"Come on..... " I muttered to myself as I stared at the clock.

It's 3:59 but it feels like forever.... and I'm not just saying that because I'm in Professor Port's class.

"Argh...." I groaned which gets a hand on my shoulder from Death.

I glanced around the room for Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang and they looked extremely anxious. Especially Weiss.

When the hour hand finally reach 4 I took no time to get out of class. I zoomed past everyone to my dorm where I quickly changed out of the school uniform to my normal clothes.

Mini Timeskip

Death and I waited around the room as the girls got dressed one by one. With Blake just exiting out of the bathroom with her new outfit. All of Team RWBY clothes were different from what they usually were but I like them. Especially Yang's new look.

"I thought class would never end." Blake said.

"Alright, guys, today's the day!" Ruby said as she sat on the edge of Yang's bed. "The investigation begins!" Ruby dropped down from the bed happily.

"I'm glad to see we're taking this so seriously." Weiss said sarcastically as she got up from her bed.

"Hey, we've got a plan! That's.... moderately serious." Yang retorted.

"Right! Everyone remember their roles?" Ruby asked.

"You and I will head to the CCT and check the Schnee records for any other Dust robberies or inconsistences. Seeing as I'm in the family, it shouldn't be a problem." Weiss said.

"The White Fang has regular faction meetings to hand out orders and recruit new members. If I can get in, I can hopefully find out out what they're planning as (Y/N) watches from a distance as back up." Blake said.

"I have an old friend on the shady side of town that typically knows everything going on in Vale. Getting information out of him shouldn't be too hard..... especially when Death is close behind." Yang smirked at her own joke as I'm guessing that Death rolled his eyes at under his hood.

"Great! We'll meet up tonight near Yang to go over what we found. Let's do this!" Ruby said as she pumped her fist.

"Yeah!" I heard someone say.

The girls, Death, and I turned towards our room window to see Sun hanging upside down from his tail from the tree right in front of our window.

"Sun!" Blake said shocked.

"How did you get up there?" Yang asked.

"Ah, it's easy. I do it all the time." Sun said.

"You do what?!" Weiss shouted.

"You might want to rephrase that." o_o|| I said.

"I climb trees all the time!" Sun said seeing Weiss' reaction. Then he flipped himself into the room. "So, are we finally getting back at that Torchwick guy?" Sun asked.

"We are going to investigate the situation.... as a team." Blake said.

"Sorry, Sun. We don't want to get friends involved if we don't have to." Ruby said.

Oh..... I wish she told me that.....

"Psh! That's dumb! We should always get friends involved! That's why I brought Neptune!" Sun said as he pointed at the window.

Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Yang, Death, and I walked to the window and looked down to find Neptune on an extremely thin ledge under us.

"Sup?" He said.

"How did you even get up here?" Ruby asked.

"I have my ways." Neptune looked down. "Seriously, though, can I come in? We're like, really high up right now." Neptune said nervously.

We looked at Blake.

"Fine." She said as she walked away from the window.

I leaned down and held out my hand for Neptune.

"Thanks man." He said.

"No prob." I said as I pulled him up.

"Okay, so I guess Sun and Neptune are in on this too." Ruby said.

"Actually.... " I said gaining everyone's attention. "....I may have asked for some help....."

"Who?" Weiss said slightly annoyed.

But before I could answer there was a knock at the door.

"That's probably them." I said as I opened the door.

On the other side stood Harley and Joey..... who was wearing different clothes from usual and has a katana in a hilt.

"Hey." Joey said while Harley waved.

"I invited them because I thought Blake would need some back up closer to her just in case. I didn't expect Sun to show though.... sorry." I scratched the back of my neck.

"Wha! How much do they know?!" Ruby shouted.

"Absolutely nothing." Joey said.

"Yeah he only told us "Do you want to help out on a secret mission?" and that was it." Harley said which got me a glare from Team Rwby.

"I know it's extremely ominous but I wanna help as much as I can." Joey said.

"Seconded." Harley said.

"Okay then let's hudle up!" Ruby said which we followed her order. Harley and Joey stood next to me as we stood close together. "Alright, (Y/N) and I will go with Weiss. Sun, Harley, Joey, you three go with Blake." Ruby then pushed Neptune over to Yang. "And Neptune, you go with Yang since you're smart and because Yang's motorcycle can only hold two, Death is coming with us."

"But couldn't Death stay with Yang.... " Weiss said.

"Then who will Neptune go with?" Ruby asked.

"Us.....?" She said.

Ruby thought about it but then she busted out laughing.

"Hahahahaha! Naw." She said as she grabbed Weiss' wrist then started dragging her out the door.

"But, but...!" Weiss said as she was dragged away.

"I guess that was the signal to start.... Come on Partner." I told Death as we followed Weiss and Ruby.

Timeskip

"Woah!" Ruby and I said as Weiss, Ruby, Death, and I looked up at the giant tower in front of us.

"I forgot how big the Transmit tower looks up close!" Ruby said.

"Yeah this thing is huge!" I said.

"You should see the one in Atlas!" Weiss said.

