Shad's POV:

I can't wait to see my plan unfold. I know that Irene is so weak when it comes to her friends and family. By now she must know that I have her children. I just have sit back and wait with my new friends. The Demon Warlock, Michi, and Ivan. We have our power. What does Irene have? Her friends? Pathetic! She won't last once the Imphs take form of all the children. She'll be so weak fighting them, she won't have enough strength to destroy us. Then we'll draw the pain out. We'll make them suffer as we have. Mwahahahah! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Aphmau's POV:

I've started a rebellion against Shad. I've been Irene for only 10min and I've already started a rebellion. That has got to be a new record.

"Hey Aph-- I mean Irene."

"Aaron, you can just call me Aphmau. No need for formalities. Even though I know that my guards are going to go back to that 'Lady Aphmau' or 'Lady Irene' thing like they use to. Actually, one second. Attention everyone. Just because I am Lord of Phoenix Drop and Lady Irene, doesn't mean you have to address me with any formalities. Just call me Aphmau. That is all."

"That should do it. You are an amazing leader. That's saying a lot because you use to be that soft spoken girl in high school. Now you are this beautiful goddess that is leading this rebellion. I'm proud of you."

"That's enough talking." Then I kiss him. He kisses me back and then it's over. I grab his hand and we walk over to Hyria.

"Is everyone ready to go?"

"YES!!!"

"I need Travis, Aphmau, Aaron, Garroth, Laurence and Kaitlyn to stand in a circle right here and join hands. Now repeat after me

Then a passage appeared with a light at the end of the tunnel. They were all ready to go through. All in their groups from the beginning. All but Aphmau. She was the head of the group and offered to go first.

Gene's POV:

I can't believe, after all this time, I'm actually suppose to be evil. This is crazy. I'm going to put it aside because right now, I need to help my friends get our home back. The tunnel looks long though. Hopefully it won't take forever, or else I'm going back to my old ways.

"Daddy! Mommy!"

"Dad!" Two little kids run to Kawaii~Chan and Dante. Are they his kids?

"Nekoet~Tan! Dimitri~Kun"

"Nekoet! Dimitri! It's so good to see you both." Aphmau looks suspicious.

"Hold on one second. Let me see if they're the real one. Nekoet, Dimitri look at me. Who am I?"

"Daddy, who's this strange lady?" They're Imphs.

"TRAVIS NOW!!" Travis transforms into a demon and kills the Imphs. It's an ambush if I've ever planned one. They want to make us weak and then make us suffer after they're through with us.

"Guys! Don't fight them! They are trying to weaken you so they can destroy when it matters! Just run Aph! RUN!"

Levin's POV:

"Mom,, listen to Gene. RUN!" She starts to pick up the pace now. This is going to wear some energy out. Nah! We can regain energy from running cause it doesn't use a lot, but from fighting. That uses a lot. Finally, we've reached the end of the tunnel. I wish it wasn't though. We all get ready to fight but mom and dad look like they're about to cry. Along with Kawaii~Chan and Dante. The kids are swinging in a cage in midair. I want to go charge at Shad for doing this to my little sisters, but I know he will kill me.

"Irene, I want you to meet my new friends. Oh wait, you already know them. You ruined their lives as you have mine. Wait. Why aren't you weak?"

"With the help of Levin and Gene, we ran instead of fight. Everyone knows, warrier or not, that you can recover more from running than fighting. We have some smart people in our group. Unlike you."

"Hey! Michi is smart! I'm beautiful as well. Right Laurence?"

"Ew! I thought I could get away from that train wreck."

"Hey!!!"

"My mom is a stronger person than you. My entire family is. My brother Malachi is smarter, my dad is braver, and my mom is stronger. Let my little sisters go or else we'll have to fight you for them."

"Come at me with your best shot. Irene v.s Me."

