Jung Kook sat quietly listening to Sky's story. He was surprised by everything she did just to become popular. He wished he had come to this town early and was able to meet Sky before everything.

"Boring" Sky said making Jung Kook laugh. She was joking around about Busan.

"I was amazed at the parties here though" Jung Kook said, which was true, he never expected such parties to be happening with high school student.

"You were at the last party?" Sky said, she seemed surprised learning this new information.

"Oh yeah... I took you up to your room when it ended" Jung Kook said and scratched the back of his head nervously.

'I hope she doesn't think I'm a creep.'

"Thanks I guess... I was probably a mess when you got to me" she said. She was right; she was absolutely wasted by the time Jung Kook helped her out.

"I was happy to help you" he said then smiled awkwardly.

Sky then thought for a second. "I didn't try anything with you right?"

Jung Kook was shocked and slightly embarrassed by her question, what did she think she would do? "No... No, you just hugged me when we got to your room."

"Really? How cute" She said and smiled. Jung Kook smiled but still felt embarrassed.

Sky thought for a second and Jung Kook watched her face. "We should try that again sometime."

Jung Kook's eyes widened at her statement, he also felt his cheeks get hot. He had already admitted to himself that he liked her, and being with her today made the feelings more genuine. He had no idea how to respond to her so he just sat looking at her.

She laughed at him, it wasn't mean but cute. "You should have seen your face" she said smiling at him.

"Um... you just surprised me" Jung Kook said trying to play it off.

"But seriously, you can hug me" She said more serious.

Before Jung Kook could say anything Sky lent over and wrapped her arms around Jung Kook. He hesitated for a second but place his hands on her back, awkwardly returning her hug.

"See that wasn't that bad" Sky said once the hug was over.

It was Monday. Sky came to school happy for once since her and Jay broke up. The friendship between her and Jung Kook had really bloomed over the weekend and it was making her forget about Jay.

She was walking through the halls when she spotted Jung Kook with his group of friends. She didn't know how to approach him.

'The other guys he hangs out with probably believe the rumours about me' she thought while thinking of what to do.

As she kept staring as a hand grabbed her and pull her to face them. It was Jay.

"Staring at your new boyfriend?" He said with a devilish smile.

Sky rolled her eyes, "He's not my boyfriend... but if he was why does that matter to you?"

"It doesn't matter; I was just seeing how much you downgraded."

"Downgraded? If anything Jung Kook would be an upgrade" Sky spat at Jay. He was making her angry just by talking to her.

Jay laughed lightly, "He'll never be as good as me babe... You can't replace me."

Sky was disgusted by him but confusion grew in her mind. "Why does it matter to you? Are you jealous that I might be moving on?"

Jay's face softened which answered Sky's question. He still wanted her, or at least wanted her to want him.

"You're pathetic" Sky said after figuring him out. She then walked away from him and towards Jung Kook.

"Hey" She said and smiled once reaching Jung Kook.

"Hey" He said and returned a smile.

That last bit of love she had for Jay seemed to have just died leaving more room for Jung Kook.
