3rd Person View

Early morning came around quickly in the RWBY dorm. Blake was the first one to wake up out of everyone. Which is surprising because that's usually you, but due to last night you're extremely tired. She groaned as she forced herself to sit upright and then she shook you a couple of times to wake you up as well.

"Why.....?!" You groaned. "Can't I at least get one day off?" You said as you stuffed your head into Blake's pillow.

Blake petted your head as she got up and got her school uniform to change in. You tiredly got up, gotten your school uniform from your backpack, then went to change in the bathroom. After a couple of minutes you were both changed into your school uniforms and ready to head out the door.

"Wait.... aren't we forgetting something?" (Y/N) asked.

"Ummmm.... "

The both of you turned around to see Ruby, Yang, and Weiss still in their pajamas, staring at the two of you.

"You know that the semester ended while you guys were gone, right?" Yang said.

In response you fell face first into the ground.

"Guess not." Yang said before she turned to Blake. "So, you wanna hang around until he wakes back up?"

"No." Blake said in a stern tone. Then she turned around and walked out the door.

"What was that about?" Weiss asked.

"I don't know...." Ruby said.

"I guess she wasn't.... feline it." Yang joked which only made Ruby and Weiss face palm in response.

"No, just no." -_-|| Weiss said.

"*sigh* At least we got (Y/N) back." Ruby said.

"Yeah." Yang looked down at your unconscious body. "I wonder what he's dreaming about right now." Yang said.

Y/N View

This is weird....

I was right in front of a little wooden house. A warm yellow light shined from its windows and its doors were wide open. I looked around at my other surroundings to only find out that there isn't anything else. There's only a thick fog that blocked any view of the outside world.

A little creeped out, I turned back to the small house and walked through the front door. As soon as I walked in I felt the warm heat coming from an ongoing fireplace. There wasn't many things inside the house. A fireplace, a rocking chair, and a small wooden table that had a box covered in dust on top of it.

I picked up the box and dusted off its top to reveal that the box was labeled. (Y/N)'s memories.

Huh?

I opened the box and found a whole bunch of photographs. I sat down in the rocking chair and I picked a picture out of the box. When I saw what the picture was I instantly raised an eyebrow.

The picture I picked out was a group photo of me, an older looking Ruby, and a man I never seen before standing in front of a wooden cabin and smiling together.

This never happened.

I shuffled another photo and saw me and Weiss holding hands as we stared down a man dressed in nothing but white... That's pretty weird.

I pulled out another, this time me and Blake standing in front of a crowd of White Fang. They didn't seem aggressive like how they were at the docks. It looked like they were actually listening to us.

The next picture confused me.
In the picture was Yang and I making silly faces for a blond little girl. I couldn't see the little girl's face because her back was turned towards me.

I pulled out another picture that was similar to the last one. Nora and a redhead little boy on my back. All of us were smiling happily and the boy seemed as energetic as Nora is.

There was more pictures but before I could continue to look through them everything went black.

I blinked my eyes regaining my vision. I was still confused from my dream so I didn't even bother to look around. I just looked up at the roof, thinking.

That was so weird. Why did that box say that they were my memories? Those things never happened.....

I looked down and noticed Weiss, with her regular clothes on, sleeping on my chest. I slightly smiled feeling a little comfort from that strange dream. After a couple of seconds Weiss started waking up. When her eyes met with mine she jumped on her feet and pointed at me.

"I wasn't sleeping!" She shouted.

"Okay?" I stood up. "Where's everyone?" I asked while stretching.

"Everyone went out to go do something since we're on break. Yang said something about going to some club, Ruby went out to get materials for cake, I don't know why she doesn't ask her cake butler to do that for her, and we haven't seen Blake since she left this morning." Weiss said.

"Oh. Do you have any plans then?" I asked her.

