Narrator:Takeo has four battleships at his disposal, he now has to embark on his first mission, the question is...how is he going to do? Well, let's find out

*Takeo wakes up the next morning*

Takeo:*Yawns* "Ah..."

Takeo(mind):Oh right, I'm a commander now...

Takeo:"So this is really happening...alright."

*Takeo gets up, puts on his uniform, and has breakfast, he then goes to his office and looks at the ships relationship reports*

Takeo:"Ok, let's see..."

Takeo(mind):Is there a manual to this, or something?

*Takeo finds an explanation towards the relationship reports*

Takeo(mind):Ok, so it's like a percentage thing that goes up the more you get closer to the girls, there are ranks to it?! The ranks are Stranger, Friend, Crush, and then Lover, ok...once you get to the Lover rank, you can engage your girl...that's...

Takeo:"this is so bizarre...heh..."

*Takeo looks at the ships relationship reports*

Takeo(mind):Let's see Javelin's first...25%, huh...well, I'm just starting. Laffey is...35%, thanks Laffey...Z23 is...15%, makes sense...and lastly, Ayanami is...5%?! I see how it is.

Takeo:"I've got some ways to go. I need to have these girls respect me."

*Takeo starts working, his ships come into his office later in the day*

Takeo:"Yes?"

Javelin:"Enterprise sent us here, something about a emergency mission."

Takeo:"Oh? A mission? what is it?"

Ayanami:"She told us to rescue a fallen ship in the Mediterranean."

Takeo:"Oooooooo...the Mediterranean, huh...never been there before, let's get going."

Takeo(mind):My first mission as Commander, alright!

*Takeo and his ships head out of his office*

Takeo:"Ok, where am I supposed to go?"

Laffey:"We have special ship for Takeo..."

Takeo:"Oh?"

Z23:"Made of the toughest metal we can find, with bulletproof windows, and four anchors to fully settle in any line of fire."

Takeo:"So it's basically a moving fortress...wow!"

Takeo(mind):At least I don't need to worry about getting hit...

Takeo:"So we're just the clean up from a battle, huh..."

Ayanami:"You have a problem with that?"

Takeo:"N-No...but I was expecting my first mission to be trying to prevent a invasion, but now that I think of it, this seems fitting for my first mission."

Javelin:"I'm just glad we're going on mission at all."

Z23:"We still need to focus, no matter the mission."

Takeo:"Good point, alright. Let's go."

*Takeo gets in his ship and the girls transform, Takeo sees a headset on top of a bunch of computers near a window of the ships*

Takeo:"Hmm? There's a note."

Takeo(mind):'Use this to communicate with your ships'...

Takeo:"Ok...hello? Testing, does this work?"

Javelin:"Loud and clear, commander."

Laffey:"Hello Takeo..."

Takeo:"Heh...hi...Z23, Ayanami, do you copy?"

Ayanami:"We copy."

Z23:"Good to hear your voice, commander."

Takeo:"Right back at ya. Alright, let's depart."

All:"Right!"

*They depart from Azur Lane, and start heading towards the shipgirls in need of rescue*

Takeo:"There they are."

Javelin:"Alright, let's go!"

*Takeo's ships go to the other shipgirls aid, who are passed out, among them, Takeo recognizes one of the ships*

Takeo(mind):Wait, isn't that...what was her name...oh, Cleveland! That's her name!

*The shipgirls get rescued, but Takeo gets a signal on his radar*

Takeo:"Huh? Hold up, I'm getting something."

Ayanami:"Where?"

Takeo:"I don't know..."

Z23:"Uh oh, brace for impact!"

*They get attacked by a battleship*

Takeo:"Whoa! You've got to be kidding me...are you all ok? Does anyone copy?"

Ayanami:"I copy, I'm gonna get these ships towards you, you can escort them from here."

Takeo:"Ok then, does anyone else copy?"

Javelin:"I copy, me and Laffey got blown away."

Takeo:"Ok, retreat back to Azur Lane, we're getting those ships out and that's final. Don't engage."

