinner her daddy left for her. It was meat since she loved meat. It did not matter how the meat was cooked as long as she had it she was happy. It also did not matter what the meat was she was happy. Athena smiled at the girls antics Scarlet was in her wolf form eating the meat. Scarlet preferred to eat in her wolf form. She was use to it and it made more sense. Plus she felt her hands in her human form should be used to fight and hug. After she was done eating she changed back to her human form and cuddle up with Athena.

Athena was not expecting this not even in the slightest. She warped the young girl in her arms and held the girl close to her. She did not know that Scarlet was taking in her scent. Scarlet used her nose a lot. So scents could relax her or make her nervous.

"Why are you so nervous Aunty?" Scarlet asked. She asked it in the cute and innocent voice only a child could ask it in.

"I have never watched kids before. So I am scared I will mess up?" Athena said.

"I don't think you are messing up. You are very nice so I know I am safe with you. You scent tells me you are safe." Athena had one weakness will a few but learning new things was one of the biggest for her.

"So what do I smell like and are the ones that make you feel safe do they smell the same?" She asked.

"Yes for the most part they do. Daddy, you, Grandma both of my grandmas, Aunty T and Aunty Artemis all smell safe I can't describe what that smells like. As for you your scent is books, scrolls, and metal." Athena was unsure how to respond to that or how to react or what to think to be honest. However she was saved or doomed when Scarlet asked for a bed time story.

She was saved since she did not have to think on what she smelt like and she was doomed since she could not tell a story. Athena was logical so making up stories was hard for her. She could tell a story if the facts where there. It was then she got an idea she was going to tell Scarlet a story about her daddy.

"Ok since your daddy will most likely not tell you his adventures I will tell you some of them. Actually he will but he will downplay his parts in them." So Athena did and she discovered a few things which she found out when telling Scarlet. One thing was she was a great story teller. Two she was better at watching and caring for kids then she thought. She wondered what it would be like to have her own kids with Percy.

She never allowed herself to think that way before. Before she met Percy she was logical very logical to the point that it annoyed many. She was smart and knew what people needed but she was not the one you went to with emotional needs. For example if you cat was hit by a bus do not go to her she will not know how to handle the crying and emotions. However she was starting to feel different.

Artemis and Percy flashed to New York to go to a new restaurant that they heard about. It was called Ninja and it was a Japanese place. (It does exist or at least it use to not sure now anyway not the point.) It was a very nice but not too fancy restaurant. So it was great for the couple to enjoy.

Percy was curious as to why Artemis wanted to try Japanese food but he did not ask her. It was her choice and he wanted to see her smile. It was an amazing sight, seeing both Athena and Artemis smiling. Food was ordered and the couple started to talk. They found that they were very comfortable with each other.

"Sometime I am going to have to make you food which should be interesting since I am not good at it. Not even in the slightest. "

"Your daughters talk about how you cook the meat very well. So I think you are better than you think you are." Artemis smiled at that. It was a sweet compliment meant to make her feel better and it worked. Artemis did remember she was good at cooking wild animals.

"I can cook wild animals very well I shall have to do it for you sometime."

"Ok as long as it is not rabbit please." This got Artemis nervous for she was good at cooking rabbit. Many would say she was the best at cooking rabbit. So she asked Percy why he would not eat rabbit.

"When I was six I had a rabbit her name was Fluffy and yes I know it was not a very original name but I was six at that time. Anyway she was my friend she would sleep with me and make everything better. She would often greet me at the door when I got home. She was a white rabbit about medium size not too big and not too small either." He took a pause to control himself.

"Well one night I got home and she did not greet me. I did not think on it for she was sometimes asleep when I got home. I was pretty out of it at the time. Gabe my step father cooked for us that night and that should have sent warning bells in my head. It looked like steak or some type of meat." He took a pause once more. (By the way I do not know what rabbit cooked looks like for I will never eat it.)

"Well after wards he asked me if I liked the food. I said I did it was very good. He then told me that he killed Fluffy and cooked her up and made me eat her. I could not eat for a week after that. So that is why I can't eat rabbit." He paused but added one more thing.

"I will not ask anyone else not to do it. I have seen many campers do it. I just ask not to do it. It is a stupid reason I know but that is why." Artemis did not see that coming. It gave her new respect for her boyfriend.

"For a few weeks I would have nightmares in which Fluffy would ask me why did I eat her didn't I love her. I can't go through that again. I know others would make fun of me which is why I have kept it hidden."

Artemis smiled and gently placed her hand on his.

"No Percy it is not stupid she was your friend and meant something to you. I understand that feeling a little bit. Whenever one of my daughters was killed I could not bring in another. I felt like I was betraying my daughter the one that died. After some time I was able to bring in another but it was still hard. " Percy got up and hugged her both mourned the loss of people and animals that were important to them.

