Lexi to the Rescue
Cree was astonished by the idiosyncrasies of not only the students at the school, but most of the teachers. It was amazing to her how different this place was from a regular school but also something familiarities. She had only had been here for a day, but she already decided that professor Hoo-too what's your favorite teacher.
In his class, he was learning about the Ancients, and that was a subject that a normal human school knew nothing about. It seems like suddenly she liked school now, where in the past she would rather ditch her boring classes and go see a movie. Plus, he had me some friend. Jenny, who she had known from several years, was now going here and Millie, she had met the day before. She wondered if they were true. She decided she was going to believe her, that is until he found out otherwise.
She was walking down the hall to her third period class when she ran into someone. "Watch it!" a female voice yelled at her. She looked up and saw that it was Dawn Treader. She did not like the girl at all. "Why do you have to be such a klutz?"
"Why do you have to be such a witch?" a girl with long rainbow hair said. She was dressed in a dark blue pleated skirt with a white button down shirt with a blue flower tie and matching dark blue jacket. It look like a school uniform, but as far as Cree knew there was no such uniform.
"Stay out of this, Lexie," Dawn screamed at her.
"It's a statement of fact, Dawn Treader," she said, stating her full name. "Girls like you never deviate from their path. They just repeat the same pattern over and over, possibly for their whole lives, until..."
"Shut up!" Dawn screamed at her and stomped off down the hallway.
Cree laughed to herself, thinking it was so incredibly funny.
Are you okay?" Lexi asked Cree.
"Yeah, I'm fine, but that girl has a serious attitude problem," Cree said.
"I'm, Lexie, - she said and held out her hand.
"I'm Cree," she said as they shook hands. "I just started school yesterday."
"Don't worry. You'll get the hang of things."
Then suddenly the first bell rang. "Oh, no, I don't want to be late."
"It's Professor Underwood's class," Lexie said.
Cree nodded. "That's me too."
The two girls walked down the hall together. "I really hate math, but Professor Underwood is so cute."
"He's okay," Cree said, thinking back to when she first met him the day before. He was handsome, but she learned from Millie that he was engaged to Miss Morris, their Home-Ec teacher.
They entered the room just as the bell rang. It was time for another subject that Cree didn't all together like.
