3rd Person View

The Rwby dorm was very calm at this time at night. All the girls were sprawled out on their beds as they were all completely tired from the events of the party. But someone was staring out the dorm window, at the shattered moon that hovered in the sky.

"*sigh* I didn't think tonight would end like this." (Y/N) said as he closed his eyes to remember everything that happened.

Flashback, Earlier Tonight

(Y/N) View

With every step I took closer to the party the more I could hear the music and people at the dance get louder and louder. I felt both nervous and excited as I walked towards the dance. Excited because I get to hang out with all my friends but... I also have this weird feeling... like something big is going to happen....

As I made it to the open door of the party I saw Yang behind a podium with her head looking towards the party, smiling. And when she turned her head back towards me her smile grew even larger.

"(Y/N)! Everyone was wondering where you disappeared off to." Yang said as she stepped from behind the podium.

"Sorry, I was talking to an old friend." I apologized as I scratched the back of my head.

"Well I'm glad you're here." She said as she grabbed my hand.

"You know I'm always going to be here for you guys. I made a promise." I smiled.

"I'm glad you did." She smiled. "Nice suit." Yang said as we walked into the party.

"Thanks. Cinder made it for me." I said.

"Really?" She asked with an eyebrow raised.

"Yeah. She found me while Death, Ren, and I were looking for suits. She said that she made it as a reward for one of Beacon's strongest." I said.

"Thats.... something." Yang said which I shrug my shoulders to.

I then at glanced at Yang's white dress.

"But you look great in that dress though." I said which made Yang's face a little red.

"T-Thank you." She said as we smiled at each other.

"(Y/N)!" I turned my head to see an angry looking Weiss, who was wearing a white dress like Yang's, and a extremely wobbley Ruby, who was wearing a red dress with heels, heading our way. "Where have you been? We were worried sick about you!" Weiss scolded.

"Y-Yeah. Where were y-you?" Ruby asked as she continued to keep her balance on her heels.

"I was talking to a friend. I'm sorry I made you guys worry." I apologized with a nervous smile.

"*sigh* It's fine." Weiss said.

"Great!" I said as I gave Weiss a quick hug, which made her entire face red.

"H-Hey!" Ruby pouted with a slight glare. "Where's my hu-AHH!" Ruby said as she stumbled forward. But luckily I was close enough for her to hug my chest for support. She stared at my chest for a bit before she looked up slowly with a red tint to her face like Weiss.

"Are you okay Ruby? You look like a baby fawn." I said.

"I-I'm fine." She said quickly as she tried stepping back from me, but she immediately fell back into my chest making her face red as her cape. I chuckled a little.

"It looks like the party going great." I said as I glanced around the room.

I could see most of our friends doing different things among the crowd of other students. Robin, Patrick, Sun, and Neptune were talking to each other with a few other students listening in to their conversation before they all started laughing, Harley, Felix, Psyjic, and Kaya were on the further side of the party chatting with each other, Nora talking to Pyrrha as she had a sad look on her face, Ren and a guy with red and white hair was talking to each other near a table that has a bowl fill a red liquid, and Blade, Alice, and Lucy watched Taka and Numpty do what people call... Break Dancing.

"Aww. It was nothing." Yang said with a small smile.

"Nothing but hours of planning for the perfect party." Weiss said with a proud smile.

"Yeah, even our teachers look like they're enjoying themselves." I said as I looked at Ozpin, Glynda, who was swaying her hips a little to the beat of the music, and a man I never seen before. "Who's that?"

"Hmm?" Weiss hummed as she looked in the direction I was.

"That's General Ironwood." I turned around and saw Zack, Joseph, and Death in suits, well Zack and Joseph were. Both in black tuxedos but Zack has a red bow tie and Joseph wore his beanie. "The head protection of Atlas and, like his name says, a general." Zack said.

"Cool." I said.

"Yeah, cool." He said with a little venom in his voice but I'm not sure.