Scarlet had fallen asleep after the stories and Athena brought her to her bed room and tucked her in. She wondered once more what it would be like to have kids of her own. Well kids that she gave birth to anyway not just having them spring form her head. She hears a knock on the door and opens it up to get a shock for both her and the person that was on the other side.

"Hello Annabeth if you are looking for Percy he is on a date right now." Annabeth was shocked o so very shocked by this. She was also jealously about the one he was on a date with.

"I came to speak to Scarlet but I am guessing she is not here right now or she is asleep."

"You are correct she is asleep I just put her to bed."

"Why are you watching her mom?"

"Percy begged me to and since he is my friend I agreed. Plus I wanted to speak to Scarlet about some things." Athena was not going to let her daughter know she was dating Percy yet. It was none of her daughter business.

"Ok I will come by another time. By the way who is he dating?"

"Why do you care you had your chance." Annabeth was starting to get mad.

"You never would have allowed it. You hated him." Athena sighed.

"No I hated his father all of the former sea gods children were bastards to me and my family so I figured he would be like the rest. He has loyalty none of them did. I would have allowed it. Also please do not blame me. Your pride got in the way. Now please leave before Scarlet wakes up and wants to kill you. Also I will not tell you who she is."

"I need to speak to him how do I do it?"

"I can set up a time for you with him when he gets back. You can speak to him tomorrow."

Annabeth had some more thinking to do so she left. Back with Percy and Artemis they were out walking around Central Park. The couple was holding hands something both found to be very enjoyable. They found a small pond and just sat next to it. Artemis put her head on his chest and Percy warped his arms around her.

Artemis noticed he was looking at the moon. He was looking at the moon and looking at her. This action caused her heart to fill with joy.

"So what has you smiling?"

"I always wondered why it was that the moon was so beautiful now I understand. The one who controls it is beautiful as well." This caused Artemis to blush and to smile brightly.

"The moon has always been peaceful to me. I always felt claim around it. I felt a connection with the moon. I felt like I had a friend."

"So it must have shocked you to discover the one in charge of the moon did not like you at first." Percy smiled and nodded at this.

"Yes but one of my friends was just captured so I was more worried about that. After the quest it sunk in and I started to laugh. Everyone wrote it off as me distressing form the quest. They were somewhat right."

Artemis cuddled deeper into his embrace. She never expected to feel this way again. She was not going to get upset. She was in love and was very happy to admit it. Even if nothing came of the relationship with Percy she had gained a great friend and would no longer close her heart off to love. Artemis did not want to ruin the moment but something had been bugging her for the last few days.

"Did my father have anything to do with the death of Orion?" Percy got a little nervous.

"Do you want the honest answer? I do not think you will like it. I have found it in his journal." Artemis thought about it.

"Yes please I want to know."

"Yes he was behind it he pointed out the relationship to Apollo and the rest you know what happened. Why he did it I have not gotten there yet." Artemis feels a pain in her arm. She has not felt this much physical pain in a long time. A small sun was seen flashing on her arm. Artemis could tell that Percy was annoyed but not at her.

He had pulled her into a big hug and kissed her to stop the pain. His arms allowed her to ignore the pain for the most part. After a few minutes the pain stopped and so did the sun flashing on her arm. The sun also left her arm.

"Your brother has done it. He has had a relationship with a woman. Sadly for the pain to have lasted that long and for it to have hurt you that much means only one thing and that the woman in question is pregnant. You will be able to find her if you close your eyes and focus."

"I will send some girls tomorrow. I feel stronger what is going on." She asked.

"You have gotten ten percent of his power. I am not sure what you got but you got some of his power."

"I did not think he would have had a relationship this quick. I do not want to hurt anyone but I need to let him know I am serious. I will go and get her tomorrow. Right now I am very comfortable here."

So Percy held her until it was getting late. Reluctantly they got up and flashed out. Percy kissed Artemis before leaving to go home. Afterwards her daughters wanted details so she gave them. Afterwards she had to speak about something hard for her to say.

"Girls thousands of years ago I dated Orion considered to be a great hunter. My brother tricked me into killing him. I did not find out until a couple of weeks ago the day before the big meeting that I actually did it. I thought it was a mortal well as part of my brother's punishment he could not have any relationships for 500 years." She had to take a pause.

"Each time he did I would kill the woman and take ten percent of his power. Well Percy made it so I would know. The woman in question is expecting a child. So in the morning we are going to get her. We will keep her safe until she gives birth and then kill her."
All of the hunters were on her side. They did not like the idea of an innocent person dying but it had to be done. Percy had gotten home and saw that his daughter was asleep in her bed. Athena greeted him with a kiss and told him what had happened. I set up an appointment for her to meet with you tomorrow in the afternoon figuring Rose did not need that right away." He kissed her once more before she left.

Percy then went to check up on Rose and saw that she was asleep. He hoped that she would be ok in the morning when the meeting happened.