"That's what I came here for. Because you were knocked out cold, I had to wait on you so I could ask..." She took a seat next to me, and continued as she looked towards the other side of the room. "I was wondering if you wanted to go to the Vytal Parade with me?" Weiss asked in a low voice. "I still owe you for the necklace so it's the least I could do to repay you."

"Sure." I beamed. "I've never been to a parade before."

"Then today's your lucky day then." She stood up. "Aren't I nice?"

"Nicest thing I've seen you do." I answered

"Thank yo- Wait, what did you say?! Are you saying I'm not nice?!" She glared at me.

"N-No! Of course not...." I sweat dropped. "Uh, let's go before we're late, yeah? Haha...."

"Hmph!" She crossed her arms. "You're right about that. Now get up before we're late."

Timeskip

By the time we arrived at the main street of Vale where the parade was taking place, it was already packed to the brim of people. Whole sidewalks were covered in crowds of people that stretched out for blocks. Parades must be really awesome if this many people arrived to come see it!

"Argh! There's too many people here!" Weiss shouted, snapping me from thought. "I should have a front row seat! I'm a Schnne!" She whined angrily despite being on my shoulders to have a better view than me.

"I know right!" A familiar voice said beside us.

Weiss and I looked over to see Ella with Lucy on her shoulders.

"Hey (Y/N) how's your wea-How many girls know you?!" Ella shouted.

"Hey Ella, Lucy." I said as Weiss got off of my shoulders. "Also...." I trailed off as I really thought about it.

"Hi (Y/N)!" Lucy waved happily.

"You know these two?" Weiss asked as she looked at Ella.

"Yep! That's Ella and her sister, Lucy! She's the one who made made my weapons before I joined Beacon and forged Burning Rose." I told her.

"Well hello, I'm We-"

"Weiss Schnee." Ella said as she crossed her arms. "I know who you are. I'm surprised that you're not that famous here."

"I'm more known in Atlas but my abilities are at the top of my class." Weiss said proudly.

"Under (Y/N)?" Ella asked.

"Under me." I answered before Weiss slapped the back of my head. "Ow...."

"Hmph!" Weiss huffed.

Ella put a hand to her chin as she looked up in thought. But then a small smirk formed on her lips before she carefully reached up and took Lucy off her shoulders so she could place her on the ground. Once she did, she leaned down to Lucy's level.

"Hey Lucy? Do you want to help (Y/N) go find a spot where we can see the parade?" She looked up at me. "If that isn't much trouble." Ella asked me.

"Sure. How about it Lucy?" I asked her.

"Yeah! Let's go big brother (Y/N)!" Lucy said as jumped up and down.

"Then let's go!" I said as I picked her up in my arms and started running down the cramped sidewalk.

Weiss View

I smiled as I watched (Y/N) carry that little girl into the crowd. They look adorable together, it sorta reminds me of how Winter and I were when we were little....

"So, how did you meet (Y/N)?" I heard Ella ask.

"We met...."

Flashback

(Y/N) shouting "... like a princess!"

Later Flashback

"We're falling to our deaths you idiot!!!"

Back to now

"... by chance....." I answered as I turned to her.

"Is that so?" She said with an eyebrow raised.

"Yes, as a matter a fact. And ever since then we've gotten closer." I stated without thinking about it, even surprising myself honesty. "We even sharing a dormitory in fact."

"What?!" She shouted.

"I can tell what you're doing." I sighed. "You're not the only one trying to win that idiot over. You're one semester too late."

"And I'll tell you this. I don't go down easily." She glared at me.

"Oh please. I share a dorm with him, and see two girls practically drool over him when he's shirtless. He sees a class room of girls every day; He sees you when he needs weapon fixed." I rebuttaled. "You're going to need a lot more than "determination"."

"Well, you're right about that... But mark my words, Schnee, I will win the war and beat you." She declared.

"Wait, me?! But I don't-"

"Hey guys, look who I found!" I heard (Y/N) shout.

Ella and I looked back where (Y/N) and Lucy disappeared to and they came back with that monkey faunus.