"Well I'm glad I made it to the party." I said.

"So am I." I heard a familiar voice say.

Everyone turned their heads towards the dance floor to see a face we didn't suspect of seeing tonight. Blake.... with Joey right next to her.

She was wearing a black dress with a dark blue bow on her head and walked straight through the crowd with no effort. And as she walked closer her smile grew bigger.

"You look great." Blake and I said in unison which made her give a shocked expression for a second.

"I see you're taking a well deserved break." I smiled.

"Well I couldn't say no to the offer." She smiled back.

"Ahem!" Yang coughed which made our attention go to her. "Well I think since the group's back together we kick this party up a notch!" She said.

"Yeah! This is going to be the best party ev-"

3rd Person View

Before (Y/N) could even finish his sentence a being fell through the roof.... from a bullhead.... right on top of (Y/N).

"Well that's certainly a unique way of introducing yourself to students." Ozpin said as he walked up, and looked down at the two on the floor.

"I was pushed, okay?!" The being said as he got up, glaring at the hole in the roof.

The being was a male with sky blue eyes, brown hair with blond highlights, a sharp jawline, and two brown and blond feline ears. He wore an unzipped black and grey tracksuit with a grey t-shirt underneath, black skinny jeans, grey tennis shoes, braces, and pair of glasses.

"By whom, may I ask?" Ozpin asked.

"....the wind...." He looked at the ground embarrassedly.

With that remark everyone, well mostly everyone, laughed at him causing him to blush. Then he quickly strutted out of the room in embarrassment.

"Mr. Reuber, please come back!" Ozpin shouted as he quickly chased after him.

(Y/N) View

"Who was that?" I asked as Death helped me up.

"(Y/N) are you alright?" Ruby asked worryingly.

"I'm fine Rubes. But I wanna talk to the new guy. He did fall straight on me which would still hurt.... I think." I said.

"I think he's fine, but.... did anyone else notice he seemed a little... off?" Yang asked as she scratched the back of her head.

"You mean besides the fact he fell straight through the roof, landed on (Y/N), and just strutted out of here, not caring what happened to (Y/N)? Nope, nothing at all." Weiss said disgruntled with her arms crossed and an angry look on her face.

"Well he did seem like he was in a hurry." Ruby said as she wobbled from side to side.

"Yeah, like he really wanted to get out of here." I said as I put a hand on Ruby's shoulder to make her stop rocking.

"Well, I don't know about you guys, but if my first impression was falling though the roof and landing on a fellow classmate, is be embarrassed too." Blake told Weiss but she looked like she was thinking about something.

"I'm gonna go after him." I said.

I was about to walk off in the same direction that Ozpin and that one guy but someone tapped my shoulder. And when I turned around to see who it was I went wide eyed.

"Ummm... hey (Y/N)? Do you.... wanna maybe..... dance with me?" Velvet said with an extremely red face and wearing a brown sundress.

"Eh!? Velvet, I thought you were on some mission?" I asked confused.

"You didn't think we'll miss our own party did you hotshot." Coco said as she appeared next to me but not before slapping my ass.

"That's awesome! I really missed you two." I smiled. "And yes I will happily dance with you Bunny." I said as I took her hand and we walked closer to the dance floor.

3rd Person View

"Man, I'm really glad we made it out of there when we did." Yatsuhashi said completely exhausted.

He and Fox looked like they haven't slept for days while Coco looked perfectly fine, in her sweater dress.

"So am I~" Coco cooed while she admired (Y/N) in his suit.

"Well I'm dancing with him next." Yang said as she glared at Coco.

"Nope, I am!" Ruby said before she started wobbling again. Forcing her to hold onto her sister for support.

"I should go next. I've been waiting for this for the last few weeks and none of you dolts is going to take that away from me." Weiss said as she watched (Y/N) spin Velvet before holding her closely.

As this was happening Ren gotten himself some punch as Zachary stood next to him.

