Chapter 19

Sky and Jung Kook were becoming really close. Sky was starting to feel less lonely with all the judgey people around her.

It was lunch time. Usually Sky would take her lunch outside to an area no one really goes to but she was stopped by someone before walking out of the cafeteria.

"Hi" he said.

"Hello" Sky said confused.

"I'm Taehyung, one of Jung Kook's friends" he continued.

"Nice to meet you" Sky said still a little confused.

"Do you want to come and have lunch with us today?" he said and smiled.

Sky could help but smile back. "Sure."

They walked over to the table and Sky sat in a seat next to Taehyung. There were some other guys already at the table that she recognised from the parties. Their conversations ended when she sat down.

"Guys you all know Sky, she's joining us for lunch today" Taehyung said.

"Hi" Sky said shyly.

Some of them smiled over at her but none of them really said anything.

"Sky?" Jung Kook said from behind her. He just reached the table. "What are you doing here?" he sat down next to her.

"Um Taehyung asked me to sit with you guys" Sky said to him still feeling shy towards the other guys. She didn't know how they felt about her.

Jung Kook gave her a smile and proceeded to eating his lunch.

---

Jung Kook felt slightly on edge having Sky sitting at the table with his friends. He knew how they talked about her, some of them believed the rumours about her.

Everything seemed to be okay... for now.

"Hey Sky, when's the next party?" Yoongi asked.

Sky seemed a little surprised at his question. "Um... I don't know. Since everything with Jay I don't know how they would continue."

Jung Kook watched Sky as she spoke then looked over at Yoongi as he began to talk.

"Well the parties were your idea first, so you should be the one continuing them."

"I guess so but not everyone would come, it wouldn't be the same" Sky said then looked down at her hands.

"People would show... No matter what happened everyone still enjoys a party." Namjoon said.

Sky looked up and smiled at him. The conversations continued around the table. Everyone seemed to be getting along with Sky, whether they believed the rumours or not.

'I guess they see how nice she is' Jung Kook thought and smile while listening to the conversations.

(This was a random part of the story but who cares it's here now so live with it.)

---

It was the end of lunch time. Sky enjoyed that she was able to spend time with Jung Kook. She was walking with Jung Kook out of the cafeteria. She didn't want to go to her next class... she wanted to spend more time with him.

"What do you have now?" Sky asked while they walked through the hallway.

"I have a free period, you?"

"I've got history but I don't really want to go" Sky said looking at Jung Kook.

He looked at her, "Then what are you going to do?"

She smiled at him, "Ditch school with me."

Jung Kook looked kind of shocked but smiled back at her. "But won't you fall behind in history?"

"Never" She said pushing Jung Kook slightly making him laugh lightly. "Want to come to my house?"

Jung Kook thought for a second, "Sure" he sighed playfully.

Sky had a big smile on her face from his answer. "Great, meet me at the front door in 10 minutes."

Jung Kook nodded and walked to his locker as Sky went to hers.

She felt really happy and excited to spend the afternoon with Jung Kook. She quickly grabbed her bag and a few books she might need if she decided to study and hurried to the front door.

When she got there Jung Kook was nervously waiting. She smiled at him as they walked out the door.

"Have you ever done this?" Sky asked as they walked down the pathway.

"What? Ditched?" Sky nodded, "No..." Jung Kook said smiling while looking at the ground.

Sky smiled at him. "Ah... A ditching virgin" Sky teased.

She noticed Jung Kook's face go red. She didn't think too much into it and rolled her eyes playfully at him. "Come on hurry up before we get caught."
