All I remember is seeing his face. He looked terrified. The ground was shaking. He was holding me tight in his arms. I could feel his heart beating faster and faster minute after minute. I was crying. I had no idea what was happening. Everything was happening so fast. He was telling me everything would be fine. It was like my life was flashing before my eyes.

Then it all went silent. I was scared for my life. I was still in his arms. He slowly let go. "What the hell just happened" I whispered "Earthquake" is all he said. I looked around my room. It was a mess everything was knocked over. Some pictures were broken on the floor.

I slowly stood up, I wanted to make sure the rest of my family was okay.