Aphmau's POV:

"You're on! Anything for my children back." So I lunge toward Shad, but something happens. I am in the air flying. My wings are flapping and I'm increasing in height as I hover above the plaza. I know what I must do. I keep letting myself increase in altitude and now it's time to descend. I lean forward and start to speed at him with my sword in hand. Everyone else has started fighting. The Imphs have taken form of other Jury of nine members that they've seen but aren't here. As well as other shadow nights that aren't here. Aaron is fighting Michi, Travis is fighting the Demon Warlock, Lucinda is fighting Ivan, and everyone else is fighting the Imphs. I'm one foot away from stabbing Shad right in the heart when pulls out his sword and swipes it at me sending me all the way to a wall. The impact is so strong, it collapses the wall right on top of me and I see black. I hear silence from the other side and I punch through the wall with no injuries, no pain, nothing. I have a glowing white aura around me now, showing Shad just how much power I have. He looks shocked to see this.

"How could you have more power than me?!? You spent most of you life without even knowing you had powers and now you are stronger than me?!?! Retreat! Everyone retreat!!! This isn't over Irene. This isn't over."

Aaron's POV:

As they run away, I realize that they left our children. I call Aph, Travis, and Lucinda over so they can use their magics to open the cages. I can tell that a barrier spell is protecting the cages by the shine. Speaking of shine. Aph still has her aura around her. I wonder what that means.

"Help us with the kids while we hold the spells! We can't hold it for long. Especially Travis and I. We just found out about our powers." Right when Aph said that, I start to run as fast as I can to get Elena and Lilith. Dante and Kawaii~Chan run and get their kids, and everyone else gets the rest of the kids. As they grab them, their names come into my head. Yip, Alexis, and Kyle. It's been awhile since we've seen them. This is only the beginning. Shad will be back. Probably stronger. Aphmau needs to train and become stronger physically, mentally and with her magics.

"Everyone, you may go and find your homes here in Phoenix Drop. Or at least your old homes. I will need Aaron, Garroth, Dante, Levin, Malachi, Laurence, Zane, Gene, Travis, Kaitlyn, and Ivy in the plaza after you get situated. This is only the beginning. We need everyone well rested and strong for the next time we'll have to fight. I will asign jobs later but for now, rest. I will see everyone in the morning." She looks like she's about to go into tears. I give her a hug. Then, Laurence and Garroth. Then, most of our friends are giving her a hug. Now the entire village is giving Irene a hug. Did I just call her Irene? After a few seconds pass everyone lets go and I automatically give her Elena. Tears are streaming down her face and she smiles.

"Thank you everyone. Now, go get some rest. You all need it." Then she motions for Levin, Malachi, and me to follow her.

Aphmau's POV:

I motion for The boys to follow me and they do. I'm bringing them to my old house on the hill. No matter what has happened, this house has stayed in great shape. Someone's inside. I pull out my sword and enter the house. The girl has light yellowish hair, elf ears, and is making fairy lights.

"ZOEY!?!?!?! IT'S BEEN HOW LONG?!?!?!"

"APHMAU!!!! IT'S BEEN YEARS! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S YOU! AND LEVIN? MALACHI? AARON? OMI!!! *gasp* Who are these little peanuts? You two have grown so much since your father......Wait. Aaron, you're ALIVE?!? I thought you died. Oh what does it matter? YOU ARE HERE NOW!!! You are actually in your children's lives. Not to sound harsh. I've been living here. I've kept this place nice and clean for your return Aphma-----YOU HAVE WINGS?!?! EXPLAIN!!!"

"Well. I'm Lady Irene. Don't call me that though. Just call me Aphmau. Please. Can you put the girls to bed. We need to go to the plaza. Everyone is waiting for us there. We can catch up later, okay?"

"DEAL!!! Come here little ones. You must be sleepy." She hasn't changed a bit. I didn't realize I was still in my Irene form. I guess I'm stuck like this until the war is over. Oh well. So the boys and I walk out of the house and go to the plaza. Everyone is already there. Okay, I can do this. I've made speeches before. This isn't any different.

