Narrator:Takeo had a great time at Sakura Empire, but the threat of the Sirens still holds strong. A few days after leaving the Sakura Empire, Takeo gets something in the mail in the morning.

Takeo:"Huh? What's this?"

*Takeo takes the envelope and takes it to his room*

Takeo(mind):From Atago?! What does she want?

*Takeo opens the envelope, and see certificates in it*

Takeo:"Oh my god...they really want to join me, huh..."

Takeo(mind):I don't think this is something you can say no to.

*Takeo looks at the certificates*

Takeo(mind):Atago, and Takao want to join me, alright.

*Takeo signs the certificates*

Takeo:"Alright, now to mail it."

*Takeo puts it in another envelope, and puts it in his mailbox. Afterwards, he goes to his office to check on the daily reports from his ships*

Takeo(mind):Ok, let's see for my favorite quadruplet. Z23, 65%, rank Friend. Javelin, 80%, rank Crush. Laffey, 85%, rank Crush. Ayanami, 90%?! Rank Crush?! Why did it go up so high?! Is it because our trip to the Sakura Empire? Zuikaku and Shoukaku were possibly right, maybe I've been an influence. Alright!

*Takeo hears a knock on his door*

Takeo(mind):Huh? I don't remember messaging anyone to come here?

Takeo:"Come in!"

*Enterprise enters Takeo's office*

Takeo:"Oh, hello, Enterprise."

Enterprise:"Hello, Takeo."

Takeo:"Do you need something?"

Enterprise:"Someone wants to see you, a ship from the Royal Navy."

Takeo:"Royal Navy? Oh, is it Wales?"

*Prince of Wales enters Takeo's office*

Prince of Wales:"Why yes, but I've also brought a friend from the Royal Navy."

Takeo:"Ok."

*A woman with long white hair and blue eyes enters Takeo's office*

Takeo:"Hello."

???:"Good day, commander. I'm Illustrious, of the Illustrious-Class."

Takeo:"Nice to meet you."

Illustrious:"Likewise."

Takeo:"Alright, so what is it, that you wanted to talk about?"

Prince of Wales:"I heard you recently visited the Sakura Empire, how did it go?"

Takeo:"Pretty good, mostly. What about it?"

Illustrious:"There have been sightings of Akagi, of the Sakura Empire, talking with what we call the Sirens."

Takeo:"Wait, what?! Akagi...I've heard that name before. Yeah, a ship named Atago, from the Sakura Empire, told about Akagi, Atago works with Akagi, but she told me that even she has her doubts."

Prince of Wales:"Atago, huh..."

Takeo:"Yeah, I've recently received a certificate from her, saying that she's willing to cooperate with us."

Prince of Wales:"So you were able to get someone from the Sakura Empire to side with us so easily?"

Takeo:"I don't think myself as that much of a charmer, but maybe she's taking a liking to me."

Illustrious:*Giggles* "You're so cute."

Takeo:"Uh...thanks..."

Illustrious:"Since I'm working with Wales on this, I might as well give you my certificate."

Takeo:"Wait, hold on, what?!"

Illustrious:"Is there a problem?"

Takeo:"Well, the certificates...you can't take them back once you sign them."

Prince of Wales:"We are aware of this, yes."

Takeo:"You're just giving me your free will just for this?!"

Illustrious:"Do you not believe it's fate?"

Takeo:"Huh?"

Illustrious:"Do you not think it's destiny, that we are all destined to follow your command?"

Takeo:"Hey, I'm not an actual commander. I'm just a 17 year old boy, who just happened to end up here."

Illustrious:"No, I believe the holy light guides everyone to meet with others."

Takeo:"The holy light?! Guides? Ugh...look, with all do respect. I don't believe you should just give up all your rights and even your free will just for this."

Enterprise:"Why not...we are only ships..."

*Enterprises speaks from the corner of Takeo's office*

Takeo:"Enterprise...is this what you think?"

Enterprise:"Yes, we aren't human. We are just objects in human form. We aren't meant to have free will."

Takeo:"...You're wrong...that's not you should view yourselves!"

Enterprise:"Commander, it's just the truth."

Takeo:"Yeah, did that truth corrupt you? Did you say the same thing to the old commander, because he sure as hell didn't think you guys had free will, is that what you were telling him. You sent him to prison because of that alone."

Enterprise:"..."

Takeo:"...I'm sorry."

Illustrious:"...Please sign the certificate, we'll need each other for this."

Takeo:"...Fine."

*Takeo takes the certificates, signs them, and gives them back to Illustrious*

Illustrious:"Pleasure to start working with you, commander."

Takeo:"Yeah...you too."

Prince of Wale:"...Illustrious."

Illustrious:"Ok, I think we're done here."

Enterprise."I'll walk you two out."

Takeo:"I go with."

Enterprise:"...Ok then."

*Takeo leaves his office with Enterprise, Illustrious, and Prince of Wales*

Takeo:"Thank you for coming."

Illustrious:"Thank you for agreeing to work with us. Now, where's Unicorn?"

