*Takeo was carrying the little girl on his back, as he and Surcouf were walking along the headquarters of Iris Libre, trying to find Takeo's ships*

Takeo:"I think I see them."

Surcouf:"Are they your girls or something?"

Takeo:"Well, I wouldn't call them my girls, as in girlfriends. They're just the main girls that I hang out with."

Surcouf:"Hmm..."

Takeo:"What's with the stare?"

Surcouf:"I'm trying to decide if you're either dense or mean."

Takeo:"You really think they're my girlfriends?!"

Takeo(mind):Well, I have been on two dates with Dido, so technically she has been my girlfriend.

*Takeo blushes while Dido and the starter ships spot him*

Javelin:"Hey, the commander's over here."

Dido:"Huh? M-Master?!"

Z23:"Jeez, what took him so...long..."

*The girls look at Surcouf, and give her a glare*

Surcouf:"Heh, look at them. They think I've stolen their man."

Ayanami:"Who are you?"

Surcouf:"I'm Surcouf, a submarine of the Iris Libre."

Ayanami:"A submarine? Most submarines are..."

Surcouf:"I'm the exception to that."

Ayanami:"No, you're clothing's lewd like all the other submarines."

Surcouf:"Huh?!"

Z23."A-Anyway, where have you been, commander? We thought you were still meeting with the leader of Iris Libre."

Takeo:"One, the leader's a nice person. Two, I got lost. Three, I found her."

*Takeo shows them the little girl on his back, and Laffey gets up and starts approaching Takeo*

Laffey:"Laffey's spot has been taken...must annihilate target..."

Takeo:"Uh...Laffey?"

Laffey:"Deactivating self-imposed limiter..."

Takeo:"Laffey...Laffey, no. Stop it!"

Z23:"I'm calling Enterprise."

Takeo:"You stop too. I don't wanna get blown up nor arrested for trying to help this girl out."

Z23:"Ok, exactly how are you helping her?"

Takeo:"I found her on the floor of headquarters, so I decided to wait for her to wake up so I can help her find her way back to where she looked like she was going. That's my testimony."

Z23:"Hmm..."

Takeo:"Ugh..."

*Takeo suddenly sees a black aura behind the starter ships*

Takeo(mind):Oh, I hear boss music...

*Dido approaches Takeo, with a black aura surrounding her*

Dido:"Master has replaced me...master abandoned me after all."

Takeo:"Oh jeez, no! I did not replace you, Dido. You're still my best maid."

Dido:"Master abandoned me...master abandoned me...master abandoned me... master abandoned me."

Takeo:"No, I didn't. No, I didn't. No, I didn't. No, I didn't!"

Takeo(mind):I knew the girls would be surprised to see me with these two, but not like this!

*The girl on Takeo's back started waking up*

???:"Huh? What the..."

Surcouf:"Oh, commander. She's awake."

Takeo:"Huh? Oh, you're finally awake."

???:"Huh...wake me up later..."

Takeo:"Huh?"

???:"Zzz..."

Takeo:"Wait a minute, I was waiting for you to wake up, don't go back to sleep."

*Takeo shakes the girl awake again, and she gets off of Takeo's back*

???:*Yawns* "Who are you exactly?"

Takeo:"Nice to meet you too...I'm Takeo..."

???:"Oh yeah...the new commander, right?"

Takeo:"Yeah, what's your name?"

???:"I am Le Malin. A Destroyer from the Vichya Dominion."

Surcouf:"Oh, that's why I didn't remember you. You're from the Vichya Dominion."

Le Malin:"...Who is she?"

Takeo(mind):Well, I've found a French version of Laffey.

*All of the ships introduce themselves*

Le Malin:"Can I go sleep now?"

Takeo:"No, you need to go to where you were going to go."

Le Malin:"And where might that be?"

Takeo:"Huh?"

Le Malin:"Huh?"

Takeo:"...You mean to tell me that you don't even know where you were gonna go to?!"

Le Malin:"I normally fall asleep in random areas, I don't have anywhere I 'go to'."

Takeo(mind):You're telling me I carried her on my back for about an hour, and I did it for nothing?

Takeo:"Ugh...well, it's been nice knowing you, Le Malin."

Le Malin:"Oh, one more thing..."

*Le Malin brings out a certificate*

Takeo(mind):I almost don't want to sign her certificate after what she just pulled on me.

*Takeo takes the certificate, and gives it back to Le Malin*

Le Malin:"Bye bye, now..."

Surcouf:"I guess I should take my leave too."

Takeo:"You're leaving too?"

Surcouf:"Yeah, I've got to go someplace before I get yelled at by Jeanne."

Takeo:"Jeanne? Wait, who?"

Surcouf:"Oh, I have this instructor for combat training, I call her Jeanne."

Takeo(mind):Like as in Jeanne d'Arc, like the actual historical figure, or the anime version of her?

Surcouf:"Does she sound interesting to you?"

*Takeo can feel the pressure from his ships glaring at him from behind*

Takeo:"No, not really..."

Takeo(mind):Even though I want to know what version of Jeanne d'Arc she is...

Surcouf:"Oh well, let me know if ya change your mind."

*Surcouf winks as she starts running off*

Takeo:"...So...what should we do now, girls?"