(Y/N) View

"You!" Weiss pointed at Sun.

"Hey...." Sun said nervously as he held up his hands in surrender.

"Oh hey! Sun right?" Ella asked.

"Yep." Sun said as he hid behind me.

Lucy ran up to her big sister and tugged in her leg.

"He's funny, sis!" Lucy giggled.

"I heard you guys where looking for a spot where you can see the parade. Luckily yours truly knows the perfect spot!" Sun said as he pointed to himself.

"Really?" Weiss asked skeptically with her arms crossed.

"Yeah. Follow me." Sun said before he started walking off.

Ella, Lucy, and I immediately started following Sun while Weiss didn't really want to come with us.

When Sun started walking through the thicker crowds Lucy lightly held onto Sun's tail while I held Weiss and Ella's hands.

"W-What are you d-doing?" They asked with their red faces.

"Holding your hands. I was told that girls like this." I said.

"You should ask for my permission first." Weiss said. I was about to left go of Weiss' hand but when I did she grabbed my wrist. "I didn't say stop. We're traveling through a crowd."

"You really are an ice queen." Ella rolled her eyes.

When we got through the crowd Sun lead us down an alleyway between two buildings. At the way end there was a fire escape that rode up to the top of a building. We followed Sun up the fire escape and saw probably the greatest view over the streets.

"Woah! We can see everything from up here." I said as I walked close to edge of the roof.

"Told you guys I had the perfect spot." Sun said as he put his arms behind his head.

"I guess I misjudged you." Weiss admitted.

"Now that we got the spot I'll find us some food." Sun smiled as he was about to walk off.

"Sun...." I said sternly with a glare which made him stop in his tracks.

"Fine." He sighed.

"Hey look the parade is starting!" Ella said.

We all sat down near the edge of the building, expect Lucy who was being held tightly in my lap, and saw the first float coming in.

It was big float that looked like a smaller version of Beacon with a guy dressed up like Headmaster Ozpin.

"That's the Vale float." Ella pointed.

"Are all the floats are supposed to represent the kingdoms?" I asked.

"Yeah. Vale, Mistral, Vacuo, and-"

"Atlas...." Weiss said in an annoyed tone.

I looked over at her and saw that she was glaring down at something. I followed her eyes to a float that looked like a ship with a guy dressed in all white suit, what looks like poorly dyed white hair, and obviously a fake mustache standing in front of it.

I looked back at Weiss and saw her gripping onto the edge of the building.

"Hey? You're alright, Weiss?" I asked.

"I'm fine." She let out an angry huff before her look saddened a bit. "Excuse me." She stood up and climbed down the fire escape.

"...... Hey Sun? Can you stay with Ella and Lucy for a second?" I asked him as I picked up Lucy and placed her onto Ella's lap.

"Sure thing." He said.

I quickly got up and climbed down the fire escape to find Weiss sitting on a small crate with her head resting on her palms.

"Weiss?" Her head shot up and looked at me. "I know you told me you were fine... But you don't look like you are."

She sighed. "I'm sorry. Its just that when I looked at that float I think about being back at Atlas... It wasn't the best of times."

"Is that so?"

"Let's just say these few months here, was better than most my life in Atlas. I guess I have to thank you for that..."

"You don't have to thank me, Weiss. I'm just happy that you like it here, y'know? Where I'm from, kindness isn't found often, but here? It's the opposite."

"Strangely enough... I agree."

"Is that because of your father?" I asked.

A shocked expression crossed her face before she looked off to the side, causing me to frown from my poor choice of words. I sighed before I walked over to her, and sat right next to her on the crate.

"I remember what you said when Blake and I left. And I would be lying if I said I didn't think about you while I was gone." I told her.

She slowly turned her head towards me. I could see her blue eyes start to become watery.

