I said, with a smile on my face, "You can finally get out of th hospital now."

Niko said, "Yea! Well, I'm gonna need help walking tho....."

I helped Niko with walking.

I said, "I am glad that you are finally doing better but I am kinda of nervous about going back to school. Luckily, when you got hurt, that was when our school break started. Talk about a coincidence."

Niko said, "Yea, coincidence. Yup. Now, we're going to have to deal with the people."

You could obviously hear the annoyance and worry in my voice.

I said, "Yeah.......got to get back to school......where I am going to be a bigger outcast than before......"

Niko said, "But that's ok! We have each other!"

I smile at her.

She said, "And, if you remember what I wrote for you, we don't have to worry, I guess."

I said, "Thanks for reassuring me."

She said, "No problem."

I said, "How do you think our friends will react once we tell them that we are now in a relationship with each other?"

She said, "Crap-uhh. I don't know."

I said, "What about your family? How will they react? I already know that my dads would be all cool with it."

She said, "They'll be fine with it. They all knew this would happen either wayy-"

I said, "Ok?"

She said, "Plus, the way they'll react is pretty chill."

I asked, "So we are walking towards your aunt's place, correct?"

She said, "Yea, it's not that far away."

We finally reached Niko's aunt's place. I knocked on the door. I soon noticed that Hanako answered and opened the door.

She said, "Hello Diana! Come in, I'll help Niko."

I said, "Ok."

I helped Niko walk towards her aunt and I walked inside of their house. I watched as Niko and Hanako walk to the living room couch. I noticed that Niko was mumbling something.

Niko mumbled, "At least I don't have to have a wheelchair or something..."

I said, "What was that Niko?"

She said, "Nothing that's important."

I said, "That's what I thought."

I walked towards the living room and took a seat on the living room couch. Once I did, I noticed my cat, Nikana, walking towards my direction.

Niko said, "Oh, its the cat. I got you."

I noticed Niko took the seat next to me. I picked up the kitten and she had sat on my lap.

She is just so cute, I thought to myself.

Niko said, "Hey Diana."

I said, "What?"

Niko said, "Are you a cat, cause you're purrrrfect!"

I could feel my face burning up.

I yelled, "REALLY NIKO?! RIGHT NOW?! IN FRONT OF YOUR AUNT?!"

Niko said, "Yup! She's gonna find out sooner or later."

I yelled, "UGH!"

I was really annoyed at this point. I soon noticed the kitten jump out of my lap and started to run away from the living room. I noticed that Niko was now silent and looking down. I took a sigh of breath.

I said, "I'm sorry, Niko. I didn't mean to raise my voice at you."

Niko said, "It's ok-"

I said, "Ok."

I give Niko a soft smile.

I said, "So......"

I could obviously tell that I was awkward when I said that.

Niko said, "Uhh........."

I got up from the chair that I was sitting in.

I said, while getting up, "I should probably get going now. My dads might be worried about me and tomorrow is the first day back at school."

Niko said, "Yea....."

I smiled and said, "I hope to see you at school tomorrow."