*Javelin, Laffey, and Dido glare at me*

Takeo:"...I'm sorry..."

Z23:"Ok guys, come on. Everything that happened wasn't the commander's fault, so let's just forget about it, ok?"

Takeo(mind):I'm glad someone is taking this surprising well.

Ayanami:"Why is everyone angry at the commander? The invaders are gone now."

Javelin:"The commander had another girl with him!"

Laffey:"Laffey's spot has been stolen by another girl..."

Dido:"Master abandoned me, I am a useless maid after all..."

Takeo:"...I'm sorry..."

Takeo(mind):I regret my life.

Z23:"H-Hey, let's spend time with the commander to make up for it."

Takeo:"Y-Yeah, who wants to have some one-on-one bonding time with yours truly?"

Javelin, Laffey, Dido, Ayanami, and Z23:"Me."

Takeo:"..."

Takeo(mind):Oh boy. I've got to decide this. Let's see...three, two, one. You!

Takeo:"Alright, Laffey's up first!"

Laffey:"Yay..."

Dido:"A-Alright, we'll go do something else in the mean time."

*Laffey goes up on Takeo's back, and they walk around the plaza*

Laffey:"Mmm...Laffey is happy..."

Takeo:"I'm glad you're enjoying this, at least."

Laffey:"Oh, commander...Laffey needs another drink..."

Takeo:"Ugh...I guess it can't be helped."

Takeo(mind):How am I going to explain this to the cashier or bartender though?

*We go into a grocery store, and get a bottle of booze that Laffey starts drinking immediately*

Takeo(mind):The cashier was giving me a weird look...I should've given Laffey the drink after we left the store.

Takeo:"Alright, are you satisfied, Laffey?"

Laffey:"No...Laffey wants to be with commander forever...then Laffey will be satisfied...maybe..."

Takeo:"Haha, really? that's what I need to do?"

*Laffey holds onto Takeo's back tightly*

Takeo:"...O-Oh, you were serious."

Takeo(mind):Is this another emotional event?

Laffey:"Probably...Laffey wants to be with commander..."

*Laffey's face blushes a little, and she looks away*

Takeo:"Huh?"

Takeo(mind):I think I understand what she means.

Takeo:"Don't worry, Laffey. No one can replace you. Just because I helped a girl with a similar personality doesn't mean she's gonna be the 'new Laffey', or something like that."

Laffey:"..."

Takeo:"You all will always be the main girls I go back to, no matter how long I've been without you."

Laffey:"...Commander...zzz..."

*Laffey falls asleep on Takeo's back*

Takeo:"Of course she's asleep..."

Takeo(mind):Ugh...at this point, I can't even get mad at her.

*Takeo carries Laffey, and they meet up with the other girls*

Takeo:"Alright, we had our little bonding segment."

Ayanami:"That was kinda quick."

Takeo:"Alright, who's next?"

Javelin:"Oh, me, me, me. I call next!"

Takeo:"Alright, alright. Javelin it is."

Javelin:"Yeah!"

*Javelin walks next to Takeo, and they walk around the plaza*

Takeo:"So Javelin, I have a question."

Javelin:"Yes? What do you need, Commander?"

Takeo:"I want to know why you always wear that crown in your head. It's not like you're a queen or something, right?"

Javelin:"Oh no, everyone in my class wears a crown, we just haven't meet anyone from my class yet."

Takeo:"Huh...ok then."

Takeo(mind):So it has something to do with her class.

Javelin:"Hey, commander?"

Takeo:"Yes? What's up?"

Javelin:"Am I...disappointing you?"

Takeo:"Huh? No, of course not."

Javelin:"I-I mean, are you satisfied with me?"

Takeo:"Yes, I am. You ask that question like I'm not your commander anymore."

Javelin:"I-I didn't mean it like that."

Takeo:"I meant you say that like you think I've abandoned you."

Javelin:"O-Oh, well..."

*Javelin's face starts blushing a bit, and she stares right at Takeo*

Javelin:"I just don't want you to turn your back on me."

Takeo:"I see."

Javelin:"It's just...you mean so much to me, more than the others even."

Takeo:"W-Well, I'm not going to abandon you girls at all. Not a single one of you is gonna be replaced or forgotten about."

Javelin:"Commander...thank you so much!"

*Javelin hugs Takeo*

Takeo:"Haha."

Takeo(mind):That made my day better.

Takeo:"Alright, time to go back to the others."

Javelin:"A little longer? Please?"

Takeo:"Oh, fine then. Haha."

*A few minute have past, and Javelin is still hugging Takeo*

Takeo:"...Ok, how about now?"

Javelin:"Please, just another minute?"

Takeo(mind):You said that two minutes ago!

Takeo:"Ugh, fine then."

*Takeo grabs onto Javelin, and carries her as they meet back up with the others*

Takeo(mind):These moments are like little 'lift-up' moments for the girls, that's nice. This is gonna be nice. I wonder who I should pick next though...

Hey bros, it's the sleepy author again. I don't really know how much longer I can go with this story anymore. I'm tempted on juts ending it after they visit the Sardegna Empire, but hopefully putting in the plot with Akagi in there. I just don't want this comedic story to end with so many plot holes. Aside from that, I've got the rest of my gift from my mom a few days ago, and I've already hung them up.
