3rd Person View

The morning sun was finally shining over Beacon Academy. Its rays shined through the multiple windows of the ballroom, waking up a couple of students. They would slowly rise up and started to get ready for the day ahead. But most of "our" heroes stayed in bed not wanting to get up.

"Sis you gotta get up." Yang said, while shaking Ruby lightly in her sleep.

"Come on. Just five more minutes!" Ruby groaned.

Others like Jaune and Weiss knew they had to get up and started their morning routines. But that only left you, Blake, and Ren still asleep. But not for long.....

Nora was wide awake and was figuratively, and literally, jumping up and down in excitement. She looked over to see that Ren was still sleeping. So she decided to give him a little motivation. She walked over to his bed and breathed in deeply. Then yelled.....

"Wake up, lazy bud!" At the top of her lungs.

Nora woke up a few more people than just Ren with that shout. It scared Blake out of her sleep and she fumbled out of bed and on top of (Y/N).

(Y/N) View

I instantly woke up as I felt something heavy fall on top of me. I blinked my eyes a couple of times and saw Blake laying on top of me. I went wide eyed stared at her while she did the same.

"Morning?" I greeted her, but she didn't say a word back. "Sleep good?"

She opened her mouth to say something but she was pushed off of me and then was replaced with a familiar blonde.

"Good morning~." Ruby's sister greeted with a smile upon her face.

I glanced at what she was wearing and saw the orange tank top and the black shorts she wore.

"Hello?" I responded.

"I'm Yang, Ruby's big sister. I just wanted to thank you for being my sis' friend." She said.

"Oh, it was nothing." I said.

"I hope you can be my friend too." She said with a smile.

"Sure, Yang."

"Great!" She said happily.

Then she got off of me and walked off with a strange sway of her hips. Maybe something was wrong with her?

I sat up and looked over to my left and saw that Blake was sitting there, like she was in a trance.

"Are you okay Blake?" I asked.

She snapped out of her own thoughts and looked at me.

"Huh? Oh yeah. I'm fine." She stood up and I did the same. "I'll see you later." Then she walked off.

"I wonder what's with her?" I said to myself.

"Hey (Y/N)." I heard Jaune say.

I turned around and, of course, saw Jaune.

"Hey Jaune."

"Where did you go last night? You disappeared and I couldn't find you." He asked.

Crap, I didn't think anyone noticed.....Gotta think of a lie.

"I-I uh, forgot my bag at the auditorium and I had to run and get it." I lied.

"Oh. Makes sense." He said.

"Let's get ready." I said.

Timeskip

After me and Jaune prepared ourselves for the day we headed to a room filled with lockers that's supposed to hold our stuff until after the initiation.

"You really do that every morning?" Jaune asked.

"Yeah. You dont?" I asked.

We walked in the room and headed to our lockers. There was a lot of people arming themselves with cool weapons.

"No. Who does a 100 push-ups and sit-ups every morning?!"

"I do." I said.

"You really are something (Y/N)." Jaune said.

"What? My old mentor made me go through waaaaaayyyyyyyy worst things than doing exercises like that." I said.

"Sounds rough." He said.

"Naw. She was really nice to me. She even made me a friend."

Flashback, 3rd Person View

7 year old (Y/N) running from an Ursa.
"Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!" You screamed in terror.
"Use the weapon I gave you!" Raven shouted from a distance.
"This is a stick!" You shouted back.

Back to now, (Y/N) View

"Now where are is my locker?" Jaune said.

"Jaune your locker is ri-"

"Hold on (Y/N). I marked it on a map." He said as he pulled out a map of the room.

"It's right h-"

"This way!" He cut me off and started walking away from his locker. Which was right next to me. I sighed then opened my locker. I took my patas out and gently placed my backpack inside in the locker. I unzipped the bag a little and Kuma's snout popped out the bag.

"Okay Kuma, I'm going to be gone for a bit but I'll be right back." I unzipped the bag a little more and reached around Kuma and took out the jar with the red sap. I twisted off the top and placed it back in the bag with Kuma.

"Eat this when you're hungry." I said.
He whined a little. "You have to go?!" I said a little loudly.

I peeked over my shoulder and saw that no one had their attention on me. I looked back and saw Kuma with his puppy eyes.

"I can't take you out now. Someone would see you." I said.

I started thinking and I got an idea. I ran back to where everyone was sleeping before and got a random cup. I ran back and put in the bag.

"Here." I said.

A few seconds later peeing sounds were heard. When he was done I took the cup back out the bag and I threw the cup out a window.

Hope that didn't hit anything below.....

"Hey!" A voice said from outside.

I looked back at Kuma.

"See you later." I said then I closed my locker.

I sighed then started putting on my patas.

Maybe I should name these.

I glanced around the room to see everyone preparing for.... Whatever our initiation was. Nora was all over Ren as he tried to mediate on a bench, Jaune was still following his map, and Yang smiled as Ruby started fawning over the other cool weapons in the room. Even I cracked a smile at her antics.

That's when I spotted that redhead from yesterday. She was sitting on a bench, cleaning off the spearhead of her.... well, spear, with a round shield placed on her left. Everyone else seemed busy so I decided to try to talk to her.