"You seem to be enjoying yourself Ren." Zachary said.

"The party yes, the company... not so much." Ren said before taking a sip from his cup.

"You still don't trust me huh?" Zachary said.

"I find hard to believe that you and your team is always nearby even though we have no classes together, the constant saying of finding a sister but haven't found her in the three weeks you been here, and that strange feeling I get when you're around." Ren said.

"Hmm." He hummed. "Well my sister and I aren't on the best terms if I might say and my team always are close by due to our bond. I've helped every one of my teammates in one way or another and I'm currently looking into my newest member's past." He said as he glanced over at his team, who was close by watching us. "Lu Zhu. Now Lie Ren, would you care for a dance?"

Before Ren could even say or react a loud crash was heard, redirecting the two attention.

Meanwhile inside the dance, (Y/N) watched helplessly as Coco, Yang, Weiss, Blake, and now Nora continued arguing.

"This isn't how I thought this dance would go." o_o|| (Y/N) said to himself.

"Neither did I." -_-|| Joey and Joseph said as they glared at (Y/N).

"Hey girls." Neptune said as he walked up to the group, gaining their attention. "How about have a dance with a cool guy like me?" He flashed a smile.

"No!" They said almost instantly.

"But but but...." He stammered.

"The power of (Y/N), dude. The power of (Y/N)." Sun said as he patted his shoulder.

Then came Mr Reuber and Ozpin as they ran into the room. Both looking equally tired.

"Geez *pant* I didn't think *pant* you would keep up *pant* *pant*" Mr Reuber said.

"Never judge someone by their age, young Reuber." Ozpin exclaimed mockingly.

As the two continued to catch their breath, everyone's first choice to kill if they had that choice, Cardin was watching but he mainly focused on Reuber's ears.

"Hey, what's with the faunus freak?" Cardin asked with his hands behind his head.

Reuber (or by his first name Daylin) View

When I heard that comment I immediately looked at who it came from. And with that everyone focused on me and Ozpin.

"What did you say?" I questioned.

"None of your business, freak." This brown haired guy said.

"Ozpin... forgive me." I said.

"For what?" Ozpin asked.

"This."

I ripped off my shirt and pants, and quickly changed into my panther form, earning some applause and oohs from the people watching us. I growled at the brown haired prick, baring my claws and fangs. I hissed at the boy, showing I wasn't going to be dealing with this bitch. Everyone started to make a circle around the sh*thead and I.

Yes! Take him out like the little insect he is!

Do we have too? Trying to get to Beacon was tough as it is.

Yes he should learn his place and I'll happily show him where!

I was actually going to pounce on him but a voice called out for me.

"Daylin!" A familiar voice shouted from the crowd.

Awww crap!

Oh! I was wondering if we was ever going to see her again~

I turned my head towards the voice to see I was right about who it was. Ella.

"What do you think you're doing?! I'm happy to see you but your causing this scene.... and you're naked!" She scolded me as she stomped towards me.

Even though I'm a panther I know I'm sweating beads right now. So, slightly afraid, I slowly morphed back.

"There. You happy now?" I asked.

"Um....." She said as she quickly darted her eyes away from me.

"Huh?" I looked down..... "Oh..... Shit."

I quickly picked up a piece of my torn tracksuit to cover myself and awkwardly side stepped out of the building.

(Y/N) View

Everyone watched as Daylin left the dance.

"So, that just happened." Ruby said as everyone started going back to what they were doing before that.

"Yeah was really unsettling." o_o|| Weiss said.

"Seconded." Coco said.

But as the girls tried to clear that image from their minds Joseph and Joey decided to walk over to Cardin.

"You know you deserved that." Joseph said with a glare.

"Shut up newbie." Cardin retorted. "He just caught me off guard that's all. I could have easily taken him."

"And I would love to watch that." I said as I joined my teammate.

"Tch! You." He said in a low growl.

"I'm surprised that you haven't learned your lesson yet." I told him.