Takeo:"Huh? Unicorn?"

Illustrious:"Yes, she should be around here...oh, there she is."

*Illustrious points to a little girl with long purple hair, and purple eyes*

Takeo:"That's Unicorn?!"

Takeo(mind):Aww...she looks so cute.

???:"I-Illustrious, w-who's this?"

Illustrious:"This is Takeo, the new commander. Takeo, this is Unicorn."

Unicorn:"The new commander?"

Takeo:"Hello, Unicorn."

Unicorn:"Ah! H-Hello."

*Unicorn hides behind Illustrious*

Takeo:"You're part of the Royal Navy too, huh?"

Unicorn:"Uh...y-yes."

Illustrious:"Unicorn's a little scared."

Takeo:"Oh, it's fine. Being a commander can be intimidating to some people, but I'm as nice as the next guy."

Prince of Wales:"What about your little seriousness from before?"

Takeo:"That...that I can control. I'm not a scary person, trust me."

*Takeo holds his hand out*

*Unicorn slowly takes Takeo's hand*

???:"Unicorn!"

Unicorn:"Ah!"

*Takeo sees Javelin and Laffey*

Takeo(mind):These two are always together, huh...

Takeo:"Hey, Javelin."

Javelin:"Oh, good morning, commander."

Laffey:"Takeo know Unicorn?"

Takeo:"Well, I just met her."

Unicorn:"Hello, Javeilin, Laffey."

Javelin:"Nice to see you again, Unicorn."

Laffey:"Hello..."

Takeo:"You know her too?"

Javelin:"Yes, we've met before."

Laffey:"Laffey seen Unicorn multiple times..."

*Laffey drinks from her bottle*

Takeo:"Ugh...I swear."

Takeo(mind):This girl and her booze!

Unicorn:"You know Javelin, and Laffey, commander?"

Takeo:"Well, yeah. They volunteered to be my first ships, they've been a big help."

Javelin:"T-Thanks, Takeo."

*Javelin blushes a bit from Takeo's compliment*

Unicorn:"...Oh, I get it." *Giggles*

Takeo:"Huh?"

Javelin:"Ah! N-No, it's not like that, Unicorn!"

Unicorn:"Commander? Do you like Javelin, and Laffey?"

Takeo:"Huh? Well, depends on how your definition of 'like' is. If you mean 'like' as in like to have around, yeah, their a lot of fun to hang out with."

Unicorn:"Aw, that sounds sweet."

Takeo:"Uh...w-well, they are just really unique people."

Unicorn:"...Alright, Illustrious?"

Illustrious:"Yes, Unicorn?"

*Unicorn whispers in Illustrious ear*

Illustrious:"Oh, you think so?"

Unicorn:"Y-Yes, I think it'll be fun."

Illustrious:"Alright then, give it to him."

*Illustrious gives Unicorn an envelope*

Unicorn:"Here you go, commander."

*Unicorn holds out the envelope to Takeo*

Takeo:"...Oh, let me guess."

*Takeo opens it up, and sees a certificate inside*

Takeo(mind):Knew it.

Takeo:"Well, I'll gladly sign this for you, Unicorn."

Takeo(mind):I'm still against it...but I don't wanna seem rude.

*Takeo gets a pen out of his pocket, and puts the envelope on a box to sign it*

Takeo:"There you go."

Unicorn:"Thank you, commander!"

*Unicorn gets the certificate, and hands it to Illustrious*

Prince of Wales:"My, you're getting more ships than the old commander, already."

Takeo:"Huh? The old commander didn't have that many ships?"

Prince of Wales:"No, he only had Javelin, Laffey, and Enterprise."

Takeo:"Just them?!"

Prince of Wales:"Correct, no one else wanted to work with him."

Takeo:"I see."

Takeo(mind):Well, he got enterprise, and I still don't have her so...

Takeo:"Did you guys meet him?"

Prince of Wales:"Yes, it was an unpleasant meeting."

Takeo:"...If it isn't too much to ask, what happened?"

Prince of Wales:"He was a disrespectful person, staring at us weirdly."

Takeo:"Ok, I get it."

Takeo(mind):God, I hate this guy.

Takeo:"Anyway, thank you for the information about the Sirens."

Illustrious:"Anytime."

Prince of Wales:"We're gonna depend on your new connections at the Sakura Empire."

Takeo:"I think we will need them."

Unicorn:"Illustrious, can I go play with Javelin, and Laffey?"

Illustrious:"Of course, Unicorn."

Unicorn:"Yay!"

*Unicorn, Javelin, and Laffey run into the harbor, but they stop and Unicorn goes up to Takeo*

Unicorn:"Commander, wanna come with us?

Takeo:"Oh, are you ok with that?"

Illustrious:"Unicorn seems to trust you, so I don't mind."

Takeo:"...Alright, I'll go with ya."

Unicorn:"Yay! Come on."

*Unicorn grabs Takeo's hand, and pulls him to everyone else. The go to the harbor of Azur Lane*

Takeo:"Man, no matter how many times I've been around here, there's always something new."