"Hello there." I greeted, taking a seat next to the redhaired Spartan.

"Hmmm?" She looked over at me with her bright emerald eyes. "Oh, hello. Have I seen you before?"

"Yeah, yesterday actually. Me and my friends were wandering around the school and we passed you by." I told her.

"That explains it." She looked back at her spear and continued to wipe the spearhead.

"That's a nice spear and shield you have." I complimented.

"Thank you. I try my best to keep Milo and Akouo in the best conditions before going into battle." She told me.

"Milo and Akouo?" I raised a brow. "Are those the names of your weapons?"

"Yes they are." She glanced at my patas. "Do you have a name for your weapons as well?"

"U-Uh... No. I'm not exactly the best with coming up with names." I scratched the back of my head.

"They might not be bad as you think they are." She tried reassuring me.

"Really? Even "Your Worst Nightmare"?"

She quickly placed a hand over her mouth to stifle a laugh. "N-No. That's.... very unique."

"It's bad..." I looked down at my hands.

"Hey, if you want my aid, I'll help you name them when this all over." She offered.

"Really?" I looked at her.

"Promise." She smiled.

"Well thanks. Oh, my name is (Y/N) by the way." I introduced myself. "Who are you?"

"Y-You don't know I a-"

"You!" I heard a familiar voice shout.

I glanced over my shoulder to see Weiss standing behind me, tapping her foot.

"Oh, hey Weiss." I said venom in my voice as I stood up.

"So you do remember me. Good." She said.

"What do want?" I asked, annoyed.

"I was just wondering if you were considering anyone you wanted to be on a team with." She said.

"Uh, no actually. Why you ask?" I asked.

"I just wanted see if you wanted to be on a team with me?" She said shyly.

"Huh?"

"I-I mean, You may be a dolt but you seem like you could keep up in a fight." She crossed her arms and turned her head.

"Maybe?" I shrugged.

Then Weiss turned to the red head girl. "That's what I wanted to ask you too Pyrrha." Weiss said to Pyrrha.

"Well, it sounds grand!" She said.

"Great!" Weiss beamed.

Then Weiss went off in her own world as she was in a "I'm scheming something evil" pose. I went off into my thoughts as well.

Who do I want to be on a team with? Jaune definitely, he's like my greatest friend here so far. Ruby would be fun to be around. We could talk about weapons and being hunters and huntresses. But she'll probably want to be on a team with Yang though. Blake seems.....I don't know. We really haven't actually talked to each other. And Nora is.....well a 50/50. Her excitedness does make her a really fun person, but that could get annoying.

My thoughts was cut off as Jaune came in between Weiss and Pyrrha.

"You know what else is great? Me. Jaune Arc. Nice to meet you." Jaune said to Weiss.

...... He's going to get hurt by the end of this conversation, isn't he?

"You again?" Weiss asked in an irritated tone.

"Nice to meet you Jaune." Pyrrha said.

"Yeah, yeah." Jaune said ignoring her. "So, Weiss, couldn't help but overhear your fondness of me the other day."

"Oh, you've got to be kidding me!" Weiss groaned.

"Jaune she's not worth it." I whispered to him.

"Shush. Let the master work." He whispered back to me.

"Don't worry! No need to be embarrassed! So, been hearing rumors about teams! I was thinking you and me would make a good one! What do you say?" Jaune asked Weiss.

"Actually, I think the teams are comprised of four students each, so-" Pyrrha was cut off by Jaune.

"You don't say." He turned around and started focusing on Pyrrha. "Well hot stuff, play your cards right and maybe you could join up with the winning team." Jaune said.

Pyrrha was smiling brightly and she had a red color on her cheeks.

What is that?

Then Weiss stood between the two and pushed them apart.

"Jaune, is it? Do you have any idea who you're talking to?" Weiss asked.

"Not in the slightest, snow angel." Jaune told Ice Queen, causing me to facepalm myself.

"This is Pyrrha." Weiss said.

"Hello again." Pyrrha said.

"Pyrrha graduated top of her class at Sanctum!" Weiss said.

"Where?" Jaune and I asked.

"She's won the Mistral Region Tournaments four years in a row! A new record!" Weiss said.

"The what?" Jaune and I asked

"She's in front of every Pumpkin Pete's Marshmallow Flakes Box!" Weiss yelled at us angrily.

Jaune gasped and went starry eyed.
"That's you?! But they only do that for star athletes and cartoon characters!"

"What?" I said.

"Yeah, it was pretty cool. Sadly, the cereal isn't that good for you." Pyrrha said.

"So, after hearing all of this, do you really think you're in a position to ask her to be on your team?" Weiss said.

"I guess not..... Sorry." Jaune's head hangs down.

Wow. I could hear his self-esteem shatter.

"Actually, Jaune, I think you'd make a great leader!" Pyrrha said.

"D'oh, stop it!" Jaune said.

"Seriously, please stop it. This kind of behavior should not be encouraged!" Weiss said.