"Hopefully tonight would be a reminder." Joey said.

"Argh!" Cardin growled. "Just because your the so called "harem kid" don't mean you're anything!" He shouted at me which made me raise an eyebrow. "And you think you're so cool. Who even wears a beanie to a dance?" Cardin said as he pulled off Joseph beanie.... to reveal two brown wolf ears.

"Oh you're a faunus." I said casually before Joseph headbutted Cardin, knocking him out cold. "So were you gonna tell us?"

"Wait.... you're not angry?" He asked as he picked up his beanie and looked at me.

"What? Why would I be mad? I'm just a little shocked that you kept this a secret but I'm fine with it. And so is everyone else." I said as I looked over at Zack and Death who just nodded.

"Oh...." He said as we walked back over to our friends.

"Come on, it's a party. Nobody gonna judge you here." Joey said as he draped an arm around him.

"I'm kinda confused right now." Ruby said when we walked back to them.

"Why?" Yang asked.

"Well, you would think that one of our teachers would have broken that up that thing with Cardin. Especially Glynda." Ruby explained.

"Huh, you're right." I said realizing that Glynda is here.

I turned my head in her direction and saw something I would have never suspected. Glynda had her hair down from her usual bun, her glasses off, and was really moving to the music. Both Ozpin and Ironwood looked shocked as they watched her.

"Woah! Glynda got some moves." Yang said as we watched her dance.

"I would never think Ms Goodwitch would ever do this." Weiss said shocked.

"Well I did give her a liiiiitttttttllllleeee motivation." Linda said as she appeared right next to us.

(She's wearing this)

"What did you do?" I asked.

"I maaaaaayyyyyy have put something in the punch. And I maaaaayyyyy have given her the most cups of it." Linda said with a innocent smile.

"What exactly did you put in the pu-" I was cut off as I felt someone put their hand on my shoulder. I looked over my shoulder to find a very drunk looking Glynda with an extremelh red face.

"(Y/N) would you dance with me?" Glynda said slurred.

"Uh..." I trailed off.

"Drunk teacher or not I'm dancing with (Y/N)." Yang said as she hugged my arm.

"Sorry, but I'm going next honey." Coco said as she hugged my other arm.

"What did I already tell you! I'm next." Weiss shouted.

And soon enough I was surrounded by Yang, Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Nora, Linda, Ella, Coco, and Glynda. They were all arguing about who's going to be dancing with me. Death, Zack, Joseph, and Joey tried pulling the girls away but they were not budging. I sighed as I closed my eyes.

This might be tough....

I smirked.

....but I like a challenge.

"Girls." I said which instantly made them quiet. "I'm going to dance.... with all of you."

"Huh?" They all said as they let go of me.

"Like this." I said as I grabbed Yang's hand and pulled her to the dance floor.

I looked at Yang and I could see her massive smile on her face. I smiled back before I activated my semblance causing most of the other students to look at us. I quickly put my arms in position and started dancing.

I made the first move and stepped backwards implying to Yang that this will be fast. She quickly followed as we moved in a small circle before I spun her with one hand before spinning her into my chest with my arm wrapped around her. From there I easily lifted her up with one arm before I held her up with both. She let out a "Wa-hoo!" as I held her up then I placed her down near the girls.

Then I took Weiss' hand and spun her towards me. She bumped into my chest but then she looked me in the eyes with a surprised look.

"Care to dance, Snow Angel?" I asked which made her entire face red.

She responded with a quick nod which made me smile. I took a step forward which Weiss quickly moved her foot back to follow. We dance back and forth in a straight line before I arched my arm above Weiss' head so she could spin in place. Then in a quick transition I let go of her hand and moved it behind her back so I held her as I leaned forward, just like how I did with Raven. I quickly brought her back up and walked her over to the other girls.

