Narrator:Takeo got to sleep with a bunch of shipgirls right before he has to go to a huge battle, but he still has some time before the battle actually begins. I wonder what will happen until then.

*Takeo wakes up, and sees all the Sakura Empire shipgirls have disappeared*

Takeo(mind):Huh? That's weird, where did they all go?

*Takeo got out of his bed, and looked around his dorm, but he couldn't find anyone*

Takeo:"Hello? Anyone?"

*Takeo heard a knock on the door, and he went to answer it*

Takeo:"Yes?"

*He opens the door, and sees his starter ships*

Javelin, Laffey, Ayanami, and Z23:"Good morning, commander!"

Takeo:"Uh...good morning, girls."

Javelin:"Hey, commander. Is it ok if we just hang out in your office for today?"

Takeo:"Sure, let me just get dressed real quick."

Laffey:"Laffey will fall asleep if commander takes too long..."

*Takeo went back into his dorm, and got ready for the day. Afterward, he went back outside. And he walked to his office with the girls*

Ayanami:"Commander, do you know what day it is?"

Takeo:"What day it is today? Well, actually no. I haven't known the date ever since I got to Azur Lane."

*They arrived at Takeo's office*

Z23:"O-Oh, seriously? We never knew about that..."

Takeo:"Oh, well. All I know is that we have a battle in a few days, so I think I should probably figure out how to deal with-"

*Takeo opened the door to his office, and he sees all of his ships that he has met from every region in his office*

Everyone:"Happy Birthday, commander!"

*Confetti and balloons fell from the ceiling, and a sign that said 'Happy Birthday' can be seen above everyone's heads*

Takeo(mind):What the? What is this?!

Takeo:"Wha...w-wha..."

Javelin:"Surprise! It's your birthday, and you never knew it was."

Z23:"We made a birthday party for you, but we were also working on preparations too."

Laffey:"We made this for commander..."

Ayanami:"What do you think, commander?"

Takeo:"I...I-I..."

Takeo(mind):I never thought I would have a birthday like this. My last one was worse than a disaster, but every ship that I've met and recruited since getting here took the time to make a birthday party for me.

Takeo:"I love it. I absolutely love it!"

*Takeo's eyes start to water, and he hugs his starter ships*

Takeo:"Thank you! Thank you so much, girls!"

*All of his starter ships blush, and they hug him back*

Javelin, Laffey, Ayanami, and Z23:"Happy birthday, commander."

Javelin:"This is all for doing so much for us, commander."

Z23:"Yeah, and we're not the only ones who think that."

*Z23 points at all of the other shipgirls that were in his office*

Takeo:"R-Right. Thank you all so very much for this! I don't know how to repay all of you, but you all have my deepest gratitude."

Enterprise:"Taking care of us is how you've been repaying us. Even after my harsh words towards myself and all the other ships, you still treat all of us like we're human. Once I told everyone that your birthday was coming up, they all wanted to celebrate it with you."

Takeo:"I-I...I don't know what to say to that."

*Takeo wiped the rest of his tears away, and Enterprise held out her hand toward him*

Enterprise:"Here's to you, and the many fun times ahead."

Takeo:"Enty..."

*Takeo didn't shake Enterprise's hand, and instead hugged her. Enterprise wasn't expecting his hug, and she also started blushing as he hugged him back*

???:"Big brother!"

*Takeo heard a familiar voice*

Takeo:"Unicorn!"

Takeo(mind):My heart can handle this! I'm gonna die of too much happiness!

*Unicorn hugged Takeo, and he hugged her back*

Unicorn:"Happy birthday, Big brother!"

Takeo:"Thank you very much, Unicorn. Is Illustrious with you too?"

Illustrious:"Of course, she is. The holy light is shining brightly one you today, commander. Happy Birthday."

Takeo:"You never change, Illustrious. Thank you both."

???:"Master!"

Takeo:"Uh oh."

*Takeo gets tackled, and falls onto the ground*

Takeo(mind):Ugh! That tackle was stronger than any of the other ones.

Dido:"Master! I missed you so much!"

Takeo:"Haha. I missed you too, Dido."

*Takeo headpatted Dido, and she nuzzled against his cheek*

Dido:"I'm so very sorry for leaving you for the night, master. P-Please don't throw me away."

Takeo:"Dido, it's fine. I've left you alone for way longer. If anything, I should apologize for all of those times."