Javelin:"Ok...Copy that."

Takeo:"Z23? Z23, do you copy?"

Z23:"Ugh! Yeah, I copy, what just happened?"

Takeo:"We're retreating, where are you?"

Z23:"You can't see me?"

Takeo:"...Oh, I'm getting a signal west of us, is that you?"

Z23:"Correct, I see you, I'm gonna rendezvous onto your position."

Takeo:"Just try to catch up with us, we're leaving."

Z23:"Roger."

Takeo:"Ok, Ayanami, let's get out of here."

Ayanami:"Roger that-" *Gasps*

*Ayanami gets blown back by the battleship*

Takeo:"Ayanami!!!"

Ayanami:"Ugh!!!"

Takeo:"Ayanami, are you ok? Ayanami, do you copy?"

Ayanami:"Ugh! I copy, I'm fine."

Takeo:"Ok, get those ships out of here. That ship is gonna keep lighting us up, unless we get out of here now."

Ayanami:"Understood!"

*Ayanami hurries back and gets all the shipgirls on Takeo's ship*

Takeo:"Alright, we are getting out of here!"

*They retreat back to Azur Lane*

Takeo:"Phew...that was a close one."

Ayanami:"Were we followed?"

Takeo:"I hope not."

*Takeo takes off his headset, and gets out of his ship*

Takeo:"Alright, let's get these girls out of here."

Ayanami:"Yes sir."

*Ayanami starts getting the shipgirls onto the harbor, and Z23 arrives and helps Ayanami out*

Takeo:"We need to get these girls to Vestal. Their weapons are damaged."

Ayanami:"Alright."

Z23:"Got it!"

*Takeo gets Vestal*

Vestal:"I can take them, I'll treat them once we get them there."

Takeo:"We'll help out."

Vestal:"Oh, thank you."

*Takeo and his ships lead the shipgirls to the hospital, and Vestal takes care of them*

Takeo:"..."

Ayanami:"Is something wrong, commander?"

Takeo:"Hmm...Laffey and Javelin haven't gotten back yet."

Ayanami:"That's true...oh, commander, look."

Takeo:"Huh? Oh, there you two are."

*Javelin and Laffey walk to the commander, exhausted*

Laffey:"Laffey is gonna take a little nap..."

*Laffey walks in the other direction, and falls over after a few steps*

Takeo:"What the?!"

Javelin:"Laffey! Are you ok?"

Laffey:"...Zzz..."

Takeo:"She's just asleep, you two can take a little break."

Javelin:"Ok...thank you, commander!"

Laffey:"...Zzz..."

*Javelin carries Laffey, as they walk away from Takeo*

Takeo:"Alright, I'll stay here to see how they do, you can take a break."

Z23, and Ayanami:"Yes sir!"

*Z23 and Ayanami leave, and Takeo sits there*

Takeo(mind):What was Cleveland doing out there?!

*Takeo waits outside until Cleveland wakes up*

Cleveland:"Ugh...what the?"

Vestal:"Oh, you're awake."

Cleveland:"Vestal? How did I get back?"

Vestal:"The commander."

Cleveland:"Ugh! Haha, so he was the rescue?"

Vestal:"Yep."

Cleveland(mind):Heh...not bad.

Cleveland:"Oh, what about my sisters? They were out there with me."

Vestal:"Look to your left."

Cleveland:"Huh?"

*Cleveland's sisters are unconscious in their own beds*

Cleveland:"Aw man...we failed hard, huh."

Vestal:"At least you got out of there."

Cleveland:"Yeah, good point."

*Cleveland starts getting up*

Cleveland:"Ugh! Damn..."

Vestal:"Cleveland, you need to rest."

Cleveland:"Ugh...fine. Can you do me a favor?"

Vestal:"What is it?"

Cleveland:"Can you get Takeo in here? I want to thank him."

Vestal:"Oh, ok then."

*Vestal goes outside and gets Takeo inside*

Vestal:"Hey, Takeo. Cleveland wants to speak with you."

Takeo:"Huh? Oh, ok then."