Nora quickly took my hand and sorta dragged me back to the dance floor. The first thing I did was spun her in place which made Nora giggle happily. Seeing how that worked I spun Nora in every direction I could before I accidently let my hand slip. Which caused her to spin away like a tornado.

As I looked towards Nora's crash zone someone stumbled into me. That someone was a drunk Glynda. She had a smile on her face as she wrapped her arms around my neck but I continued dancing with her.

"Hmm. You know I always wanted to be this close with someone (Y/N)?" Glynda said slurred. "But everyone's always so serious. W-Why everyone so serious? But you- you're always so happy and innocent and trying to do the right thing. I just wanna- just wanna take you before those other girls do."

Before I could ask exactly what she meant by that, Glynda started leaning her face towards mine. But she barley moved her face an inch before Coco and Ella pulled her away from me.

"Okay, enough of that." Ella said as she and Coco tried holding Glynda back.

"But I don't wanna!" Glynda pouted.

Wow she's really drunk.

"Let's take her somewhere calm so she can sober up." Coco said as they tried dragging Glynda away.

"Hey! I'm coming too!" Linda said as she quickly trailed behind them. "I wanna take pictures of this."

"Okay....." I said before looking at Blake.

She gave me that same smile she did earlier and I couldn't help but smile back. I took her hands in mine and got into the right stance. Then we started moving across the floor in moderate pace.

"I'm really glad you decided to relax tonight." I said.

"Really?" She asked.

"Of course I do. Everyone was worried about you." I said.

"I'm sorry.... I just want to be prepared before something bad happens." She said as she started gripping on my shoulder with a sad look on her face.

"Blake?" She didn't respond back. "Blake, look at me." She slowly did. "I know you want to stop every bad guy out there but remember we're here for you. I'm here for you." I said as I softly gripped her shoulder.

"(Y/N)...." Blake said with a look I never seen her give before. And then she slowly leaned her face towards mine.

At first I didn't know what she was doing... until my mind clicked the pieces together.

Is she... going to kiss me?

Everything felt like it was slowing down. I just could watch as Blake continued to lean towards me. But before our lips connected Ruby fell on Blake.

"Oh I'm so sorry Blake!" Ruby said as they stood back up.

"I-It's okay Ruby." Blake said before she looked at me.

When she did I snapped out of trance.

"I-I need to check up on something real quick." I said as I quickly walked away outside.

"(Y/N) wait!" Blake called out but I kept moving.

I walked outside to the quad and took a couple of deep breaths under a tree as I thought back to what almost happened.

Blake.... loves me?

That's the only thought that ran through my mind for I have no idea how long. It could have been minutes or maybe hours but I didn't really care right now.

"(Y/N)?" I heard Raven's voice say.

I snapped my head around and saw Raven standing on the roof of the party. Knowing that Raven isn't the type to draw attention to herself I quickly climbed onto the roof.

"Hey Raven." I said.

"Were you just fighting? You looked like you were out of breath and your semblance is active." She said.

"Huh? Oh!" I said as I forgot that my semblance was on.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

"Yeah. I'm fine. Just thinking about something." I said.

"Well it's almost midnight. And they're playing a slow song." Raven said.

As she said that I could hear a slow song playing from the hole that Daylin guy fell through.

"Yep. And like I promised your my final dance." I said as I placed my hand on her waist and the other on her shoulder.

We moved a lot slower than all the previous dances I've been in but it was relaxing. As we danced I started to hear Raven hum to the song which made me smile a bit. It was nice being up here with her after all this time. So that made me ask the question.

"Raven." I asked.

"Yes?"

"How come you always wear that mask?" I asked.

"Because it helps conceal my identity in my.... line of work." She answered.

"But why not with me? When we're in the forest alone. Or now when no one's around." I asked.

"*sigh* Honestly (Y/N). If I arrived a few days earlier I would have shown you but due to the circumstances now I can't." She answered.

"What circumstances?"

She stopped talking for a few seconds before speaking again.