Javelin:"Oh, commander. How about we have lunch here?"

Takeo:"Alright then."

*They have lunch, and head back to Takeo's office afterwards*

Takeo:"Alright, nice to meet you, Unicorn."

Unicorn:"Yeah, nice to meet you."

*Unicorn runs off*

Takeo:"Heh...she's a nice girl. I got used to her real quick."

Javelin:"I think she got used to you real quick."

Takeo:"Huh? She's that shy?!"

Javelin:"Yes, very."

Laffey:"Huh...you know, maybe she's just starting to lik-"

*A scream interrupts Laffey*

Takeo:"What was that?!"

Javelin:"What the?!"

Takeo:"It sounded like Unicorn too."

Javelin:"Huh?!"

Laffey:"Let's go..."

Javelin:"Wait, where are we going?!"

Takeo:"Towards that scream, if it's Unicorn. She could be in danger."

Javelin:"R-Right, ok then."

*They head towards the scream, and see Unicorn being cornered by a guy, he's holding a knife in his hand*

Takeo:"Hey! What do you think you're doing?!"

???:"...What the?"

*The guy turns around, and sees Takeo*

Javelin:*Gasps*

Laffey:"Leave Unicorn alone, Commander Gonzales..."

Takeo:"Commander Gonzales? No way..."

Takeo(mind):He's Jack Gonzales, but how did he even get here?!

Jack:"Ugh...you!"

*Jack points at Javelin*

Jack:"You little brat! I told you I'll be back, here I am!"

Takeo:"Jack Gonzales."

Jack:"Huh? Who are you?"

Takeo:"I'm Takeo Koshiro, the new commander."

Jack:"What?! I told them that I was gonna be the only commander! Those pieces of-"

Takeo:"I suggest that you leave, before I call the authorities."

Jack:"Hehehe, hahaha! You think I give a damn of what you think?! I'll kill you, and every ship of Azur Lane!"

Takeo:"...Heh..."

Javelin:"Takeo..."

Takeo(mind):This guy...

Takeo:"...Just leave Unicorn alone."

Jack:"Oh, this little girl? What are you gonna do?! You're gonna try to stop me?"

Takeo:"...No."

Javelin:"Huh?"

Takeo:"...But she is."

Jack:"Huh?"

*Takeo points to Laffey, and she aims her guns at Jack, she shoots him and sends him flying to the ground*

Jack:"Ugh!!!"

Takeo:"Nice."

Laffey:"You don't mess with Laffey's friends..."

*Takeo goes to check on Unicorn, Javelin slowly approaches Jack*

Takeo:"Are you ok, Unicorn?"

Unicorn:"I-I'm fine, thank you!"

*Unicorn hugs Takeo*

Takeo:"Ah! T-There, there. It's ok."

Laffey:"Laffey can take care of her..."

Takeo:"Alright. Javelin-"

*Takeo sees Javelin state at Jack, as he's struggling to get up*

Takeo:"..."

*Takeo approaches them*

Javelin:"..."

Jack:"Ugh! J-Javelin! Help me please, I was always nicer to you. I took care of you."

Javelin:"..."

Jack:"I took you in when you were alone! I saved you, and this is how you treat me?!"

Javelin:"No...I was better before."

Takeo:"..."

Javelin:"I had to see my friends starve!"

Jack:"...I-I'm sorry, I'm sorry for everything I've done. I'll make it up, just please...help me up."

Javelin:"..."

*Takeo sees Jack hiding the knife behind his back*

Takeo:"Alright, that's enough!"

Jack:"Hehe..."

*Jack jumps at him, and pins him to the ground, he tries to stab Takeo with his knife, but he grabs hold of it, and prevents it from going into his chest*

Takeo:"Ugh!!!"

Jack:"You! You made them turn against me! I'll kill you!!!"

Javelin:"Takeo!!!"

*Javelin tackles Jack, but Jack fights back, and punches Javelin in the face*

Javelin:"Ugh!"

Takeo:"Javelin! Why you!"

*Jack tries to get up, but Takeo knees him in the face*

Jack:"Ugh!!!"

Takeo:"...Leave them alone, their just kids."

Jack:"Kids?! Oh, haha...you think they're are actually people, do ya?"

Takeo:"Of course, I do."

Jack:"You're an idiot."

Takeo:"Says the one who's willing to take down an entire army by himself."

Jack:"..."

Takeo:"We're gonna take you in, and you're gonna stay in!"

Jack:"Heh...I'll just break out again, and try to hunt you again."

Takeo:"I like those odds."

Jack:"Damn it. I hate you."

Takeo:"Right back at ya, bud."

*Takeo spots Enterprise running towards them*

Enterprise:"I can't believe he actually came back."

Takeo:"Get him out of here, please?"

Enterprise:"Gladly."

Jack:"Hey Enterprise...long time, no see."

Enterprise:"Come on."

*Enterprise takes Jack back*

Narrator:Takeo finally met the old commander, not the best way to meet, but they met, at least.
