The reason Pendragon Highlands is something like from a fantasy book is because people of Peverrell Highlands are deeply committed in preserving nature and their connection to it. Whether it be the exams, or the yearly speech of the Duchess, and etc.

Also, Pendragon Highlands, also mean literal HIGHLANDS, they are composed of mountains, some Islands that is divided by water. The National School where Collëgë is conducted is a whole island with a few towns, afloat.