"I know we didn't really get along well in the beginning, but over time I learned that you're not as bad as I thought you'd be. You're a snow princess rather than an Ice Queen... So with that in mind, I don't want to know what type of guy would make you feel so bad, Weiss. So when the day comes to it that I meet him by chance, I'll stand up to him and give em a real piece of my min-"

I was cut off by Weiss' sudden movement; She turned her body towards me before wrapping her arms around me for a tight hug. At first, I was completely shocked, but then I felt something wet starting to stain my shirt.

She's crying?.....

I couldn't hear her sobs exactly due to the sudden roar of the crowd as another float rolled by, but regardless, I wrapped my arms around Weiss to share the hug.

"..... thank you." I barley heard Weiss say to me through the loud crowd and her sobs.

I hugged her tighter....

After some time later, the roaring of the crowd had died down, probably signaling that the parade was over. The top of my shirt was stained with tears, but I didn't really care about it at this moment; Weiss was the main priority now.

couple of minutes she released me from her hug and looked me directly into my eyes.

"Thank you (Y/N)...." She repeated as she released me from her hug and looked me in my eyed. Her face was still wet from tears.

"It's nothing, Weiss." I gave a small smile.

"We should probably go back up there." Weiss said as she wiped her face with her long white sleeve.

"Yeah." I said as we both stood up and went back up the fire escape.

The first thing we saw when we reached the top of the building was Sun carrying Lucy on his shoulders while running around in circles. Lucy was clearly having a fun time as she held her arms up in the air.

"What took you guys so long?" Sun said as he ran past us. "You just missed the last float."

"Nothing." Weiss and I said which caused Ella to look nervous for a second.

"It looks like Lucy might have a new favorite big brother." Ella said.

I gasped. "Is that so?" I said with a fake hurt expression.

"Of course she does. I'm a lovable kind of guy." Sun said as he past me again.

"Sun, whatever your last name is, I challenge you for the heart of Lucy!" I pointed at him.

Sun stopped dead in his tracks and looked at me.

"Are you sure? You don't want Lucy see you lose so badly, do you?" He said as he placed Lucy on the ground.

"Oh ho ho! I won't lose!" I said as I walked towards him.

"Neither will I!" He said as we glared at each other.

There was a brief silence before we tackled each other in a cloud of smoke.

3rd Person View

Ella, Lucy, and Weiss watched as Sun and (Y/N) fought each other in a cartoonish cloud of smoke.

"Boys." Ella and Weiss said with a smile.

Timeskip

Y/N View

Here I was, back where I started when I woke up; in Weiss' bed. But unlike before, she actually offered me to sleep in her bed. Which I agreed to since I really was tired after today. The more I think about it, Weiss has been at my side ever since we came back from the rooftop earlier today.

When we came back to the dorm, Ruby and Yang were already sprawled out on their beds and dead asleep. But Blake's bed was empty, I guess she must still be out.

Weiss was laying on me with her head resting upon my chest, and her body hugging me from the side; a position only Blake has been taking when we sleep.

However, I knew Weiss is still awake despite how late it was due to her constant moving around. I guess she's not used to it yet.

"Can't sleep?" I asked.

"Yeah. I'm not used to sleeping like... this." She whispered.

"I can go sleep in Blake's bed if you don't-"

"No, it's fine." She cut me off. "Just give me moment..." She continued to squirm around a bit.

"Alright." I looked up at dangling bed above us. "Oh, I forgot to thank you; About today."

"Thank me?"

"Yeah. If it wasn't for you, I'd probably be alone with just Kuma for the day with nothing much else really. I got to see a couple of the cool floats, I gotten to hang out with Sun, Ella, and Lucy, and I won a bet." I looked down and smiled at her. "So thanks."

Her face turned red, causing her to look away from me. "I-It was nothing, dolt. Just close your eyes and go to sleep."

I chuckled a bit. "Alright, princess."

She slapped my cheek. "Shut up..."

"Goodnight Weiss...." Q_Q

"Night.... (Y/N)"