"That was the first one, right?" Ruby

"Correct." Weiss said as we walked towards the tower. "Atlas developed the Cross Continental Transmit System to allow the four kingdoms to communicate with one another. It was their gift to the World after the Great War."

"Oooh, look at me! My name's Weiss! I know facts! I'm rich!" Ruby said with her Weiss impression which made me chuckle again.

"Don't be a pest! Besides, the only reason we're here is because you like the tower so much! We could have easily made a call from the library!" Weiss said.

"I know, but it's so cooool! Ooh, I'm going to take a picture!" Ruby said as she reached into her pocket.

When Ruby took out her scroll she accidently dropped it and it bounced up to the feet of our missing friend.....

"Oh! You dropped this!" Penny said as she picked up Ruby's scroll.

"Oh, hey Penny!" I saluted.

"Penny?!" Ruby shouted in confusion.

"Uuuuh...." Penny said as she started looking nervous.

"Where have you been? We haven't seen you since the docks!" Ruby asked.

"S-Sorry. I think you're confused." Then Penny started hiccuping and  slowly started to back away from us. "Uh.... I've got to go!" Penny said nervously as she tossed Ruby's scroll back to her then she started walking away.

"What was that about?" Weiss asked.

"I don't know, but I'm going to find out." Ruby said as she walked off. "You go make the call! I'll meet you guys later!"

"Wait!" Weiss said before she sighed angrily.

"Huh. That was really weird." I said as I started walking after them.

"And where do you think you're going?" I heard Weiss say.

I turned towards her and saw her with her arms crossed.

"Um... after Ruby and Penny?" I pointed behind me.

"No your not! You're coming with us!" Weiss said as she grabbed my arm.

"But it's a phone call!" I groaned as she dragged towards the tower.

"Yeah but you're still coming!" Weiss shouted.

"But what if Ruby gets into trouble?" I asked.

"They'll be fine. How much trouble can Penny cause?" Weiss said as we approached the entrance of the tower. "Right now we'll make the call. Easy."

When we walked in Weiss let go of my arm and put on a proud smile. Several people stared at us, probably looking at Weiss.... or Death. We walked across the lobby straight to an elevator with a lot of eyes on us. When we stepped into the elevator and the doors closed a voice came from near the door.

"Hello. Welcome to the CCT. How may I can help?" The voice said.

"The elevator talked?!" O_O! I said confused.

"We'd like to go the communications room, please?" Weiss told the voice as I looked around the elevator in confusion.

"Absolutely. Could you please place your scroll on the terminal to verify your identity?" The voice said which Weiss followed the voice's instructions. "Perfect! Thank you, Miss Schnee." The voice said.

When the voice went away the elevator started going up and Weiss' proud smile faded to a serious look.

"Are you okay Weiss?" I asked.

"Yeah." She said unconvincingly causing me and Death to look at each other.

When the elevator stopped and opened its doors, we walked up to the front desk which an almost seethrough woman sat on the other side.

"Welcome to the Beacon Cross Continental Transmit center. How may I help you?" The woman asked.

"Wha! She's see through!" I said. "What's with this place?!" I said slightly freaking out.

Death put his hands on my shoulders and shook me.

"(Y/N) she's an AI. It's just really technical just calm down." Weiss said as she turned to me.

"Okay I'll calm down!" I said as he shook me. O~o

"*sigh* I need to make a call to Schnee Company World Headquarters in Atlas." Weiss said to the AI.

"Absolutely. If you could head over to terminal 3, I'll patch you through." She said.

"Thank you." Weiss said before she walked off towards, what are called, computers.

We walked past some students from Beacon who were talking to people through the computer screens. When went to terminal 3 Weiss sat down at a computer and sighed. The once black screen turned on and showed a rotating snowflake but it was soon replaced with a woman with short black hair wearing a suit.

"Thank you for calling the Atlas-Oh! Miss Schnee!" The woman said surprised. "Good afternoon! Would you like me to patch you through to your father? I think your sister Winter might be here as well."

"No, thank you! I was wondering if you could find some files for me. I've compiled a short list." Weiss said.

The conversation was a short one and Weiss got the information pretty easily. But the entire time Weiss seemed.... off.

"The data is being transferred to your scroll now." The woman said nervously.

"Wonderful! That will be all, then." Weiss said with a smile.

"Are you sure you wouldn't like me to patch you through to your father before we go?" The woman asked again causing Weiss to drop her smile but quickly put it back on.

"Yes, I'm sure." Weiss said.

"Well, then... Have a nice day!" The woman said before the screen went black.

As soon as it did Weiss frowned and looked down at her lap. Feeling concerned, I leaned down so I was resting my chin on Weiss' shoulder and I wrapped my arms her neck for a hug. She gave me a soft smile and I gave her one in return. This time I was definitely sure that there was people looking at us.

I wonder how the others are doing?

Joey View

"Okay, so, what exactly are we doing?" Harley asked.

Harley and I been following Blake, and this new guy, Sun down the streets of Vale. Sun seems excited about this but Blake has been really quiet and really focused.

