I ran far I didn't know where I was going. I didn't care I just wanted to leave. I was still crying. I still heard Joey yell for me. I can't believe he still casing me. I saw a man walking I hope he isn't going to try to stop me. But my luck he does he stops me he grabs my arm. I didn't try to stop him I just dropped down on the sidewalk. I heard Joey again. "Thank You". Joey said to the man he was out of breathe. Joey dropped down next to me and hugged me. I was still crying harder and louder than before. He was trying to calm me down but I just couldn't stop crying. I wanted to cry until I died. I know that seems a little harsh but that's how I felt. I couldn't believe that no one told me about this. I can't believe that my dad would do something like that.

As me and Joey sat there. I could a lot of people walk by and ask if I was okay. Joey answered everyone with the same answer. "Yes". He lied to everyone. I wasn't okay I was heat broken. But I my heart healed as I relized that Joey helped me. He helped me calm down. If he didn't I would still be running and maybe never come back. I stopped crying finally. Joey noticed and was about to let go of me. I stopped him I didn't want end this hug. "Meghan are you okay now". I nodded. He kissed my head and hugged me tighter. I looked up at him and smiled. "Thank you" I said "For what"? "Chasing me and calming me down. If you didnt do that I would still be running". He smiled and kissed me again. He then started to get up. I got up too and put his arm around me and we started to walk back to school.

By the time we got back. School was almost over. I did run really far and we walked back slowly. Kalel, Anthony, Stacy, Marzia, and Felix were sitting on the front stairs. Kalel jumped up and ran over to me she quickly hugged me. Stacy and Marzia were next. Then all three of them hugged me. The last bell rang. I missed all of school. I really didn't care though. We all grabbed our backpacks and walked toward our cars. We were going to meet each other at the mall. Kalel's idea by the way.

The boys all went somewhere and all the girls did too. I had a great time. Everything that happened earlier dissapered. Expect when Joey calmed me down that didn't leave my mind. He was so sweet to me. I really enjoyed that. As we walked and went into different stories we laughed and talked. I really had a great time. Then I felt hands grab my waist. I jumped and quickly turned around. It was Joey I smiled and laughed. He kissed my cheek and he smiled too. The other boys came up and everyone started to walk toward the food court.

We got food and started to eat. We ate and talked. We finally finished eating and my phone started to ring. "Hello? David? What's going on? Okay. Okay I'll be there in a minute". "Whats wrong"? Marzia asked. "My mom is drunk. She must of had a bad day. Joey can you take me home"? "Sure". "Sorry guys" I said."No problem". "It's fine". Everyone started saying. Me and Joey got up and walked toward his car.
