A couple of months had passed by and Ruby and Sapphire were on their way out. As they opened the door, they saw Team JNPR as well as Team MAGE and Team NNJA right there. Even Sam was there.

Ruby and Sapphire looked at each other then walked out of the house to join them. Sapphire moved his hand to hold Ruby's. They both then looked at each other and smiled.

Then, they all set out for Haven, everyone was silent. They were still bummed out about Beacon. They had lost so much yet they saved so many.

"Hey Sapphire?" Jaune called out.

"Yes Jaune?" Sapphire replied.

"T-thanks for saving Pyrrha," Jaune said as he looked down.

"It was no problem," Sapphire said.

"I mean you lost your ARM!!" Jaune said before he got a glare from Sapphire.

"I can see that Jaune. Though we all make sacrifices in life. This one was mine when I saved Pyrrha," Sapphire had said as Pyrrha silently thanked him.

Ruby stepped between the two to break up the little skirmish. Sapphire then started laughing as he recalled something during the fall.

"At least I didn't get pushed into a locker and flown out to Vale," Sapphire said snickering.

"In all honesty, I had believed it to be my last bout. I had wanted to save the one I loved before I had lost my life," Pyrrha butted in politely.

"Yeah I know. If I were in the position, and Ruby were there. I'd do the same," he said as he looked at Ruby.

"Mister! I'm right here!" Ruby said as she pointed a finger at Sapphire, "And you almost lost your life...." She looked back to the last thing she had seen before everything had gone white.

"What would you be talking about Ruby?" Ren asked as he noticed tears were about to be released from Ruby's eyes.

"I was fighting Cinder, then Adam Taurus came by," Sapphire said as he abruptly stopped.

"What happened?" Nora asked.

"Well let's just say I need to pay him back now," Sapphire replied.

Everyone just looked at Sapphire as Ruby grabbed his hand into hers. She looked into his eyes as they started walking again.

About another month had passed and the group is seen fighting a Grimm that was possessing rocks with a tree arm. Ruby, Ren, and Nora were fighting it as Jaune and Sapphire were back behind them. Sapphire protecting Jaune.

Jaune was being the strategist. He didn't have his weapon as it was being upgraded. They were the only ones that were handling this Grimm as the others were farther down the road on their way to Haven. They were reluctant at first, but they had finally agreed to set off. Or so they thought.

They were fighting the Grimm as Jaune had an idea.

"Hey! Cut off all its limbs. Then go for the face!" Jaune yelled at them as they all were still fighting it.

Everyone had gotten in position to cut off each of the limbs the Grimm had possessed. They all charged at it and cut off the limbs as Nora smashed her hammer on the Grimm mask that forced the Grimm to come out.

Rocks went flying everywhere as Jaune ended up having to dodge at least a dozen. He noticed a shield plant itself in front of him and protected his family jewels from the would be rock that hit the shield.

They had walked back to the village to talk to the mayor about their Grimm problem. Sapphire and Jaune were on their way to the blacksmiths shop where Jaune was going to pick up Crocea Mors after it was upgraded. Sapphire had given Jaune some spare metal he had to help him out.

Jaune was now in the shop as the blacksmith put his armor on the counter. Then, the blacksmith put Crocea Mors on the counter after Jaune put his new armor on, and showed Jaune everything that had been changed.

Jaune grabbed Crocea Mors and messed around with it so he could get the new feeling of his upgrade. He grinned at the feeling of Crocea Mors being more durable.

The two had exited the shop and saw the other three walking towards them. Sapphire walked over to Ruby and gave her a hug. Jaune walked with him to the group and waved at Ren and Nora.

They all started walking off to the gate where they saw everyone standing there. Except for Naruto.

"We thought you guys left already. I see Naruto went off," Jaune said as he gestured towards the empty spot next to Sasuke.

"He went to go see Weiss. He's been thinking about her lately," Sasuke informed.

"Well let's get a move on," Ruby said as she looked at her boyfriend with a smile.

After that, everyone had walked out of the village and off to the next one. They had heard that there was an inn in the next village and we're excited to finally have a comfy place other than the ground.

When, they reached the village, they immediately went to the in to freshen up and rest from their long journey. On the way, Jaune had been training to help his friends. Pyrrha and Sapphire had been helping him train. To their surprise, he had improved immensely.

Everyone got rooms. Sapphire and Ruby had a room to themselves. So did Pyrrha and Jaune. Basically, everyone was in a pair. Sasuke had to go with Gray.
