Scarlet woke up to the smell of meat cooking and her daddy. So she gets up and dressed and finds him and gives him a big hug. She also asked how his date was and Percy gave her the details. In turn he asked how her night with Athena was. So Scarlet gave all the details. Afterwards she could tell that her daddy had to tell her something.

"I sadly have a meeting today with Annabeth. Do you want to be there?" In response Scarlet hugged him and started to cry and cry very hard. In between the sobs Percy was able to figure out that she was begging not to go. She did not want to go she was not ready yet.

"Don't worry I will not make you go." He called Thalia and explained the situation and asked if she would watch Scarlet for him. Thalia understood and agreed to watch her. Beside she enjoyed spending time with her niece. She also commented on the fact that Percy should not ask a stupid question like that.

That morning Percy held his daughter. Hestia came over to meet Scarlet for the first time. Scarlet was unsure how to react to Hestia. Scarlet could smell fire and that made her nervous for Scarlet did not like fire.

However she got the smell that Hestia was safe and that was all that mattered to her. So she hugged her aunty. This action took the goddess of the hearth by surprise but she gladly returned the hug. Hestia always had a soft spot for kids. She would often watch over them when their parents were by her hearth.

Thalia was brought over by Artemis to pick up Scarlet and the three left to go somewhere else. Percy went to train before the meeting. Right now his rage was at a high point a very high point. It was the first time he felt this way at least in a long time. He needed to hear Annabeth out but in his rage induced state that was next to impossible.

He wanted to be fair due to the friendship they had but she had made his daughter cry. That was something he would not allow not even close to it. He had to take a pause he had only been a father for a short time yet Scarlet meant more to him than anything or anyone. He may love Artemis and Athena he was still unsure but if it came down to them or Scarlet he would pick his daughter in heart beat.

He trained and trained he knew he was super powerful but he wanted to have his powers mastered. He was not going to be like Zeus he was going to train and train hard. He also had back up weapons made so he was training in their use. He first wanted to master the spear and he was pretty good at it.

To be sure of his mastery he had to battle someone that was good with a spear. Thalia and Ares came to mind. Athena was also good with a spear she was legendary with one according to the myths and since most of the myths have turned out to be true Percy was willing to guess that this one was to. He would ask her after their date.

About an hour before the meeting he goes to take a quick shower and put on non training cloths. He was not trying to impress Annabeth he just though it was rude as the King of the Gods to show up in sweats and smelling bad. He ran into Athena or more likely she found him since she figured he might want some backup. He was really happy about that. He asked for a spar with spears and she agreed after the meeting.

"Where is Scarlet is she ok?" Athena was worried that she had hurt or done something to hurt Scarlet last night. She was close to paranoid on that thought. That and she was very worried for the little girl had somehow wormed her way into her heart.

"No she begged me not to go to the meeting she started to cry this morning. She is with Thalia or aunty T as she calls her."

"Can you handle my daughter?" Athena knew he was loyal so if someone made his daughter cry he may not be rational about it. She was also worried he may do something he would regret. Athena cared about her daughter so she did not want her dead.

"Yeah I can not sure for how long but I can do it. Let us get it over with." They walked into the throne room. Percy had changed his throne it was now blue just plain blue. He would add things as time went on. He also changed all the walls in his palace white until he did something.

Annabeth walks into the throne room. She was shocked and sacred to see her mother. She saw the blue throne where Zeus's use to be and she guessed Percy had changed it until he picked what he wanted. Percy looked to be claim very claim but she knew that he was not. Percy was her best friend for a long time.

As a result of that friendship she had learned a lot of his stances and posture and what it means. She knew by his stance that he was mad. He may look claim and collected but he was mad and this worried Annabeth for she had never known Percy to be this mad. Not even when he first came to camp and she used him as bait in the capture the flag game.

Annabeth noticed that Scarlet was not around at least she could not see her. So she asked about the wolf.

"She begged me not to come she cried and begged me. She is with one of her favorite aunts. I do not like seeing my daughter cry Chase. So what is it you need to speak about? If it is about you wanting to speak to Scarlet I suggest you wait until she is ready."

"It was I wanted to try and make it up to her but seeing as I scared her that is a bad idea. I do wish to ask you something if I were to tell you that I realized I made a huge mistake and that I really love you would you give me a chance." Percy and Athena were not expecting this not expecting this at all.

Both were able to hide their emotions. Athena was a master at it in fact she was the one that first invented it. Percy had gotten fairly good at it over the years. So both the King and the Goddess of wisdom were able to hide their shocked expressions.

"If you had told me before the big meeting a week or so ago I would have thought about what you said and after a day or two I would have taken a chance. However I am starting to date and I am not fully in love yet but I am starting to. So I am sorry but I am not interested it is best if we remain friends." Annabeth bowed and left. Percy went with Athena and the two spared.

She was heartbroken actually she was beyond that. The last line was the same one she used on him when he asked her out. The irony of it was not lost on her. She was hurt for she knew there was nothing she could do. It was then that her sadness was replaced with rage for she remembered Thalia's words. According to Percy she had a chance at that time. So she rushed off to speak with her friend.

Meanwhile while the short meeting was going on Thaila was playing with Scarlet just having fun. Someone flashed in and the guest had many bows pointed at them. Thalia ordered the hunters to stand down when she sees that it is Nico.

"You no dead breath you got to be more careful. You may be immortal but a lot of arrows can still hurt. So what can we do for you?"

