Chapter 26- Visitors

"You are not going to school!" Seth holds me down as Gabbie guards the door.

"I have to!" I try to yell but it just sounds like the crusty left overs of my potential words.

"No! You look like death, and you can't even talk! Michelle understands that you can't make it to practice and your Aunt Rosa already called the school to let them know you were sick." Gabbie says and I pout.

"I hate being behind!" I say, again sounding like crusty left overs.

"We'll help you catch up, just get some rest, drink plenty of fluids, and take medicine, you'll be better in no time." She says and runs out the door.

"Are you tamed now?!" Seth asks sounding fatigue. I sigh and nod as he stands up and cautiously walks to my door.

I reluctantly throws my covers over me and bury my face in my pillow as I hear Seth run out the room and slam the door.

I sigh once more and before I know it, doze off into slumber.

"Is she dead?"

"No, dipshit, she's breathing."

"Barely!"

I slowly open my eyes and pull my cover from over my head, when my eyes adjust to what's in front of me, I cover my face again.

"Go away!" I croak.

"Well hello to you too." Says Alex.
"Please, go away." I beg.

" No." Ethan simply says and I groan.

    I uncover my face and look at them again, pouting.

   "But you'll get sick!" I whine.

"I heard your Aunt Rosa has a good healing recipe." Alex says and Ethan nods in agreement as they both sit on opposite ends of my bed.

  "Why did she let you guys up? Is no one concerned of there being two boys in my room?" I ask flustered.

   "Yes, because you'd be doing anything on your death bed." Ethan says sarcastically and I frown.

   "Shut up." I say and sit up.

   "What are you guys doing here anyway? Shouldn't you be at school?" I ask and they raise their eyebrows at me.

   "Sammy, it's 4." Ethan says and my eyes go wide.

   "Couldn't have been sleep for that long!" I try to exclaim. My voice is so scratchy.

"Oh is that so?" Ethan asks sarcastically and I roll my eyes.

"What made you both gone at the same time?" I ask and Ethan death glares Alex.

"Well, I didn't know where you lived and I basically begged Ethan for a ride here and he came too, because he's jealous." Alex says and Ethan squints at him.

"I'm not jealous...I just wanted to check up on you too." He says and I look at him and Alex one more time, before I slammed backwards on my bed and put my cover over my head again.

A few seconds later they got snatched off from my head to my toes, revealing my cotton candy, unicorn onesie.

Alex and Ethan stand on either side of me staring at me in terror.

"You are 18....right?" Alex asks and I cover my face with my hands.

This day couldn't get anymore embarrassing....so I thought.

"And is that a care bear?" Ethan asks with his eyes wide pointing to grumpy bear sitting beside me.

"I..." is all I can say.

"Taylor, what the hell?" Alex asks.

"I wasn't expecting company okay?" I say and Ethan chuckles.

"You are such a dork." He says and I sit up and put my knees to my chest.

"I did not ask to be bullied today, okay? This onesie is comfy and grumpy bear is a great cuddler." I say grabbing my bear snuggling him.

Ethan scoffs and Alex smiles.

"That's adorable."
"It's sad."
"Adorable."
"Sad."
"Adora- how am I even in competition with this guy?" Alex asks and I shrug.

"Rude." Ethan says and sits next to me.

"What we watching?" He asks and grads the remote, flicking through the channels.

Alex plops down next to me as well and focuses on the T.V. while I eternally freak the freak out!

"Can we watch a Disney movie?" I ask and Ethan raises an eyebrow at me.

"What? It's part of my healing ritual." I say smugly.

He scoffs and chuckles, handing the remote to me as I go on On Demand and search for Disney.

"Ooooouuu girl meets world." Alex says and my eyes snap to him as he's already got his eyes on me as if he was waiting for my reaction.

"No." I say calmly and click over to Movies.

I hear him laughing but I don't give it attention.

" Now, wait. I want to see what you guys are talking about. What does Girl Meets World have to do with us?" Ethan says, grabbing the remote from me and going back to Girl Meets World.

I sit with my mouth hanging.

This is my room! How dare he?

"Hey!" I squawk out.

"Shush you'll hurt your throat." He waves off, completely ignoring me and clicking the first episode.

"I don't get it, who are they in a love triangle with, Farkle?" He asks confused.

   "This is the first season dumbo." Alex says.

   "Looks like we're binge watching." Ethan says and clicks on episode 4 season 1.

I sigh and keep watching anyway.

"Oh crap! It's almost midnight!" Alex exclaims.

I look down on my phone with my eyes wide.

Wow, it's 11:56.

   "Guys, we've been watching this for waaay too long." I say.

   "And we're still only on season one." Ethan says.

   "Rain check?" Alex asks me and I roll my eyes.

   "No! Do you not understand how uncomfortable it is to watch this with you guys?" I ask and they both shake their heads no.

   "Well it's very awkward!" I struggle to say due to my sore throat.

   "But we have to finish it now." Ethan reasons and I roll my eyes.

If it was any other show, I would love to, but I'm dreading to make it to the third season.

    "Fine!" I say, mostly because my throat hurts to much to argue.

    "Yes!" Alex says and pumps his fist and Ethan shakes his head at him.

   "We gotta go, but get better. Talk to you later." Ethan says and I smile and nod then he comes in for a hug and I back away.

   "No! You'll get sick!" I try to yell and he scoffs and hugs me anyway.

   "I'm okay with that." He says and I almost melt in his arms until I look to see Alex with his eyebrows raised.

    We let go of each other and Alex clears his throat.

   "See you later Sam." Alex says and goes in for a hug as well, his head rested on my shoulder and I breathed in the scent of his cologne.

   It was addictive.

   Ethan clears his throat and Alex lets go of me.

   "Bye!" They yell simultaneously and leave my room.

   I lay back on my bed and just think.

Oh God!

This chapter was really short because I honestly had to get it all out in writing before I forgot.
I'm a lucid dreamer, and sometimes I dream a chapter in my book so, I did.

Don't worry though! I'll make up for it because I've decided to do something for the holidayssss!

I've decided to do a Christmas filler chapter every week until Christmas.

I don't really celebrate Christmas, but I know a lot of people do and I love making people's day. I know how it feels to be at a family gathering during the holidays and you're socially awkward, so you sit in a corner to read....
