"Mum, why can't I have friends?"

Debbie: "Because people are bad and they hurt you, I don't want anything happing to you"

"Mum I know you love me, and want to protect me, but I want at least one friend!"

Debbie: "how bout you can have a friend in a few years I promise you, you will make friends just not right now ok"

"Ok"

As my mother walks away from the house to leave for work I sit on the porch in silence. My dads asleep and my sister is at primary school. She already 11 she's 5 years older then me, I'm 6.
As I'm sitting I see a boy chasing a butterfly
"I love butterfly's" I say to the boy

X: "hello"

I look down at the boy he has dark Raven locks and beautiful emerald eyes

X: "if you want you can be its other father with me!"

"Really?"

X: "yeah"

"I would love to, I'm Joseph by the way but I prefer Cody but you can call me Joey"

X: "hi Joey. I'm Daniel"

We get along pretty well I think I finally have a friend until

Debbie: "Joseph! Dinner!"

"Bye Daniel I'll see you later!"

Daniel: "bye Joey"

Debbie: "Joey what did I tell you about having friends"

"I'm sorry, but he's really nice and his name is Daniel!"

Debbie: "how bout you invite him over for dinner we can all meet each other"

"Really!"

Debbie: "Joey all I want is for you to be happy"

I run across the street with my mum and knock on the door

Maria: "hello"

Debbie: "hi my son and your son were playing today and they seem like great friends already and I was wondering if you would like to come over for dinner?"

Maria: "that would be great me and Danny can attend but sadly not my husband as he is Sick"

Debbie: "that would be fine I hope he feels better soon"

I look past my mum into their house and see Daniel, I wave and he waves back.

We walk back over to our house with Daniel and his mum my house is fairly big not to big tho (house above)

We walk inside and eat while talking to Each other. Me and Daniel have became really good friend. In like 3 hours.

Sooner or later night falls and they have to go home. At least I can hang with Daniel more now.

Debbie: "good night baby, love you"

"Love you"