"I can't say." She spoke. "But if I could I would show you (Y/N). B-Because you mean at lot to me (Y/N) and you made a big impact on me in the time you've known me." She let go my shoulder and looked straight into my eyes. "So (Y/N). I will give you this." Raven said as she pulled her mask back so her mouth were visible.

Then she started leaning her face towards me. I was beyond shocked at this point. First with Blake and now Raven.....

But I slowly leaned forward too....

But before our lips touched I heard a loud scream and bullet shots coming from the CCT Tower. Our heads snapped in that direction in surprise.

"Raven, I gotta go check on that." I told her and she slowly nodded like she was in a daze.

Quickly, I ran across the roof and jumped down on the quad in a crouch.

Huh. I honestly thought that I was gonna break my legs for a second.

Shaking the thought I ran off towards the tower. It didn't take that look for me to reach there but when I did I saw one of the lockers that holds our weapons outside the building. I pulled out my scroll to call mine too but I remembered I left them with my other clothes at Raven's house.

Guess I'll be using my fists for this one.

I walked inside and saw a whole line of unconscious guards across the ground. I followed the line of the defeated men to an elevator with Ruby stand there with Crescent Rose in hand.

"Ruby?" I spoke.

"Oh, (Y/N). You saw that lady too?" She asked.

"No but we should hurry up and find her." I said as we walked into the elevator, then pressed the button to go to the top floor.

When the doors closed calm elevator music started playing which really didn't match the serious mood right now. I glanced over at Ruby.

"Do you think you can fight like that?" I asked.

"Sorta." She shrugged.

"Okay so if goes down to fighting give sniper fire as I come in close." I said which Ruby nodded in agreement.

When the doors opened again we were greeted with the sight of more unconscious men.

"Hello? Is anyone there? Hello?" Ruby called out.

"Um, Ruby. I don't think someone is just going to come out if you call them out." I said.

But despite logic a woman dressed in a tight black body suit and a face mask revealed herself.

"Told you." Ruby said.

"Um miss? I don't know why you're here but I don't think it's a good seeing the massive line of unconscious people." I said.

Then the woman took a small ball from her wrist and ice shards started flying towards us. I immediately grabbed Ruby by the waist and rolled over to cover. Ruby then started firing shots at the mystery woman as she started firing glass like shards at us.

Seeing that I have to do something I activated my semblance and charged at the woman. I saw her eyes go wide with surprise as I threw a punch at her. It connected to her stomach knocking her far back into the room. She grunted in pain as she glared at me but then it softened and she smiled. A little concerned on why she's giving me that look I charged at her again but then I started feeling like I was getting shocked all across my body.

I fell down to one knee as the woman smiled at me proudly.

"(Y/N)!" Ruby shouted.

But then I heard the elevator door open with a ding. I looked over my shoulder to see General Ironwood with a serious look. I smirked and turned back to the woman to see she's gone.

"What happened here?" Ironwood asked.

"T-There was a woman dressed in all black here who knocked out all these guys." Ruby said.

"Yeah. She just left." I said as I stood up as that shocking feeling left my body.

"Who are you two?" He asked.

"I'm Ruby Rose and he's (Y/N) (L/N). Students from Beacon." Ruby said as I walked over to the her and the general.

"Well I've heard many good things about the two of you and you did well handling yourself against an unknown." He said. "You two should get some rest. Tommrow I want you two to meet me in Ozpin's office for questioning."

"Okay sir." Ruby said.

I looked out the window to see if Raven was still waiting for me.... but she was gone.

"*sigh* Yes sir."

That.... took.... FOREVER! Almost 5000 words on this chapter to fit in everything I needed it to.

The delay for this chapter was because

A. I get stressed writing big chapters like this one.

B. The universe keeps making the simplest things extremely frustrating.

C. Because depression sucks!

Anyways.... (Y/N) learned that both Blake, Raven, and Glynda (sorta) loves him. But how will that effect the next chapters? And will the other girls show their love too?