Takeo(mind):I think I already have, but I'll do it again.

Takeo:"Wait, aren't you supposed to be helping the Royal Navy with something for the battle tomorrow?"

Dido:"Oh, we weren't preparing something for the war. We were preparing this for you, master."

Takeo:"That's what the letter was about?!"

Takeo(mind):Jeez, and here I thought the Royal Navy made some kind of secret weapon that would help in the battle, but I mean...they did this all for me.

*Dido and Takeo got back up, and all of the other girls said happy birthday to Takeo. Everyone went around the plaza, which has also been decorated for Takeo's birthday*

Takeo:"Wow, how long did it take all of you to decorate this whole plaza within one night?"

Warspite:"Well, it certainly wasn't easy. We had to use Eldridge's electric energy for the lights. The bad part is that not all of them could handle her energy."

Takeo:"I see, those poor lights."

Queen Elizabeth:"You better be thankful that we made such an effort for your birthday."

Warspite:"Your majesty..."

Queen Elizabeth:"U-Uh...I-I mean I hope you appreciate the work we went through to making these decorations."

Takeo(mind):I'm not sure what's worse. Her initial response, or the fact that she had to force herself to say a nicer one.

Takeo:"Well, You didn't have to make all this for me, so thank you for making the decorations."

*Queen Elizabeth blushed, and looked away*

Takeo(mind):Alright, now it's time to start the party.

*The party started, and with all the other ships hanging out with Takeo, he couldn't find a single moment for himself. He enjoyed all of his time with everyone, but he couldn't keep up with all of the shipgirls' energy. Eventually, once the sun started setting, Takeo finally was given a break, and went to a familiar grassy field, on the top of a hill*

Takeo:"Ah..."

Takeo(mind):This is where Javelin took me, and I discovered the 'promise' rank.

*Takeo laid down on the grass, and started dozing off. It didn't take long until someone found him*

???:"Jeez, why did the commander suddenly fall asleep? I-I guess I have to make sure he wakes up."

*After a while, Takeo wakes up with the back of his head leaning against something soft. He looks up and couldn't recognize the shipgirl above him*

Takeo(mind):Huh? This feeling in the back of my head. This must be...My head is in her lap. Wait, isn't that...

Takeo:"H-Hammann? Is that you?"

Hammann:"Huh? A-Ah!"

*Hammann throws Takeo off of her lap*

Takeo:"Ow."

Hammann:"W-Why did you have to wake up all of a sudden?!"

*Hammann's face was blushing intensely*

Takeo:"I was only taking a nap."

Hammann:"W-Whatever, you saw nothing, got it?"

Takeo:"Hmm..."

Takeo(mind):I can easily forget what I saw, but I can't say the same for what I felt. She was definitely give me a lap pillow.

Takeo:"Whatever, wanna head back to the plaza, Hammann?"

Hammann:"H-Huh?! W-Well..."

*Takeo doesn't wait for Hammann to answer. He grabs her hand, and takes her back to the plaza*

Hammann:"Y-You didn't have to go with me, you know..."

Takeo:"Huh? Well, I've spent this whole day with you girls. I guess I'm seeking attention from you girls now."

Hammann:"J-Jeez...idiot."

Takeo:"Alright, let's see where everyone else went."

*Takeo and Hammann went back to the plaza, and Takeo saw a familiar face*

Takeo:"Bismarck! I haven't seen at all during this entire party."

Bismarck:"Ah, commander. I'm deeply sorry for not saying this before, but happy birthday."

Takeo:"T-Thanks Bismarck. Do you know where everyone else is?"

Bismarck:"Indeed, I do. I can guide you if you want."

Takeo:"Oh, sure. Thank you."

Hammann:"Hmph, see. You don't even need me to go with you."

Takeo:"No, I didn't need you to, but I wanted you to."

Hammann:"U-Uh...f-fine then."

*Takeo and Hammann follow Bismarck, and they go to the beach, where everyone was hanging out*

Takeo(mind):My birthday party at the beach, I don't know if these girls were trying to make me have fun, or have PTSD.

*Takeo hesitate, but still continued walking towards the beach. It didn't take long before he was dragged along by a couple of other shipgirls. The sun started setting, and that was when everyone decided to leave*

Takeo:"Thank you everyone, for all of this."

Narrator:And that's the birthday episode. Now it's time that we take this story very serious now. Hope you guys are ready, because it's going to be intense.