"Thank you everyone for coming. We just had a battle with one of the world's most powerful people. We need people to patrol the wall. I was thinking Zane and Ivy could do that?"

"Sure Aphmau. We are from the Jury of Nine."

"Good. Now we need people to patrol around the town. Dante. Gene. Do you think you can do that?"

"What are friends for Aph? He's a Shadow Night so we have the advantage."

"Okay. Garroth as my first in Command and Laurence as my second in command, I need you two to be on watch in the guard tower once in awhile but help out with anything you can. Also, I need you to make sure we have enough resources to reinforce the wall some, okay?"

"Got it."

"What if I turn into a Shadow Night?"

"Run to the docks. I'll know you're there and go to you."

"Thank you."

"No problem. Travis, Katelyn, Levin, Malachi, and Aaron. You all will be with me to find people who are still here that we know. We'll check in the morning. In the meantime, we all need rest. We will all go to our posts in the morning. I have a feeling this isn't the last day we'll see Shad and his gang."

Ivy's POV:

I better go warn Shad of Aphmau's plan to destroy him. Luckily Michi and I are good friends and work for the same man. Let's see, where could Michi be? Aha! There she is.

"Michi, Aphmau has all of us doing different jobs. Luckily I'm working at the wall so I can let you all in when the time comes. Hopefully she doesn't change our jobs."

"Yeah. That would be horrible. So what is Irene planning? Nya"

"Well, she's going to start training with her magics and strength. She's also going to upgrading A LOT of stuff in town. Hopefully it's not to much or else our plan is doomed."

"And then Shad will be mad and will blame you and I for it. Michi will get this information to Shad ASAP. Thanks Ivy."

"Anything to destroy that little potato and win over Garroth Ro'Maeve. See ya later." She won't suspect a thing now that she trust me. Good luck fighting this army potato. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Travis' POV:

I have a bad feeling about having Ivy guard the wall with Zane. I know Aphmau trusts her or whatever, but it's Ivy. The one who caused her all that pain in high school. I just need to get to her house and tell her about my feeling.

"Aphmau, I think you should switch Ivy with someone else. I just don't trust her."

"I understand what you mean Travis. I don't 100% trust her myself. I'll go see I vy and switch her with Lucinda. As soon as I put Elena down for a nap. She woke Aaron and I up at 3:30 this morning. Isn't that right you little munchkin? Anyway, thank you for sharing how you felt Travis. You might have saved us a lot of trouble. See you later."

"Bye Aphmau." At this point, I don't know if we should half the people we do. Hmmmmm. Zane is a Shadow Night, but is Aphmau's best friend. Laurence we don't have to worry about. Gene, Sasha, and Zenix though. We might need to worry about them. They were bad in high school. In this dimension, they're ACTUAL Shadow Nights. We need to make sure we know who we trust is actually trustworthy.

Aphmau's POV:

I understand where Travis is coming from with his worry. I just need to go put Elena down for a nap and---. Huh? Awww. Aaron's singing Lilith to sleep. I go in and put Elena in her bed. I start to sing with Aaron and Zoey walks in. Aaron and I don't care though. We actually are acknowledging the fact that she's in here.

used to sing. Well, when it was just me and Aaron or just me. Anyway,

what's up?"

"He's back."

"Who's back Zoey? You have to specify. We need Aphmau to get her

rest and if it's anyone but Shad then---"

"The. *ugh* I can't believe he's still alive, but the Chicken Shamon is back."

"Aaron hide me. I don't want to see that...that...that creep."

"Why? What did he do."

"He existed."

"Well isn't it the horrible chicken house builder Aphmauoo. What a

nice surprise."

"*ugh* LAURENCE!!"