"Sounds like Pyrrha's on board for Team Jaune. Spots are filling up quick! Now, I'm not supposed to do this, but maybe I could pull some strings, find a place for you. What do you say?" Jaune asked once again.

"All right, that's a bit too close! Pyrrha, a little help, please?!" Weiss said.

Pyrrha pulled out a long spear and threw it at Jaune. It caught him by his hood and he flew into a wall on the other side of the room, next to the exit. The spear held him into to place.

"I'm sorry!" Pyrrha shouted to Jaune.

"That was hard to watch...." I said. o_o||

"I know." Weiss said. -_-||

Then from those boxes called "intercoms" Glynda started announcing.

"Would all first year students please report to Beacon Cliff for initiation? Again, all first year students report to Beacon Cliff immediately." Her voice announced.

Why are going to a cliff for initiation?

"Hope to see you later (Y/N)." Weiss said as she left.

So Weiss counts a friend now?

"Hope to see you as well (Y/N)." Pyrrha said.

"Yeah me too." I told her.

She walked out the room, but took her spear beforehand. Jaune dropped on the ground and looked defeated.

"It was nice meeting you!" Pyrrha said to Jaune before she left.

"Likewise." Jaune said while slumping against a locker.

I walked over to Jaune to help him up then Ruby and Yang approached us.

"Having some trouble there, lady killer?" Yang said.

"I don't understand. My dad said all women look for is confidence! Where did I go wrong?" Jaune said.

"Snow Angel." Yang and I said in sync.

"Come on guys. Let's go" Ruby said.

Timeskip

Ruby, Yang, Jaune, and I made it to Beacon Cliff with the other students. The cliff overlooked a massive forest that looked like it stretched out for miles.

"Please step onto the silver tiles." Glynda told us.

We followed her orders and each of us stood on a tile; Yang, Ruby, Me, then Jaune in this order. Glynda stood next to Headmaster Ozpin.

"For years, you have trained to become warriors, and today, your abilities will be evaluated in the Emerald Forest." Ozpin said.

"Now, I'm sure many of you have heard rumors about the assignment of teams. Well, allow us to put an end to your confusion. Each of you will be given teammates.....today." Glynda said.

Some of the students started murmuring among themselves. Ruby started to look worried. I tapped her shoulder and smiled, trying to make her worry less. She gave a small smile in return.

"These teammates will be with you for the rest of your time here at Beacon. So it is in your best interest to be paired with someone with whom you can work well." Ozpin said.

Ruby's smile faded and she started groaning.

"That being said, the first person you make eye contact with after landing will be your partner for the next four years." Ozpin said.

"What?!" Ruby shouted.

I can see Ruby flipping out and hyperventilating.

Oh crap. Uh what's something that makes me calm?! I know!

I started petting Ruby's head. She let out an "eep" at first and froze into place. But after a couple of seconds she eased into it and started to calm down. I think I saw her turning red too. Yang looked at her sister with a jealous look.

"After you have partnered up, make your way to the northern end of the forest. You will meet opposition along the way. Do not hesitate to destroy everything in your path......or you will die." Ozpin said.

Jaune started laughing nervously then made an audible gulp.

"You will be monitored and graded through the duration of the initiation, but our instructors will not intervene. You will find an abandoned temple at the end of the path containing several relics. Each pair must choose one and return to the top of the cliff. You will guard that item, as well as your standing, and grade you appropriately. Are there any questions?" Ozpin said.

"Yeah, um, sir?" Jaune said while raising his hand.

"Good! Now, take your positions." Ozpin said ignoring Jaune.

At first I had no idea what we were doing. I saw the other students making different stances; Nora was crouching, Ren was wielding two weapons, Yang raised her fists, and Ruby leaned forward like she was going to run. I just stood there confused as much as Jaune.

"(Y/N), get ready." Ruby said.

"For what?" I asked.

Then I saw the platform under Weiss launched her towards the forest.

"Oh." I said.

I got into a stance like Yangs and extended the blades from my patas.
I looked over and Jaune still didn't get into position.

"So, this landing..... strategy thing.....Uh, wha-what is it? You're, like, dropping us off or something?" Jaune asked.

"No. You will be falling." Ozpin answered.

As he said that a couple more students was launched too.

"Uh, Jaune?"

"Oh, uh, I see.....So, like, did you hand out parachutes for us?" He asked.

"No. You will be using your own landing strategy." Ozpin answered.

Then Nora and Ren was launched.

"Jaune you should really turn around." I said.

"Shush. In a second (Y/N)." Jaune said.

I heard someone whistle and looked over to see Yang. She winked at me then put on some shades. Then she was launched shouting
"Woo-hoooooooooo!"

I looked at Ruby and said.... "See you soon."

She gave a small smile then was launched, joining her sister. I was going to be launched next, so I gave Jaune one last look.

He's a goner.

Then I was launched up high in the sky. I flew through a cloud then dove back down with following a huge mass of students.

Already at the 200 hundred mark guys! How are you guys liking the story so far? Anyways I decided that you won't have a team and won't be apart of an already existing team. How am I going to do that? Find out next Drago-I mean Rwby chapter.