"I wish to know if you would go on a date with me Thalia?" Thalia was shocked very shocked of all the things that could have been asked she was not expecting this not even close. She was unsure about the date request. Nico was a nice guy and it might be fun and she might fall in love with him.

"Ok why not you are a good guy and it could be fun. Have you asked my mom yet?"

"No I have not I wanted to make sure you would agree before I did. Asking her scares me to be honest and Percy did not make it better. To be honest I am not sure who scares me more him or you mom." Thalia smiled at that. Everyone heard a voice.

"I would be more scared of Percy I can be scary but Percy when it comes to him family is far more terrifying. That is something I love about him." Looking up everyone sees Artemis and Nico starts to sweet and pale.

"Relax I am not going to hurt you but if you hurt my daughter I may do that then I will tell Percy and well that should be fun to watch." Artemis walked away leaving a pale God of the Underworld behind. Nico missed the evil smirk on Artemis's face. After the color returned to his checks he made plans for a date a few days from now. He then left to go home to train.

Thalia went back to training with Scarlet. Scarlet gets into a defensive stance and cuddles up to Thalia. Thaila can tell right away that the little girl is scared very scared. Looking up she sees why. Artemis sees why as well. She places her hand on Scarlet and teleports her back to her father Percy who seeing his daughter in that states holds her tightly.

Thalia then draws her spear and holds it up. The hunters seeing their second in command follow her example and aim there bows at Annabeth. Plus they are mad that this one made there niece cry. This stops her warpath but she is still very mad. Thalia orders the others to lower their bows but all reluctantly do it. All of the hunters still have their bows in their hands.

"You ended up causing my niece to cry and I do not like that. She smelt you coming and starts to shake. Now what is it you want? Speak or my sisters will finish you. All of us really like Scarlet and everyone is mad that you made her cry." At that the hunters once again pick up their bows to prove the point.

"You told me I did not have a chance with him. He just told me that on that day I had a chance a small chance but a chance none the less. Why did you lie to me?" Thalia now understood her friends rage. She should have felt guilty but she did not even the slightest bit of guilt.

"The Annabeth I know lets nothing stop her. The Annabeth I know if it is something's she wants she will pursue it until she gets it. I said that as a test. If you passed I would have helped you if you failed then I was not going to help you. He is like a brother to me I was protecting my brother. "

"So did I pass the test?" Thaila and the other hunters all face palmed at this.

"Are you dating Percy right now? The answer is no and since the answer is no the answer to your stupid question is you failed and failed badly." Annabeth was shocked and confused by this. Thalia seeing it once more face palmed.

"You cried for like half an hour and basically just wrote him off. He came to me and begged the Hunters to kill him. He wanted mom to kill him he cried for days it was amazing that he was able to fight in the final battle."

"Please help me with him now." Thalia this whole time had pity for her friend she felt a little bad but now that was replaced with rage. A rage she had not felt in a long time. Not since her mom died and she discovered who her father was.

"No I know who is dating and he cared about both and before you asked yes I said both women approached him and told him that they loved him and he is dating them. No I will not tell you who he is dating. You will find that out soon enough. Now please leave before I let my sisters turn you into a pin cushion."

Annabeth was about to leave. She knew it was a wise idea to leave now. She was hurt and sad but she knew it would pass. She had to let him go at least she had a chance to be a friend. At least she had not lost her friend yet. She was stopped before she left the camp.

"Annabeth until Scarlet is better and no longer wants to cry when you are around please do not come around here or near me. I can't stand to see the little girl cry. She is powerful but she is still a little girl." Annabeth nodded that she understood. She had to make it up to Scarlet somehow.

Percy was with Scarlet just holding her. His heart was breaking seeing his daughter in this state. He did not know what to do. He carried her to their home. Artemis and Athena were with him at this point.

"Please daddy just hold me." Scarlet sensing her father did not know what to do she told him what she wanted and needed. So Percy just held her until all four of them had fallen asleep. Meanwhile the hunters were gathered. Artemis asked them to go and pick up the woman in question. Thankfully she was close by in New York.

Thalia led the group with her was Lilly. Lilly knew this area a little better then Thalia that is why she brought her. Thalia hoped that it was not going to be hard to pick up this woman. Thalia did not want to do this but she had no choice. She hoped her mom would have mercy.

After an hour they find the woman and she was pretty she had long blonde hair and bright blue eyes. She was an assistant at a local law office. Thalia and Lilly followed her to her apartment and using the mist where able to hide. Once the woman is safely in her apartment Thalia knocks on the door and the woman answers.

The woman sees two girls armed with bows and a quiver of arrows on their back. She knew what was going on. Her name was Jackie Smith. She hangs her head in defeat knowing what is going to occur. She invites the girls in.

"Miss Smith judging by your eyes you know who we are and know why we are here. So I will ask you to come with us. I do not want to make this any harder than it has to be. Are you going to come with us willing or do we have to fight?"

"I will not fight I will come willing." So using the mist the three travel back to the camp. The whole time Jackie was quite and subdued. She knew she was going to die once she gave birth. She knew she was carrying a child for Apollo told her after he screwed her what would happen. Jackie knew of Artemis and her stories so she knew if the goddesses had wanted to Jackie would be dead.

Jackie is giving a tent to herself it is very nice. She goes to sleep after have been given food. She knows Apollo will not help her not at all she knows that she was the test to see what would happen if Apollo had any relations with any woman.
