I walked to the office to get my schedule when I walked in there was a girl with black hair. She walked up to me "Hi. I'm April I'm guessing your Meghan" "Uh, yes I am how did you know"? "Well, I've never seen you here before and you look lost" "Oh. Well, I am lost" "Okay. Well I'm going to show you all around the school" I nodded and said to myself 'And maybe be my best friend because I'm all alone' she pointed to my schedule "Okay. First you have Mr. Hoppers class he is down here" she walked out the door and I followed her. Everyone was looking at me I felt my face get hot. I looked away from everyone. "Right here" I heard a voice I looked up "Huh? Oh, sorry" "It's okay. And don't worry about them".

It was a little later and I have had three classes already. When the fourth bell rang it was lunch I was panicking 'Where am I going to sit? I don't know anyone. HELP ME!!' 'Keep calm Meghan' I know what you are probably thinking 'Why is Meghan panicking over the littlest things?' because I'm Meghan Camarena I do things like that.

Anyway, I walked to the cafeteria got my food and I was looking for a place to sit. An empty place. None. Everything was taken. Then I felt a tap on my shoulder I turned around it was April the girl from earlier and she had a guy with her. "Hey, Meghan do you want to sit with us this is my friend Oscar". "Oh, uh yeah that would be great" "Okay. Come on" I followed them to a table with another guy and another girl. We all sat down "This is Meghan. Meghan that's Jenn and that's Tyler" "Hi" I said they said hi back.

About 3 minutes later a cute boy sat in front of me. I stopped eating and looked up at him. He was just sitting there. I looked at April. She mouthed her lips saying 'He is popular' I looked back at him. "Hi. I'm Connor and I was wondering if you wanted to go to the prom with me" I just sat there prom is three months away why would he ask me right now? "I know your new here but your just really pretty and I wanted to ask you before anyone else did" he said with a smile. I must have looked so stupid just sitting there. April nudged my arm I looked at her. Her, Oscar, Tyler and Jenn all nodded their head. I turned back to Connor "Uh, sure I would love too" I said then he smiled "Okay. See ya later" he said as he got up and walked away. "Well, that was wierd" I said "Not as wierd as you just sitting there" Tyler said while laughing "Hey! It was random I didn't know what to say and it's my first day I didnt know who he was"! Then I remembered Joey. I remember Joey said he was going to take me to our prom. But I moved. Ugh! Why does this have to happen to me! "Are you okay"? Jenn asked "I'm fine. It's just that someone were I moved from said he was going to take me to our prom" I said as I looked at them. "Well, he is there you are here. So, you can just forget about him" Oscar said "No. I can't forget him" "Why not? He just asked you to the prom. Right?" April said "Wrong. He is my fiancée" I said "What!?" everyone shouted "Wow! April asked "My mother" I said with an angry tone "Oh" April said. I felt like crying because I won't got to the prom with the love of my life but with someone I have just met.
