*Kaitlyn's P.O.V*

I looked through the car window, it was a rainy day wich I heard was unusual for LA. I just moved here from a small town in Wisconsin to be exact Bayfield, Wisconsin. I was happy to finally get out of that place, but then I realized I had to leave my best friend.

"Kaitlyn, why do you look so sad?" My mom asked.
"Because"
"Is it because of that Jazmine girl that you call your 'friend'."
"Mom, she is my friend."
"So, the girl that always use to publicly humiliate you is your friend."
"Can we please just not talk about this."
Then the car just went silent and it stayed silent untill we got to the new house.

"Kaitlyn I have some bad news......the moving trucks won't be here untill Thursday."
"What am I supposed to wear to school tomorrow. I can't make a bad impression on the first day."
"People should not judge you on the way you look, but the way you act."
There's that cheesy mom stuff mom's always tell you to make you feel better about yourself. I just groaned and left the room.

* the next day *

"Kaitlyn, wake up...... Kaitlyn Ann Bower wake up"
I slowly open my eyes, and saw my mom standing in front of me with a frustrated look on her face.
"Kaitlyn you have 10 minutes untill your late GET READY!!!"
I get up and I put this on:

* 15 minutes later *

I walk into English 5 minutes late.
"Ms. Bower I presume" my teacher Mr. Williams said.
"Yes.... im Ms. Bower."
"Do you have a pass."
"No..... I do not."
"Well I'll let it slide for today, but next time you better have a pass."
"I will.... I promise"
"Ok, now go find and empty seat."

I went to go find a seat. I went to the first seat I saw..... and next to me was this kid.... he was kinda cute too.
"Hi." He whispered to me
"Hi."
"Are you new here?"
"Well aren't we all... I mean it's 6th grade."
"I mean are you new to this town."
"Yea....are you?"
"Yea."
"Cool I just got here and we already have something in common."