"I'm sorry Aphmau. He just sent his chickens after me and they block

my sights of him. They were all in my face. Also, he had a smoke bomb so

it was 10x easier for him to escape. Anyway, what are you doing here

Castor? I thought you would've been dead. I guess all my dreams are dead

now."

"Well Laurence. If you must know why I'm here then fine. I saw that

a portal was here and made my people uneasy. I needed to see who it

was. Unfortunately it was the terrible chicken house builder."

"Do you even know who you are speaking to. This is Aphmau, Lord

of Phoenix Drop. She is also Lady Irene, the most powerful---"

"Aaron, you're sweet for defending me, but he's not worth my time. He's not worth anyone's time for that matter. Castor, if you need to stay in

a house here for a day or two that's fine. Leave MY people alone though.

We are trying to prepare for battle. Actually, Chicken Shamon, can you

send a message to the lord of Brightport for me. When you come back, my

best carpenters would have built the best chicken houses any lord can

have. We'll even rebuild some of the buildings in your...village."

"Hmmmm. Fine. They better be good, or else I will never ask for your

help again."

"Oh no. Nothing for that. I'll grab some supplies for your trip and then send

you on your way." So I gather some apples, wheat seeds, bread, soup,

water, and medicine for his trip and tie it all up in a little bag. Hopefully we

can get rid of him for good if this works out good.

"Here. I packed some food, water, and medicine for your journey.

Laurence will escort you to the gate. Good luck on your journey. Now for the rest of us. Zoey, we'll need some extra help looking around the village for others who strayed. Can you help?"

"Of course."

"Good. We need as much help as we can get." So we set off.

Chicken Shamon's(Castor) POV:

I can't believe that horrible chicken house builder is here. She can't even build a house for one of my people. I can't wait to see what horrible chicken houses her carpenters build. Especially since they're HER carpenters. Oh! Brightport is closer to that village than the last one.

"Hault!! State your name and business."

"I am the Chicken Shamon and these are my people. I'm here to deliver this message to the lord of this fine village."

"Lady Cadenza, this man has a message for you."

"Huh? Oh my Irene. How do you keep finding me?"

"This time it wasn't on purpose. Anyway, the lord of Phoenix Drop has returned and she needs some allies to help her and her group of horrible chicken house builders in battle."

"Wait. Aphmau's back?!? And Laurence?!? Wait here. Guard, bring me my horse. Thank you. Let's go."

Cadenza's POV:

I can't believe Aphmau is back. I never thought there would be a day. I also forgot how close we are to Phoenix Drop.

"Chicken Shaman, lead me to Aphmau. Actually, nevermind. I found her." I hop off my horse and run straight to her. She's with this man. Hmmmm.

"Cadenza?!?"

"In the flesh. Aphmau, who's this?"

"Oh! Cadenza, this is my boyfriend Aaron. Aaron, this is a good friend of mine. Cadenza."

"A pleasure to meet a friend of Aphmau's."

"Aphmau, you have wings?"

"Yeah. Turns out, I'm Lady Irene. Heh."

"OH MY....YOU!! After all these years of knowing you, you were Lady Irene the entire time. Wow."

Aaron's POV:

"Anyway, I can't help but tell by the looks of your clothing, you are a lord?"

"Why yes. The lord of Brightport. You look like you WERE a lord."

"I rather not talk about it. Anyway, we were just about to send a few carpenters with Castor and then go on a search party for any people who had stayed here and are just hiding because of the portal opening. Would you like to help?"

"Sure. I feel like this is the beginning a new Phoenix Alliance, and with Lady Irene as our leader." Cadenza's right. We are going to have to start the Phoenix Alliance again. This, though, with people we didn't ally with before. People such as Okasis.

Thanks guys for reading this chapter of the series. I hope it was good. It took me while to come up with characters we don't usually see in her channel as much as we use to. Anyway, I know it's unusual for me to be doing an author's note, but I just want to give a quick update. As you all know by now, there is going to be two series within the big one.