"Oh yeah. You two have no idea what we're doing." Sun said before he looked at Blake.

"*sigh* Okay. We are going to infiltrate a White Fang meeting. There's been robberies all over Vale that the White Fang has been involved in. So we need to find out anything we can about what they're doing." Blake said. Then she turned to me and Harley. "Can we trust you two to not say anything?"

"Sure." Harley said.

"I promise I won't say anything." I said.

"Good." She turned back around. "It's just down this alleyway." She said.

"Hey, um, we're about go into a faunus only place.... soooooo I think one of us might not get in." I said as we walked into the alleyway.

"Don't worry...." Blake grabbed one of the ribbons of her bow and pulled it off. When the black bow was taken off two black cat ears were revealed. It made me flinch slightly. "....I think I have that part covered." Blake said.

Then as a corner came up she peeked around the corner.

"She's full of surprises." Sun said as he patted my shoulder.

"Yeah... " I said.

I remember..... I remember why she looks so familiar.....

Flashback A Couple of Years Ago

"Hyah!" I shouted punched a hole through another punching bag.

I watched as I pulled out my fist and see all the sand slowly pour out.

It's been a couple of months since I started training in this dojo under my mentor. I definitely feel stronger from where I started.

"Huh. There goes another bag." I heard my mentor say.

I turned around and looked up at my smiling mentor. He had short black hair, black pupils, quite muscular, two black wolf ears, and a tail, and wore a white gi that showed a bit of his chest, white pants, red padded gloves, and his signature red headband around his forehead.

(I want you guys to guess who do you think this is. Especially you UlGokuBlack01. Just subtract the wolf ears and tail.)

"You're getting better Joey." He said. "Soon you'll surpass me and you'll be the next true martial artist."

"You really think that?" I asked him.

"Definitely. With your new found semblance you can probably take on challengers I faced with before with little effort." He said. "But the answer lies in the heart of battle."

"Okay." I said as I looked at my hand and clenched it a couple of times. A purplish flame surrounded my hand before it faded. Then I remembered something... "Hey, what time is it?" I asked.

"3 o'clock, wh-"

"Oh man I'm going to be late!" O_O! I said before I ran out the door into the streets of Mengererie.

I ran down the dusty and crowded streets to a little flower stand that I went to everyday. The stand was covered with all types of flowers found around the island but I always came here for the same exact one.

Ms. Anderson, the woman who owned the stand smiled as her small black raccoon ears and tail perked up.

"Ah, you came later than expected today Joey." She said.

"I know. With training in all I almost forgot." I smiled.

"Mhm. The same as always I presume." She said as she pulled out one red rose.

"Yep. I just hope I haven't missed her." I said.

"Don't worry, she'll be there. You go get her honey." She said with a smile and a small wave.

"I will. Bye Ms. Anderson!" I said as I ran off.

With that I ran down to one of few White Fang camps on the island. They've been recruiting a lot more faunus lately but I don't know why.

Anyways I always went to the one on the outskirts of town, where the desert starts. I looked at the white tents that held many members of the White Fang. But since I wasn't particularly a member I had to do so from a distance. But next to the sandy field of those tents was the training grounds. My destination. So sneakly as possible I dodged any eyes that could have spotted me as I got closer. 

I ducked behind a empty barrel they use to fill with water for those hot days. I slowly peeked over it and glanced over the many sparing pairs.....until my eyes fell upon her.....

She was a cat faunus with black hair and ears, and amber eyes. She wore mostly black clothes and wielded a black katana.

Everyday I would watch her spar against many White Fang members and win. And everyday I would put a rose down near her weapon when she's done. Why? Because I have a major crush on her.... but never really talk to her. I tried once.... there was a lot of mumbled words....

I shook the memories away and focused on my objective. I could see her sparing against a girl with long red hair, baby blue eyes, clothes similar to the cat faunus, and have a sorta long red tail and two small yellow horns, and they were both pretty focused on each other in this. But they were a lot of other people in the way before I could reach them and they'll definitely see me if I move away from this barrel.

Maybe my semblance can help?

I took a deep breath and focused. I slowly see a violet colored flame surround me. I definitely felt stronger than before and like I learned last time my hair spiked up and turned pink.

Okay. Let's see if I can do this again.

I peeked my head over the barrel and focused on the area around the cat faunus and the chameleon faunus. Luckily there was another barrel near them.

Perfect!

I narrowed my eyes and with a little focus I teleported behind the next barrel. I looked around just to make sure and I was definitely behind the barrel near them. I placed the rose on top of the barrel then sat down and sighed in relief.

"Hey Blake? Do you see that pink thing?" I heard a girl's voice ask.

"Huh? Oh yeah. I see it." The cat faunus girl voice said.

Oh crap! O_O!

I teleported myself behind the first barrel then ran as fast as I can away from that camp.

"You saw that too right?" Nova said.

"Yeah. But there's nothing here." I said as I checked around the barrel.

"Huh. Guess it was nothing." I said.  But then I noticed a red rose.

Another one. For some weird reason I keep finding these. I wonder why.....