*Takeo follows Vestal to see Cleveland*

Takeo:"Hey Cleveland."

Cleveland:"Hey commander."

Takeo:"Call me Takeo."

Cleveland:"Oh, Right. Haha."

Takeo:"I see that you're doing well."

Cleveland:"Ugh! Yep...never better, heh..."

Takeo:"So...what did you want to tell me?"

Cleveland:"...Thank you, for saving me, and my sisters."

Takeo:"Oh, so the other ships are your sisters?"

Cleveland:"Yeah."

Takeo:"I see...I'm glad we made it in time to save you."

Cleveland:"Yeah."

Takeo:"...What were you doing out there anyway?"

Cleveland:"I'm not even sure, Enterprise told me to get all my sisters to fight off some kind of invasion, but I wasn't given information about the target."

Takeo:"An invasion? Enterprise was with you?"

Cleveland:"She left mid-battle, said she was gonna send some backup to help us, but we got knocked out before they could come."

Takeo:"I'm guessing that Enterprise meant to send us as the backup, but when she couldn't contact you she send us as a rescue team instead."

Cleveland:"Yeah..."

Takeo:"There's only one question...what the hell did you fight? We found a battleship there, but it sounds like the thing that you and your sisters were fighting was something more powerful or something, like a alien ships."

Cleveland:"Heh...sure looked like a weird alien ship, it had red and black colored ship design, with artillery I've never seen before."

Takeo:"Really?!"

Cleveland:"Yeah."

Takeo:"Huh...sounds like you were up something big."

Cleveland:"Ugh! I need to figure out what the heck that thing was."

Takeo:"I'll work on that."

Cleveland:"Heh...fine...hey, Vestal?"

Vestal:"Oh, yes?"

Cleveland:"Can you call Enterprise for me?"

Vestal:"Oh, ok then."

Takeo:"Huh? What's that for?"

Cleveland:"Heh...You'll see."

Takeo:"Really..."

Cleveland:"haha, yep."

Takeo:"Wow...ok, I see how it is."

Cleveland:"You'll like it, trust me."

Takeo:"Uh...Ok then...well, see ya."

Cleveland:"See ya soon."

*Takeo leaves the hospital, and goes to his office*

Takeo(mind):What does she mean by soon?

*Takeo stays in his office and hangs out with his shipgirls, they go out for dinner, and he goes to his home*

Takeo:"Goodnight, girls! See you all tomorrow."

Ayanami, Javelin, Laffey, and Z23:"Goodnight, commander!"

*Takeo goes up to his house, but sees something in his mailbox*

Takeo:"Huh? Oooooo, my first mail ever since becoming commander...let's see."

*Takeo grabs the envelope in his mailbox, and heads inside*

Takeo:"Who's it from?"

*Takeo goes to his room, and looks at the envelope*

Takeo:"Oh, it's from Enterprise?"

*He opens it up, and it shows certificates*

Takeo:"Huh? What the?"

*He sees a little note in the the bottom of the envelope*

Takeo(mind):'Dear commander,

I received a request from Cleveland, she told me to give you this, she talked over it with her sisters, and they agreed to help out as well. I have to thank you for rescuing them, and I apologize for not being able to help, I hope you will make the right decision that will help Cleveland and her sisters.

Sincerely, Enterprise.'

*Takeo looks at the certificates*

Takeo:"Don't tell me these are..."

Takeo(mind):It's Cleveland's certificate...her name's in the battleship's name box. She wants to help me with trying to figure out what those things she fought were.

*Takeo's notices that there are more that one certificate*

Takeo:"What the? Are these her sisters' certificates?"

*Takeo looks at the certificates*

Takeo(mind):So Cleveland's sisters' names are Columbia, Montpelier, Denver, and Birmingham, huh...

Takeo:"They are all in the same class."

*Takeo signs all of the certificates*

Takeo:"Ok, what do I do again?"

Takeo(mind):Do I have to show them that I signed it? I'll just mail it back to Enterprise.

*Takeo puts the certificates in his mailbox, and heads to bed*
